Anything for them

Summary:

Two years. Since the trial, that fucker had left them alone for two years but Touya knew it was too good to be true and was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“Where is Shouto?”

“He ran away Sir. He saw your father and got scared. He created a wall of ice and ran away from school. Endeavor is after him.”

Fuck.

Touya will do anything to protect Shouto and Natsuo. Anything.

Notes:

This is it. After two years!! It's been two years since Kacchan and Deku and believe it or not it took me two days to write this. (funny how I was thinking I couldn't write long fic anymore)

This 10k fic is for you. For all the people who waited and wanted a sequel.

I hope you will like it and I put some cameos so I hope you will find them all ;)

Enjoy!

(English is still not my native language)

Just for clarification, when you see he/him it's Endeavor and some of his abuse will be listed but nothing is too graphic. Last thing I don't know anything about law or destitution of parental rights this is fiction

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

When Hawks landed, he couldn’t stop a yawn from escaping his tired body. It’s been weeks since his last day off. The HPSC had put him on a complicated mission and Hawks refused to rest until he had finished it. It is child trafficking based on “villain quirk”. Kids for fuck’s sake, they were around his own kids’ age and Hawks refused to sleep until every kid was safe.

Hawks rubbed his eyes and thankfully the waiting line for the food truck was empty. He desperately needed to eat his hamburger or he will kill somebody. When it was finally his turn he greeted the cashier. “Hi, it’s an order under Hawks, I called an hour ago.”

The guy’s eyes widened, “Oh shit so it was real? Sorry man, people, ‘pecially teens like to call and order under a hero’s name either for a prank or ‘cause they know we will put free stuff.”

Hawks smiled but could feel irritation growing in him, “Well it’s me in the flesh, Hawks at your service.” and winked at the cashier.

“Right, I’m getting it ready right away!”

Hawks pulled out his phone as the guy started preparing his order. He smiled and felt the tension left his body when he saw his phone’s wallpaper. Touya, Natsuo, and Shouto were smiling at the camera. It’s been two years already since he and Touya got Shouto and Natsuo’s guardianship and it wasn’t easy every day but Hawks would never regret his decision.

“And now a breaking news, last night, Bonfire succeeded in arresting the man who called himself Japan’s scariest villain. The man was kidnapping kids by taking their parents' appearance. We count thirty-five victims and thankfully all the children had been found-”

Hawks tore his gaze from his phone to look at the small food truck’s TV. The TV presenter was explaining Touya’s latest cases and in the screen’s top left corner Hawks could see a small blurred picture of his boyfriend. Since Touya was an underground hero, none of the journalists had pictures of him and Hawks was careful to protect his lover’s identity.

Unfortunately since the trial two years ago, a lot of media got not just Touya’s face but also Natsuo, Shouto, and Fuyumi’s face. The trial had been all over the news after all it wasn’t every day that Japan’s second hero lost his kids’s guardianship.

“Ya know the guy?”

Hawks got out of his reverie by the cashier. “Sorry?”

“Bonfire,” The guy made a small head movement toward the tv, “He’s more of a rumor than a hero.”

“Well,” Hawks smirked, “Believe me, he’s very real.”

Since they got the kids, they hadn’t had a lot of possibility to be intimate at home but fuck Hawks loved when his boyfriend’s hot hands passed under his shirt or when he woke up feeling kisses upon his neck.

“He’s weird right?”

Hawks blinked and asked again, “Sorry?”

The cashier shrugged, “Yeah I heard he took Endeavor’s kids from him and he beat up that poor guy to a coma.”

Hawks felt a lump growing in his throat, “The poor guy as you said kidnapped thirty-five kids and took their parents’ appearance to trick them.”

Hawks remembers every report he read, all the nights he spent helping Touya try to find the kids, and all the mornings he felt anxiety growing in him when he left their kids at school not knowing, hoping no one would kidnap them. He remembered Shouto panicking when Touya came to pick him up, and Touya, too tired from the case, had forgotten the secret password he was supposed to say so Shouto could know it was the real Touya and not an imposter.

He remembered all the parents' cries, and when a mother, blind with anger and desperation, told Touya he didn’t have kids, so he couldn’t understand their pain, the poor mother immediately apologized when she saw a picture of Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shouto on Touya’s desk.

In Hawks’s opinion, he wouldn’t have bait an eye if Touya had killed that monster.

The guy raised an eyebrow, “Yeah, and? What he did was bad but a hero shouldn’t put someone into a coma. Bonfire is a jerk and a villain.”

“Fuck you.”

“Excuse you?”

The cashier, that asshole had the audacity to look angry but it didn’t stop Hawks. “I said fuck you, Bonfire is a hero and should be treated like one, He’s the best hero I know. He’s sweet, kind, and goddamn smart, if he hadn’t been underground he would be number one.”

Hawks started flying to leave and heard the cashier yell “Endeavor is better!” and choose to leave even if he wanted to break that asshole’s face.

A couple of minutes later he landed on his agency rooftop. Touya was already there, napping on the couch. Hawks took a minute to admire his boyfriend. He knew how little he slept because of his last cases and deserved the sleep. He gently brushed his hair from his lover’s forehead and left a kiss.

Touya frowned and rubbed his eyes. He sent a puzzled look when he saw Hawks’s hand empty from their lunch, “The food truck was closed?”

“He didn’t have any hamburger left.”

“But you called an hour ago?”

“Yeah well, he thought it was a prank.” Hawks sat next to him and started cuddling, “Don’t worry his burger didn’t even look good.”

Touya mumbled his face buried in the crook of Hawks’s neck, “But I’m hungry.”

“Sorry babe.”

Touya started to fall back asleep when his phone rang. He pulled it out and frowned. “It’s Shou’s teacher.” He picked up the call and asked, “Mister Suga? Is everything alright? Is Shouto sick?”

“Mister Todoroki, I’m so sorry, I don’t know what happened. My director let him pass and he came to our class to pick him up. I told him the rules were very clear and only you, Mister Hawks, and Mrs Todoroki, your sister were allowed to pick Shouto up but he insisted.”

Touya frowned deeper and felt his hands shaking. Hawks took his free hand in his and whispered. “What’s going on? Shou got a nightmare at nap time again?”

“Touya tried to swallow the lump in his throat, “Who is he , Mister Suga?”

Touya could feel Shouto’s elementary teacher was scared. “Your father, Mister Todoroki. Your father, Endeavor came to the school to pick up Shouo.”

Touya felt himself dying. Two years. Since the trial, that fucker had left them alone but Touya knew it was too good to be true and was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“Where is Shouto?”

“He ran away Sir. He saw your father and got scared. He created a wall of ice and ran away from school. Endeavor is after him.”

Fuck.

Touya closed his eyes and opened them again. He saw Hawks’s worried gaze. “We’re on our way.” and hung up.

“What happened?”

“That fucker, he- he tried to take Shouto from school. Shou ran away.”

