Chapter Text
A sigh escaped Stolas’ beak when he jotted down more numbers on the papers he was looking over.
“How does Blitzø go through so much money in a short amount of time,” he asked himself as he pinched the bridge of his beak.
It had been a couple of months since he started working at IMP as a receptionist. He had gotten used to a routine of taking calls and accepting jobs but lately he found himself looking over the finances since Moxxie had another meltdown when Blitzø had to buy a new gun and bullets. Stolas could not blame him though; Millie was pregnant and Moxxie needed the money.
“Blitzø is so lucky that he’s cute,” Stolas grumbled.
As he looked at another document, a diamond shaped portal opened, and Stolas looked to see his beloved imp standing there with a big smile.
“Yeah! I’m back! Mission accomplished!” He said with a toothy grin. There was an explosion behind him, and it added to his arrogant and sexy glory.
Stolas chuckled but then he heard grumbles.
“Blitzø…” Octavia’s voice was heard, “we get that you wanted to make a grand entrance to impress daddy but…”
“Get the fuck off us!” Orion yelled.
Stolas looked down and saw his two children on the floor while Blitzø was standing on their backs.
“Oops!” The assassin said nonchalantly and stepped off, “Sorry kids!”
“You said that the last time!” Octavia yelled out after sitting up.
Orion fixed his hat and held up the head of a man he killed, “heads still intact.”
“He didn’t put up much of a fight,” Loona muttered after she walked through the portal, she was smart to step aside before her dad decided to jump through the portal to make a grand entrance, “That’s the boring kind of hit.”
Stolas took note of the red blood on the hellhounds muzzle and gave her a handkerchief.
“Welcome back everyone,” he said with a smile, he was now used to seeing blood and severed heads, “I’ll call the client and her know that the job was done.”
“Good!” Blitzø jumped on the desk to give the prince a kiss on the cheek (much to the annoyance of the three young assassins), "Lunch break everyone!"
Loona sighed and went to the couch to lay down, she already ate and wasn’t hungry right now. Octavia and Orion went to the breakroom to grab their lunch, leftover braised mice, a side salad and iced tea.
Stolas and Blitzø decided to have 'private meeting’ in the imp's office and put a do not disturb sign on the door. Loona made a disgusted noise and left to go to the breakroom to stay and warn the twins. While it was nice that her dad and Stolas were finally together, she was annoyed at how they went at it like teenagers.
Sure enough, Octavia and Orion made gagging sounds at the thought of their dads doing it in the main office.
“We’ll never get used to this,” Octavia mumbled, sitting down at the break room table and munching on her salad.
“They’re so gross,” Orion sighed in annoyance.
Loona took a sip of her soda, “You’d think we be used to it by now.”
The twins gagged, they will never get used to seeing their dads acting gross and sweet. They barely tolerated Moxxie and Millie and those two were on a small vacation to celebrate Millie’s pregnancy.
“Well we’re stuck here,” Loona muttered and pulled out her phone, “Did you hear about ‘F**k You, Dad!’?”
Octavia slumped in her seat which was her answer.
Orion crossed his arms.
“I can’t believe they are breaking up!” The oldest of the twins grumbled, “they were so good!”
“Why are they breaking up again?” the youngest asked.
Loona looked at her phone, “The singer had a falling out with the label company because they wanted her to do a duet with Verosika but she refused because of… personal issues.”
The twins groaned, what did that bitch do this time?
Loona looked at the article, “Oh I see. The singer didn’t want to stoop down to Verosika’s ‘obsessive and mediocre’ genre. The rest of the band wanted to do the duet, but the singer didn’t want to, so she left, and the band just fell apart.”
“Wow,” Octavia muttered, “that woman is destroying everything she touches.”
“I’m surprised she has the nerve to show her face after what happened at that party,” Orion huffed.
Loona snickered, recalling the Halloween party. Octavia and Orion accused everyone, including Verosika, of their obsession with Blitzø, leading Octavia to kill one for kissing Stolas. Loona couldn't understand why Stolas attended, but the aftermath was wild. Octavia destroyed the house, and Verosika's meltdown from it went viral, surpassing the video of the twins wrecking the DJ booth and Octavia killing the lust demon.
Loona did talk to Tex, Verosika’s bodyguard, that night to demand answers and said a few unpleasant things when she heard everything. Hence why she chose to distance herself from the hellhound for now. She appreciated the friendship/unrequited crush, but she did not want to associate with anyone who knew Verosika. She even stopped listening to her songs as a result and she loved listening to them.
“Well, she is a popular popstar, and any publicity is good publicity,” Loona muttered and ate her lunch, “Oh well, she’s history.”
“True,” the twins said at the same time, and they continued to eat.
Their lunch break ended when Loona got a text from Blitzø saying that he and Stolas were done with their ‘meeting’ (she gagged) and that he was ready to get back to business. The three assassins sighed and left the break room.
They rolled their eyes when they saw the disheveled clothes of their fathers and the embarrassed smile of Stolas who was scratching his cheek.
“Gross.”
“Really daddy?”
“You’re shameless Blitzø."
Blitzø happily ignored them and announced that they had two more jobs to do for the day.

In the cold stone room of Belial’s palace, a soft hum escaped the king's beak while he read the daily report Valac gave him.
“So... he’s doing well?” the white hawk asked from his throne.
Valac nodded with a smile, “He sure is, I don’t think I ever seen him this happy since he was a kid.”
“Huh...”
“I guess that’s what happens when you finally live the life you want,” Malphus added, “That Blitzø treats him well every time I see him.”
Belial rubbed his chin in thought and sighed softly. He then turned his head to look at the curtain that hid the portrait of Stolas as a chick. He should have taken it down already, but he couldn’t, he didn’t have the heart to do it.
“...I didn’t need you the past twenty-six years you were gone…. And I don’t need you now...!”
Those words echoed in Belial’s head again for who knows how many times since Stolas said that to him. How could he blame Stolas though? He always said that he would always be there for his little brother, and he left him all alone for twenty-six years. Belial accepted that Stolas hated him, but it still hurt. Belial had many regrets, and this was one of them. He stood by and did nothing while Stolas lived a life of misery and abuse.
Not being there for him would always be his biggest regret.
And now Stolas hated him which was his right.
With a sigh, the king stood up from his throne, not paying attention to the two presidents who were now talking about how Loona, Blitzø's daughter, had such a high level of magic despite her being a hellhound. They didn’t notice that their king had left his throne until they heard the great doors of the throne room being opened.
Valac turned to see Belial standing at the doorway, “Sir?”
“Where are you going?” Malphus asked in confusion, was he going to his chambers?
Belial stood there and took in a deep breath before letting out, “I’m going home.”
The cowboys looked at him in stunned surprise and then looked at each other in confusion.
For them, there was only one place where Belial called home.
The place he was born and lived in for the first twenty-five years of his life.
The place where for ten short years, he was happy.
“Sir you can’t be serious!”
“Stolas said he wants nothing to do with you!”
Belial ignored them and walked out of the cold throne room. He stayed away long enough and enough was enough.
He was going to confront Stolas one more time, clear up everything that happened between them and stay away for good if that was what his brother wanted.
Valac and Malphus ran after the unhinged king while trying to convince him that he was crazy for doing this.
But Belial’s mind was made up.
And no one was going to stop him.

“Hey dad, we should rent out that apartment,” Loona muttered while looking at her phone.
The day at IMP was over and now Blitzø was driving everyone home. Stolas was looking at his phone making the schedule for the month, texting Millie if she needed anything and sent screenshots of today’s finances to Moxxie to show that today’s payments were secure. Octavia and Orion were watching a video on their tablet without a care in the world.
“You think so Loonie?” Blitzø asked, "I can always give it to you.”
The woman shook her head, “Nah, I wanna stay with you guys.”
Blitzø looked at her with teary eyes, "Awww Loonie...!"
“Someone's gotta be there for Via and Rion when you and Stolas act all gross.”
The van almost hit an oncoming car.
“Blitzø!" Stolas hooted in fright, "Watch the road!"
“Relax babe!” Blitzø said nonchalantly, "I’ve done this before!”
“Still! Think of the children!”
The twins and Loona were unfazed by the near collision. They were still looking at their devices with tired expressions.
Stolas sighed, he had forgotten that they were all used to Blitzø's reckless personality. But then again, so was he.
“So what’s for dinner?” the imp asked when the palace was within sight.
The twins perked up, they were starving after killing all day.
“It depends on what Pringles has planned,” Stolas answered as he put his phone away, “He’s always been good at planning the meals.”
“He has,” Octavia muttered softly.
Orion was silent but even he knew that Pringles always a capable butler.
“Well, we’re home!” Blitzø announced with aa smile.
For an imp to call a palace of a Goetia home was unheard of but then again, Stolas was a rather unusual Goetia. He was a happily disgraced prince who was living a quiet life with his two children he fought so hard to keep with his lover and stepdaughter. Octavia and Orion were also happy to be seen as failures; they were living their lives the way they wanted. Strangely enough, the twins kept their popularity amongst the imps and hellhounds even after they pulled that stunt at Satan's trial where they insulted the imp population. But Millie did show that the mayor of her hometown was the loudest supporter of them which led to them and their dad getting support. And then there was the interview their dad did with that magazine where he came out as a gay man who was in love with an imp.
Blitzø parked the van at the front steps and jumped out while everyone crawled out, Stolas needed a little help since he was so tall, Octavia had to push him since she and her brother were still inside. It resulted in Stolas almost falling on his face when his daughter pushed a little too hard.
“Thank you darling,” he said as he got up from his not so graceful stumble while his two children jumped out.
“Welcome!” Octavia piped with a smile.
Orion chuckled, “You okay dad?”
Stolas fixed his fedora and made his way to the steps, “I am, I need a bath after today.”
Loona opened the door to see a nervous Pringles pacing the floor, “Um... You okay?”
The butler jumped, “O-Oh! Welcome home everyone!”
Stolas knew that something was amiss, and he took off his hat to give the butler, “What is going on Pringles?”
The shorter imp took the hat trembling, “W-Well, Lord Valac and Lord Malphus have returned.”
Blitzø cocked an eyebrow, so what? Those two presidents come and go all the time so why was the butler freaking out?
“Alright?” the prince was confused, “Is there a problem?”
Pringles gulped, “A-And... his majesty, king Belial, is here as well. He demands to speak with you your highness.”
Stolas froze when he heard his brother’s name. Belial is here? In his palace? He's here?
“I-I-I said that you did not wish to see him, but he was adamant, Lord Valac and Lord Malphus have tried to convince him to leave as well, but he would not listen,” the butler explained, “he’s in the drawing room.”
The prince gulped and looked at his children who were just as worried as he was. Why was the unhinged king here?
Blitzø and Loona were in fight mode now, sure that king saved them when that stupid peacock almost killed them, but Stolas made it clear that he never wanted to see him ever again. Loona was told about the prince’s history with Belial, and she was not happy to hear that. What was it about Stolas that made him a punching bag?!
Stolas was reeling with anger, but he sighed, his shoulders slacked, and he took back his fedora, “Very well, I’ll meet with him.”
Everyone looked at him in confusion, what was he thinking?!
“Babe, now's not the time to act like a prince,” Blitzø tried to reason, "you said you wanted nothing to do with that family anymore!"
“I know what I said, and I still do,” Stolas pulled out his phone and began searching for something, “But I need to settle this if it means he will leave us alone.”
The twins and Loona looked at each other, they were worried about what was going to happen.
Stolas showed Pringles his phone that showed a recipe, “Do you think you can make this?”
The butler looked at it with a raised eyebrow, “Are you certain you want this made your highness?”
The prince nodded, “Yes, I will let you know when you can bring it.”
With that, Stolas walked off to meet with the king.
Blitzø, Loona and the twins followed him, confused and trying to tell him that he didn’t have to talk to his estranged brother, but Stolas ignored them.
When your toxic family finally leaves you alone, you tend to look back on where everything went wrong. For Stolas, he began to think about what he saw on Sinsmas. Before Belial disappeared after being told that he was not needed, Stolas saw his face. He looked sad, heartbroken actually, and it confused Stolas. Belial told him that he hated him after admitting that he was glad he was the last brother to raise. He sounded genuine but his facial expression confused the prince.
When he reached the door to the drawing room, he heard the voices of Valac and Malphus.
“I’m telling you; you need to leave!”
“You really think Stolas is going to accept what you gotta say?!”
The way the presidents were acting only added to Stolas’ suspicions. They were scolding the king. No one in their right mind would even dare talk back to Belial from what Stolas heard.
“That’s enough,” he heard Belial’s cold voice muttered, “if Stolas wants me to leave then I will.”
“He did ya idiot!” Valac crowed.
Okay, that truly made Stolas suspicious.
With a deep breath, he opened the door to see the white hawk king sitting on the leather couch drinking a scotch on the rocks (that was from Stolas’ personal cabinet!) while Valac and Malphus were standing in front of him with annoyed looks on their faces.
“Hello Valac, Malphus,” the prince announced them first before he even acknowledged Belial, “Your majesty.”
Belial grunted in response and waved the presidents away. They moved to stand behind the couch with their arms behind their backs. Stolas moved to sit on the couch opposite the king. Blitzø and Loona sat on the right while Octavia and Orion sat on the left.
“So...” the prince had his hands folded on his lap, “Why are you here your majesty?”
Belial was silent, his black eyes and red pupils stared at Stolas intensely, it made him feel uncomfortable and he knew his family were feeling it as well.
“I must say,” Stolas muttered, “I did not expect you to barge into my palace after all this time. You could have sent word.”
The king huffed and crossed his arms, “Why should I send word? This used to be my palace.”
Stolas gave a narrow glare, “This was your palace, but it became mine when you left.”
