"The reason I suddenly became so obsessed with Lloyd was because I found out that our legendary green ninja was the one who wiped out an entire section of our branches single-handedly. He hunted down and slaughtered every single last one of the people involved in that branch, from the higher-ups to the coffee makers. It didn't matter."
They were both quiet for a few moments, mulling over Adam's words, "But that's-" Michael paused, swallowed, and stared at the ground below him, "-that was over a hundred people."
Adam nodded, taking a drink and letting it settle on his tongue, "He knows I'm involved, and he'll find out that you were involved, so the best course of action would be to hang back, prepare as much as we can, and let him come to us."
Another sigh, and Michael ran a hand down his face, holding it to his mouth for a second before replying, "Alright. I'll help. How many of my men do you need?"
Adam tilted his head towards him, smiling that damn smile that meant he knew something everyone else didn't, "Well Michael that depends, how many men are you willing to lose?"