Hawks’s eyes widened, “Fucking shit!”

A second later, Hawks was flying away carrying Touya in his arms in the direction of the school. When they landed, Mister Suga, a young man with silver short hair was waiting for them. Mister Suga’s quirk was based on comforting people and with a simple touch, he could appease the most terrific anger or the deepest fear. He was a wonderful teacher and Shouto loved him very much. Mister Suga’s husband, Daichi, was a police officer and Touya, like Hawks, liked to work with him.

Mister Suga wasn’t alone, the director was also there. She was a small blond-haired woman and Touya knew the majority of the kids were scared of her. As soon as they landed Mister Suga apologized.

“I’m terribly sorry Mister Todoroki, I don’t know what happened or how he could have entered-”

“It was me.”

The two heroes and the teacher looked at the director. The small woman narrowed her eyes and pointed to Touya. “Endeavor is a good hero, the second of our country, how dare you separate him from his own child? He did more for our country than you ever will, you should be thankful that man is your father.”

Touya clenched his fists. “My father sent my mom to a psychiatric hospital. My father beat me black and blue, my father abused my sister and my little brother. My father started to train my youngest brother at the age of four.”

The director didn’t flinch and continued her accusation, “And? He was preparing you and your siblings to be great heroes like him. He was preparing the new generation of heroes!”

“My father was training child soldiers to be able to beat All Might. He never cared about our country.”

“Liar!” The director shouted, “Liar!” and Mister Suga had to use his quirk to calm her down.

“My sincere apology about her. Shouto ran away an hour ago and I’m worried about him.”

Hawks whispered, “Should we call another hero for help?”

Touya shook his head. “No, I know where Shou is.”

— — —

Twenty minutes later Touya arrived at the park and it was empty. Touya advanced and crossed the park and started to walk in a less known way. After five minutes of walking, he found a small house tree. Touya, Hawks, and Masaru built it last summer and since then, Shouto, Katsuki, and Izuku adored playing in it. They called it their hero agency.

Touya climbed into it and knocked on the small wooden door. He let out a breath when he heard a small, “Touya?” He opened the door and found Shouto curled up against a wall. Shouto was hiding his face and was shaking with fear. “Banana?”

Touya let a small smile bloom on his face. “Apple.”

Shouto smiled and ran into Touya’s arms. Since his last case started, he and the boys came up with a password. They had to say the last thing they ate together and this morning,  Touya had prepared apple slides cut into small rabbits and banana pieces.

“I was scared.”

Touya tightens his hug. “I know, I’m sorry baby.”

Shouto let out a sob. “I thought he was going to take me away.”

“Never, me and Keigo will always fight for you, to keep you with us.” Touya put a kiss on the top of the boy’s hair. “I promise to you.”

“Promise on All Might.”

Touya snorted, “I promise on your All Might plushie, Keigo and I will always protect you.”

Shouto gasped and raised his head. “Natsuo! What if he’s going to take Natsuo?”

“Don’t worry baby, Keigo went to bring Natsu home.” He brushed his short hair, “Keigo and I will protect you two.”

— — —

Keigo was a bit anxious. He waited in front of the middle school’s gate and kept looking at every boy coming out. He looked at his phone and sighed of contentment when he saw Touya’s name appear on his notification and saw a picture of him and Shouto smiling at the camera with a small caption, “ He’s safe and we’re going home .”

Hawks sighed. One of his boys was home and he was waiting for the second one. Hawks swore if he saw one flame he would destroy him

When Natsuo passed the gate he saw the teen tense. One of his friends elbowed him and he saw the teen turning red. Since he started middle school, Natsuo had demanded that neither Touya nor Hawks wait for him in front of the gates since apparently, it was not cool

That little shit even begged for Hawks to drop him one block away to be sure no one would see him.

Hawks was very cool thank you very much. He was the coolest hero three years in a row and now a little fourteen-year-old shit had decided he wasn’t cool enough to be seen next to him.

Teenagers.

Natsuo walked quickly toward him and whispered. “Crackers.”

“Orange juice,” responded Hawks. Then when he saw his friends’ gaze on them Hawks couldn’t bring himself not to tease his boy. “My baby I’m so glad to see you again,” and pulled him into a thigh hug. “How was your day sweetie?”

“Kei I swear I won’t let you come to my volleyball game if you don’t let me go.”

“I’m the one fly you to.”

“And that’s because I’m the one who tells you the date and location.”

Hawks narrowed his eyes and ruffled Natsuo’s hair. “I swear little brat where is my baby boy who loved hugs and kisses and what did you do to him?”

Natsuo rolled his eyes, “Can we go home?”

“Hold me tight sweetie.”

Natsuo sighed again but hugged Keigo tight. They started flying across the town when Natsuo asked, “Why did you come? Everything is fine?”

He tried to pick Shouto from school.”

“Shit Shou is alright?”

“Yes, and your allowance will finish in the swear jar at his rate.”

Natsuo dramatically sighed, “You and Touya swear all the time!”

Hawks smiled, “We’re adults, and you have to show a good example for Shouto young man.”

Natsuo rolled his eyes, “Anyway I don’t know why you got worried. He doesn’t care about me. I’m the failure.”

“Hey!” Hawks suddenly stopped flying and looked at Natsuo’s eyes while the young teen avoided his gaze. “Sweetie? Natsuo look at me.” Hawks continued when Natsuo looked at him. “You’re not a failure and I don’t want to hear you say that about yourself. You’re brilliant-”

“I’m quirkless Keigo. I’m the ultimate failure for him. Of course, he doesn’t care about me.  He never did. I wasn’t even worth fighting. He didn’t even talk about me during the trial.”

Hawks felt anger burning in him but not because of Natsuo. It’s true that during the trial, Endeavor hadn’t even bothered asking about Natsuo and only concentrated on Shouto.

He remembers Natsuo's cries, holding him tight after the trial, asking between tears if he was worth loving.

“He’s wrong. He’s an idiot and he’s wrong. If he can’t see you then it’s his loss. Not yours. You’re brilliant, the top of your class, in hand-on-hand combat training you beat every single one of your classmates. You’re funny, kind, and the ace of the volleyball team. I’m so proud of you. Touya is proud of you. Fuyumi and Shouto are proud of you. We’re all proud of you and love you so much.”

Natsuo turned his gaze away and Hawks couldn’t stop himself from leaving a kiss on his cheek. “We love you so much. Now we’re going home.”

Thirty minutes later, Hawks and Natsuo passed their home’s front door and were welcomed by a small tornado. “Natsuo! Keigo!”

Keigo picked up the small boy, “Hey little flame, are you okay?”

Shouto nodded and warped his arms around Keigo’s neck. “I’m glad he didn’t take Natsuo away.”

Natsuo ruffled his little brother’s hair. “Don’t worry, Keigo and Touya will always protect us.”

