The titans had been fighting against a new villain that had emerged. Some mad scientist type that tried to make crazy inventions which failed like 90% of the time. So a pretty normal Tuesday.
Dick had been giving orders to everyone around him and they had finally managed to infiltrate the crazy villain’s lab.
From across the room he caught the eye of his boyfriend, Wally West. He was wearing that cocky smirk as usual while he took down a few goons.
God, it was almost mesmerizing to watch him. Even after dating for almost a year, Dick still couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that he was dating Wally. Wally was just so perfect.
They had back the scientist back into a corner. He practically had no where left to escape. Now all they had to do was was catch him and turn him over to the police.
The guy was fiddling with some machine while muttering incoherently as he backed away. He shakily pointed the gun at them and tried pulling the trigger. Nothing happened. He cursed under his breath and switched between person to person still trying to get it to work.
Seeing as it didn’t work and was actually harmless, Dick continued advancing. The guy turned the gun on him and tried pulling trigger over and over again. Dick was about to reach him- a blinding light shot out right at him.
The last thing he remembers is the “Dick!” being yelled in the unmistakable voice that was Wally’s as a yellow and red blur covered him.

Robin had been having a pretty average day. Wake up. Have breakfast. And then head down to the common areas to find something to do.
Currently he had just finished a sparring session with Aqualad. Artemis was practicing her aim with Kid Flash watching from near by. Conner and M’gann were in the lounge watching a movie and spending some time together.
Just as he had sat down, a sudden blinding light appeared in the middle of the room. It pulled everyone’s attention to it. Just as it dimmed down, it was replaced by two figures lying on the floor.
Everyone quickly ran towards it. Kid Flash, being a speedster, was the first to reach it. Followed by Artemis, Aqualad and himself.
He stared at the two men on the ground. They were both unconscious. One of them was wearing an overly bright red, green and yellow outfit, had dark black hair and was wearing a domino mask covering his eyes.
Meanwhile, the other one’s outfit was mostly yellow with a bit of red and had a mop of ginger hair. His eyes remained closed so you couldn’t tell what color they were. Regardless both of them looked awfully familiar to…
“Is that us?” Kid flash voiced his thought staring at them wide-eyed. It couldn’t be. But the similarities were uncanny. Other than a few minor changes here and there, they looked exactly the same.
“We can talk about that later. Currently, we need to get these two medical attention. Make sure they aren’t injured.” Aqualad said, the reasonable one as usual.
“And I’ll contact Batman to come and figure this mess out” Robin said. They all nodded and tried to get the two men to medbay while Robin went to find the nearest computer.

They had all gathered in the medbay. Kid Flash stared at the other him who was passed out. M’gann and Conner had joined them all. Robin had also quickly come back with Batman appearing soon after.
The other him woke with a start. He was breathing heavily and looking around. Everyone rushed back to stand beside him.
“Where am I?” Wally asked shakily as he frantically looked around as if searching for something.
“Calm down. We’ll explain everyth-“ Batman was interrupted as other him abruptly stood up but was not even able to keep his balance properly before grabbing onto a bedside table.
Wally’s eyes searched through them all again before landing on Robin. He stilled for a moment before he shook his head. “You’re not Robin. Where’s…Where is Di-Rob? Where is Robin?” He asked again.
Kid Flash looked towards Robin confused. Okay what did this guy even mean by that. That was clearly Robin. Hopefully Batman was able to explain some things.
“Your friend is fine. We can take you to meet him. But first, can you tell us how you got here?” Batman said. That seemed to calm other him down a little. He sat back down on the bed. It seems his mind finally registered everything and everyone else around him.
“I-I don’t know. There was this weird light. And the next thing I know, I’m here.” The boy finally answered after a moment. His double seemed to be intently staring at him now. That wasn’t something you saw everyday.
Batman lets out a contemplative hum and turns to look at something on the computer again. When he turned back he finally said, “ I took a few scans of you while you were passed out. Standard procedure. I have reason to believe you aren’t from this world. We don’t know how to send you back yet but hopefully we can come up with a solution soon.”
What the fuck? was all Kid Flash could think.
“Language” Artemis muttered as she lightly smacked him on the back of the head. Ah so he had accidentally said that out loud.
“So…other universes I guess? Huh. That’s…weird.” Robin said, crossing his arms.
“Can I see Rob now?” Wally asked once again. He seemed really set on that. He couldn’t blame him, he supposes. Robin was his best friend in this world too and he might act the same if he was stranded in a strange place with no one else.
“Yes. Ofcourse. He’s still unconscious but you can see him. The team shall take you to him while I look for a solution.” Batman said and gestured to the rest of them.
“Come on” Aqualad said as he started walking “ Follow us.”

