꧁Shortly after Spring Unsprung, the annual festival that went a bit.. astray, from its usual fairytale꧂
🐦⬛♫
After the Spring Unsprung went a bit off-the-book this year, the students of Ever After High were all surprisingly quick to let go off the whole thing and move on to the next chapter.
That’s everyone, except for Raven Queen.
Actually, she found it weird that everyone could walk past this scandal this quickly? The Apple White had turned evil along with so many of their friends.. almost succeeding in draining their world of everything that made it Ever After! So how come.. how come everyone is acting like everything is okay now, when it’s clearly not?
Raven carried these feelings heavily. Page after page. The more she reflected upon the incident.. the more the guilt consumed her.
If only I was strong enough to stop them..
If only I could use my magic then maybe..
If only I could actually be of help..
If only.
In the end, her thoughts always circled back to the same key problem. Her magic.
The truth is that the reason she consumed so much guilt is because she knows she could’ve done more. It would never have escalated to the point where they actually managed to plug the Well of Wonder up, if she was stronger.
It was pathetic. Daughter of the Evil Queen, the most evil and powerful being in the history of fairytales so far. Yet her daughter couldn’t even have her own magic listen to her.
She could’ve blown up the wood piece that they used to plug up the well for example!
Or even simpler, capture the cursed people and–
“Raven!”
“Huh?” Raven blinked a few times, registering her surroundings. Hex. She’d done it again.
”You’re zoning out again.. everything okay?” Her best friend forever after, Maddie, bore a concerned look on her face. This wasn’t the first time Raven had suddenly stopped responding and stared into nothingness..
”I– of course.! I’m sorry Mads, I’m just.. really tired. I didn’t get enough beauty sleep tonight..” she chuckled awkwardly, trying to keep the ever so observant girl away.
”You know there’s no use lying to me, the narrator narrates everything!” Maddie pointed an offended finger at her friend, how could she forget an ever so important fact?
”Right.” Raven nodded exhaustively. They were in the middle of lunch, and she hadn’t even begun touching her tray.
”You know, there’s a so fairy obvious solution to your magic problem!” Maddie hummed as she proceeded to take off her hat to pull out two tea cups and her favorite tea kettle with two openings.
She was quick to pour the tea into both cups at the same time and handing one of them to Raven, sitting across from her on the castleteria table.
”Magic? How’d you–“ Raven looked at her dumbfounded, but quickly shut up once she realized the look Maddie was passing her. She’d just hexplained, had she not?
”Okay then..” she sighed defeated, sipping from the tea cup she was handed. “Then what is this ‘fairy obvious solution’?”
“You need to practice your magic!” Maddie cheered enthusiastically, as if she’d just solved all of Raven’s problems.
”Wow, thanks for the help.” She muttered out sarcastically. Practicing was quite literally the only thing she did. Every hextbook surrounding magic, every spellbook for beginners, hex, she’d even taken the books Apple had gifted her on ‘occasions’ as a push to becoming evil, and tried to learn from them!
”You practice a lot Raven, but how do you practice?” Maddie asked, unfazed by Raven’s obviously irritated tone.
”With books, you know this Maddie! I try to remember as many spells as possible in silence, alone in the lifairy–“
”Bingo!” The shorter girl began clapping enthusiastically, stopping Raven in her tracks.
”What do you learn from just repeating the same spells over and over alone? It’s like you’re adding the sugar, but not stirring the tea!” Maddie hexplained, sipping from her tea cup. She noticed she wasn’t getting an answer anytime soon, therefore continued speaking,
”What I’m saying Raven; is that you need a teacher! Someone that actually knows magic, that can tutor you! Hexplain what you’re doing wrong, and so on.” She finally finished, looking at Raven with a huge smile.
”Maddie, that’s–“ Raven was seconds away from slamming her hand down onto the table, but was instead hit with a wave of realization once her eyes locked with Maddie’s; who were full of happiness and certainty. “That’s not a bad idea.”
“I know!” Maddie giggled loudly, forcing Raven to let out a laugh herself.
”Now, who has an hexceptional hexpertise in magic?” Maddie pondered out loud, slowly scratching her chin with one hand and stuffing her things back into her hat with the other.
“The bell’s about to ring, let’s take it after school, sounds good?” Raven offered as she stood up with her pretty much still-full tray in hand.
”Something is telling me that this is going to be an absolutely wonderlandiful magic hunt!” The mad hatter’s daughter basically beamed with joy, jumping up and down while walking alongside Raven.
