    Summary

For years, Jasper Whitlock has carried the weight of his past mistakes, searching—without truly believing—for a form of redemption. Everything changes in 1948 when he meets Alice, who had already been waiting for him, guided by her visions.

Through her, he discovers a hope he would never have dared to pursue alone: the hope of a better future. Together, they follow Alice’s dream—to live among the Cullens, a family of vampires who have chosen compassion over violence.

In joining this family, Jasper seeks not just a refuge, but the chance to become someone better. With Alice by his side, he dares to believe in a new beginning.

or, a short story about Jasper and Alice's meeting, his desire for redemption, his struggles to follow this new way of life, and their encounter with the Cullens — again.