It was now Belial’s turn to glare back. The silence between the brothers was felt by everyone in the room. Blitzø’s hand was inching towards his gun, Loona was ready to pounce if she had had to, but Octavia and Orion could see that something was up. They saw that both Valac and Malphus were glaring but at their dads or them.
They were glaring at Belial.
That was weird, why were they doing that? Weren't they supposed to work for him?
Stolas’ fingers tightened their grip on his lap before he relaxed. If his suspicions were correct, then he knew that everything would be resolved fast.
“Very well... brother,” Stolas bit out, “I had a lot to think about these past months and now that I know how you really feel about me, I feel it is important to let you know something. Something I have been wanting to tell you for years.”
Belial raised an eyebrow and Stolas leaned forward.
“Nickelback...”
Blitzø, Loona and the twins looked at him, the uneasy feeling they felt instantly turned into pure confusion. What the heck was he saying?
The feathers of Belial reacted, and his beak gave a snarl as he muttered ever so quietly, “Don’t you fucking do it...”
“That band fucking... sucks!” Stolas declared, slamming his hands on the small coffee table, “Their music is ear garbage and that singer, Chad Kroeger, right?” he tilted his head and nodded, “Oh yes, that’s his name, anyway, his voice is grating and his hair looked like uncooked noodles! And also-”
Before he could continue, two large hands grabbed him by his red sweater, and he was lifted from the couch. Blitzø and Loona were ready to attack, and the twins froze in fright when king Belial the unhinged king of the Goetia grabbed their dad.
Belial was seething in anger, “Take... it....” his deep voice that made everyone freeze at the trial months ago echoed in the room, “Back!” and then his voiced changed into a higher pitch, “Take it back! Take it back you little bastard before I rip your arms out and beat you to death with them!”
He said this while shaking Stolas who did nothing to defend himself, instead he gave an unamused look.
“I thought so,” he said.
Belial sputtered, his eyes were wide in realization, he dropped Stolas and plopped on the couch, “Damnit!”
Valac and Malphus let out annoyed sighs, they were so done with this boy!
Blitzø looked at Stolas who was dusting off his sweater, “the fuck was that Stolas?!”
“Daddy, what happened!?” Octavia demanded.
“Dad?” Orion asked in confusion.
Loona looked at the king, “Did he shrink?”
Stolas fixed his head and pointed at Belial, “Children, Blitzø, this is my brother Belial. The real Belial, an idiot who would rather watch anime and has unhealthy obsession with Nickelback and chimichangas!”
Belial sat there with his arms crossed and a pout was on his face, a far cry from the intimidating king the family grew to fear and hate.
“I’m not that bad...”

Chapter Text
Stolas glared at the pouting king with his arms crossed.
“Oh quit pouting, you’re how old again?”
Belial huffed, “Well excuse me for being upset! You dissed the greatest band of all time!”
“It’s just a band from the living realm.”
The king’s eye twitched, “I’ll ignore that for now Stolas…”
“Whatever, why are you here anyway? Here to gloat? To laugh at me? The Goetia have already done that,” Stolas hissed, now that the tension was gone, he didn’t bother with keeping his manners.
Blitzø, Loona, Octavia and Orion were now beyond confused. One minute king Belial of the Ars Goetia was this intimidating force that gave them an uneasy feeling and now, he was a man who was sulking over a human band.
“I’m not here the gloat,” Belial answered, sitting up straighter, “I’m here to chat. Catch up you know.”
Valac and Malphus facepalmed when those words escaped the king's beak.
Stolas’ feather puffed in outrage, but he calmed down.
“Blitzø, take the children and leave for a moment. Valac, Malphus, I wish to be alone with his majesty,” he bit out.
The two presidents didn’t need to be told twice. Almost immediately they were escorting the four out and closed the doors ever so slightly.
Once they were Stolas glared at Belial.
“You… are a fucking joke!” He spat, “a ridiculous, immature, halfwit moron! You left me here for twenty-six fucking years and now you are acting as if none of this happened! As if you did not take away my magic or called me a failure!”
Belial sat there, his expression slowly turned to a neutral look.
“What, did you think that after leaving me alone after sinsmas would make me instantly forgive you?!” the prince stood up from his seat to stare down at his brother, “well heres the thing, I want nothing to do with anyone from the Goetia family aside from Vassago! After being their personal punching bag for eighteen years, I’m done! And I’m done being your little punching bag as well! Oh how I wish I could say you die alone but it’s one of Lucifer’s best jokes that you can’t die! Accept it’s all on all of us!”
Belial was still silent as he looked up at his little brother.
“You got nothing to say? Mouth?!”
Oh yes, Stolas went there. He called his brother the biggest insult he hated more than anything. Being called ‘mouth’ all because Belial was chatty.
The king took in a few deep breaths, the words Stolas spat out sunk in and then he stood up to his full height.
“…. I’m going to hurt you now” was all he said.
Stolas let out a bitter chuckle, “What more can you possibly do to hurt m-”
A hand made contact with his face, making Stolas stumble a bit. He placed his own hand on his face and looked at Belial with wide eyes.
Belial yelped when he realized what he did, “Okay that was a little harsh Stolas I’m-”
A fist connected with the king's stomach with great force making him keel over, Stolas used that opportunity to grab the king by his hair and slam his head on the coffee table. A phone fell out of the black feather cape. With each slam music played and the screen cracked.
“My phone!” Belial screamed.
“Fuck the phone!” Stolas grabbed a knife from out of no where and stabbed him in the stomach.
“You little-!”
“Not talking now?!”
Belial fell back and used his leg to slam Stolas to the couch but all that did was make the prince stab his side.
“Ow you little bastard!”
Stolas responded by punching the king in the face. Belial reacted by punching the prince’s beak.
Outside the drawing room, Valac and Malphus laughed when they saw the scene.
“I knew that was going to happen!” Valac hollered.
Malphus extended his hand, “I win the bet Val!”
“And for once, I ain’t mad I lost!”
Blitzø was now completely confused, what were they two birds laughing about? They kept him and the kids from trying to peek in at what Stolas was telling that ass of a king and now we’re talking about some bet?
“Excuse me! What the fuck is going on here?! And why am I hearing music from some 70s musical?!”
Valac wiped away a stray tear that formed from laughing, “All will be answered but first...”
Malphus pushed him and the very confused kids to side, “We need to move right here.”
No sooner he did that, Stolas was thrown out the door. He crashed against the wall with a loud thud coughed out a bit of blood.
“Daddy!”
“Dad!”
Octavia and Orion were horrified to see that their father had serious injuries. There was blood on his face and his beak was broken. Their mother would always hit him like that and seeing it again made them tremble. However, instead of cowering in fear like he used to, Stolas hissed and ran back in the drawing room.
They all now looked in the drawing room to see the prince tackle the king to the ground and deliver a barrage of solid punches.
“Stolas!” Blitzø tried to run in to help but Valac grabbed him, “hey!”
“Sorry Blitzø! but they need this!"
Malphus was already holding back Loona, Octavia and Orion who were ready to attack.
“‘Need this’?! The fuck you mean they ‘need this’?!” Blitzø tried to wriggle out of the blackbird’s arms but to no avail.
“Trust me, they really need this,” Valac said again, “Don’t worry, Belial won’t hurt Stolas.”
Belial swung his arm at Stolas and was able to flip them over to where he was on top. Stolas responded by kicking him in the stomach with as much force as he could. The king was thrown off and he let out a squeal when he launched.
“You can’t even take a fucking fight seriously?!” Stolas screeched as he stood up, wiping a bit of blood off his face.
Belial growled, “You want me to take this seriously?!”
He was flipped off in response.
“Oh you asked for it!”
Belial ran to him, fist drawn and he tackled the prince, pinning him to the ground. He had him in a head lock, but Stolas somehow wiggled out of the hold and grabbed the arm. With all his strength, Stolas pulled it in an odd angle.
“No, no, no!” the king yelled but Stola managed to snap the arm.
Cue a screech in pain and another screech when Stolas grabbed him by his cape and slammed him to the ground. Doing so, Belial was able to heal his arm, and they went back to fist fighting. Stolas then grabbed another knife out of nowhere and began to stab Belial who kicked him. He landed on the phone that was still playing the song, Stolas landing on it made the song stop.
“Well...” Belial said taking in deep breaths, “nice to know that you remembered what I tried to teach you, show me what you got big boy.”
Stolas growled, “Oh I’m just getting started brother!”
He leapt off the phone, the song played again and pounced on the king. He stabbed, punched and clawed at him. Belial responded with punches and scratches.
Black blood and feathers were everywhere.
“Alright, let’s get dinner,” Valac said as he motioned the family away from the door.
Loona didn’t want to leave, “How do we know that king won’t kill him?!”
“Oh he won’t,” the blackbird chuckled, “Trust me on this.”
“And knowing those two, they won’t stop,” Muttered Malphus.
Octavia and Orion looked at each other in concern but they saw that their dad was still fighting so they sighed in defeat.
“If it makes you two feel better, I’ll stay here to monitor them,” Malphus added, “I already had dinner and it’s been a while since I've seen those two fight.”
“I wouldn’t call Stolas yanking on Belial's tail fighting.”
“Well he did!”
Valac rolled his eyes and escorted everyone to the kitchen, “Blitzø I got a lot to tell ya about that idiot I serve!"
“Good!” the assassin yelled, “Cause I wanna know who the fuck that asshole is! And I need a fucking drink!”
“I think all of us need a drink dad!” Loona yelled out in the tone as her father and then she turned to the twins, “except you two, you’re getting soda!”
They rolled their eyes and left with Valac.
Two hours later
After dinner, Valac revealed Belial's true nature to everyone. Stolas' statements in the drawing room were accurate. The king loved anime and held Nickelback in high regard, considering any insult towards them as blasphemy. Valac briefly recounted how Belial raised his many brothers and favored Stolas. This was new information for Loona and the twins, but Blitzø already knew it. Valac mentioned there was more to Belial's long absence, which only the king could explain.
Now they were walking back to the drawing room to see if Stolas and Belial stopped fighting. They found Malphus leaning against the wall next to the fixed doors enjoying a bit of jerky while looking at his phone.
“Hey Mal,” Valac called out to his friend, “Did they stop?”
The president looked up at him sighed, “Ten minutes ago actually, I was about to go in and stop them.”
Loona and the twins looked at each other in shock.
“They were fighting for two hours?” the hellhound whispered in disbelief.
Octavia and Orion couldn’t believe it either, they never in their entire lives seen this side of their dad. He never fought back with fists before.
Malphus opened the door and peeked his head in before he let out a guffaw, “Look at this!”
The demons looked in and saw a scene of chaos.
Stolas’ prized collection of wine and bourbon were smashed; the solid wood cabinets were now splinters and the leather couches were shredded. The walls had holes and the wall paper was pulled off.
It was as if a war was fought in there and in the middle of the room were the two forces. Passed out and bloody was prince Stolas and king Belial of the Ars Goetia, Stolas’ clothes were bloody, but he didn’t seem to have any injuries on him, but Belial looked like he was hit by a train. His beak was broken, one of his eyes were swollen shut and his cape was tired around him like a strait jacket. Pained moans were coming out of the king and Stolas unconsciously punched him one more time.
“Ain’t that nice,” Valac mused, “Belial healed him.”
The two presidents walked in with Blitzø following, he told the kids to stay at the doorway.
“Alright, wake up you idiot!” Malphus used his talon foot to nudge Belial who groaned.
Blitzø went to Stolas and gently patted his face, "Stols?"
The prince’s eyes snapped open and he sat up, alert and looking around, “Yes?”
“And Stolas wins this one!” Malphus announced with a clap before holding his hand out to Valac, “I win this one!”
Valac grumbled and reached into his pocket, “Belial! Wake up!”
Blitzø helped Stolas stand up and brushed off any debris off him, "You okay babe?”
“Oh yes darling,” the prince smiled, a very carefree smile, as if he didn’t just wake up from having a fist fight with his brother, “I feel great!”
The imp blinked but then he smirked, he never saw that side if Stolas before and seeing him break that weird king’s arm... turned him on.
“Good! Now let’s go!” he said as he grabbed the prince’s hand and dragged him out.
Stolas let out a startled hoot but he still went with him, they ran by Loona and the twins who gave them disgusted looks when they realized what they were doing.
“Oh grow up you three!” Blitzø yelled out as he and Stolas ran off, “Your daddies have sex! Get used to it!”
“We’re adults and we’re not used to it!” Valac hollered out the door and motioned for the three to come in, “How do you live with that?”
Loona shrugged her shoulders, “Don’t ask, we just deal with it. Even though it’s gross.”
“Too gross,” Octavia muttered.
Orion shuddered, “They have no shame.”
Malphus sighed and then yelled at the still out cold king, he summoned a glass of ice-cold water to his hand “Wake up you damn idiot!”
After that, he dumped the water on the king.
The sudden chill made the king yelp and sat up spitting out any liquid that made it to his mouth, “Malphus! What the hell?!”
“Well ya wouldn’t wake up!” the cowbird yelled, “Now get up and fix this mess!”
Belial pouted but he still stood up while trying to undo the work on his cape, “How did he tie this?!”
“You tell me,” Valac muttered, “Now behave yourself!”
“Eh?” the king tilted his head and turned to see Loona, Octavia and Orion standing at the doorway with confused expressions on their faces, “Oh! Uh... hi? Um... nice to meet you!”
The three looked at each other, should they just leave this weird guy and leave?
“I uh... know this is awkward and all but please hear me out!” Belial was able to untie his cape, they could see the many knives sticking out of him, “I promise, I’ll keep a safe distance!”
He waved his hand and everything in the drawing room repaired themselves. It was like clockwork to see the furniture and bottle being repaired and put back in their places.
Loona and the twins walked in the drawing room, but they stayed a good distance by sitting on the coach that was against the wall while Belial pulled out the knives from his body.