Shouto grinned and Keigo left a loud kiss on his cheek. They walked to the kitchen and Touya was preparing snacks. He put a kiss on Natsuo’s forehead. “How was school?”

Natsuo winced, “I got a B on history.”

Touya widended his eyes, “Really? That’s great! You worked so hard for it and you got a C at your last one, you’re improved a lot, that’s great!”

Natsuo made a small smile, “Thanks.” He opened a drawer and picked up a red pen. He circled a date on the fridge’s calendar. “I have a game on the eighteenth.”

“Oh, against which school?” asked Hawks.

“Our rivals, I think we’re going to win.”

At first, Natsuo started football but last year he decided to drop it to start volleyball. Unlike what he thought, neither Keigo nor Touya were mad and still supported him. Hawks kept recording his games and like during his football games, Keigo and Touya were his loudest supporters. Despite their heroes' obligations, both of them made a point to always be there at every game.

Shouto from the living room asked, “Can someone help me, please? The TV remote is too high and The Adventures of All Mighty going to start!”

Keigo sighed with a smile and stole a kiss from his boyfriend. “Coming little flame! Hawks to the rescue!”

— — —

After Hawks put Shouto to sleep and made sure Natsuo had turned off his phone and was sleeping, he went back to the living room. Touya was reading papers and had something in his eyes that scared Hawks.

He saw fear in his beautiful blue eyes.

“What’s going on babe?” He sat next to him.

“He’s in his right.”

Keigo hummed. “Who?”

Him . According to the law, he’s in his right to pick Shouto from school.”

Hawks frowned, “But we’re his legal guardians.”

“Yeah but,” Touya passed a hand in his hair, “apparently, since he didn’t revoke his parental right, he’s still their father so he can. He can take them away from us.”

“Fuck.” Hawks looked at the papers. It couldn’t be true. It couldn’t be. Hawks and Touya signed everything, and every document was confirmed. They were Shouto and Natsuo’s legal guardians and he couldn’t hurt them anymore.

Touya sighed while looking at the document. “We need to call Eraserhead.”

— — —

The next day, Touya called the underground hero and agreed to meet. Two days later, the Aizawa-Yamada family was on their doorstep. Mic smiled, “Hi listeners! It’s been so long!”

Touya smiled back “Hello Mic, and Hello Shouta. Thank you for coming.” He looked down and saw a young boy with purple hair hiding behind the underground hero’s legs. He waved at him, “Hi Hitoshi, your dads talked about you a lot. Do you want to enter? Shouto, my little brother is eager to play with you.”

Hitoshi nodded and both Hizashi and Shouta smiled at him. Aizawa gently ruffled his purple hair. “Come on baby.”

Hitoshi grabbed his dad’s hand and the little family entered. Shouto was him, hidden behind Hawks’s legs. Keigo smiled, “Hi everyone, please enter, I’m sorry Natsuo isn’t here, he's spending the afternoon with Fuyumi.”

Mic smiled back, “It’s okay, how is he?”

“Good thank you, top of his class, and with his volleyball team they’re handing the prefecture title.”

“That’s great, congrats!” Mic looked at Shouto, “Hi little listener, it’s been a long time. Hitoshi baby you remembered Shouto?”

Hitoshi shyly nodded, “Do you still like All Might? I have my toys with me.”

Shouto’s face enlightened, “I have to show you mine too!”

And to the adults’s delight, the two kids started playing together. They sat in the living room and started talking watching Shouto and Hitoshi talking about their All Might’s toys.

“So, what did you want to talk about?” Something that Touya liked about Aizawa was he always went straight to the point.

Touya took a deep breath. “You adopted Hitoshi right?”

Aizawa frowned as Mic responded, “Yes we did it a bit before you got Shouto and Natuso under your care, why?”

This time it’s Hawks who asked his question, “How did his parents abandon their parental rights?”

Both Mic and Aizawa tensed his words and the underground hero glanced at the two boys to see if his son had heard. Fortunately, the two boys were too occupied with their toys to pay attention to the adult’s conversation.

Aizawa responded first, “His father didn’t recognize him. The mother had left him when she realized she was pregnant and after giving birth, abandoned Hitoshi too. According to her letter, the father was a criminal and his quirk was close to Hitoshi, he could brainwash people and use it to hurt them. She was afraid Hitoshi would have his quirk so she chose to leave him too.”

Mic nodded and took his husband’s hand in his. “Hitoshi was put in the system and went to a foster home. In four years, he did twelve different families, and those- those monsters put a.” Mic closed his eyes and reopened them. He whispered low enough for Hitoshi not to hear. “They put a muzzle on his baby face. He still has scars because of it.”

Hawks lowered his gaze. He could only understand Mic’s anger. When the HPSC took him, he too, had to wear a muzzle until he was completely silent. And even if they were tiny, Hawks could see scars on Mic’s cheeks and nose. The two blonde men knew the pain and suffering from the muzzle. He looked at Hitoshi shyly smiling and laughing and he couldn’t understand how adults could hurt such a small and cute boy and still be able to sleep at night.

Hawks would burn the country to the ashes if someone put a muzzle on one of his boys.

Aizawa asked, “Why do you ask?”

Touya sighed, “Last week, he tried to take Shouto from school and according to the law, he’s in his right.”

“If you wish to have full custody and full rights of the kids then you have to adopt them.”

Mic nodded, “It’s the safest way.”

Hawks took Touya’s hand in his. “Does that mean we had to go to a trial again?”

Aizawa nodded, “Eventually but that’s not the only condition.”

Touya frowned, “What’s the other one?”

The underground hero looked at him, “You have to get your parents to give up on their parental rights. Both of them.”

Hawks’s eyes widened, “That’s mean-”

Aizawa nodded. “You have to make him sign, but not only him.”

Touya felt desperation fall on him like the Damocles's sword. He hadn’t thought about that. He hadn’t thought about her. His father wasn’t the only person who had to give up on their right.

“My mom.” Touya swallowed the lump in his throat. “I have to make my mom sign too.”

An hour later, the little Aizawa-Yamada family was preparing to leave. Mic sighed, “Hitoshi, baby come on we’re leaving, take your toys.” Hitoshi nodded but didn’t move from his spot and continued to play just like the last two times his papa called after him.

Mic was about to intervene but Aizawa was quicker. He used his scarf to grab Hitoshi and wrap him in it. He carried the small boy in his arms. Hitoshi giggled as Mic exclaimed, “Shouta! You could have hurt our little listener!”

Hitoshi giggled, “Again!” as Shouto asked with pleading eyes, “Me too please.”

Mic shook his head, “No little listener, Shouta’s scarf is not a toy.”

Shouto gently shook Mic’s sleeve, “Hitoshi’s papa, can Hitoshi come with me to the park next Saturday, please? I will play with Kacchan and Zuku, they’re my friends and I’m sure they will like Hitoshi.”

Hitoshi looked at his dad, Aizawa who was still carrying him, “Please Dad, Shouto said they liked All Might too.”

