Summary
Even as his hands work to get his suit on, his armor attached, everything he needs to try to combat this, his bones have adopted the chill he's come to associate with the knowledge that everything is about to go sideways. There's a second where he thinks to go this alone. To not involve anyone else in what has the potential to end in the exact same kind of flames that consumed Jason so many years ago.
He stands in the cave, before the array of his screens, and feels like the world is spinning. Like he alone has control over the way the whole world will end.
One breath and then another and finally his hand moves up to his comm, switches it to the emergency channel, and calls in all hands on deck.