“Ow!” he pulled out another knife from his chest, “Oh fuck!” and he pulled on from his leg, “That little bastard!”
“Where did dad get those knives?” Octavia whispered.
“Beats me,” Loona answered, “Dad told me that he did hide some weapons around this palace once, I guess Stolas knows where they are.”
“And they hurt!” Belial yelled in pain.
Valac and Malphus sighed and were about to make him sit on the couch in front of the kids when they noticed another knife.
“Uh sir?”
“What?” the king asked.
Malphus pointed at the knife and Belial looked down to see that it was sticking out of his crotch.
“Oh for the love of...!” he yelled and looked at the three assassins, “Look away children.”
They didn’t.
“Look away!” Belial yelled which made them do so and he pulled at the knife, “Ah...! Ugh...! AH!” he pulled knife out, “AHhahaha ow!”
He then sat down on the couch and healed all his injuries, “That little bastard! He knew where to aim...”
Octavia and Orion shifted, and they felt Loona’s tail move behind them, pulling them as close as she can. No one was going to hurt her little siblings again and she didn’t care if the guy in front of her was a king.
Belial straightened himself out and spoke, “So... as you know, I’m Belial. The ninth king of the Ars Goetia... and your uncle. Nice to meet you?”
He had an awkward smile on his face, and he rubbed the back of his head and began to sweat nervously when they glared at him, “Okay.... damnit.... I’ve never been good with kids!”
Valac and Malphus rolled their eyes.
“Why don’t you explain why you did what you did?” Valac growled.
“Oh yeah!” Belial exclaimed, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Malphus face palmed, why was he forced to serve this idiot?
The hawk king cleared his throat and spoke again, “Well... I may have been a little bit scary when I took over the trial...”
Octavia scoffed, “A ‘little’? You call punching our dad, stealing his magic and having him dragged out thinking that my brother and I were going to go back to that woman a bit scary?! He even offered everything that made him, him to keep us but you still had him dragged away!”
Belial shrunk at that, “Okay you have a point.”
“So why are you here?” Orion demanded, “You made it clear that you hated dad so why come back?”
The king looked at them with big eyes, big teary eyes, “What?”
Loona raised a confused eyebrow, “We saw, you said it yourself. You hated raising your brothers.”
“I did but I never hated Stolas!” Belial cried, “Why would I?!”
The three looked at him in confusion, it was still weird seeing this side of a man who, for a while, had intimidated them when his sheer presence.
Belial shook the tears off his eyes and spoke, “Listen, I know I fucked up on this one, but I did what I did for Stolas’ sake and for you two,” he gestured at Octavia and Orion, “Satan is a stupid lizard who is lazy! Do you really think he cares about the ‘laws’ of hell? He doesn't! All he cares about is strutting his ego around and letting anyone in the Goetia do what they want! If I didn’t step in, he would have stripped your dad of everything! His rank, his title, his wealth and you! It wouldn’t have mattered if he was shown proof that you mother was cruel, he would have said that you were still better off with her!”
Octavia and Orion shivered at the thought of being forced to go back to their mother. The would no sooner put a holy bullet in their heads if that happened.
“I knew something was up when Stolas showed up was tied up. Nothing made sense! Why would Stolas immediately defend his boyfriend when he was accused of hiring an assassin to kill him? Why was Andrealphus so obsessed with taking his position? I would have stopped the execution if you two didn’t show up,” the king shot them a stern look, “that was reckless by the way, I don’t know the full story but still! Taking the full blame? You’re more reckless than your dad!”
That was what everyone has told them since the trial. That Octavia and Orion were reckless when they tired to take the full blame for grimoire being used illegally. But they were that desperate to save their dads.
“And what I said at sinsmas was out of line but I was still angry at that peacock for making an idiot out of me! I should have said something else but everything was all over the place and Stolas said he didn’t need me anymore, it hurt!” Belial clutched his chest where he felt that empty feeling, “So I stayed away for a while to cool off. But still, I want to at least fix this before I stay away for good.”
Valac and Malphus snorted and Belial glared at them.
“Hey! I pay your salaries!”
“You don’t pay us enough to deal with your antics!” Valac yelled.
Belial was about to say something when he noticed Loona had stood up and motioned for the twins to follow.
“That’s cute and all but all that bullshit you said to us should be said to Stolas,” the hellhound muttered, “You have no idea how much you hurt him.”
“I know…” Belial drooped, “But can I at least get to know my nieces and nephew?”
“No,” the twins growled.
“We had enough of uncles who want to ‘bond’ with us,” Octavia declared, she rubbed the spot on her cheek where Andrealphus had always touched.
“Besides, you did enough to us already,” Orion muttered.
With that, they left the drawing room.
“Told you, you should have stayed away Belial,” Malphus said to the down king.
Belial sighed and crossed his arms, “I know…”
“Sure ya did,” Valac muttered, “Now what?”
The king stood up and decided to leave the drawing room, “When Stolas is… done,” he shuddered at the thought of mentioning his brother’s sex life, “tell him I’ll be in his office, I think a more professional setting will be appropriate to try and talk.”
The two presidents doubted that but they nodded and bowed.
“As you wish.”
They’ll do it but they knew that Stolas, who was just as stubborn as their king, would not be happy.
Notes:
And there you go!
According to hubby the punches stolas gave Andrealphus were not weak punches. He knows how to punch so it wouldn't make sense that he would react that way. Hubby begged me to put that fight scene in, I did my best and I might add more later give or take.
And yes Belial took it personally when he was told that Stolas thinks he hates him.
Next chapter will be Stolas and Belial talking.... and a few insults...
See ya!
Chapter 3
Notes:
Hey guys! So hubby is on cloud nine from the feedback on Belial and wanted to express his gratitude!
here's a fun fact about Belial's lore, he can manipulate reality which was pure coincidence on our part lol! Which makes our decision of having him be the Ryan Reynolds of the Goetia all the more funny!
So this chapter is an interesting one which I'll explain at the end.
Please enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
“Fuck Stolas!” Blitzø groaned as he snuggled against Stolas’ chest fluff, “If I knew you could do that, I would have made you break my arms before you lost your magic!”
The prince let out a startled chirp, “Not funny darling!”
After Blitzø woke him up after that fight with his brother, Stolas found himself in bed with his boyfriend. Blitzø used all their old toys on him and even brought out the bear traps, they hadn’t used those in a long time, so the prince was excited. They were cuddling after who know how many rounds when the imp said that.
“Besides, I don’t want to hurt the ones I love,” Stolas sighed softly and rolled on his back, taking Blitzø with him, "Belial was asking for it anyway.”
“Still, you looked so hot breaking his arm.”
Stolas sighed and chuckled, “And they say I have bizarre kinks.”
Blitzø stuck his tongue out playfully and looked at the small clock on the bedside table, “Huh, it’s eleven already?”
The owl demon looked as well, “So it is, I should get myself something to eat.”
With great reluctance, Blitzø got off his prince, "You do that babe."
Stolas kissed him sweetly and got out of bed when he heard a knock.
“Stolas? It’s me Valac.”
The men sighed and Stolas grabbed his robe before he opened the door, “Yes Valac?”
The blackbird grimaced and turned his head, Stolas’ feathers were in disarray, and he had very obvious stains on his face and chest, “Could you at least clean up?! I get it, you have a boyfriend, and you have sex but still!”
Stolas rolled his eyes, “Well I was with said boyfriend, what is it Valac? You normally go home after a certain time.”
Valac cleared his throat and fixed his hat, “Well... Belial said he wants to talk...”
A small growl escaped from the prince’s beak, “Why?”
“Easy there Stolas, I’m just a messenger,” the president said calmly, “There is a reason why he’s here, but you know what happens when he opens that big mouth of his.”
“Too well,” Stolas grumbled and closed his robe, “I’ll see him right away.”
He was about to leave, only for Valac push him back.
“Oh no you don’t!” the blackbird pushed him to the en suite, “Clean yourself up and at least make yourself presentable!”
As he pushed Stolas in the bathroom, Valac caught a glimpse of Blitzø watching the seen with a smirk, the imp didn't even bother to cover himself, so Valac saw everything.
“Cover yourself!” the president blushed.
Blitzø smirked, "Like what you see cowboy~?"
Valac shook his head in a fast pace, “I’m a happily married man! Cover yourself!”
Hearing that Stolas poked his head out of the bathroom, his face was wet from being cleaned, “How is your wife anyway Valac? I never got to ask.”
“She’s good, I told her you were fine, and she wants to visit soon.”
With that Valac left the room and slammed the door. Stolas came out, cleaned and dressed in a black turtleneck sweater with a hole on the chest for his plumage and black pants. He sighed softly and looked at Blitzø.
“You sure about this?”
“Honestly? No, I wish he would go away but I know my brother,” Stolas said softly, “he won’t leave even if you say it to his face.”
“Want me to come with you?” Blitzø drew his knees to his chest, “You now, to make sure you two don’t throw punches again?”
Stolas smiled as he walked up to the bed and gave the smaller man a kiss, “Thank you darling but I’ll be alright. Belial is not one to fight the same demon in one day.”
Blitzø sighed and brushed a stray feather away from the prince’s face, “Okay Stols, I’ll be here.”
After another sweet kiss, Stolas left his room and walked to his study. Valac and Malphus were standing by the double doors. They looked tired and very much annoyed, but they gave Stolas bows in respect and opened the doors to let him in.
“Good luck kiddo,” Malphus muttered as Stolas walked past him.
Stolas gave a small smile and walked through the small hallway; he heard Belial’s voice.
“I’m impressed, he really changed father’s throne room to this,” Belial mused, “it was so tacky before.”
An annoyed sigh escaped the owl demon’s beak, “Cut the crap brother and sit down!”
Belial looked at him and sat on the floor criss cross with big eyes.
“Not on the floor!” Stolas yelled and rubbed his temples, “Look at me... I’m yelling at a king!”
No one would even dare to do so, especially the infamous unhinged king!
“Feels good, doesn't it?” he heard Belial and looked to see the hawk demon laying on his stomach, his head resting on his hand and he even kicked his legs in the air, “not everyone has the guts to yell at me let alone hit me.”
“Shut up and sit on the couch!”
Belial jumped on his feet and plopped on the couch with his hands on his lap. He tilted his head and smiled.
Stolas rolled his eyes and sat on the couch opposite of the couch the king was sitting on.
“Alright,” he crossed his arms, “Valac said there was a reason you are here so tell me.”
The king blinked and then became serious in the drop of a hat. Stolas remembered him doing that whenever father would visit and he found it scary at how easily he did that. Belial reached into his cloak and pulled out a piece of paper.
“Before I say anything,” he placed the paper on the coffee table, “sign this.”
Stolas raised an eyebrow, “Why?”
“Just do it Stolas, sign it,” Belial answered, “you’re a fast reader right?”
He was right about that, Stolas looked at the document and saw the words ‘divorce’ and ‘settlement’. Reading it, he saw that it was divorce papers, the very papers he drafted two years ago that Stella refused to sign. There were a few minor edits on some parts, the one that discussed the custody of Octavia and Orion was edited to say that Stolas would have full custody. And the part that talked about settlement was gone, replaced with a form saying that Stolas’ assets were his and his alone.
With a sigh, Stolas took the pen that was on the table and signed it. He doubted that it would change anything but if it meant that he could finally get this overdue divorce over with, so be it.
Once he was done, Belial flipped the paper to him, took the pen and signed it himself.
“And there!” he lifted the paper and made it fade in a small flurry of black feathers, “By the power of me, king Belial of the Ars Goetia, I hereby declare you, prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia, officially divorced from Stella.”
Now that surprised Stolas, while it was rare for Goetic demons to divorce, it wasn’t unheard of, and he knew that both parties needed to sign the papers. He did not see Stella’s signature anywhere.
“I know that look Stolas and to answer your question, I am a king with more authority compared to the other Goetia,” Belial spoke, his real voice came out, “all I have to do is sign a document and it will be obeyed no matter what. And Stella is being accused of high treason so why would I allow her to have anything from you?”
Stolas sighed and waved his hand, “I understand, now please leave if that was all you wanted to say.”
He was about to stand up when he was gently forced down by a magical force.
“Sorry little brother but I wasn't done yet,” Belial said as he pointed his finger at the prince, there was a glowing black aura on his hand, “It’s regarding your sentence and the sentence of the twins.”
Hearing that made Stolas growl, he did not want to be reminded of that wretched trial. He still had nightmares of being separated from his children.
“What is it?” he asked, not wanting to drag this on.
Belial cleared his throat and smiled, “as of my visit, you will get your powers back in six months!”
If Stolas was drinking something, he would have spat it out in shock. But he did make a bird noise in surprise, “What?”
“Yup!” the king smiled and shrugged his shoulders casually, “what happened was your first offense and I did say that I would show leniency!”
The prince blinked as everything he heard set in, in six months, his magic would be bestowed back to him? He will admit, he missed having his powers because it was a part of him, but he learned to live with the empty feeling. He wrapped his arms around himself and began to think but then he realized something.
“But... you only took my magic,” he spoke, “Satan took Via and Rion’s magic.”
“I know but he agreed to give them back too!” Belial smiled.
Now that made Stolas scowl, Satan was not one to agree with small sentences.
“How did you get him to do that?”
Belial snickered, “It’s a very interesting story and- oh! Flashback!”
Without warning, he grabbed the scenery and flipped it to show the fiery hallways of Satan’s domain.
You still know how to do that brother?
Yes I do! Now shut up and watch!
Yogirt hummed to himself happily as he flew down the hall, he had a very good session with Satan and felt that they were finally making progress with controlling his temper. Currently, the sin was in his home gym to meet his quota and the incubus-baphomet hybrid was flying to his room to take a small nap.
Halfway into his little song, he was grabbed his wings and held tightly against a muscular chest, he tried to scream but a hand was planted on his mouth.