Touya added, “They’re good boys, a little troublesome but good boys.” Touya knew he lost a couple of years of life every time those three kids played together, especially when he couldn’t hear any noise because there was nothing more scary than three silent children including one who could fucking bomb with his hands.

Mic responded with an apologetic smile, “I’m so sorry little listeners, we would have loved to but Hitoshi and us are going to see Hitoshi’s Uncle Oboro to spend the weekend with him. Maybe next time?”

Shouto just like Hitoshi deflated. Touya ruffled his little brother’s hair. “It’s okay baby, it will be for next time.”

The Aizawa-Yamade left waving goodbye and Touya grabbed his jacket. “I’m going to pick up Natsuo.”

Hawks nodded and the couple briefly kissed. “I’m giving Shou his bath.”

Touya left their home after hearing Shouto complaining and he couldn't help but smile. He was glad his baby felt comfortable enough to complain, whine, or even throw a tantrum. Two years ago, Shouto wouldn’t even complain when he was tired, Touya remembered him not understanding why he needed to nap or sleep at eight pm when before he would make him train until midnight.

Touya was so glad and proud of the path he had traveled. Healing was slow, Shouto still had nightmares because of their parents but Touya was proud to see him acting more like a six-year-old.

He drove to Fuyumi’s apartment and quickly climbed the stairs. He knocked twice and used his spare key to enter. His sister was about to call Natsuo when Touya cut her. “Don’t call him yet, I would like to talk to you before.”

Fuyumi seemed surprised, “Oh, of course, come here.” They went to the kitchen and Touya took a look in the living room. Natsuo was focused on the TV playing a video game. Touya felt proud when he saw Natsuo crushing the final boss. He smiled when he saw framed pictures of Fuyumi and her girlfriend Miruko.

They entered the kitchen and Fuyumi asked, “So what did you want to talk about?”

Touya smirked, “How are things with Rumi?”

Fuyumi rolled her eyes, “I won’t tell you anything. I’m not going to let you tease her.”

“Then what’s the point of my best friend going out with my sister?”

Fuyumi prepared two cups of tea and they sat at the kitchen table. “So what did you really want to talk about?”

Touya took a sip of his tea and looked at the pink-colored water, “ He tried to take Shouto from school last week.”

“I know. Nats told me. Can we do something about it?”

“Yeah, we,” Touya licked his lips, “We have to adopt the boys and for that, he has to revoke his parental rights.”

Fuyumi tilted her head and slightly frowned, “I’m sensing a but.”

“But, we have to make Mom sign too.”

Fuyumi swore, “Shit.”

“Yeah, I know.”

Silence fell in the small kitchen. Fuyumi got an apartment thanks to her scholarship. Since she left the house and decided to become a teacher and not his assistant, their father cut Fuyumi out of their family's money. Fuyumi worked two jobs at the same time while going to the university. Things had been hard, sometimes Fuyumi didn’t even have enough money to buy food and yet, Touya never saw his sister so happy since she left. Every time his sister needed help, Touya was there. But now Fuyumi wasn’t alone. For the past year, she had been dating Rumi and was happier than ever.

“What are you going to do?”

“I don’t fucking know.” Touya sighed and passed his hand in his hair. “It’s not fair for her.”

“I know but right now, Mom can’t take care of the boys, even less protect them. Only you and Keigo can.”

“I know.”

Touya crossed his arms and silence fell again. In the distance, he heard Natsuo screaming with joy. He had finally passed his level. He had been stuck on it for the past week and even Hawks and Touya didn’t succeed in passing it.

Touya whispered, “Sometimes, I wonder if I made the right choice.”

Fuyumi turned her head so fast that Touya thought she was going to have a whiplash. “What the fuck did you say?”

It was rare to hear Fuyumi swear. Hawks often said Fuyumi was the golden child while Touya was the rebellious one. It was partially true that Fuyumi was calmer than him, but she was as much of a rebel, only her rebel acts were less direct but devastating. She bought Natsuo’s first console with their father’s card and hid it. She got Shouto’s All Might first toy. She helped their mom look at hotels where they could run even if their mom wasn’t ready yet to leave their hell. She patched Touya when he screamed Touya needed to suffer from his consequence. It was Fuyumi who convinced Touya didn’t need him to be a good hero.

Touya had been the first to run away, but Fuyumi had been the one who planted the seed of freedom.

Fuyumi frowned, “So what, you regret taking them in?”

“No!” Touya exclaimed back, “I’m so fucking happy to have them but sometimes-,” Touya rested his face in his hands, “Sometimes I wonder if they would be happier in a normal civilian family. A family who is always be there-”

“You’re kidding right?” Fuyumi’s tone was calm, making Touya slowly raise his face and see his calm sister furious, “Nats told me at least one of you two are always there to help him with homework. You are both there at every volleyball game. You take turns to bring Shouto to the park so he can see his friends. You never missed a birthday or parent-teacher conference. I saw you refusing a meeting with Edgeshot your favorite hero because it was your weekly movie night with the boys. And you tell me you think you’re doing a bad job?”

“It’s just-”

“It’s just what Touya?” Fuyumi was arms crossed and didn’t bat an eye. The underground hero felt naked and scared under his sister’s gaze. “What are you afraid of?”

“What if I end up like him? What if I hurt them like him? What if-” Touya took a deep breath, “What if Mom becomes sane again and hates me for stealing them away?”

Fuyumi’s anger disappeared as quickly as it came. “Oh, Touya.” She put her hand on his scarred hand. “You will never become him. You will never hurt them.”

“What if-”

“What it what Touya? Do you want to train Shouto until he throws up?”

“What the fuck?”

Fuyumi continued, “Do you want to beat up Natsuo for not having a quirk? For failing a test?”

“Of course not!”

“Do you want to isolate Shouto and burn him-”

Touya stood up so quickly his chair fell on the ground and shouted, “Are you fucking insane?”

Fuyumi calmly spoke, “No, I’m not insane, and you’re not either. That’s what he did to them. And we both know you’re not going to hurt them. You’re not him. And for mom, she will understand. She will know this was the only way to protect them.”

Touya bit his lips and was about to respond when he heard a small voice.

“I agree with Yumi.”

The two adults turned their gaze to see Natsuo in the doorframe holding his game controller.

“I’m happy with you and Keigo. I know sometimes I don’t show it but I swear I am. And I wouldn’t want anyone else. My friends like to tease me about you but every time I told them that at least I have people who love me enough to fight the number two hero of Japan.”

Touya felt something melt inside him. “Oh, sweetie.” He quickly walked to him and hugged him. “I’m happy with you too. Me and Kei are so happy with you.”

“You’re not like Father and I agree with Yumi. Mom will understand.”

— — —

Touya got out of the car and closed the door. He looked at the hospital and took a deep breath. He walked inside and saluted the nurses and the receptionist. He climbed the stairs toward the third floor. He could have taken the elevator but, Touya was claustrophobic since the age of eight. The reason? He locked him in a closet for an entire night simply because Touya hadn’t been able to produce ice.

