Zero Tales

Summary:

The sequel to both Tales of Infinity and Tales of Pragmatism and Fabulism.
This story gives closure to both of these, introducing a brand new character, Ink Sans. However, Ink Sans isn't the same as his usual self (is he even a Sans at all?).
Both Blueberror and Infinity Error will have to find a way to cope with their friendship and feelings while a threat looms over the horizon. The task of a god comes with great responsibility.

Inktale was created and is owned by Comyet. Dreamtale was created and is owned by Jokublogs. Errortale was created and is owned by loverofpiggies or Crayon Queen

Chapter 1: Between Seconds

Chapter Text

It was a great day outside. The birds were singing, and flowers were blooming. On days like these, the people would go outside and feel the fresh air hit their nostrils as they saw the blue sky from above.

They tended to their garden, worked out, went to work, and did so many everyday activities that they took for granted. They thought that nothing would steal their freedom away, that it would always be the same for them, that there would be no change.

That couldn't be farther from the truth.

The blue sky that had always been there on the day turned on them, changing to white. It was too fast for anything in the world to react to this, for the wave of anti-existence hit every corner of the universe with no mercy instantly.
The timeline—what once was, what is, and what would've been—was thoroughly cleansed, erased. No matter, no memory, no thought, no essence remained in the wake left by this heinous void.

The people yearned for the blue sky once more, for their freedom. They asked themselves if their thoughts were even theirs, if they were even conscious, or if they were in a nightmare that they would not wake up from.
Then, their consciousness, too, ceased.

In between seconds, the destroyer fixes the paradoxes, millions of worlds trying to bleed into the chaos that the plague willed them into. However, the destroyer's will was far too mighty, even for the glitches.

Before time could stir forth, before the causal notion of cause and then effect even happened, he had already been there. He had already given them mercy fast enough for no pain to be inflicted upon them.

He has silenced many screams that no longer scream, erased many fates that dictated pure despair, and ceased pain from many societies.

In between seconds, his duty is to protect through infinite might.