”You find everything wonderlandiful, Mads.” She sighed, her smile still plastered on.
”Oh trust me, this will be different!” Maddie giggled, as always finding a positive and fun side to everything.
🐦⬛♫
Classes went by in a flash, and in just an hour and a half, Maddie and Raven were at each other’s side after their last, shared class-ic of the day; Hexonomics with Professor Rumpelstiltskin.
”Alright Maddie, where do you wanna start?” Raven asked as they walked outside the classroom.
”Kitty’s pretty good at magic!” She suggested, until she shook her head. “But assuming that she’s just teleporting.. that wouldn’t be the same.”
”We need to find someone with the same kind of essence in their magic like my magic..” Raven reminded both Maddie and herself. Well, that shortened their suggestions a whole lot..
“Let’s see..” Maddie was quick to pull out a notebook and pen from her hat while they walked down the halls, ready to write down possible participants.
”Farrah? Her magic can literally do anything until 12 as long as it’s a wish.” Raven suggested, and Maddie wrote it down.
“Let’s start with her, I can’t think of anyone else at the moment!” Maddie nodded, clicking her pen repeatedly as to double check her statement. “Nope, no other name comes to mind, let’s go!” She announced as she rushed through the halls and lockers, Raven right after.
And with that, they were on their way. One problem though.. they didn’t really know where Farrah was.
“Did you hear that?” Coincidentally, Duchess was by her locker and putting away her hextbooks before she went on ahead to her dorm with Faybelle.
”Hm?” The dark fairy was leaning against some locker next to Duchess, looking at her nails as she waited for her friend to finish up whatever she was doing.
Duchess slammed her locker shut, rolling her eyes at Faybelle. She was never paying attention to anything that didn’t interest her, and Duchess allowed herself to get irritated every once in a while when she was annoyingly reminded about this fact.
”Nevermind, let’s go.”
🐦⬛♫
“I’m sorry Raven, my magic works way more differently than yours..” Farrah frowned sympathetically, noticing her friend’s disappointment.
”I’d love to teach you all I know about magic, but there’s such a difference in the factors.. considering you have what’s called ‘evil magic’. It’s like the contrast to mine, ‘good fairy magic’.” She continued explaining as gentle as possible, passing Raven a small smile in the process.
”Don’t sweat it Farrah, it’s fine.” Raven assured her, not wanting the girl to feel bad. She’s a constant people pleaser, asking her to be a whole ass teacher is too much anyways.
Raven and Maddie bid farewell to Farrah, continuing their search for a someone that possessed the extraordinary magic that they were looking for.
”Madam Baba Yaga does a lot of spells and thingies?” Maddie suggested, only for Raven to roll her eyes playfully, “Yeah and she’ll totally have private lessons with some no-good witch that she’s definitely not gonna get paid for.” She reminded her, making Maddie frown.
”I’m sorry Maddie, your idea’s hexcellent. But in the end, there’s no one who could actually teach me magic at this school..” Raven was bummed out, obviously. It was nice to cling to some false hope for a while, even though it ended up being a royal fail.
Suddenly, the other girl, as if a lamp had turned on above her hand, immediately jumped up.
”Oh-oh-oh, I have an idea!!” She giggled excitedly, which Raven couldn’t help but raise her eyebrow suspiciously at.
”Faybelle Thorn.” Maddie decided, and Raven’s eyes shot open, much wider than before.
”Absolutely not. I’m pretty sure Faybelle can’t even stand me. Let alone teach me magic.” Raven shook her head at the thought. Faybelle had never shown any interest in even talking with Raven. She suspected it had something to do her being a rebel, and Faybelle a royal. But it’s not like those roles prevented anyone from actually being friends..
”Butttt… Faybelle does possess dark fairy magic. And if my clock is ringing correctly, then Faybelle has been doing magic since she was born!” Maddie continued to add on.
There was no way Faybelle was her only hope? Right?
“Maddie..”
“I’ve also heard that she’s a big fan of your mother. Fans tend to know a thing or two about their idols.. which could easily mean signature spells..” There was no question about it. Faybelle was the most solid – if not the best possible pick in this. Not to mention the only one at that.
”But we don’t even talk! It’ll be weird if I suddenly ask her to teach me magic out of nowhere!” Raven groaned, she can just imagine the embarrassment. Faybelle’s not the type to let anyone off the hook for something she could even mildly tease them about, Raven knew that much.
