   How did things become so horrible that demons and demon slayers had no choice but to band together to prevent human extinction?
   It came out of nowhere — and it was killing everyone. Civilians. Hashira. Even the Upper Moons. The Aijoubyou virus spared no one. It didn’t care what you were. Only who you loved.

   Muzan and Kagaya named it together — Aijoubyou. Love Sickness. Because that’s how it spread: not through wounds, not through bites, but through affection. Through trust.
   They both believed it could be Japan’s version of the Black Death. A plague born from the heart.

   Who in God’s name would believe that the moment someone started showing you warmth — gentleness, kindness, affection — that would be the sign you needed to kill them and burn the corpse?

   And how do you kill something that turns love into its weapon?
