   Summary

   Shadow the Hedgehog is living on the ARK with Gerald Robotnik and his young, ill granddaughter, hoping to find a cure for her illness through his ultimate genetic makeup. She watches the aurora borealis with him, crochets and paints with him, dances with him and makes the most of their situation. In return, he grounds her during treatments, allows his nails to be painted and provides much needed help in the classroom.

   But something is wrong. Something here... Isn't right. This place... these faces... something is uncanny about them, like a photoshopped picture. Too smooth. Too perfect. And Shadow can only pretend not to notice this growing unease for so long...