Dick was lying on something soft. He had passed out at some point apparently so he was probably in the medbay. He opened his eyes and was immediately faced with lights. He closed them again and let out a groan. At least this time he got to keep his consciousness (luckily) and this time there was no Wally there (unluckily).
“Hey guys! I think he’s awake!” Oh never mind then. Dick opened his eyes again and saw Wally standing to his left as a few pairs of footsteps could be heard approaching.
He sat up slightly. His head still hurt and everything was blurry but at least Wally was here so everything was fine. He pulled Wally down for a quick kiss like they always do.
Except something was different. Wally didn’t kiss him back. And several gasps were heard from around the room. Which was weird. It wasn’t like they were private about their relationship. And this wasn’t even the first time they had kissed in public. But before he had any time to process that, the worst of it happened. Wally pushed him away.
Dick was so confused. Wally never pushed him away. He looked at Wally again but the ginger just seemed to be staring at him wide-eyed. “Walls?” He said and he actually sounded a little hurt.
“Rob!” A familiar voice yelled but-no that couldn’t be right. Wally was standing right in front of him and he hadn’t said a thing. But then a blur of red and yellow came into his vision from his right. It was Wally. But Wally was still standing in the same spot on his other side.
He looked between the two Wallys as he whispered to himself “Is this some kind of fever dream? I swear there only used to be one.”
The other Wally that had just appeared was now crouched down beside him “Robin? Rob? Dick? Are you okayareyouhurttellmeifyou’rehurt-” Wally worriedly babbled on at superspeed so that it was almost impossible to keep up with him.
“I’m fine.” Dick said, interrupting Wally.“Can someone explain what exactly is happening here though?” He asked as he glanced back at the other Wally.
“Well…we somehow ended up in an alternate universe when that crazy scientist guy hit us with the laser thingy. So he’s basically my counterpart or something.” Wally explained gesturing to his lookalike.
“Wait…so he’s not you?” Dick asked.
“Nope. Not exactly.” Wally replied.
“So I just kissed…” Dick trailed off. Oh. Oh. This was bad. “ I am so sorry.” He wasn’t exactly sure who he was apologizing to exactly but he definitely should apologize to someone.
There was a tense moment of silence before his Wally started laughing. Dick glared at him but all he got in return was a mischievous grin. “Dick, it’s really fine. But honestly, if you wanted to kiss me you could have just asked.” And then Wally leaned up to place a quick kiss on his lips.
Dick melted almost immediately. It was short but when they separated Wally had that stupid smile on his face that still gave Dick butterflies every time he saw it.
“It’s great you both had your moment but what the fuck?” someone blurted out from behind them.