And someone people dared to call him a good dad to Touya’s face.

Usually, Touya went alone to see his mom. Sometimes Keigo or Fuyumi accompanied. Since the incident, neither Natsuo nor Shouto had seen her. The doctors said it wasn’t safe either for them or her. But today he was alone. Keigo had brought Natsuo to his volleyball training and Shouto to the park so he could play with Katsuki and Izuku but Touya didn’t mind. He knew he had to do this alone.

When he arrived at the third floor, he walked down a hallway and saluted the nurses in their office. Then Touya went to the 308 room holding a Rindou’s bouquet. His mom’s favorite flowers.

He knocked twice and heard a soft “Come in.”

Touya took a deep breath and entered not knowing in what state his mom would be. Sometimes, she remembered the incident and begged to see Shouto to clean him. Sometimes she didn’t even remember marrying their father.

His mom smiled, “Hi.”

Touya smiled back, “Hi.”

His mom sat on her bed. The room was small, with only a bed, a table with a chair, and one window with a small bathroom. “Do you want to sit?”

“Sure.” Touya handed the flowers, “This is for you.”

“Oh.” His mom was surprised, “thank you.” She put the flower in a vase on the table and sat back next to him. “This is very kind. What’s your name?”

Touya pinched his lips, trying to keep his tears for him, and clenched his fist. “Touya, my name is Touya.”

“Really? That’s funny.” His mom passed her hand on her belly. “I’m expecting and my husband and I chose that name for our son.”

“That’s a good choice.”

His mom looked at him. “You have beautiful blue eyes, I hope my son got them too.”

As a teen, Touya hated his eyes. He hated the turquoise color simply because it came from him . He hated seeing his eyes, seeing his face every time he looked in the mirror. But with the years and with Keigo’s love, he learned to love them and now, he no longer associated his eyes with him but with his baby. Shouto liked his turquoise eye and loved telling people it came from him, Touya, his big brother. Now every time Touya sees his eyes in the mirror, he doesn’t think of him but of his beloved baby brother.

“You look sad.” His mom brushed his white hair away from his forehead. “Why? Did something happen?”

Touya nodded, “Yeah.” he hummed, “It’s a bit complicated.”

“We can talk about it if you want. My husband often says I’m great at giving advice.” She smiled. “You can tell me everything.”

“Well, my father deeply hurted my mom. And now my mom can’t take care of my siblings so I took them in with my partner. The thing is my father tried to take one of them back and I’m afraid he could do it again.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry you have to go through that.”

“To prevent it happen again, I have to adopt them but to do that my parents have to revoke their parental rights. And I’m afraid my mom would be angry at me after it.”

His mom sightly frowned. “Why would she be mad? You’re protecting your siblings, she would be proud of you. You’re not doing anything wrong Touya. If anything,” she smiled, “I hope my boy will grow up just like you. You’re a kind brave boy.” His mom cupped his face, “I know your mom loves you and will be proud of you.”

Touya felt a tear rolling down his cheek and whispered. “Thanks, Mom.”

His mom tilted her head, “Sorry?”

“I said thank ‘mam.” Touya tried to smile so as not to worry her. “Thanks ‘mam, thanks for your kind words.”

His mom smiled, “Of course. Now go see your mom, I’m sure she’s dying to meet you as much I want to meet my own little Touya.”

“Right, I should go.” Touya stood up and opened the door. “Goodbye, Mom.”

His mom smiled and waved, “Goodbye Touya.”

Touya closed the door and rested his forehead on it. He let himself cry for a minute and wiped his tears. He went to the nurses and gently asked, “Hi, I’m supposed to meet Dr Nakao do you know where is her office?”

The nurse, Magne smiled, “Left hallway, she’s waiting for you, Mister Touya.”

Touya thanked her and walked to the office. Inside, Dr Nakao was waiting for him. The doctor was a tall woman with a fox tail and fox ears. They greeted each other and Touya sat on one of the chairs.

“Did you see your mother yet?”

“I did, this time she was reviving her first pregnancy.”

“Nothing major happened?”

“No thank you.”

Dr Nakao nodded and wrote a small sentence on a white paper probably to add it to his mother’s file. “About what you asked, I can’t make a patient sign a paper without their informed consent.”

“So you mean to tell me the monster who put my mom in a psychiatric hospital can take my little brother away from me?”

“No, I didn’t say that. What I can do, is attest your mother can no longer take care of your brothers. Since your mother hurt your brother Shouto, I can attest to him being in danger if he was under her care. In her mind, she associated Shouto with your father-”

“So now my mom hates my brother, wonderful.”

“Can you stop cutting me, Mister Todoroki?” Dr Nakao was calm but firm. She waited for Touya to nod to continue. “Your mother became sick from your father’s abuse, like I was trying to explain, she associated Shouto with your father but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love him. She rarely spoke about him but every time, your mother always spoke fondly about him. There is no doubt of your mother’s love. I know my patient Touya, and I can assure you, your mom loves her four children very much.”

Touya wiped a tear and nodded. Ten minutes later, Touya left Dr. Nakao’s office holding the certificate in hand. He drove back and chose to nap, drained by all the emotions. When he woke up, he started preparing dinner. Since the boys arrived, they had to start a routine. Shouto needed twelve hours of sleep, so they decided to eat dinner around 7:30 p.m. to be sure they could eat tranquility. Then, they would give him his bath and sleep, but not without a bedtime story, of course.

Thirty minutes later the front opened and Touya felt a little tornado run to him.

“Touya!” Shouto ran into the kitchen, still wearing his coat and shoes, not caring about Keigo trying to stop him. “Kacchan has a magic earpiece like you when you’re on a mission!”

Touya raised an eyebrow, “What?”

Shouto nodded, “Yes and it’s the same color as All Might, can I have one too please?”

Keigo arrived in the room and ruffled his hair. “It’s not an earpiece. It’s a hearing aid.” Keigo chuckled at Shouto’s puzzled look. “It means Katsuki has difficulties hearing so now he needs a hearing aid to be able to hear what his mama and papa tell him.”

“Oh.” Shouto looked back at Touya, “And now Kacchan has a sister and Zuku has a dad but a kind one and a big brother now. Can I go watch my cartoon please?”

Touya blinked and tried to process all the information Shouto just told him in less than ten seconds. They only missed one Saturday at the park, how the fuck could everything have happened in two weeks? Keigo thankfully chuckled and ruffled his hair again. “Take off your coat, and your shoes, wash your hands, and then you can ask again.”

Shouto nodded and went back into the hallway to hang his coat and put his shoes away.

Keigo stole a kiss from his frozen boyfriend. “Everything is alright?”

“What the hell happened during those two weeks?”

Keigo chuckled. “A lot. First, Katsuki finally got his appointment with the Otologist.”