“Alright you,” Belial whispered, “You are going to do exactly as I say, and no one gets hurt.”
Yogirt kicked his legs and flapped his wings, but the king was obviously stronger.
“Now, where's the kitchen?”
The little therapist shook his head, he was not going to say anything!
Belial smirked widely, “Oh so you want me to blow out your candle? Okay!”
Yogirt made a muffled yelp, a baphomet's candle was very important to them! It was the sign of their life and if it was blown out...
The king took a deep breath and was about blow when the hybrid pointed down the hall.
“Oh good! See what happens when you do as a king says?”
The little demon responded with a muffled scream, but Belial happily ignored him and walked to the kitchen.
Compared to the dark and fiery hallway, the kitchen looked like a standard commercial kitchen in restaurants. It was white with stainless steel counters with a white walk-in pantry and a large refrigerator. The king smirked and set Yogirt on the counter, but he tied up and gagged him for good measure.
“I’m not a bad guy,” he said with a wide smile, his black eyes and red pupils had an innocent yet malicious glow, "but when your boss messes with my family and ignores my repeated requests for an audience, I tend to get desperate. You understand, right?”
Yogirt made another muffled cry.
Belial opened the fridge and rolled his eyes when he saw the many protein-based foods. Eggs, chicken, salmon, lentils, peanut butter and-
“Is that a live cow?!”
The cow in question mooed in his face, Belial grimaced at the stench of its breath. Shaking his head, he looked at the shelf and found what he was looking for. It was a green carton with pictures of beans on the front.
“Soy milk?” Belial grabbed it and huffed, “Aren’t we bougie.”
Yogirt tilted in confusion, why would king Belial need Satan’s soy milk for? His question was answered when he saw the hawk demon open the carton and pour all the contents down the sink! He let out a muffled scream in outrage, but Belial waved him off.
“Oh hush! It's that stupid lizard's fault for rejecting my numerous requests for an audience,” Belial then reached into his cape and pulled out a glass bottle, it was filled with a white liquid. Yogirt’s eyes grew wide, and he kicked his legs in protest much to the king’s amusement, “So you know what this is? Good, you're not as dumb as you look.”
Without a second thought, Belial poured the contents of the jar in the carton.
What are you doing Belial?
Belial looked at the reader with an annoyed look and looked up at the ceiling, “Just watch!”
If you say so.
“Good!”
The king went back to what he was doing.
After he emptied the bottle into the carton, Belial shook it to make sure it mixed with whatever was left of the soy milk. He put it back in the freezer when he heard heavy footsteps.
“And that’s our cue little therapist!” he whispered as he grabbed the struggling hybrid and ran to the pantry, “Keep quiet and watch little guy.”
Yogirt gulped when he felt the talons wrap around his neck, Belial meant business. The king watched through the blinds with bated breath as the sin of wrath walked in the kitchen. He was wearing his usual workout attire and wiped the bit of sweat that was dripping on his face.
Satan went to a cabinet nearby and took out a blender before he went to the fridge. He took out a banana, peanut butter and the green carton.
It took Belial all he had to not laugh and Yogirt wanted to desperately say something but for every time he moved, the talons around his neck slightly tightened its grip.
Without a care in hell, Satan put the banana, peanut butter and poured the milk in the glass pitcher of the blender. He turned it on and blended the mixture while he placed a small cup on the counter. When the drink was blended, Satan turned off the blender and poured the mixture in the small glass.
And then he pushed it aside to drink the entire pitcher. Belial let out a silent gasp and held in his laughter while Yogirt looked on in horror.
Satan let out a satisfied sigh when he was done, he loved his after work out protein shakes. They were perfect after leg day, and the taste wasn’t so bad either. He placed the pitcher down and was about to go about his day when he doubled over clutching his stomach. It churned and he felt an unimaginable pain brewing within along with the need to explode.
“What’s going on?!” he shouted, his wings flared up and he looked at the peanut butter and carton. Where they expired?!
The peanut butter was good but then he smelled the carton and his eyes grew big.
“Real milk?!”
He was not supposed to have real milk! How did this happen?! Satan would have yelled for an investigation but right now, he needed to go to the bathroom, fast!
Without a moment to lose, Satan ran from the kitchen and Belial walked out of the pantry with a smirk. He dropped Yogirt and calmly walked out of the kitchen, he knew where the sin was going.
And he prepared for that as well.
Walking up to a door, he heard pained groans and sounds of stuff being thrown.
“My dairy aids! They're gone!”
Belial smirked and finally spoke, “I can’t believe that the second most powerful of the sins is lactose intolerant! Who would have thought!”
“Belial!?” the dragon sin yelled, “What have you done?!”
“Hey, you kept rejecting my requests for an audience,” the king leaned back against the wall and pulled out a small white bottle, “I was that desperate.”
Pained groans were heard, “If you wanted an audience to help that disgrace of a prince, forget it!”
Belial chuckled, “If I remember correctly, I judged Stolas. But you judged Octavia and Orion, I wanted to negotiate but you kept denying my requests.”
“Why you-”
“Careful,” the king shook the bottle, the little pills rattled and the rage he was sensing subsided, “I’ll give these to you IF you agree to negotiate the return of Octavia and Orion’s powers.”
The door opened slightly, and a red claw came out to flip of the king. Satan growled but then opened his hand in desperation with a pained groan. Belial smirked and gave the sin two pills, he knew better than to give him the entire bottle. Satan took the pills and slammed the door.
Thirty minutes and three flushes of a toilet later, Satan walked out. He was clammy, trembling and there was a visible flush on his face.
“Don’t nobody go in there for about thirty-five... forty-five minutes,” he muttered in defeat.
“Woah!” Belial fanned the air around him; the smell was the definition of unholy, "Man you were cooking that were ya?”
The dragon sin glared at the hawk, but he chose to not set the idiot on fire, even though he wanted to.
“Alright... what do you want?”
Belial’s goofy smile dropped and the idiot gleam in his eyes disappeared. Only those who knew the true king Belial knew that he had that uncanny ability to drop his true personality when he needed to be serious. And it was the serious Belial that those inside and outside of the Goetia feared the most. Satan would not admit it but even he was put off at how easily the king did that.
“I’ll be quick since I am a busy man lord Satan,” even his voice changed from that goofy high-pitched voice to a deep voice, “I know you knew that the trial of Stolas’ lover was sham, a ruse to lure not only Stolas out but also his children out. You did not do any of the proper proceedings during the trial, but I am not surprised, you’re a ‘kill first, ask questions later’ kind of guy but I digress,” he pulled out an official looking paper out of his cloak, “All I ask is that you sign this.”
He showed the sin the document and pointed at paragraph, “Sign here saying that you acknowledge the trial was a sham which will make everything null in void,” he pointed at another paragraph, “Sign here to give me the authority to truly investigate the claims Andrealphus made,” Belial pointed at another part, “Sign here saying that you will give back the twins’ magic at an appropriate time.”
Satan read the document as the king spoke, it looked legit and the points of it were reasonable.
“And sign here....” Belial then smiled brightly, “That says you're a big doodoo head and I’m the best king in all of hell!”
He ended it with an open smile and held out a pen.
Satan fumed and took the paper and pen, “I’m only signing the first three! You're lucky I’m not in the mood to deal with your shenanigans!”
Belial snickered and crossed his arms, “It was worth a shot.”
With each signature, Satan also drew his sigil to make it legally binding. He gave it back to the king who took out a blessed tip to prick his thumb. Belial pressed his thumb by each signature to make it more official; Satan did the same not noticing the smirk on Belial’s face as he did so.
“There!” he shoved the paper at Belial's face, “Those runts will get their magic back as soon as you give back that prince’s magic!”
“Oh good!” Belial used his magic to make a copy of the document, he gave the copy to the sin, “I was just going to visit Stolas to tell him when he's gets his powers back!”
He put the document in his cape and turned to leave.
“Your favoritism is clouding your judgment boy!” Satan growled, smoke was coming out of his snout.
A huff escaped the king’s beak, and he turned his head, “And your arrogance isn’t clouding yours? I was there when you said that stupid claim, here before our true ruler fell?”
The sin growled and clutched the paper; he wanted to attack but he stood there and watched as the arrogant king of the Goetia left his sight.
The scenery was then crumbled up like a piece of paper by Belial and he tossed it over his shoulder before he gave Stolas his undivided attention.
“And that’s what happened!” he beamed, “Just so you know, Satan’s lactose intolerance is a big secret so don’t go gossiping about it, okay?”
The study was silent, too silent.
“Stolas?”
The king looked at the magicless prince in confusion, Stolas was frozen in shock, his white pupils were the size of pin pricks, and his beak was agape. He then blinked and stood up, his knees knocking against the table and he pointed at the king.
“You poisoned a sin?!” he squawked out.
“I did not poison that lizard,” Belial said in defense, he bit at the chimichanga that little butler left a while ago, it was good! He should ask for the recipe to give to his own cook, “I just put him in a situation he couldn’t get out of.”
Stolas’ feathers puffed, “You still attacked a sin! The dragon sin of Wrath! The one who nearly killed Blitzø and took my children's magic! What if he retaliates?!”
“He won’t.”
The way Belial said that with confidence only added to the fear and frustration.
“How can you be so sure!?”
Belial stood up, “He won’t and if he did, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure that he won’t hurt you, your boyfriend or the kids,” he placed his hands on the prince's shoulders, “Isn’t this great though? You'll get your magic back sooner than most who defy the laws of hell, it’ll be as if none of this happened! And maybe we can try and fix our relationship!”
Stolas looked up at his brother, the one who raised him with love and care, he sounded sincere, and he was almost tempted to believe him.
But then he remembered what Belial said to him both at the trial and at sinsmas. A failure and the last brother to be raised. And then he remembered the loneliness he felt after being left behind for twenty-six long years. Sure, he had Blitzø for all those years, but Stolas felt like he lost his support system the moment Belial left him to be king and not once contacted him.
Stolas blinked and pushed the hands off his shoulders, “Did you think that saying all that will make everything better?”
He stepped away with his arms wrapped around him, he rubbed his arm in an attempt to comfort himself, “Well it won’t! Nothing will make the pain you gave me the night you left go away!”
Belial tried to reach for him, “Stolas I-”
"I do not need to hear your excuses. You left me here alone; with no understanding of the pain I experienced upon discovering your absence. I made numerous attempts to contact you, writing letter after letter, hoping for a response. I attended events I disliked just to see you, only to learn that you refused to participate," the prince remarked with a voice tinged with emotion and a restrained intensity in his chest.
The king looked away as the shame set in.
Taking a deep breath, he continued, "I acknowledge and appreciate what you have done for me and my children. Although I feel undeserving, I am grateful to still have this place and my assets. My children, who are the most positive outcome of that marriage, remain solely mine because of your actions, but that is all I can say."
As he looked at his brother, tears welled up in his eyes. "You have said what you needed to say. Now, please leave and do not return. I am finished with that family. Vassago, Valac, and Malphus have always been kind to me, as they are the only ones who genuinely cared about what was best for me and my children."
Stolas then turned away, “This place was your home before it was given to me, you know the where the door is.”
With that, he left the king alone in that grand study, tears threatened to spill as the deep fiery pain coursed through his body. Was this the agonizing pain Octavia and Orion felt when their imprint on him and Blitzø broke? If it was then he understood their sorrow. Stolas walked past Valac and Malphus, not noticing the looks of concern from the presidents. It hurt that he had to push Belial away, but he had to, why should he waste more of his time and energy on a brother who only saw him as an obligation?
Taking in deep breaths to calm himself down and wiping away his tears, Stolas ignored the pain in his chest which had begun to dull and walked back to his chambers. Before doing so, he checked on his two children, they were fast asleep which made him smile. He was glad that at least his precious children were with him and only him. Loona was out again and would most likely be home late as usual, Stolas worried about her going out a lot but had to accept that she was a woman in her twenties. Just as long as she doesn’t stay over at a boy’s house but then again, she might stay over at a girl’s which is just as bad!
With a sigh, Stolas made it to his chambers. Walking in, there was his Blitzø sitting there on the bed in his horse t-shirt and boxers.
“So... what happened?” he asked when he saw that Stolas wasn’t injured and saw that there was no blood on his clothes.
The magicless prince said nothing and began to take off all his clothes before crawling into bed to rest his head on the imp’s lap.
“I will tell you tomorrow... just hold me?”
Blitzø smiled softly and both his arms and tail around his owl. Stolas let out a soft chirp as he melted in the strong arms he loved so much.
Sleep snuck up on them right away.
The next morning.
While Stolas did appreciate Blitzø for helping him get a job, he hated that the imp just had to insist on keeping his stupid alarm clock. Especially on his side of the bed, he hated that twin bell contraption!
The shrill it gave out made the prince groan and he reached out to turn it off. Sitting up Stolas ran a hand through his feathered hair and fell back on the bed. Work doesn’t start until eight so why did Blitzø insist on waking up at five in the morning?
Stolas turned his head to see Blitzø curled next to him, sound asleep without a care in the world. He smiled and turned his body around to get a little sleep and just as he was about to close his eyes, Stolas saw Belial leaning on his bed with his head on his hands.
“Morning Stolas!” he said with a smile.
The scream that escaped the prince’s beak was enough to wake the already dead in the living realm.
Blitzø shot out of bed and grabbed his gun that he kept hidden in in between the mattresses, “Stolas?! What wrong?!”
Was that bitch back for revenge?! Did that stupid Elsa peacock escape jail?! Why did stolas scream!?
He pointed his gun to where Stolas was, only to find him dragging a kicking and screaming Belial to the balcony. For some reason, Stolas was wearing owl print pajamas.
“How did you get this fucking thing on me?!” he demanded.