When Robin had walked back into the medbay along with everyone else he had not expected to see Kid Flash kissing his double. The sight made a lot of feelings build up in his chest (jealousy wanting sadness). Kid Flash pulled away quickly.
However, the other Wally had practically leapt to his Dick’s side and that one definitely meant to kiss him. (Kid flash would never kiss him like that. Look at him like that.) Needless to say that left a lot of questions in the minds of his team and himself.
So he was the first one to break the tension and that led to everyone else suddenly starting to ask their own questions too. But the one that stood out most was when Artemis finally asked “ Did you just…kiss him?”
“Uh yeah. Why wouldn’t I kiss my boyfriend?” Wally replied oblivious to everyone’s inner turmoil.
“Boyfriend?!” Everyone in the room practically chorused at once.
“So you two are together?” Robin asked incredulously. It just seemed so impossible (it was exactly like a dream he had had a million times before).
“Yeah. I assumed you all would have figured it out by now.” Dick answered honestly looking like he was taking amusement in the chaos now.
“Like together in a relationship?” Robin asked and he knew he sounded like a broken record but he just couldn’t help himself.
“Yup” Wally chirped. Robin needed a minute to reboot his brain because he did not know how to respond to that. He ignored all the noise of the various people around him as he tried to comprehend all that.
“Wait, are you guys not together in this world?” Wally asked as he looked between him and Kid Flash.
“No! No we aren’t. I actually have a girlfriend, Artemis.” Kid Flash quickly clarified.
“Who?” Wally seemed genuinely confused as if he didn’t know who that was.
“Is that the girl who has been glaring at me this entire time?” Dick asked. Guess walking in on other him kissing her boyfriend (hers not his) really ticked her off.
“Pleasure to meet you.” Artemis said through gritted teeth.
“Nice to meet you too…” he could see the discomfort on his counterpart’s face as he spoke “ Really sorry again. Can you stop glaring at me now?”
Artemis did not respond. She also did not stop glaring at him. Kid Flash sighed. “Artemis, it’s fine. He didn’t know. Let it go.”
She huffed and looked away which was better than nothing.
“Hey at least I was able to tell you and other you apart.” Wally joked trying to lighten the mood.
“No need to rub it in. You both look almost identical. Meanwhile me and…” his double finally looked towards him a little contemplatively. “ Yeah my hair looks better.” He said after a minute.
Robin scoffed, finally having recovered from his paralyzed state. (buried it all down. He can’t think like that)“ It does not.” He snarked. The hair might look slightly different between them but that does not mean the other one’s was better.
“ It so does. Mine has way more volume and curls while yours just looks like a slick back. Definitely not a good look on us.” Dick said with a smirk.
“ For the record, the hair was the first thing that told me it wasn’t you.” Wally chimed in. Of course he would take his boyfriend’s side.
Just as Robin was about to retort, Aqualad finally cut into the conversation. “ Maybe we should check whether Batman has made any progress on getting you both home.” He said effectively stopping the impending argument.
“ Good idea. Wally, let’s go.” Artemis quickly said, grabbing Kid Flash by the arm and dragged him out of the room. Something told him that Kid Flash was not in for a good time.
“ I suppose we should leave them to it.” Aqualad said because even he didn’t want to deal with Artemis when she was like this. “ Regardless, you can stay with us until this is all sorted out. You already know about Robin, Kid Flash and Artemis. That over there is M’gann and Conner. I’m Aqualad or Kaldur, the team leader. So you can come to me if you need anything.”
“ You're the team leader? Damn. In our world, Dick here becomes the default leader every time. It’s cause big old batsy was able to pass down the control issues.” Wally remarked.
“ I do not have control issues.” Dick said, smacking Wally lightly.
“Sorry sorry” Wally laughed. “So what’s there to do around here anyways?”
“We all could perhaps watch a movie. Me and Conner usually do that in our free time.” M’gann suggested and she actually seemed pretty excited about the idea.
The boys shared a glance before Dick piped up “ Sounds good to us.” He got up and pulled Wally up alongside him. They were still holding hands as they stood up.
They looked so perfect together. Like they belonged with each other. (It made him wonder why he couldn’t have that). He still didn’t like other him—definitely not out jealousy—so he really hoped Batman found a way to send him home soon. He just had to deal with it until then.

Wally had just let Dick pull him along as they followed the others. Once they had reached the lounge he had sat down on the couch with Dick practically half lying on top of him.
Conner and M’gann had chosen the movie and were sitting together on the couch across from them. He was pretty sure they were together but didn’t comment on it.
Kaldur had sat down on the arm chair to their right.
He vaguely paid attention to the movie but he was more focused on Dick. Honestly it felt good to just sit cuddled up with his boyfriend. He would be content staying like this for hours.
Somewhere around the end of the movie the Artemis girl finally came back. “ Batman wants to see you. He says he found something. He’ll meet you in the training area.” She said shortly before walking out again. She definitely did not like them.
That was actually a little unfair to them. They hadn’t even done anything. He’s allowed to be with his boyfriend. He still felt a little guilty though. He did not mean to cause trouble in his other version’s life.
He ignored those thoughts as he got up. They hopefully weren’t even going to be here for that long anyways.

Kid Flash and Artemis were standing off to the side when everyone else entered. They wouldn't even look at each other and the tension between them could be cut with a knife.
Artemis was still angry and annoyed at the whole thing and he himself still didn’t know what to feel. It was weird. He knew it wasn’t him but it was honestly like looking in a mirror.
Batman was standing in the middle of the room with Zatanna discussing something. The man cleared his throat to grab everyone’s attention. “ We found a way to send you both home. Zatanna here has a-”
“Wait. Time out. That’s…Zatanna? Like Auntie Zatanna? How old even are you?” Wally interrupted.
“ Auntie?!” Zatanna practically screeched.
“Wally! You’re being rude.” Dick smacked him lightly and wow it reminded him so much of what he and Artemis were like. “ Sorry ma’am” Dick continued “ It’s just in our world, aren’t used to seeing you so…young. You’re usually more around B’s age than mine.”
“You guys are from a weird universe.” Kid Flash said. Their Zatanna was probably so different. Just another thing to add to the pile.
“I think your universe is the weird one.” Wally replied.
“I think we should get back on track here. It is best we deal with this as quickly as possible. Zatanna, you may proceed.” Batman cut in.
“Let’s hope my spell works.” Zatanna said already preparing.
“ Yeah just don’t accidentally send us to the wrong universe.” Wally snarked but there was a hint of nervousness there.
“ It’ll be fine.” Dick said, sending a reassuring smile his way.
Zatanna muttered something in a language none of them could understand and the room was engulfed in a bright light. Once it cleared the two figures were gone.
