  1. Summary

Whumpril may have finished last month, but I've still got the official list of prompts (as well as the alternative list) on hand. I'm itching to flex my digits, and I might as well make use of the prompts. AUTHOR'S WARNING: Many (all, really) of these stories will deal with heavy and sometimes graphic subject matter and content.

NOTE: I’ve now discontinued this series because the event the prompts are from has long since passed, and I’d like to start focusing on other projects. This won’t be the last time I try to write for events, though!

    Summary

There were five, small, finger-print shaped bruises that decorated the skin around her hipbone. Memories, more sensations than full thoughts, filtered through her body of the night before. She hummed, contently, throwing Han a mischievous, mirthful look over her shoulder.

“You held on tight,” she joked, letting her shoulder fall against the bed until she was lying flat.

Han didn’t move. With the light, she could now see that while she found the situation amusing, maybe even stirring something in her low belly — he was horrified. His face was drawn, the color leeched from it, disappearing into that place in his head where Leia couldn’t reach him. She frowned, her brows pulling together, but he refused to meet her eye.

Or, Han accidentally bruises Leia and proceeds to beat himself up about it for twelve hours.

    Summary

Han Solo has quite a lot to think about.
For better or for worse, It’s all he can do while he’s frozen in carbonite.

Set of short vignettes that string together to form a coherent plot. Unannounced flashbacks, Jumping around the canon timeline like it’s hopskotch, and spiral into literary madness abound.

    Summary

After the destruction of the Death Star, Leia’s safety is once again on the edge of the knife as Vader is keen to recapture her. When the Rebellion decides to hide her from the public eye for a while, Han is assigned to help her disappear as soon as possible, and what better place to hide someone wanted by the Empire rather than right under their own nose?

Accompanied by their Wookie friend and a Tatooine farm boy turned pilot, the Princess and the Scoundrel set course for Corellia to look for shelter. As they find an oasis for themselves in his abandoned childhood home, Han relives the memories of his early years for the first time in forever and twists the knife in his own wounds once again.

(or Han is tortured by his miserable childhood on Corellia as he navigates through another impasse in his life, reopens scars unhealed, is haunted by the memory of his mother and slowly falls in love.)

    Summary

Cold is the tip of the knife of the butcher as it enters him, cold is the blade that licks his skin like the hungry, starving wolf chewing onto the skin of the rabbit. The rabbit was him. A fragile, still, mundane being, consumed by the wretched, vile animal that took advantage of his weakness and stripped him off anything close to being human again. He was a rabbit and he was nothing. Nothing but the bones and the disgusting bits of chewed meat hanging from his lifeless ribs. (. . .)

This was not Han. This was only the corpse he left behind, the rotting remains of someone he would no longer be.

This body was not, and would never be, his anymore.

Disguised as Boushh the Bounty Hunter, Leia enters Jabba’s palace to rescue a frozen in Carbonite Han Solo — or so she expects. Things take an unexpected turn when she faces the man she loves living, breathing, and in a position unlike everything she’d ever imagined.

or a reimagined scene from Return of the Jedi with a darker touch.