Belial kept kicking his legs, “You’re a heavy sleeper! I didn’t want to talk to my naked brother!”
“That’s not the point! Get out!”
“But Stolaaaaaas!” the king whined.
With all his strength, Stolas threw the king over the balcony, “And stay out!”
Belial screamed and then there was the sound of a body hitting the stone ground. Stolas huffed and dusted off his hands while Blitzø found himself getting hard and it wasn’t morning wood.
“Darling... I need to know where you hid your grenades,” the prince hissed.
Blitzø nodded fast, "Anything you want babe!”
“Stolas!” Belial’s voice called out, “Can we talk?”
“No!” Stolas shouted.
“You’re not nice!”
Notes:
And there you go!
So whenever you see italic texts that means that Belial messed with the scene. If you see bold text that's Belial breaking the fourth wall. Don't worry it won't be a frequent thing I promise.
Satan being lactose intolerant started off as a joke since he's surrounded by fire and it just kind of stuck.
Stolas getting his magic back sooner than canon was more of a tantrum on my part... and since this is an AU, it matters! Don't get me wrong, I love that canon Stolas is going to learn independence and who knows, maybe he'll get his magic back at the end of season 3. if not... boo!
So as I was writing this, hubby looked over my shoulder and commented that my version of Stolas is basically canon Octavia, I don't know if he's pulling my leg or not but I think I kinda see it. The poor girl is going through so much T^T
One of my friends did ask me why Octavia and Orion never lost their trust in Stolas after everything compared to canon Octavia and it's simple, that stupid party actually help Stolas realize that he was prioritizing his happiness over his own children who saw everything. It was a wake up call and he was able to make things right sooner.
So anyway, Stolas and Belial are basically what canon Stolas and canon Via are going through but with a twist... Belial does not listen to anyone unless it benefits him and he has his magic so yeah....
Hang in there Stolas!
Chapter 4
Notes:
Hey everyone! How are you?
This isn't much of a serious chapter but I does show how Belial is lol. So remember what I said about Belial being a the 'Ryan reynolds' of the Goetia? I really meant it so you'll see a lot of Deadpool references in this.
I was giggling the whole time! I promise, this won't be a regular occurrence!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
In a rare peaceful day in hell.
In the stone courtyard surrounded by the beautifully crafted gardens of prince Stolas’ palace lay a crumbled-up body in a pool of black blood.
It was the body of Belial, the ninth king of the Goetia. It was a pitiful sight; this king was known as the unhinged king of the Goetia. Many have feared him, many stayed away from him, and many knew better than to throw him from a great height.
How pathetic of a sight for this hawk king-
Belial twitched and sat up, wincing from the pain and cracked his neck.
“Okay, I'm taking over this narration!”
Wait what?
The king glared up at the sky, “I’m not pathetic!”
He then turned to the reader, “Hi there! I’m Belial! I’m just your average garden variety king, you’re probably wondering why I was in a pool of my own blood,” he brushed off any dust he had on him, “Well, I was trying to talk to my ungrateful baby brother!”
Belial looked up at the balcony he was just thrown from. Stolas glared at him and bent down to grab something.
“Is that a cinderblock?!”
Stolas threw the block over and it hit the king on the head, his head cracked open, and he screamed.
“OW! Stolas you little bastard!” Belial rubbed his head as it healed while the prince went back to his room, he then looked at the reader.
“Okay, I’m sure you read the last chapter where Stolas threw me off his balcony. Well, that was the first time I tried to talk to him! You wanna know the others?”
I don’t think the reader wants to hear it like that....
“Sorry narrator but I do NOT want to endure the fucked up scenarios you and that crazy idiot you call a husband cooked up for me! So, I'm going give some examples of what happened!”
Belial pulled out a thick script and read a page, “Attempt number 15: Stolas does not like it if you watch him having sex,” he looked at the reader, “All I did was hide behind the curtain and waited for him and Blitzø to finish! Did he have to hit me with that barbed wire bat?!”
He flipped another page, “Attempt number 30: I decided to climb the IMP building since I knew Stolas worked there!”
The scene quickly changed to Belial climbing up the rough brick building, he knew it was crazy, but he had no choice! He didn’t want to scare the other imps in the building, so he decided to climb! He felt like spiderman doing it and even hummed the theme song. The king knew that Blitzø, Stolas’ boyfriend, had a private office on the top floor so he hoped that maybe he could help the king. But when he made it to the top, Blitzø was there at the open window.
“And you wanna know what that little red bastard did?!”
With two fingers, Blitzø pushed Belial back without even hearing him out. He fell back thirty stories, screaming until he fell on an imp’s brand-new car.
Many imps gathered around the totaled car; many were astounded by the fact that a Goetic demon fell from the sky while some were confused to why said demon had the look of defeat on his face.
“I can’t believe he’s still alive,” a woman muttered in disbelief.
Belial turned his head towards her, “I can’t believe you left your house in that shirt!”
He got up and groaned in pain, ignoring the crying imp who owned the car.
“So that was a bust!”
The king flipped another page and grimaced at one scene, “Narrator... you are a sick bitch!”
He turned the page and saw one scene he knew, “attempt 49: Stolas and Blitzø go to the zoo for a cute date. I followed them and Stolas threw me into the wrath bear pit! Blood and limbs everywhere.... that poor little imp girl who cried...”
Throwing the script over his shoulder, Belial plopped on the ground, “Okay I said my piece, you can take over again narrator!”
He laid back in the position he was in and made a funny sound.
Finally, can’t do anything with this guy.
Anyway!
Belial twitched and looked up at the balcony, “There’s gotta be some way to talk to him....
Just then two birds approached him with unamused looks on their faces.
“Sir...” Valac groaned, “He just doesn't want to talk to you.”
“Can’t you respect that?” asked Malphus who knelt down to see if the king was really okay.
The king sat up and rubbed his healing head, “I just want to talk to him! Is it really so hard?!”
“Right now? Yes,” Valac answered, “Stolas made it clear the day we got here; he wants nothing to do with the Goetia family. Vassago and us two are an exception because we want what best for him.”
Belial glared at the two residents, “What about me?! I’m the reason he’s still a prince! Why he can still live in his palace! Hell! He has his kids!”
“True but he’s still hurt from you said,” Malphus muttered, “do you even remember what you said?”
“Eh?” a completely clueless look was on the king’s face which made the two presidents face palm.
“Sir, just go home.”
“Stolas wants you out.”
Belial gave a whine and fell back on the floor, “No!”
Valac and Malphus sighed and dragged the whining king off the courtyard; they were not getting paid enough for this.
Stolas watched the spectacle from the balcony and rolled his eyes, he had forgotten how idiotic his brother was. After watching Valac and Malphus drag him away, he went back to bed where a very away and very annoyed Blitzø was waiting.
“Babe, I’m getting annoyed by that hawk,” he grumbled, pulling the owl prince to his chest the moment he crawled into bed.
Cuddling against the bare chest of his beloved, Stolas spoke, “So am I but I know him. He will not stop no matter how hard I try.”
Blitzø ran his claws through the soft head feathers, "I figured but as long as he stays away from the kids, I'll deal with it.”
Stolas nodded, he could handle Belial if he bothered him and not his children. Loona was not a patient woman, and the twins were done with the Goetia family.
“Although seeing you act violent is hot,” he heard Blitzø mutter along with the very obvious hardness pressing against him.
“Really darling?” Stolas looked at him with an unamused look.
Blitzø smirked, "hey, I can’t help that you look hot when you do that. Grabbing that bird and throwing him out? Punching him like a madman? It's hot! The closest thing you got to being violent was when we were kids and play fighting.”
Stolas huffed and sank down from the imp, “You do have weird kinks,”
“Says the pot Stols,” he said with a smirk and then groaned when that hot mouth engulfed him, “But it’s fine... we’re both fucking weird!”
The owl prince hummed and gave the glorious cock a deep suck. It twitched in his mouth, and he smiled. After giving it as final suck, Stolas sat up and crawled to where he was just above it.
“Yes, we are,” he breathed out, moaning softly when he sat on Blitzø's cock.
Blitzø shuddered at the tight heat of his prince and held onto those supple hips as Stolas bounced on his cock.
“Oh Blitzø..." Stolas moaned, a red blush was painted on his white face plate.
The imp smirked and held him down to grind, thrusting his hips up, “How are you still tight after all we’ve done?”
A frustrated groan escaped Stolas’ beak, he hated it when Blitzø held him down like that. He tried to bat the hands off his hips, but nothing worked, it all but made the pleasure build up.
“Quiet you,” Stolas groaned as he grinded faster, running his hands all over his body, “I’m so close!”
Blitzø smirked and grunted, “Same... Shit... you feel so fucking good!”
They moved faster in a desperate pace, trying to make each other come first. Stolas shuddered and his legs trembled.
“Blitzø!" he cried out as he spilled all over Blitzø's cock's throbbing cock.
Blitzø growled and moved his hips faster until he came.
“Fuck!”
Stolas shuddered, loving the warmth in his body and fell on his body. The assassin hugged him tightly and waited to soften before pulling out.
“The children are going to kill us for being loud,” the prince’s chuckled.
Rubbing his head softly, “They will alright.”
“We need to clean up darling.”
“We should but…” Blitzø’s tail wrapped around Stolas, “too tired.”
“True,” chuckled the prince as he snuggled against his boyfriend’s chest, “I love you Blitzø, so much.”
“Love you too Stols,” Blitzø answered in earnest.
Stolas crawled up and gently kissed his lips. Blitzø kissed back eagerly and then the kiss became hot. Flipping their bodies over, the imp entered the prince again. Just watching his Stolas tremble and trying to keep his voice down was worth the risk of the kids hearing them.
X
In a room of stone with the walls decorated with posters of Nickleback and anime posters there was a large four poster bed with the best silks money could buy. It was an elaborately carved bed with images of demons on the bed posts and grand curtains were draped over the bed.
In the middle of the bed lay a sniffling demon who was reading.
“Narrator! Why are you doing this to me?!” Belial looked up, his black eyes were brimming with tears, and his red pupils were redder than usual.
What are you talking about?
“This!” he shows the script that was titled ‘Talk About a Hard Knock Life’, “Why would Stolas sing that song?! Does he really feel that way?!”
Yeah? He was hurt after what you did.
“I did what I had to do! Do you have any idea what would have happened if I didn’t?!”
I do actually but you were a little mean. Hence why Stolas sang that song, you fucked up birdy.
“Fuck you!” Belial burned the script and fell back on the bed, “I don’t wanna talk to you anymore!”
Okay, whatever.
Anyway.
Belial wiped away the tears that fell from his eyes and began to ponder on what to do. No matter how hard he tried, Stolas refused to speak to him. As much as he understood why, he didn’t want to leave their relationship like this.
“I know!” he said to himself as he sat up, “I’ll ask the kids!”
He always wanted to get to know Octavia and Orion, he never got to properly meet them on their fifteenth birthday(he found out that they still use the gift he sent them which made him happy). And he found out that Stolas doted on his boyfriend’s daughter since she was little so to Belial, she was another niece!
“I’ll try them instead! Maybe they’ll help talk to him!”
Meanwhile back at Stolas’ palace, Octavia, Orion and Loona sneezed out of nowhere.

Chapter Text
“Could you guys be any louder?” Loona growled the moment she entered the small kitchen.
Octavia and Orion followed right behind her, they looked tired, and they were not happy. One would think that their two fathers would be mindful of their noises at night.
“You’re old men!” Octavia muttered, “How are you going at it like hell bunnies?!”
Orion was too tired to say anything, he needed a coffee, now!
Stolas was blushing and had his head down in shame, he didn't mean to be so loud, but Blitzø was very persuasive. Blitzø though shrugged his shoulder and flipped another pancake on the stove.
“Sorry kids! But when two men want to spend time together, they fuck,” he said all to bluntly, “Besides, Via, Rion, you still have some magic. Why don’t you use that to soundproof your room?”
“We tried,” Orion growled as he took a sip of his coffee, “But you can only do so much with ten percent of magic!”
Blitzø plated three plates of pancake, bacon and eggs for the three kids to eat, he and Stolas already ate. Once the plates were set and handed out, the family enjoyed a quiet breakfast.
“So...” Orion’s voice broke the silence, “Why is your brother constantly showing up?”
“I wish I could answer that, but his motives are a mystery to me,” Stolas said, stirring his coffee, “I wanted him to go away after he told me about our sentences, but he won’t.”
Octavia huffed, “I can’t believe we get our magic back in six months.”
“What’s the catch?” Orion asked.
Stolas shrugged his shoulders, “I do not know but I guess we should be relieved.”
He looked at his hand, he had gotten used to his non-magic state but the thought of having it back so soon felt odd.
“Leave it to a couple of royals fucks to act like none of this shit ever happened,” Loona muttered after eating a piece of bacon, “No offense.”
“None taken moonflower,” the prince chuckled, “It is their way after all. I'm just surprised Belial is like that, he never wanted to be king.”
Blitzø took a swig from his iced coffee and asked, “What does he do anyway? Other than being an annoying fuck who took your magic?”
Stirring his tea slowly, Stolas answered, “He is the king of wickedness, lawlessness and worthlessness. From the rumors I have heard and from what I have seen, he makes sure that the members of the Goetia know their place. Any misstep or misspoken word, he puts an end to it immediately with brute force. I have seen Dukes tremble at the sound of his name.”
Blitzø and Loona looked at each other in confusion. Despite knowing Stolas and the twins for years, they knew nothing of the ranks of the Goetia. They were all just royal assholes to them.
“Dukes are second only to the kings, but they have been on good terms with the kings but Belial.... they would rather try to go to heaven then cross him. Hence why he is called, the unhinged king of the Goetia.”
Everyone shivered at that, who would want to go to heaven?
“And unfortunately, we are stuck dealing with him until he gets his way,” Stolas muttered before he took a sip of his tea.
