It’s melodic, a perfect tune he wants to bottle up and keep forever. ‘It just feels like we have this thing going, you know? I climb through your window, you’re mad, then we hug and like, almost kiss, and then I leave again. And it’s our thing. But if it makes you uncomfortable, I promise I’ll stop.’
There’s a beat of silence. And then—