“She’s Bunny’s roommate!” Maddie said, but Raven shook her head.
”What’s Bunny going to do? It’s not like she can ask Faybelle for me, there’s no way she’ll listen.” And yet again the shorter girl had to put on her thinking face for what seemed to be the hundred time already today.
”I think I know someone she’ll listen to.” Maddie grinned eagerly, a sly smirk creeping on her face.
“You’re not letting this go, are you?” Raven sighed, seeing the eager and beaming girl next to her already set to go find the person she has in mind.
”You want to improve your magic or not?” She snapped back, immediately killing any ounce of resistance from Raven.
”If she still says no, I’m blaming you.” She reminds her as they walk through yet another hall.
”There’s no way she’ll turn down a request from her.” Maddie chuckled amongst herself, leading the two of them to the girl’s dormitory.
Walking up the stairs, Maddie had led them to Ashlynn Ella and Briar Beauty’s dormitory.
”Briar?” Raven asked for confirmation, knowing it was the obvious answer anyways.
”Yup!” Maddie knocked on the door, a big grin plastered on her face, “Wait, I don’t even know how to–“ Raven suddenly remembered, only to be interrupted straight away. “Freestyle it!”
The last sentence Maddie said before the door opened, and Ashlynn appeared at the entrance.
”Maddie, Raven, what a cute surprise! What are you guys doing here?” Ashlynn greeted them immediately, her face lighting up when seeing her friends. Maddie was the first to jump into a hug, chuckling along with Ashlynn. “We’re looking for Briar, is she here?” Raven asked, hugging Ashlynn (way more calmly) than Maddie did.
“She’s in the bathroom taking a shower, you can just wait here.” She answered with a warm smile, closing the door behind them as they walked in and took off their heels by the entrance.
Raven passed the girl an appreciative gesture, scanning the dorm as she walked around. Maddie had satisfied herself with a chit-chat with Ashlynn, who was more than happy to.
Raven looked around Briar’s side of the dorm. She was the most extroverted and social party girl in all of Ever After High. Hosting parties left and right, hanging out with anyone, anywhere, whenever. And next to being this out going person – was also this intelligent personality. They’ve never been that close, but they considered each other apprentices. Which in Raven’s opinion, was good enough.
Even so, her side of them room was pretty much exactly how she expected it to be. It was filled with memories. Pictures, photo frames both big and small of everyone. There was a picture of Raven, her, Apple, and Maddie. A cute selfie she seemed to have snapped at the right timing where Hopper was falling off a ladder behind her, while Cupid is trying to catch him, and during it all is Briar sticking her tongue out and shooting up the peace sign with her free hand. Pictures with Rosabella, Ashlynn, it was never ending.
I guess I’d also want to save as many memories as possible before sleeping for a century.. Raven thought to herself. Briar being a royal was weird.. at least to Raven. She could never sleep for a century, but if it works for Briar then..
Out of all the pictures and photo frames, one specifically caught her attention. She’d walked over to her nightstand where a small, pink photo frame stood out. It was of Briar and Faybelle. Briar was taking a selfie with Faybelle next to her. Faybelle was smiling, her sharp teeth out and everything. But it wasn’t scary looking, it looked.. peaceful and neutral. She had Briar’s sunglasses on her head, while Briar was next to her, seemingly laughing at the other girl, cheeks flushed and pink.
What really stood out to Raven, other than it being an adorable photo, was the hearts drawn on it. Briar’s writing was engraved into the pink frame, reading “me & fay <3”. There were one pink heart and one cyan heart, both drawn with sharpies onto the photo itself.
Raven didn’t know the two were this close? They’re almost too close.. could it be–
“Raven, Maddie?” Briar had walked into the room, a towel around her hair and a pink robe on. Raven immediately turned around, forgetting all about the frame. “Hey, Briar.” Raven chuckled awkwardly, followed by a way less awkward Maddie. “Briar!” She shouted enthusiastically, rushing over to wrap her in a hug. Briar couldn’t help but laugh, hugging her right back. “What’s up?”
As they pulled away from each other Briar walked up to Raven by the nightstand, giving her a quick hug before sitting down to fix her hair.
”They were looking for you so I just let them in.” Ashlynn informed her, before putting her heels on and getting up and ready to leave.
“Where are you going?” Raven asked curiously, only to have Briar respond for her, “She’s going out to enjoy her two month anniversary with Hunter.”