“Yeah, and he’s what half deaf?”

“For now he’s hard hearing. Mitsuki said the doctors gave him until his twenty years old to become deaf. Probably younger if he wants to be a hero.”

“Fuck.” Touya crossed his arms and rested his hip against the kitchen counter. “How did they notice?”

Hawks sighed, “Multiple times when they called him or talked to him it was as if he ignored them. She would call him to eat dinner and he continued to play. So one day Masaru came behind him and whispered do you want an All Might’s toy ? He didn’t respond so Masaru asked again but in front of him and Katsuki yelled and jumped everywhere.”

“Shit. What about that new sister? I didn’t notice Mistuki was pregnant.” Touya was starting to get worried about his mental health if he hadn’t realized one of his brother’s best friend’s mom went to a full pregnancy and didn’t see anything.

Keigo snorted, “Because she didn’t. One night they came back from their fashion enterprise and found a small blond girl covered with blood.”

“Shit, is she okay?”

“Yeah, turns out, Himiko, the little girl’s quirk is blood-related. Her parents abandoned her because of it so the Bakugo took her in. She’s the boys' age and it’s funny she looks like Katsuki’s twins.”

“And Izuku having a new dad and big brother?”

Keigo smirked, “Inko accepted the date.”

“No fucking shit! I refuse to believe you! Really?”

“Yep.”

Touya sighed. He had lost twenty bucks to Keigo and Mituski but a part of him was glad. Inko deserved to be happy and she met a tall blond man a month ago in a cafe before her shift at the hospital. Mistuki bullied her until she asked for his number.

“The guy already has a son?”

Keigo nodded, “Inko said he’s a bit older than the kids, around twelve but Izuku already loves him so much.”

Natsuo, who came back with Keigo and Shouto, passed his head in the door frame. “Sorry to cut you two but can someone help me with my math please?”

Keigo and Touya shared a look and Touya shook his head. “You’re the one good at math, not me.”

Keigo nodded, “Come on sweetie, time for the Ace and Hawks to defeat the villains X and Y!”

Natsuo rolled his eyes but laughed and both Keigo and Toya took that as a win. Later after dinner and the two kids were washed and in bed, Touya was on the kitchen table looking at bills and his hero planning. Keigo entered and put a kiss on his white hair. “What’s wrong babe?”

“The lawyer is gonna be so fucking expensive. And Natsuo’s birthday is coming soon so we need money for the new video games. If I triple my shift here and here and double it the other days, it could work but I’m not sure.”

Keigo looked above his shoulder, “I can double mine too so you don’t-”

“No,” Touya shook his head, “You don’t double your work, I do.”

Keigo snorted, “What? Why can you and I can’t?”

“My shifts are less tiring than yours.”

“Are you kidding? Touya last time you doubled your shift to pay the lawyers two years ago you were so tired you fell asleep on a rooftop in the middle of the day. You were lucky not a single villain caught you!”

“I will be fine! Just let me handle it for fuck sake!”

Without realizing it both of the men’s tones increased. “Stop Touya! You’re not alone in this!”

“You’re not the one who had to go to see his mom in a fucking hospital today!” Touya smashed his hand on the kitchen table, “They’re my-”

“They’re our kids.”

Keigo’s four words felt like an ice bucket for Touya. Keigo was shaking and Touya could feel his anger.

“They’re our kids. I’m their legal guardian as much as you. You’re not alone in this Touya so stop acting like you’re carrying the weight of our world on your shoulders.”

Touya bit his bottom lip and felt tears coming to his eyes. He was about to respond when he heard a small voice. “Why are you fighting?”

Both Touya and Keigo turned their heads and saw Shouto in the doorframe holding his plushie. “Baby, what are you doing out of bed?” Touya quickly went by his side and brushed his hair, “Did we wake you up? I’m so sorry baby.”

Shouto shyly answers, “You forgot my goodnight kiss.”

Touya’s eyes widened. For the night routines, usually one of them took care of Shouto while the other one made sure Natsuo hadn’t hidden one of his consoles under his pillow and was really asleep but both Keigo and Touya made sure to kiss goodnight both of the boys. Did Touya really forget, his mind too clouded by their problems?

“Really? Fudging shot I’m so sorry baby, come here.” Touya hugged Shouto tight and started to loudly kiss all over his baby face. Keigo felt a smile blooming on his face hearing Shouto giggle and seeing Touya smile. Touya was famous for swearing but was always careful not to swear in front of Shouto.

Touya carried him back to bed without stopping kissing him. Keigo walked behind him and glanced into Natsuo’s room. Touya didn’t notice his lover entered the teen’s room and put his youngest brother in bed. He tucked him and put a final kiss on the bump of his nose making the six-year-old giggle.

“I’m so sorry for forgetting the night kiss baby.”

“It’s okay,” Shouto shyly asked, “Why were you and Keigo fighting?”

Touya sighed, “Because I’m an idiot and I forgot something but thankfully Kei reminded me. I’m sorry if it scared you.” He brushed his little brother’s hair.

Shouto played with his All Might plushie ear, “It’s true you saw Mom today?”

Touya swallowed, “It’s true.”

Shouto bit his bottom lips, “Did she talk about me?”

Touya brushed his hair and cupped his face, “Mom asked me to tell you she loved so much.”

Shouto beamed, “Really?”

Touya smiled, “Of course, Mom loves you so so much.” Touya came closer and rubbed his nose against Shouto’s nose. “I told her you took an inch this month and she said you must be so tall now.”

“Do you think I will be taller than you one day?”

Touya faked his shock, “Oh my All Might! My baby wants to be taller than me?” and started trickling him. Shouto burst into laughter and eventually, Touya stopped to let his baby breathe. “Mom loves you, never forget that. And Keigo, Natsuo, Fuyumi and I love you very much too. Now sleep well, baby.”

“I love you too Touya. Goodnight Touya.”

“Goodnight baby.”

Touya left the room turned on the nightstand and saw little stars shining on the bedroom’s ceiling. Shouto fell asleep and Touya rubbed his hand on his face. He passed in front of Natsuo’s room and stopped when he heard his little brother’s voice.

“I don’t care about the video games. I promise.”

Touya glanced into the room and saw his lover sitting on the bed talking to the teen. “Nats-”

“I don’t care Keigo. I don’t want it if it makes you and Touya overwork yourself. I already have enough games I promise.”

“We only want to make you happy Nats.”

“I’m happy with you two. It would be the best birthday for me if I simply spent the day with you two, Yumi and Shou even if I don’t have gifts. I just don’t want you to fight because of me. Don’t become like Mom and him please.”

“We will never become like your mom and him. I will never hurt Touya and Touya will never hurt me.”

Touya gently pushed the door revealing his presence. “It’s true mini-me.” He advanced and rested his hand on Keigo’s shoulder and the winged hero immediately put his hand on his lover’s hand. “Keigo and I love each other so much. It was a stupid fight and me being stupid. I’m sorry if it scared you.”

