“Alright, alright, amigo,” Nathan acquiesced, putting his hands up defensively as he ducked under the ropes. “I get it, we’re all business. You could at least pretend to laugh at my jokes, though. Hurts my ego.”
“All the better to psych you out, no?” Axiom tossed back, grin evident in his voice. He rolled into the ring, pushing up to his feet in one relaxed, fluid motion.
Nathan grinned back, rolling out his neck as he hopped from foot to foot. “So you admit you’re fucking with my head.”