Ashlynn’s cheeks heated up quickly, smiling shyly. “Holy queen of cards, it’s already been two months?!” Maddie gasped in awe, clearly happy for her friend.
”Congratulations, Ashlynn!” Raven passed her a huge grin, more than happy on her behalf. “Thank you, guys. It means a lot.” She gracefully thanked for the congrats, opening the door and getting ready to leave.
”Don’t celebrate two months too hard!” Briar managed to yell before Ashlynn disappeared completely out the door. Raven and Maddie let out a few laughs, seeing the door closing and the laughter slowly fading.
“So, looking for me?” Briar asked, averting the conversation curiously. Maddie nodded eagerly, looking at Raven as a signal for her to talk.
Freestyle it. Raven reminded herself, taking a deep breath before beginning to talk. “Err.. so I kinda, need a favor.” She said, almost unsure if it was too late to back down now. She doesn’t need to fix her magic, it’ll come with time, right?
Briar didn’t say anything, which Raven unfortunately understood was a signal to keep talking.
”I need help with my magic. Like– a tutor or something of that sort. I suck at magic, and evil magic isn’t exactly the easiest type to manage.” Raven stopped up, trying to catch Briar’s expression, she was calm. She’d furrowed her eyebrows a bit, but overall she could keep going.
”And we kind of came to the conclusion that if there’s anyone that could help me with my magic.. it would be Faybelle.-“ Raven was about to keep going, but saw Briar’s eyes twitch slightly as she bit her lower slip slowly.
”So.. what favor do you need of me then? It sounds like this is a favor for Faybelle.” Briar spoke up, clearly confused. She’d turned around to face Raven and Maddie this time, letting the small fairies brush her hair for her while she kept up with the conversation.
”That’s kind of the thing. I’m pretty sure Faybelle doesn’t like- uh, isn’t quite fond of me. So if I asked I’m sure it would be a no. BUT I- I mean Maddie was hoping that if YOU ask.. she might say yes?” Raven laughed awkwardly at her own words. Maddie was holding an encouraging thumbs up from behind. Briar however..
Didn’t react badly, at all, actually.
”I can try, I can’t guarantee she’ll listen to me though!” She said with a big grin on her face, waving her hand around towards Raven.
“Really?!” Raven could feel a huge wave of relief wash over her. Briar would vouch for her!
”Of course, we’d wanna get those evil powers in action someday now, after all!” Briar joked, only for the room to fall silent, “Okay not in a destiny type of way guys..” her voice turned apologetic quick, which actually made both Maddie and Raven laugh out loud.
Briar got straight to the point. She said she’d just dry her hair done and then they’ll attempt calling Faybelle to see where she is. It took around twenty minutes at least, and she’d phoned Faybelle. The conversation went quick, asking if she was at her dorm and if she was planning on staying there. (Briar hexplained that if she told Faybelle she would be coming she’d suspect that something is up, so it was easier if she just called and hung up.)
Soon enough they waltzed down the halls from Briar’s dorm to Faybelle and Bunny’s.
”Ooh, you guys think Bunny’s there?!” Maddie asked enthusiastically, jumping up and down.
”I’d rather not everyone knowing about needing a magic teacher.” Raven sighed, still feeling embarrassed from the entire scenario.
”You’re in good hands, Raven. Faybelle is quite literally the best person at magic that I’ve ever seen. She’s been doing this since she was a small fay.” Briar gave them a reassuring smile, realizing they were standing in front of Faybelle’s door already. She didn’t bother to wait and knocked right away.
It barely passed a minute before Bunny opened the door, her eyes immediately lighting up once they had caught Maddie.
”Maddie!”
”Bunny!” She chuckled as she immediately threw herself onto Bunny, making both of them fall into the floor, laughing.
”Who’s there!?” Faybelle’s voice called out, making Bunny looked over Maddie’s head. “Uhh, Briar, Maddie, and Raven!” She shouted back, slowly standing up along with Maddie.
”Come on Bunny, join me and let’s knock on Lizzie’s dorm!” Maddie engaged, ready to get out of Ravens hair and let her and Briar deal with Faybelle.
”Faybelle just returned from Duchess earlier, I think her and Lizzie’s hanging out.. Right Faybelle?!” Bunny hexplained, shouting at Faybelle for confirmation. “Yeah!” Faybelle replied short, Bunny nodding in return.
”No problem, Kitty then!” Maddie suggested instead, and no complaints were heard from Bunny and they left shortly after that. As they left through the door, Briar and Raven walked in.