Octavia and Orion sighed, joy they wanted to wash their hands of the Goetia and now they have to deal with a king who looked scary but had the mind of an idiot? Great...
“Don’t worry my owlets, he won’t bother you,” they heard Stolas say, “It’s me he pesters the most.”
As he said that, Valac and Malphus showed up in a plume of black mist. They looked tired and annoyed, but they straightened up when they saw the small family.
“Mornin’ Stolas,” Valac grumbled, he gave the prince the morning paper while Malphus helped himself to a cup of coffee, straight black.
Stolas took the paper and opened it to see what the morning news was, “Good morning, I assume that he gave you both a hard time?”
The two presidents shuddered which answered the prince’s questions.
“He kept complainin’ all night...” Malphus grumbled.
“We don’t get paid enough to deal with his antics...” Valac helped himself to a bowl of oats he found in the pantry.
The prince sighed and looked at the front page, the headline caught his attention.
“‘Disgraced marquis Andrealphus and former princess Stella to be start their house arrest’?”
Malphus hummed in acknowledgement, “that eyesore of a mansion was rebuilt so they are going back there. And because Belial was being ‘generous’ he gave them some of his servants.”
The twins grimaced, those poor imps...
Sensing their unease, Valac spoke, “Don’t worry, they will show up to give them food and leave. They won’t pamper those damn birds and if those two so much as act up, Belial will deal with them. And since Andrealphus lost his powers, he can’t do shit.”
That got Octavia and Orion’s attention, they didn’t know that part.
Valac saw their expressions and knew what they were thinking, “For attempted usurpation of a prince’s power, Andrealphus was accused of high treason against the Goetia family. As a result, he was stripped of all his powers with all his wealth and assets being confiscated to pay restitution for life.”
Hearing that made the teenagers almost snicker, if there was one thing they knew Andrealphus loved more than himself was his magic. He loved to show off his skills at many gatherings and he was boastful at how his magic was flawless like him. To be without it, the twins smirked.
“Well, he better enjoy lukewarm drinks,” Octavia said with a smile, she pointed her finger at the spoon that was in her coffee, small sparks of her magic came and slowly moved the spoon to stir her drink.
Orion had small cubes of sugar move from the sugar bowl to plop into his coffee, “Knowing him, he’s probably crying about it.”
Just doing those small bits of magic was all they could do with their limitations. Having only ten percent of your magic was not great, the limitations sucked. Dad told them that they should be thankful that Satan chose to leave them with that amount, but they hated it. They didn’t understand why they were the only ones to keep some of their magic, it didn’t make sense, but it matter anymore. In six months, all of them would get their magic back and it will be as if none of this ever happened. Typical of that stupid family.
Stolas’ chuckle snapped them out of their thoughts, and they saw a smirk stretch on his beak. The prince was looking at a picture of the disgraced marquis and his ex-wife (it felt good to finally say that) being dragged inside the rebuilt mansion. Andrealphus looked like a mess, his once sleeked back hair was now a grimy mess, his flawless face had deep scratches on his cheeks, forever marring his beauty and his beak looked broken. He was also wearing a burlap shirt and pants, Stolas thought those suited the peacock better than the gaudy clothes he wore. And even though the picture was in black and white, Stolas could see the white pupils in the peacock's eyes, proof that his lost magic. Stella looked the same as she did the last time he saw her, her once long hair was still short and she was still wearing that burlap dress, but she was not yelling or screaming, she looked defeated. Perhaps she finally realized that her own actions caused this. Stolas knew that he was also the cause of this, he was the one who cheated first after all but neither Stella nor Andrealphus had to do this. He was willing to pay a large sum of alimony if it meant keeping them away him and his children. But they chose this so there was nothing he could do.
As for the mansion, it did not look like the mansion Stolas knew. It looked like a fortified prison with stone walls with no windows.
“I did say it was an eyesore,” Malphus smirked, “and I ain’t an architect so I made it a prison. Those fools won’t be to get out even if they want too.”
“A cowboy, an errand boy and a builder?” Blitzø asked leaning his head on his hand, “What can’t you do?”
The cowbird’s eye twitched but ignored the errand boy comment for Stolas’ sake, “convincing an idiot to steer clear from his little brother.”
Valac sighed and a poured himself a cup of coffee, “We’re not going to talk ya into talking to him Stolas, you have our word.”
That made the prince feel better, at least they wouldn’t force him to talk to Belial.
“You know,” Loona asked after finishing her second plate of bacon, “you guys seem to know Stolas a little too well, is it a Goetia thing or something?”
The two presidents chuckled.
“He never told ya?”
“We were his nannies,” Valac answered, “Whenever Belial was busy, we took care of him.”
Stolas blushed, “that was a long time ago.”
“Oh this I gotta hear!” Blitzø got up from the table and ran to the two presidents, "Tell me all ya know about Stolas when he was a little shit!”
“Gladly!” Valac said with enthusiasm in bis voice, “Quick question, does he still wear bunny slippers?”
Blitzø was about to answer let out a laugh, “He sure fucking does!”
With that, the three left to talk about Stolas in his early years with a blushing Stolas running after them.
“Valac! I beg of you! Don’t tell him about the Hawaii incident!”
Loona and the twins watched with amused looks but soon decided to get up.
“Welp, it’s Saturday and I'm not wasting it hanging around here,” the hellhound declared, “I’m heading to Gluttony.”
“I’ll drive you,” Orion offered, “I was going to see Nyx today.”
“Nah I'm good,” Loona looked at Octavia who was looking at her phone, “What about you Via?”
The girl smiled, “I’m staying home, my favorite mmo game is doing an event today!”
Loona huffed with a smile, “I forgot you love those kinds of games.”
“Hey, it’s a good escape from those two lovesick idiots!” the girl chirped.
“I don’t blame you Via,” the only brother of the three said, “I’ll see you later.”
He was the first to leave and Loona decided to delay her outing for a little while in favor of seeing what Octavia was playing.
X
“This one's perfect!” Orion said to himself as he looked at a potted plant he saw at the florist in Gluttony.
After he made the drive to the ring, he began to think about his relationship to Onyx. It had been some time since they started dating and slowly, the young prince found himself wanting to spend more time with Onyx. So much that he would stay at her place for longer than a teenage boy should stay at a girl’s home. And then there was the time he stayed the whole night, dad was so mad when he found out. It's not like Orion and Onyx did anything but whatever.
Right now. Orion picked up the plant, a nerve plant, and walked to the register. He wanted to give Onyx something nice as a token of their relationship and as a way of showing her that he was very serious about them. The Goetia can go up in flames for all he cared, he wanted to live his life and live it with Onyx.
After paying for the plant, Orion turned to leave but he froze when he saw the very tall and imposing king Belial leaning over him with a big smile.
“Hi there!” he greeted the boy.
Orion gulped, his heart as racing and the fear he once had for Andrealphus bubbled to life as Belial approached him.
“Don’t be scared,” the hawk king said with his hands up when he noticed the boy was trembling, “I’m not going to hurt you, I just wanted to ask about your fath-”
...
..
.
Orion ran out of the florist with a potted calathea plant in hand. He jumped on his bike and sped off, leaving behind fallen king who was now face plant on the ground with a smashed pot on his head.
“..... ow......”
The sales lady looked at the scene in confusion, “Um... that pot he took...”
There was money on the table, but it wasn’t enough to pay for the pot the young prince took. She didn’t hold it against him, Orion was always an honest boy, and he was understandably spooked by the king who showed up out of nowhere.
Belial rose up his hand that held a black card.
“Will this cover it?” he asked in a pained voice.
The hellhound lit up at the sight of the bard, only the rich of the rich had that precious card, “That works plenty!”
She took the card and charged it while Belial sat up rubbing his head.
“Please don’t hold it against him your majesty, Orion is usually a good boy when he comes here.”
“Hm?” that roused the king’s curiosity, “He comes here often?”
The florist gave the card back with a nervous smile, she wanted to lie but she knew about this particular Goetic king's reputation, “Well... he’s a regular... he likes to look at the plants...”
Belial's eyes lit up and he began to gush, “He’s like his dad! How cute!”
He remembered when Stolas would run around the gardens with a smile while looking at the many plants. It was a cute memory, but he shook it before he left the store to think.
“Okay... Orion is a bust,” he muttered to himself while rubbing his chin, “Maybe I’ll have better luck with Octavia.”
With that, he disappeared in a flurry of black feathers.
X
“So, what's this game called?” Loona asked with a raised eyebrow.
She and Octavia were in the twin’s study with the older woman sitting next to the teenager while she happily opened her game on her laptop.
With a smile, Octavia explained, “It’s called ‘Metamorphosis Times’, it’s a post-apocalyptic magical world game where you have to have rebuild the magical world and build your own town!”
The laptop screen showed an archer standing in the middle of a town square where many NPCs walking around.
“When you first play this game, you can either be a wizard, a witch, a bard, an archer or a ranger! I’m a level thirty archer who yields dark magic!” the young girl made her character move, “I found this while browsing and I got hooked on it.”
Loona found it interesting herself even though she wasn’t much of a gamer. She listened while Octavia explained what her elvin archer did when she noticed something running towards the character.
“Uh Via? Do NPCs usually run up to your character?”
“Huh?” Octavia made her character stop moving to see what Loona was talking about.
Taking a closer look, she hissed, “What are you doing in my game?!”
Belial stopped in front of the character, panting from all the running and looked up at the screen.
“I know this looks weird but hear me out! Please!”
Loona growled, “This is beyond weird you creep! What do you want?!”
“I just want to talk to Stolas! But he’s being stubborn!”
Octavia hissed and typed on her laptop which made her character point her bow in the air before it shot a glowing arrow. Belial noticed it too late, and he was attacked by a sea of arrows. When that happened, Octavia slammed her laptop shut but the screams of Belial were heard anyway.
When the screams stopped, she opened the laptop, and the girls saw Belial in a pool of blood and covered in arrows.
“How did you get in there?” Octavia demanded.
Belial groaned as sat up and shook the many arrows off him, “It’s a spell I use to play my games,” he looked up with a hopeful look on his face, “I can teach you if you want.”
“No!” hissed Octavia, she grabbed the mouse and right clicked on the king.
“What are you doing?” he asked when he saw the character info pop up and then he saw she made cursor move to the block option, “Wait!”
But Octavia clicked it, effectively blocking him and making him disappear from the game.
“What a freak!” she said as she closed her laptop again, she’ll play the event tomorrow.
“Can’t believe that's the same king who scares the shit out of your family,” Loona mumbled as she took out her phone.
Octavia sighed and decided to watch anime instead, “Oh well, that event is a month long one so missing one day won’t kill me.”
She picked a cutesy anime this time around, it was about an angel who became a lazy slob after entering living realm. It was meant to be a slice of life that gave you a cutesy feeling but for a demonic princess of hell, it was pure comedy. Octavia selected the anime on her anime streaming service after sitting down when Loona sat next to her.
“Loona?” wasn’t she going to Gluttony today.
The hellhound huffed and took out her phone, “I’m just going to party until I get shitfaced and pass out on one of my friends’ couches anyway. I’ll stay home for now.”
Octavia lit up, this was the first time Loona ever called the palace home. And she knew that Loona was not going to admit that she was only staying out of concern for her, it was not her style.
They settled on the floor enjoying the snacks that Octavia kept in the study. They laughed at the antics of Gabriel the angel and her demon friend Vignette.
X
“Damnit!” Belial yelled out after Octavia blocked him from her fortress.
He was in a gaming cafe in Pride, his now new favorite place to go to when he really wanted to get away from it all. He wore an imp disguise so he wouldn’t cause a panic. He was the typical size of an average imp male with short horns, long white hair he tied into a low ponytail and wore a black trench coat over a white shirt, black pants and combats boots. While it could be seen as an exaggeration that he never left his palace for twenty-six years, it was true. Belial only ever left to go to a meeting of the kings because he could not avoid those like how he avoided the other royal meetings. A decision he would regret after finding out that Stolas would go to those meetings in hopes of seeing him.
Exiting out of the game, Belial sipped on the soda he was given and began to think.
“Okay, Octavia is stubborn like her daddy.... Maybe if I talked to Loona?”
Are you insane?
Belial glared at the reader, “Hey! I’m running out of options here!”
You have plenty and one of them is to leave them alone.
“That’s not an option!” Belial stood up still glaring, “Who knows! If I show Stolas that I acknowledge Loona his kid, it’ll show that I can be trusted!”
Or that you are just using her to make him let his guard down. You can’t win this one.
“Fuck you!” Belial stormed out of the cafe, “I’ll talk to her! She looks like she can listen to reason!”
An hour later, Belial crawled out of an alleyway, bites and deep gashes were all over his imp skin. His clothes were torn, and his impish tail was tied into a very painful knot, it was going to be hell to untie that after he turns back.
“Never mind.... she was mean!”
Well did you expect when you corner a young woman? Especially a woman who has a violent temper?
Belial flipped off the reader and face planted on the ground.
Drama queen...
As he lay there, two very annoyed cowboys approached him.
“Ya know,” Valac mumbled with his arms crossed, “Stolas didn’t care that you were bugging him because he could easily kick you out but....”
“Did you have to bug the kids?!” Malphus demanded, “I’ve never seen him so pissed off in my life!”
Belial groaned and rose his head, “I wasn’t going to anything to them...”
“Don’t care! We made it perfectly clear that Stolas wants nothing to do with you!”
The king pouted, “You did...”
“Well, ya got your wish,” Valac grabbed the imp disguised king by the back of his neck, “Stolas said he wants to talk to ya!”
“Really?” Belial asked with excitement in his eyes, and he turned back into his true form.
The two presidents rolled their eyes and dragged him away from the alley.
“Don’t get the wrong idea!” Malphus snapped, “I meant what I said about Stolas being pissed!”