Natsuo looked at them and Touya could feel the teen was trying to see if one of them lied. Hawks must have sensed too because he added, “We’re not lying to you, we will never lie to you.”

Natsuo bit his bottom lips and nodded. “So no fighting?”

Both of the men nodded. “Promise.”

They wished the teen goodnight after they tucked him and walked out of the room. Keigo closed the door and sighed. They walked back to the kitchen in silence and when Touya saw the papers he gently took Keigo’s wrist.

“Please Touya not now I’m tired-”

Touya wrapped his arms around his lover and rested his head on his shoulder. “I’m sorry.”

Keigo melted in his lover’s embrace and hugged him back. His red wings enveloped them like a cocoon, and Touya relaxed; he knew nothing bad could happen while he was sheltered by his angel’s wings.

“I’m sorry too.”

“I shouldn’t have yelled. You’re right. They’re not just my little brothers, they’re our kids. We will adopt them together and fight him together.”

“Yeah,” Keigo smiled, “because we’re kick-ass guardians.”

Touya smiled, “And we’re going to be kick-ass parents.”

— — —

Touya was watching him above the street. He was on the top of a building roof watching Endeavor talking to Burnin. With his earpiece in place, he could listen to the police radio station waiting for the signal.

“Edgeshot and Compress are required for a rescue mission in town in sector eight over.”

In the Endeavor agency, Touya knew all the employees respected his father just like he knew all of them showed support when the trial started. He even got some of the employees, sidekicks, and people Touya had known since he was a toddler calling and harassing him. Telling him to drop the charge and that he should be ashamed of his action, that he should be grateful for having Endeavor as his father.

Grateful his ass.

Slowly he felt someone arriving behind him. Touya didn’t move and kept his eyes on Endeavor.

“Miruko is required for a robbery in sector three over.”

“All Might, is everything alright?”

The number one hero sat next to Touya. “I was going to ask you the same thing, son.”

It was weird. He hated when people called him son especially him but it never bothered him coming from All Might. It wasn’t patronizing, only comforting.

“I’m fine.”

All Might nodded. “I heard about what happened. I’m sorry, is there anything I can do to help?”

Touya sadly smiled, “You can’t save everyone All Might.”

“No, but I can try.” All Might sighed, “After the trial, I can’t help but feel a part of your suffering is my fault. I thought our rivalry was beneficial for both of us if only I knew.”

“It wasn’t your fault, All Might. If it hadn’t been you, he would have thrown his hate at someone else.”

Silence fell between them and his earpiece buzzed again. “Best Jeannist and Ingenium are required in sector seventh, over.”

“How ironic.” All Might break the silence, making Touya tear his gaze from his father to look at the hero. “He envied me for being stronger while he had the only thing I couldn’t have. A family. And now that I can finally start my own, I can’t understand why on earth he could have hurt his own wife and kids.”

Touya blinked, “You have a family?” No one, no journalist, not even heroes knew anything about All Might’s personal life. All Might fiercely protect his secret identity and his family. And with the amount of missions All Might was doing, Touya didn’t even know if he had a family.

All Might smiled, “I have a son. He’s twelve years old. He’s my late mentor’s grandson. Unfortunately, her son and daughter-in-law passed when the little boy got his quirk. Heroes found him walking on the street covered in blood. We adopted each other six months after that. He’s funny and smart. He loves playing video games with his friend Shuichi. His name is Tenko.”

Touya smiled back, “I’m sure my kid would love him. My older one loves video games too.”

All Might nodded, “Maybe one day they could meet. And I met a woman in a café, she has a son, he’s six years old, the cutest boy. Very hyperactive too. I’m sure you could help me and give me advice.”

Touya chuckled, “Yeah I know a thing or two about six years old.”

Touya’s earpiece buzzed again. “All Might is required in sector eight, over.”

“All Might-”

The hero sighed, “I know.” He stood up and smiled at Touya, “It was nice talking to you. Call me if you need anything Touya, I’ll be there.”

Touya watched the hero leave and in the back of his mind, he knew All Might would be there in the second if he called. Then he heard it. “Hawks arrived on sector thirteen for patrol, over.”

Touya smiled. Time to show off.

As soon as he landed on the ground Endeavor spoke without looking at him. “I thought you won’t have the courage to come. After all, you’re the most coward between my three children.”

Touya clenched his fist. “Four. You have four children. Natsuo didn’t stop being your children the day the doctor announced he wouldn’t have a quirk.”

Endeavor snorted. “I do not care about it. What do you have in your hands? You’re finally giving me Shouto back?”

Touya knew he had to keep his calm and couldn’t let his anger explode but at the same ,he wanted nothing more than to break his father’s nose. “It’s not it, his name is Natsuo and I will never give you back Shouto’s guardianship!” He walked quickly toward him and shoved the papers against his torso. “You’re going to sign those papers and revoke your parental rights. You’re never ever touching Shouto or Natsuo again.”

Endeavor frowned and narrowed his eyes. Touya could feel the atmosphere temperature increase. “Who do you think you are boy?”

“I’m Touya Todoroki, the pro hero Bonfire and most importantly parent of Natsuo and Shouto Todoroki and I’ll do anything for them.”

Endeavor’s face twisted with rage and was about to burn Touya but his flame disappeared. Endeavor quickly hid his panic and narrowed his eyes. “You don’t even have the balls to come alone, you need Eraser’s help.”

“Sign the papers or I swear on All Might, tomorrow morning, every journal will have the proofs of abuse. You were paranoid enough to put cameras in our house to be sure we wouldn’t run away, now every Japanese citizen will see you beat Mom, me, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shouto on TV. So Number two, are you ready to lose your legacy and reputation?”

“This is not over.”

Touya smirked, “It is, believe me. You will never hurt us again.”

— — —

Touya arrived home almost an hour after talking to him . He closed the front door and let himself slide against the door until he was sat on the ground. He buried his face into his hands and started laughing.

He heard footsteps coming his way and a voice he knew too well shouting across the room.

“Kei? I think Touya became crazy.”

Touya raised his head and smiled so hard his cheeks were hurting him. “Don't worry mini-me, I’m not insane.”

Natsuo raised an eyebrow, “Yeah well only crazy people like pineapple on pizza.”

Keigo arrived and ruffled Natsuo’s hair, “Sweetie is right. Hey babe, did it work?”

Touya bit his bottom lip but couldn’t hide his smile. He showed them the signed papers. “Everything went all along.”

Natsuo’s eyes widened, “So he won’t hurt us anymore?”

Touya stood up and cupped Natsuo’s face, “Never again.” and put a kiss on his forehead.

Shouto appeared from the kitchen, “Is Touya home?”

Touya smiled, “Yeah baby, I’m home and tomorrow we will go to the court so Keigo and I can adopt you and Nats.”

Shouto’s eyes started sparkling, “And we will be a family?”