”Hey!” Briar called out, walking up to Faybelle with Raven right behind. Faybelle raised her eyebrow confused, being on her bed and scrolling on her mirror phone when the two girls had suddenly waltzed in.
”Uh, hey?” She let out, watching Raven slightly behind Briar, clearly unsure of what to do. The two girls were standing in front of her bed, weirdly enough with at least a metre distance from it though.
”We- uh.. Raven! Raven has something she needs a favor with.!” Briar stuttered, trying to drag Raven closer to her.
”You were supposed to vouch..!” Raven whispered aggressively, nudging Briar slightly while trying to keep a crooked smile up.
”I know..! I panicked..” She whispered back, her once perfect smile also having turned into a crooked one.
“You guys know that’s not how whispering works..? I’m right here.” Faybelle tilted her head, offended when it seems like they took her for an idiot.
”Faybelleeee..!!” Briar started off, dragging the vocals in her name as she walked closer to the bed, again dragging Raven slitghky behind. “You know Raven? Our good friend Raven. She needs help with her magic, and–“
”I’m gonna stop you right there, Briar.” Faybelle interrupted her, clearing her throat. “Raven Queen, magic problems?” She narrowed her eyes, burying them into the girl.
Raven took a deep sigh, this was going to take some patience. “To put it bluntly, I suck at magic. I can’t control it for the death of me.” She hexplained, wishing she would shut up when she saw a very obvious smirk creeping up on Faybelle’s face, as she had find this more amusing before she even got to the point.
”I need help with the magic. I can’t be unable to use my powers for the rest of my life, I may not be evil, but I’m still a sorcerer.” Faybelle snorted at the statement, rolling her eyes in the process.
”You want help with magic, from me?” Faybelle asked, seeing if she was understanding her right.
“You’re the only one at school closest to ‘evil magic’, and you actually know how to use your magic, flawlessly. There’s no one else I can ask.” Raven hexplained, seconds away from deeming this a lost cause as Faybelle’s expression didn’t seem too happy about this request.
Suddenly, a muffled laughter was beard from Faybelle, her eyes fierce when looking at Raven. “Miss ‘I’m gonna write my own destiny’ wants to learn how to manage her evil magic, despite not wanting to be evil.” She chuckled clearly this time, louder. “Ironic.” She rolled her eyes, the same smirk still on her face.
Raven couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Faybelle. She can’t believe this girl was really the only person she could turn to for this.
”No thanks, tutoring sounds like it would put my wings in a clip.” Faybelle answered shortly, ready to scroll back on her mirror phone.
Great. So she got a laugh, and I’m still going to suck at magic. Raven sighed, rubbing her temple as she knew she wouldn’t say yes from the start.
“Faybelle, come on!” Briar urged her, putting on a pout while Faybelle looked at her.
“No.” She answered again, waiting for both of them to get out of her dorm already. Why did she have to care if Raven was shit at magic? That’s prone to happen when you decide to throw away your wicked destiny. Faybelle wanted to say that, but she kept her thoughts to herself for once. She had a feeling Raven knew what she was thinking anyways.
”Sounds like you’re scared.” Raven shot in, shocking both Briar and Faybelle.
”Hexcuse you?” The dark fairy snarled, offended that anyone could ever begin to even suggest such a thing.
Briar however, was quick to catch onto Raven’s rhytmn. “Are you scared you’re not as good at magic as you thought you were?” She engaged, eyeing her up and down.
“First of all; Faybelle Thorn is not scared of anything. And second, I’m hexcellent at magic, and you know it.”
”But you can’t even be bothered to try and help Raven with hers. I think you’re scared you’re going to fail.” Briar smirked, continuing to talk as she saw Faybelle’s expression starting to look more and more conflicted.
”Scared that the magic might be too advanced for you, since it’s stronger. More powerful. You’re terrified Raven might turn out to be even better than you, am I wrong?” Briar held a strain smile, and Faybelle took good notice of this.
”Briar–“ Raven was about to step in. It wouldn’t be right to pester Faybelle anymore, she already said no. But she was quickly interrupted by Faybelle herself before she could even begin to talk.
”You wanna learn magic? Fine, I’ll teach you. But we’re doing this my way.” Faybelle huffed, staring annoyed at Briar once she clapped a little happy ‘hurray!’ As to celebrate how she’d convinced her flawlessly.