Belial wriggled out of Valac’s hold and rubbed his neck, “It still counts as him wanting to talk so I’ll take it!”
He then disappeared in a plume of black feathers, much to the annoyance of the two presidents who wondered if it was too late to quit. Who were they kidding, they were stuck serving that idiot for nearly thirty years and they were going to be stuck serving until he got bored of having them around!
X
If Stolas had his magic right now, he would have stormed into Belial’s palace in full Eldric form in retaliation for what happened to his children. He didn’t care that Belial was his older brother who outranked him, and he didn’t care that Belial could stupidly defeat him! All he cared about was that his three children told him and Blitzø that ‘brother dearest’ approached them!
Octavia and Orion were already traumatized by one uncle; he never wanted them to experience that fear ever again.
And Loona? He had heard from Malphus that the Goetia thought that he was mad for acknowledging a mere hellhound as his child, but he could care less. Stolas has been in Loona’s life since she was a little girl, it made sense that he saw her as his child! And he was going to protect her from his toxic family no matter what!
Sitting at the small table of his tearoom, Stolas downed his third cup of tea and slammed the cup on the table. Blitzø had taken everyone to Freddy’s to ease their nerves since Belial did scare them. Loona was the most rattled because he was in disguise, Belial loved disguising himself. It was a way for him to prank the servants whenever he wanted to play hooky from his lessons, Stolas knew it all too well and once found his brother’s antics funny.
But now?
He didn’t know anymore.
“I know you’re behind me brother so knock it off!” he hissed, not even bothering to turn his head.
Belial smirked playfully and appeared on the other side of the small table, “Your senses are still sharp I see!”
“That is because I learned the hard way that letting my guard down was not the best of habits!” Stolas growled, “now then... do tell me why you are approaching my children!”
He stood up from his seat, his feathers bristled in furry, and he wished he had a sliver of his magic right now.
Belial blinked and poured himself a cup of tea, he was never a fan of tea, but he drank it because of the health benefits.
“Yeah, sorry about that...” he apologized, “I really wanted to talk to them and well...”
Stolas huffed and sat down, “All of my children are off limits.”
“Noted.”
Just hearing the king’s casual response made the prince’s eye twitch.
“Why do you even try?”
Belial looked up from his tea with a clueless look on his face, “Eh?”
“I made it clear on sinsmas eve that I wanted nothing to do with you and yet, you constantly show up here and act as if nothing happened!”
Stolas slammed a closed fist on the table, the tea pot and cup rattled from the force of it.
“Where the fuck was this for the past twenty-six years?!” his voice hitched a bit as the sadness he tried to suppress leaked out, “You seem to have a lot of free time to pester me so why didn’t you visit me after you left?!”
Belial was silent and he placed his cup down, he turned his head away, “You wouldn’t understand...”
The prince responded with a dismissive gesture, rose from his seat, and began to walk away. “I assure you, brother, I understand quite well,” Stolas remarked, offering a slight, deliberate shrug. “You were preoccupied with your responsibilities as king, and I cannot fault you for that. After all, our father required his eldest son to guide his many sons, and when the opportunity arose for you to ascend the throne that was saved for you, you accepted without hesitation.”
Belial clenched his fists, and he shook.
“I remember you saying that you didn’t have a choice the night you left but based on the fact that you never once visited me, it is safe to say that you were only saying that just get me to stop crying,” Stolas said with a bitter smile, “Heh, I was just an obligation after all. The last brat to be raised by the unhinged king who is happily enjoying his title while harassing said brat after stealing his magic.”
He laughed in the same mocking laugh he used to use a long time ago, “It must be so nice to be a king, you can do whatever you want. It is what you wanted after-”
Large hands grabbed him by the shoulders and a dark presence loomed over Stolas; he looked up to see a seething king Belial glaring daggers at him.
“Do you honestly believe that I wanted to be king?” he asked, gone was his high pitched voice and his deep raspy voice hissed out, “That I wanted to sit on that damn throne surrounded by those old fucks who have been kings ever since the Great Fall?!”
Fear washed over Stolas, but he swallowed it, and he pushed the king away.
“Do not give me that! You are a king! You have more privilege than any of us! You could have visited me anytime you wanted!” tears were welling up in his eyes, his white pupils were the size of pinpricks and the fiery pain in his chest erupted, “But you didn’t! You left me here! Alone! You are acting as if you didn’t have a choice to be king!”
“Because I didn’t!” Belial roared, his voice was layered, and the room shook from sheer force of his voice.
Stolas yelped and stepped back.
“Stolas.... have you ever wondered why our brothers were never around when you were born? Why it was just us in this damn palace?”
The prince always did but he was told that it was not important because of many things.
“Here’s your answer, it was because they were shipped off after they turned five,” Belial said with a wild smirk, “You know that father only cared about how he could make us his little princes, marquis and earls to boost his standing. So once a brother turned five, they were sent off to who knows where! You were the last to be raised by me, the one who would give me my chance to be king! I was supposed to have left you the moment you turned five!”
Stolas blinked in confusion; he did not remember hearing talks about Belial leaving when he was five.
“Of course you wouldn’t know,” Belial hissed, he knew what the younger brother was thinking, “You were mourning your mother! So, I stayed! I did it for you! I defied father to stay with you! You were my favorite!”
Hearing that made the youngest snarl, “Oh I was your favorite?! Don’t make me laugh! You hated me! You never replied to any of my letters!”
Belial grabbed his shoulders, the grip was firm but not painful, “I did reply to you! I even sent you packages!”
“Liar! I got nothing from you!” Stolas slapped the hands away and stepped back rubbing his arms, “You discarded me like everyone else in that damn family! And the first thing you say about me at that trial was that I was a failure!”
All the emotions he felt began to overwhelm him and Stolas fell to his knees; his tears fell from all four of his eyes as a result. The pain his chest was crippling, and he let out broken sobs. Deep in his anguish, Stolas did not notice that Belial had vanished, nor did he notice that Valac and Malphus tending to him while Blitzø who had returned home, tried to get the owl to do his breathing exercises.

And there you go!
Paimon was a real piece of work I tell ya...
Chapter Text
The shrills cries of the youngest brother echoed throughout the marble halls of the palace as a long figure walked the lonely walk towards the nursery.
“I can’t....” the teenager mumbled to himself, “I can’t do this anymore...”
For ten years since he was five, Belial was told that he was going to be king but if that were true, why was he forced to raise his many brothers? Why did he have to stand by and watch them get their titles while he, the oldest brother, got nothing?! It wasn’t fair!
And now?
Father told him that this one brother would be the last one?!
Why?!
The baby’s cries grew louder, and Belial’s ears were ringing. He couldn’t take it anymore!
Once he was in front of the nursery door, he took out the glowing white holy dagger he bought from the black market. No one knew about this, and he was going to make sure of it.
“Sorry kid,” Belial gulped, his hand was trembling, but his mind was made up.
Being part of the Goetia family meant you had to survive. No one would care if one baby was gone anyway.
Walking into the nursery filled with toys and colors of purple and lavender, the teenager walked up to the extravagant cradle where the source of the screams lay bundled up. Belial took in shaky breaths and looked inside the cradle.
The baby, a wrinkly little monster, was screeching his little head off. Belial could only glare at him and raised the dagger, he was doing this brat a service, father doesn’t even remember his sons’ names so he wouldn’t notice.
Just as Belial was about to strike, the baby stopped crying. Instead, he opened his eyes, a bright red, blinked at the hawk demon curiously and then... smiled.
“Huh?”
The baby chick giggled and reached for the hawk with pure innocent glee. Belial froze, was this baby smiling at him or the dagger? Because none of his brother smiled at him, they either cried or runaway if he so much as looked at him. But this one was smiling at him as he was his favorite person.
Something in his chest fluttered at the sight of the baby smiling at him. Putting the dagger away, Belial stepped back to leave but the baby began to cry again.
“Huh?” he looked back at the baby who smiled again.
He giggled and reached for him again with grabby hands, Belial didn’t know why but he gave the baby a finger making sure the baby didn’t snap his sharp beak at them. Baby Stolas held it and let out a high-pitched laugh.
Belial had never heard such a beautiful sound in his fifteen years of life.
Shaking the memory long ago away, Belial sharpened his third pencil and began to write again. He was sitting at his desk in his chambers writing as much as he could without being distracted. Bitter tears fell from his eyes as he did so, he was angry, and he was hurt but mostly angry.
Stolas said he never got a reply from the many letters he sent to him for years.
Impossible!
He sent many replies and he even sent presents!
He made sure that Valac sent them straight to the palace!
That is... until Stolas told him that he got nothing!
Belial will admit that he was not the smartest demon within the Goetia but he knew for a fact that there was only demon who did everything and anything to keep the brothers apart.
King Paimon of the ars Goetia.
“Father... you bastard!” the king bit out.
It was bad enough that Belial was forced to leave the only good thing in his life behind, but did Paimon have to interfere with his and Stolas’ attempts to stay in touch?
Was it really that bad that he loved Stolas so much? Was it?!
Belial still could not forgive Paimon for what happened the day Stolas got married. He had sent a letter to him, begging Belial to stop the wedding. Belial had the authority to do so, and he would have done it but that day, Paimon told him that there was a kings’ meeting. A meeting that he could not avoid even when he wanted too.
Wiping away the tears, Belial continued with his writing. Occasionally looking at the pictures on his desk, pictures of himself and Stolas when he was just a boy. Why did the sons of Paimon have to suffer so much?
X
A soft hum rumbled in the throat of the baphomet doctor as she checked Stolas’ pulse. She was called by Valac after the prince’s breakdown and by the time she had arrived, Blitzø had given Stolas a tranquilizer to help him calm down. They worked and he was now sound asleep, his chest rising up and down slowly with a worried Blitzø holding his other hand.
“He’s stable but I recommend that he rest for a few days,” she explained to the two worried presidents.
“Well don’t tell us that,” Valac said in his gruff voice.
Malphus pointed at Blitzø, "Tell him, he’s Stolas’ boyfriend.”
Hearing that did make the imp a little happy to be acknowledged but he had no time to relish in it. The doctor blinked and then nodded, she turned to Blitzø and spoke to him.
“I have been treating prince Stolas since he was eighteen and he’s only had two breakdowns, how did you know he had tranquilizers?” she asked, it wasn’t an accusatory tone but one of curiosity.
Understandable since Stolas had done all he could to keep his mental health a secret, only a tiny number of demons knew, Blitzø was one of them. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the small white box and gave it the doctor.
“He gave me these a long time ago,” He explained, “Stolas begged me to keep them from him unless he needed them.”
The doctor tilted her head, “Why?”
Blitzø looked at Stolas with a worried look, “Because he knew that if he kept them, he would want to take them even when he didn’t need them. He didn’t want to do that to his kids.”
He could still remember Stolas giving him the pills and begging him to keep them away from him in tears.
“So, I kept them on me ever since,” he spoke softly, “Every time they expired, he gave me a new box.”
“I see,” the doctor said to herself and looked at the box before giving them back, “I still recommend that he rest for a few days.”
“Right... hey Val? Can you show her out?”
Valac raised an eyebrow at the nickname, but he nodded and escorted the doctor out of the room. Malphus tilted his hat at the pair and left as well.
When they were alone, Blitzø went back to tend to Stolas. He went back to hold his hand gently and caressed his face with the spade of his tail.
“I’m here Stolas,” he whispered softly, “I’m here.”
Stolas made a soft sound and slowly opened his eyes, “Blitzø..."
“Shh...” Blitzø soothed him softly, "Relax, I’m here.”
The prince let out a small smile and closed his eyes, it had been a long time since he last took a tranquilizer he had forgotten how potent they were.
An equally small smile stretched on the assassin's face and leaned down to give his boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. He was going to stay by Stolas no matter what, Stolas was always there for him when he needed him and he was going to do the same.
X
Little black hands grasped and pulled on the fluffy carpet with great curiosity. A giggle escaped from his little beak and he patted the carpet with glee. As much as he wanted to go back in his cradle, Stolas did like the soft carpet he was on for his tummy time.
So engrossed in his little game, he didn’t notice his little imp bunny was approaching him.
“Stoolas?” it called out to him in a squeaky voice.
The baby turned his head to the voice but saw nothing.
“Stooolas?” the voice was on the other side so he turned his head to it but found nothing.
“Eh?” what was going on?
And then the voice was in front of him, “Stoolaas! Why are you ignoring me?”
Stolas turned his fluffy head to the voice to see his favorite toy dancing in front of him but he was more interested in the demon holding it. He smiled and reached for his big brother happily. Belial chuckled and put the toy away so the fluffy chick could crawl to him, Stolas giggled and nested himself securely on the warm lap.
“I guess tummy time is over for now,” Belial muttered softly as he preened the baby’s head gently since downy feathers were so delicate and he never interacted with the other brothers.
Stolas didn’t understand what his brother was saying but he still smiled and reached up to pat his brother’s face. It was something he always did because he liked the warm feeling he would every time he did that.
Belial sighed and gently rubbed the little owl’s back, he didn’t know why he was doing this. He was never affectionate to the other brothers, he hated them with all his being but Stolas... was different. He couldn’t explain why but Stolas was different and he liked it.
Stolas let out a small yawn and snuggled against his brother’s chest, it was so warm.
“Okay, I’ll let you sleep here for now but don’t even think about shitting in your diaper again,” the teenager muttered before he cleared his throat and gently sang, “It always seem more quiet... in the dark...”
The baby gave a soft coo, he loved that lullaby.
X
A soft groan escaped his beak as Stolas opened his eyes once again, that dream he was having was soon forgotten and he tried to sit up after his drug induced nap. But he felt weight on his chest and both arms. Looking around, stolas saw that Blitzø was on his chest purring softly in deep sleep, Loona was on his right arm sleeping soundly, Octavia and Orion were on his left with Orion being the closet to him.