“Oh baby,” Touya picked him up and kissed his cheek. He pulled Natsuo into a hug and Keigo exclaimed, “Hey don’t forget me!” and wrapped the little family with his wings. Touya kissed Shouto’s cheeks again. “We’re a family baby.”

No one knew how long the hug lasted but none of them cared. They were happy all together. Later during the movie night, Touya whispered, “Did you get everything too?”

Keigo smiled, “Yep, I got in the house, and took all the camera’s records. I also took Nats’s video games he didn’t let us pick and Shouto’s binkie.”

Touya rested his head on Keigo’s shoulder, “You don’t know how glad I am that Jin isn’t a villain.”

Keigo snorted, “Same. Even if he wants to prove I took the record, a lot of civilians and heroes can attest I was in sector thirteen.”

Touya smiled and looked at the two kids. Tomorrow he and Keigo will adopt them and he won’t be able to hurt them. Never again.

— — —

Twelve years later.

Touya ran and passed the UA’s gates quickly. He ran as fast as he could not caring about his burning lungs or his legs begging him to stop. He couldn’t be late. He couldn’t.

He finally arrived and sat on the fourth row next to his husband. “Please tell me I didn’t miss him.”

Keigo smiled, “It’s okay babe, you only missed Nezu’s speech.”

Natsuo titled his head, “You were nearly late old man.” making Fuyumi elbowed him, “Be kind, Touya just rescued three civilians.” Next to them, their Mom, Rei chuckled. It’s been a year since she was officially out of the psychiatric hospital. She healing slowly. When she remembered everything, she told Touya how proud of him she was and cried when Shouto told her he wasn’t mad at her.

Touya felt a small tap on his shoulder, he looked behind and saw Mituski and Masaru, Katsuki and Himiko’s parents. Mitsuki smiled at him, “We’re glad you’re here, I almost thought you were going to miss it.”

Touya smiled back, “I will never miss this, how is Inko?”

Mitsuki snorted and pointed at her best friend, the small green-haired woman was bawling her eyes out but Touya couldn’t blame her. Today, the 3-A class was graduating.

Aizawa started calling the kids' names and clapped as hard as he could when it was Katsuki’s turn. Masaru started crying as Mistuki yelled how proud she was. Then Himiko passed making Masaru cry even more. Touya felt himself a little emotional. He still remembered the day he met the little Kacchan and little Himiko. Small but fierce. Touya had felt proud when Himiko asked to go under his guidance for her first internship. Of course, he had agreed.

Touya tried to see Shouto but his baby was focused on the ceremony. A couple of students passed and then it was finally Izuku’s turn. Inko bawled her eyes out even more and Touya couldn’t stop himself from whistling. He was proud to see that quirkless boy becoming one of the greatest heroes. Tenko his older brother was also here cheering his baby brother. All Might tried to hide his tears but Touya knew how proud the man was of his son.

Keigo took his hand in his and whispered, “I’m so proud of him.”

Touya smiled, “Me too.”

Students passed and finally, and finally , it was Shouto’s turn.

“Shouto Himura.”

Both Keigo and Touya stood up and let their happiness explode. After they adopted Shouto, Touya decided with his siblings to change their last name for their Mom’s maiden name. When Shouto climbed the stage, they yelled and clapped as hard as they could. Shouto, who hadn’t realized Touya had arrived, beamed and showed his diploma.

His baby had grown into a man Touya was proud to call son.

Shouto fell into his lovers’ arms and both Katsuki and Izuku held him in a tight hug while Himiko was talking to her girlfriend Ochaco.

Touya felt tears rolling down his cheeks and looked at Keigo. His husband was also crying and they both laughed at each other. They hugged and watched Shouto smiling.

The last time they cried with joy was during Natsuo’s graduation. Both Keigo and Touya had been so proud of them. He remembered when he had carried them at the maternity after their mom brought them to the world. He remembered everything. The cries, the smiles, the laughs.

Healing had been slow and hard but they were happy now.

Shouto still had nightmares, Natsuo flinched at loud noises, Fuyumi hated the dark and yells and Touya still hated close space but they were getting better.

Katsuki and Izuku confronted and wiped Shouto’s tears. Tenko was careful and cuddled Natsuo when he needed to. Mirko always kept a light on in their home. Keigo loved flying in the sky holding his precious husband.

Healing was slow and hard but they were happy and like Keigo, he wasn’t alone anymore.

After the ceremony, Keigo and Touya passed next to Aizawa and Mic and the blond was holding their son Hitoshi crying and yelling how proud they were about their son while Eri, their daughter was crying too and Aizawa had his quirk activated avoiding Mic exploding everyone's ears.

They found Shouto kissing his boyfriends and Keigo wrapped him in a tight hug. Inko hugged her son while Tenko ruffled his brother’s hair. “I can’t wait to go on a rescue mission with you little brother.” Izuku smiled back, “We already went on a mission together but this time I won’t be your trainee anymore.”

Masaru and Mituski hugged their children tight too. Rei shyly expressed her pride and Fuyumi and Natsuo were the next in line to congratulate Shouto. Touta waited until everyone had celebrated his baby to wrap him in a hug.

“I’m so proud of you.” Touya left a kiss on Shouto’s temple.

“Thank you.”

Touya felt tears rolling down his cheeks again but he didn’t care. He cupped his baby’s face. “You remember years ago, you told me I was your favorite hero. Do you remember what I said?”

Shouto smiled, “You said I was your hero but I wasn’t a hero at the time.”

“That’s where you’re wrong baby, you’re a hero, you've always been and always will. You’re my hero Shouto.”

Later they went to a restaurant to celebrate their babies’ graduation. The Himura, Midoriya, and Bakugo families were all together, cheering for their kids growing up.

Touya smiled when he felt Keigo wrap an arm around his shoulders. “A penny for your thoughts babe?”

Touya watched Fuyumi and their mom talking and smiling at each other, Natsuo talking to his boyfriend Tenko and Shouto smiling with his two boyfriends. Everyone was happy, smiling and in peace.

“You were right. We’re kick-ass parents.”

Keigo snorted, “Of course we are. I’m so glad I met you and I took the courage to talk to you. I’m so happy with you.”

“I’m happy with you too, you saved me my angel and with you we saved them.”

They shared a kiss and spent the nights talking, smiling, and laughing with their family and friends. Touya and Keigo watched their two babies grow into two brilliant men and they were so proud of him.

Toya couldn’t wait for his first mission with his favorite pro hero Shouto.

Notes:

I found my new obsessions and my new hc, Toga being adopted by the Bakugo and Katsuki and Toga growing up as siblings. I need more of them. Just like I need more of Tenko and Izuku being brothers.

Izuku still has OFA and became a pro hero. Shouto, Katsuki and he opened an agency. Toga became the best rescue hero of her generation.

I loved writing that fic and I hope you liked reading it.

Thank you for reading
