Hello, my name is Hema, it’s a unique name I know. Apparently the man with black hair and glasses found it in a book. That is the reason why I am currently in the library in his house to find that book.
I live in a giant house, why? I don't know. As far I know the man and a woman with red hair own the house and a girl, younger than me, with red hair and green eyes and a scar on her nose (like Iruka from Naruto) is their child, but who am I?
I have black wavy hair, green eyes and two scars, one on my cheek and the other on my lip. For some reason I look like them but I am not treated like them. When I let something float they run to the girl and say something about accidentall magic, magic doesn't exist right? Also when I sneeze I fly a few feet into the air. I think I am five-years-old, but I have never had a party like the little girl, who is probably one as she had a big party recently. I don't know when I was born either, nor do I know who my parents are or why I can blow a tornado out of nothing.
I then walked into a dark section of the library, it was in the back and it was all dark and gloomy. I blew some dust away with the little control that I had and went looking at the covers. I can't read, so I was just looking for an unusual cover and I came across a book cover with three swirls depicted on it. I opened the book, but when I did that I was blinded by a bright light and then I saw nothing.
Asami POV* ((A/N) Imagine that Yasuko lived A bit longer)
I was in our big garden while father was in the workshop and mother was on the porch reading a book. I was about to go back to mother when there suddenly was A bright light behind me. I was still looking at mother and saw that she was looking behind me. I turned around when the light died down and there was a girl, a little younger than me, with black hair laying in the grass face down. Mother and I ran to her. Mother turned her around and She had two scars on her face. "Asami go get your father." My mother said as she too went inside the house.
I ran to fathers workshop, knocked and entered. "Is there something Asami?" My father asked. I huffed and panting trying to catch my breath. "Mother and I saw a bright light in the garden and when it dimed there was a little girl in it's place. Mother told me to get you."
He looked shocked, but still ran with me back to the garden. Mother was already back outside and we saw police aircrafts coming this way. "Hiroshi I have called the police station and the hospital." An ambulance raced through the grass, ruining the garden, and the aircraft let An anker fall.
Two doctors came from the ambulance and multiple officers came from the aircraft. "Tell me what happened exactly!" A greying woman with two scars on her face demanded. "Me and my daughter where in the garden when A bright light shone and when it dimed down She was laying here, face down in the grass." My mother explained.
"Get her in the ambulance and get her checked out!" She commanded. The men got her into the ambulance and drove off. The woman was about to go back to the aircraft, but mother stopped her. "Lin! We want to go with her." My mother said to the woman. The woman, Lin, sighed. "Yasuko, this is a police investigation!" "Lin!" Lin sighed again. "Alright come!" She put Some cabbles around us and threw us on the aircraft and then She herself came up.
I grabbed my mother's hand. We then landed near the hospital and we stepped out. Lin went to a doctor that approched her. "She is stable and gained conscious and is ready to speak." He informed her. She went to her room and went inside while we stayed outside the door.
3rd POV*
Chief of Police Lin Beifong was now standing before Hema, who was laying on a bed with tubes everywhere. Lin got a notebook and sat on one of the chairs near the bed. "I am Lin Beifong, chief of police, and I want to ask you some questions."
"What is your name?"
"Hema."
"Got A lastname?"
"No."
"Do you know who your parents are?"
"No."
"Do you know where you come/came from?"
"No."
The chief raised An eyebrow.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"I don't know."
"Do you remember How the place you came from looked like?"
"It was like a big house with a big library."
"Do you know who owned the big house?"
"A man with black hair and glasses and A woman with red hair and green eyes."
"Is there more about those two?"
"There was A little girl to with red hair And green eyes, a little younger then me."
"That is all I need to know for now. I Will be back to interview you again." And she left.
Outside the room where the Sato's waiting in the hall.
"What did you get Lin?" Yasuko asked. Lin showed What She got and Hiroshi frowned. "A big house eh? But we are one of the few who have both A mansion and A child." "And I have never heard of red hair, but why does she have a name from airbending culture?" His wife added. Mr. and Mrs. Sato nor Chief Beifong noticed that Asami went into the room.
The girl looked at Asami. "Hi." She said. "Hi." Said the girl back. "I am Asami." She said and sat in the chair that Chief Beifong sat in not even two minutes ago. "Hema." It was quiet for A while.
"So How do you feel?" Hema thought for a bit. "I feel like I'm at peace." Asami kept looking at her. "What do you remember?" she asked the younger girl, neither of the girls knew that Beifong was listening through the door with her notebook.
"I was in de big house and was going to the library. I found a book with three gray swirs on it, I opened it and I was blinded by a white light." Asami looked at her with innocent doe eyes. "I like to read, do you also like to read?" Hema looked sadly at the white sheet. "I don't know how to read, but I had nothing else to do"
Asami looked at her funny. "What do you mean?" "When I wake up, I do one or two things, but stay away from the others and when I'm tired I go to sleep."
Then Yasuko entered the room. "Asami we have to go. Say bye to Hema." Asami looked from her mother to the other girl I'm the room. "Bye Hema." The eleven-year-old waved at the five-year-old and left the room with her mother.
Lin Beifong on the other hand was leaving the hospital while reading her notebook as she headed to the policestation.