”I– thank you! Grimm, thank you so much, Faybelle.!” Raven sighed immediately, shocked and overjoyed. Faybelle rolled her eyes at the sight, to her it wasn’t that big of a deal, and it had even lesser significance when she saw how Raven appreciated this.
”Yippie!” Briar let out, making Raven laugh and Faybelle roll her eyes.
“Whatever after.. get out of my dorm. I’ll hext you or something.” Faybelle huffed annoyed. The girls were quick to disappear out the door again, with Briar passing Faybelle a small hug while Raven shot in yet another small thank you to the dark fairy.
“You’re such an ass, you were supposed to vouch for me, but completely threw me under the bus!” Raven groaned as they walked out of the dorm, Briar immediately laughing.
”It’s not my fault! She might be small, but she can be intimidating at times.” She immediately hexcused herself, “Besides, it went well, didn’t it?”
”Yeah, I guess.” Raven agreed, since it was also typically thanks to Briar. If she hadn’t continued nagging her, no would’ve remained the answer.
”Now don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll get the gist of it quickly. Faybelle’s probably an hexcellent teacher.” Briar smiled reassuringly as they walked down the hall again.
“You seem to be pretty sure that Faybelle is really great at a lot of things.” She muttered without thinking, shocked by the way her voice seemed to sound so rude.
”Ah, not like that! I didn’t mean it in a rude way–“ Raven was about to apologize, but Briar just shook her head.
”No worries, I understood what you meant.” She laughed, before a faint blush appeared on her cheeks. “I do believe she’s great at a lot of things, but that’s because I know she is. She’s really hardworking in her own sense, like a more.. mischievous and intimidating version of Apple, of some sort.” She explained softly, and Raven didn’t let the princess’s behavior let go unseen.
”Well, I believe it’s wicked that you can praise your supposed-to-be villain like this. You seem like fairy good friends.” Raven smiled gently, and Briar smiled back.
“Yeah, I guess we are.” Briar chuckled, her flushed cheeks slowly toning down.

So.. Raven Queen needs me to teach her magic? Faybelle thought about the scenario for a second time once she was left alone in her room. This was definitely not something you’d see or hear about everyday.
Still, Faybelle found the situation more amusing and interesting than anything. She couldn’t imagine admitting she was bad at something.. to someone like herself.
Raven must have pondered if she’d really want to ask Faybelle out of all people for help.
It’s not like Faybelle ever tried to hide it. She wasn’t a fan of Raven, at all.
Sure, she was a huge fan of her mother, the Evil Queen. She might’ve ruined her mother’s curse on sleeping beauty, but that just showed the ruthlessness of her evil mind, which Faybelle very much admired.
But when she met Raven for the first time, she could tell something was fairy off with the supposed daughter of the Evil Queen. She was nice.
Faybelle expected so much more. Like a cool, wicked villain, ready to show those pesky princes and princesses how it’s done. Reminding them, that even though they’re the ones that getting the “happy ending”, that it was only thanks to the villains. They’re the ones going to live in fear of these villains all their lives, which in Faybelle’s opinion, is an even greater part of being a villain. You hold power, people respect you. Or at most, fear you.
But that entire image of a perfect villain was absolutely crushed once Raven Queen had not only given the world this nice and kind witch, but even gone as far as to throw her entire purpose and destiny in the trash.
Faybelle detested it. Raven was supposed to be everything Faybelle wasn’t in terms of a hexcellent villain, the ideal goal for future villains. And yet.. she wasn’t even half of what Faybelle was. And she was completely okay with it. It felt like Raven was making fun of her from afar.
“I’m assumed to be the best villain ever after, and I’m not even evil”
“Look, I’m above you, even though I’ve never put in the effort to be here”
Faybelle wanted to be the best villain ever after. She loved her destiny, and was by far the most hard working to achieve that title. And still, no matter the effort, the girl who couldn’t give a rats ass about being a villain, carried that title she yearned so badly.
But now it looks like all of this ‘neglecting her destiny and being evil’-stuff is finally catching up to the witch. She couldn’t even control her magic, which is like the one, main thing, that makes a villain so feared. And even more; she was desperate to master it. Why not just go ahead with the rest of the fairytale?
Faybelle couldn’t help but feel a sly smirk of accomplishment creep up on her face. Raven Queen needed her help. Raven Queen was below her. Raven Queen was weaker than her.
Faybelle was better than Raven. She had beat her.
So that makes the dark fairy wonder.. how will this ‘teaching’ thing work?
