The occasional tap against his skin had startled him, and it wasn’t until someone had groaned about it starting to rain that Luke realized what was happening. Scattered drops increased in frequency until the whole sky fell to meet the Rebel encampment in a mesmerizing dance.
He barely registered the voice behind him. “You’ve never seen rain before, farmboy?”
In holofilm, certainly. But it hadn’t done this any justice. His vision focused and unfocused, chasing individual drops speeding by, then trying to watch all of them at once.
Luke stood there, spellbound and uncaring that his clothes became soaked through.