Just seeing them with him made the prince smile with tears welling in his eyes. He knew that he was not in a good place right now and he feared that he was becoming a burden to them. But here they were, holding him and staying by his side made the guilty feeling go away. Stolas felt more motivated to focus on his mental health again, he had neglected it for so long that it made everyone he held so dear to suffer. A soft sigh escaped his beak and decided to go back to sleep until one of his dear ones woke up hungry. He was starving but he didn’t want to disturb them.
Blitzø did tell him that it was okay to be selfish when he needed to be but right now, he was okay being everyone's pillow right now.
Thankfully after a few minutes, Loona was the first to wake up and she smacked her dad awake like she always did while the twins woke up at the same time, they must have shared a dream again.
They crawled out of bed and stretched their stiff limbs when Stolas spoke.
“I need some noise, let’s go to Freddy’s for dinner!”
Blitzø froze when he heard that while Loona, Octavia and Orion perked up.
“Stols? Are you okay?” he asked, did Stolas lose his mind?!
Stolas smiled and fixed his hair, “I am darling, I just need to hear noise right now.”
Blitzø gulped, he hated that place and he knew that Stolas hated that place!
“I hear there's a karaoke spot there with soundproof rooms.we can stay in there while everyone has fun,” the prince said as he grabbed his fedora hat from the bedside table, “Perhaps I should bring my guitar.”
That perked up the assassin, to hear stolas play his guitar? Okay!
“Fine... but don’t expect me to have fun!”
“We’re not dad,” Loona muttered as she looked at her phone.
Octavia fixed her hair, “I love their buffet!”
“Maybe I should see if Nyx is available,” Orion said to himself.
With that, the small family left the room to go out and have fun. It was the weekend anyway and they were working hard at the company so they deserved a little fun.
X
With the final stroke of the pencil, Belial was finally done. He placed the paper in a leather book and closed it.
He wanted nothing more than to storm back into the palace and confront Stolas one more time but he chose to wait until the time was right.
He just didn’t know when.
Notes:
And there you go!
Paimon's is just horrible! Parentification is abuse! It's one thing to help your parents with the younger siblings but it's another thing to be forced to be a parent to your siblings! There was a reason for that while will be explained soon!
I have tried tranquilizers before and those things are powerful so Stolas would want someone he trusted to hold on to them for when he really needs them.
I'll see you soon!

Chapter Text
“Do you see that one Stolas?” Belial asked as he pointed at a group of stars.
Six-year-old Stolas who was sitting on his lap saw the stars and smiled.
“Yes!”
“That’s called the Ursa Major or, according to the humans, the Greater Bear. It’s one of the few constellations you can see year-round compared to the others. If you look closely, you can see the small version of it. The Ursa Minor, the little bear.”
Stolas blinked and looked again to see that his big brother was right, “They’re brothers! Like us!”
Belial wanted to correct him but who was he to ruin his little brother’s fantasy?
“You’re right,” he hugged the owl boy, “although I think the baby bear would listen to big bear when it comes to bedtime.”
Stolas pouted in response.
“Don’t give me that look mister.”
Stolas was having another one of his anti-bedtime fits so Belial summoned a beautiful illusion of the cosmos in his room knowing that they helped soothe the boy to sleep. A yawn was heard so it was working.
“Sleepy?”
Stolas shook his head, “No! I’m not! I don’t wanna go to bed!”
Belial sighed in mild annoyance, “Stolas, you need to go to bed.”
He gently preened the boy’s hair, “are you acting up just get me to make these illusions?”
A small chirp escaped the little prince’s beak, and he nuzzled against his brother’s chest.
“Stolas?”
“... it’s embarrassing...”
The hawk huffed softly and hugged his little brother close, “The word ‘embarrassing’ doesn’t exist with me, what’s wrong?”
Stolas wouldn’t look up, but he tightened his grip on the shirt white shirt his brother was wearing.
“Nightmare...” he answered after a long time.
“Hm?” Belial tilted his head, “What was it about?”
A soft sigh was heard when the boy spoke, “I keep dreaming about a scary lady in white yelling at me. She keeps saying I’m nothing but pathetic and an embarrassment... she sounded so real...”
Belial listened but he had an uneasy feeling, the way Stolas described his nightmare felt off. He's had nightmares before, but they were mostly about monsters under his bed or the scary bat in his closet. But this nightmare was different, it did sound real and it worried Belial. He was told that Stolas was going to tell prophecies when he was older a long time ago, was he tapping into that in his sleep?
“I kept crying for you, but you never came...” Stolas sniffled.
Never mind, it was just a bad dream.
“Why would I not come to you if you called?” Belial asked his little brother, he made him look at him, “Listen Stolas, I will always be there if and when you need me. Just say the word and I’ll be right there by your side.”
The boy still had a small pout, “But what if you can’t?”
“Not even the exorcists that come here every year will keep me away,” Belial assured him, “because not matter what, I will always here for my special little brother.”
He nuzzled his beak against Stolas’ head gently much to the boy’s delight and began to sing.
“It always seems more quiet... in the dark...”
Stolas smiled, he loved that lullaby especially since his big brother often changed the lyrics to fit whatever happened. He was so creative, and Stolas loved it!
“It always feels so stark,” Belial waved his free hand to change the illusion from the constellations to their usual illusion of the beautiful rich violet of a calm space, “As silence grows from under the moon, constellations gone so soon...”
He stood up and walked on the moon with Stolas still in his arms, “I used to think that I was tough. I used to think love was just dumb. But when you entered my bleak world, I was in love...”
He looked at Stolas with a smile, the boy blinked and looked at the meteor soaring above them.
“As the stars start to align, I hope you take it as a sign, you will be okay,” the meteor hit a moon nearby causing a beautiful explosion of light, “Everything will be okay.”
Sleep began to creep up on Stolas and he held on to his brother who kept singing softly.
“And if the seven rings collapse, the nightmare will never last. You will be okay,” Belial sang out as the stars soared around them, “When I’m here, you’ll be okay.”
Stolas yawned and cuddled against his brother sleepily.
“And when creation goes to die, we will fly into the skies,” Belial draped the think comforter over his brother who was sound asleep in his warm bed, “Upon the last day...”
The boy curled up in the blankets with a small sigh.
Smiling, Belial turned to leave but not before giving one last look at his adorable brother, “And you will be okay...”
He left the nursery quietly and Stolas slept soundly, he began to dream about flying through space with fun and carefree happiness.
An irritated groan rumbled in the prince’s throat as that memory played in his head. Stolas was not having a good day at the office, two sinners gave him a headache with their demands and Millie threw up on his lunch, he didn’t blame her though. The pregnancy was hard on her and she had just entered her third trimester. Moxxie was no help because he would jump every time Millie made a single sound and everyone was getting annoyed.
Stolas threw his ruined lunch away while Moxxie fussed over Millie.
“I promise Mox!” she barked, “I’m okay!”
“But what if something happened?!” the smaller imp asked frantically, he then looked at Stolas, “what did you bring for lunch?!”
The prince frowned, he always had great patience, but Moxxie was really pushing it, “It was left over Chinese from last night’s dinner. Orange rat with broccoli and rice, I have eaten them in front of Mildred before.”
“See?” the wrathian woman commented, “it was just a random bout of nausea, my mom had the same problem when she was pregnant with my brother.”
“I know but-”
“But nothin’! Mox, you are this close to having someone here hit you,” Millie cut him off, “I’m fine and I owe Stolas a new lunch.”
Stolas shook his head, “No need Mildred, I’ll just have Via and Rion get me an extra bowl of ramen when they come back from their job.”
And, as if on cue, a diamond shape portal appeared in front of the desk, Octavia and Orion walked through with the oldest twin holding a bag that dripped with fresh blood.
“I really don’t get why we end up getting the weird jobs,” Octavia commented with a shrug.
“I don’t get why some women go after married men,” Orion added.
The girl shrugged and used her crystal to close the portal; she turned to greet her dad.
“Hey daddy!”
Stolas smiled and wrote down that the job, a wife of a surgeon who was killed by her husband’s younger mistress, was complete, “Any issues children?”
“Other than the bitch screaming for her life?” Orion asked rubbing the back of his head, “Nothing really for once.”
The prince hummed and instructed Octavia where to throw the head. She did so and went to Millie to fawn over her protruding belly.
“Hey Benji!” she cooed happily as she gently rubbed her hand over the belly (Millie always gave permission), “Are you behaving yourself?”
She felt a little kick against her hand which made her feathers poof in glee.
“He always behaves if he hears you,” Millie grumbled, “But if it’s me or Mox, he kicks up a storm.”
“That’s because he knows that I’ll be the cool aunt when he’s out,” Octavia said with pride.
Orion showed up and also rubbed Millie’s belly, “Don’t forget me, I’m going to be the cool uncle!”
Moxxie watched the scene and shook his head, he could not believe how taken the twins were with his unborn son, “To think that these are the same kids who tore that kid to shreds two years ago.”
“Oh I’m going to make sure Benji doesn’t act like that little shit,” Orion hissed out, “You hear that Benji?”
A flutter was felt and the boy smiled.
Stolas smiled and sent the client a text that the job was done before he took out his wallet to pull out a few hell bucks.
“It’s your lunch time children,” he said as he gave the money Orion, “a potential client sneezed on my lunch, could you bring me a bowl of ramen please?”
The boy took the money with nod, “Okay dad!”
Octavia was already at the door ready to go, “Come on!”
“Coming!” Orion ran after her and closed the door.
Millie looked at the prince with a smile, “Thanks Stolas.”
Ever since she announced her pregnancy, Stolas had been very helpful to both her and Moxxie. He helped them find baby necessities at good prices and he even told them of good investments that would help them just in case Blitzø went on another spending spree. And he was so patient with Millie when she was dealing with her symptoms which were not fun.
“It’s nothing Mildred, go lay down on the couch,” he said while looking at the documents on the desk, “And Moxxie, you have a job coming up so get ready.”
The smaller man pouted and helped his wife lay down on the old couch, “Right...”
Another portal opened by Stolas’ desk to reveal a very satisfied Blitzø and a bloodied Loona who was holding a man’s head in her teeth.
Once spooked of seeing blood, Stolas rose an eyebrow at the sight, “I take it the target did not cooperate?”
“Right as always babe!” Blitzø answered, “But he couldn’t outrun my Loonie!”
The hellhound spat the head out and took the towel Stolas had ready for her, “Going on my lunch break, see you later.”
She walked out of the office just as Octavia and Orion came back with their lunch and the lunch for Stolas.
“Huh?” Blitzø was confused at the third bowl, “someone’s hungry.”
Octavia blushed, “No! It’s for daddy!”
That was weird, Stolas normally has his lunch at this time, and he saw him pack it this morning.
“A potential client sneezed on it, so I asked Via to get me a bowl for myself,” Stolas said calmly as he took the bowl and took out the chopsticks that came with them, “I’m taking an extended lunch break, I’m starving.”
“Whatever you say babe,” Blitzø knew that Millie probably puked on it and Stolas was making up some lie but who cares, “okay team, we’re all going on break!”
“Actually, I have a job right now,” Moxxie rose his hand in attention before he turned to Orion, “Do you have the crystal?”
The boy nodded and took out the priceless gem, “Where do you need to go?”
“A place called ‘New Jersey’,” answered the sharpshooter, “just a garden variety job, I’ll be in and out before you know it.”
Orion shrugged and quickly opened a portal, “Text me when you’re done then.”
“Right!”
Once he was gone, the portal was closed, and Orion started to eat his lunch. He loved how rich the broth was, it complimented the chasu pork wonderfully and the bean sprouts were always fresh. He made a small giggled after he slurped his noodles, so soft and tender it was the best.
“You look so much like your daddy when you do that,” he heard Blitzø say.
Orion looked at him with a raised eyebrow, a dribble of broth fell down his beak “What do you mean?”
Blitzø chuckled and gave him a napkin, “That little ramen shop you kids love is where Stolas and I used to go to when we were kids.”
Stolas let out a small laugh as the memories of his youth came flooding in after he sipped the broth, “Ah yes, I loved going there when I was young. The chef was always nice, is he still there? Or did his son take over?”
“Ha! That little bitch can’t make ramen to save his life! So, the old chef trained his granddaughter to take over,” Blitzø hollered as he swiped a piece of pork from Stolas’ bowl, “he said that he knew who you and Via were when you first walked in his shop. He did ask about you Stols, you practically disappeared.”
A hum was heard, and Stolas slurped his noodles, “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
“Oh yeah!” Blitzø pointed the chopsticks he stole at the owl who wondered if his boyfriend was trying to steal his lunch again, “He said that he owes you big time, that royal tongue of yours saved his ass!”
“What do you mean?”
By then, Loona had come back with wings since she wasn't in the mood for ramen and she sat next to her siblings who were watching the interaction. It was always during lunchtime when they would hear stories of their dads' lives before they came along.
“Chef said that your small critiques made him perfect his food! And now, it’s the most popular ramen shop in Pride!”
Stolas blinked, “all I did was say that the pork would have tasted better if seared before adding them to the ramen.”
“Aaaand that the noodles needed to be cooked in a separate pot and not the broth! You really saved his ass!”
Stolas rolled his eyes and slurped his noodles, “Sure, I’ll try to visit that place sometime. I missed going to those places.”
When he turned seventeen, Stolas was forced to pull away from his friends by his father so he could ‘prepare’ for his wedding. In reality, it was part of Paimon’s plan to ‘reform’ him from those ‘ridiculous’ ideas Stolas had regarding the lower born demons. As a result, Stolas stopped going to his favorite hangouts and the liberal views he developed were all but wiped away for such a long time.
But things were different now, Stolas was finally away from the Goetia and now he can finally be the demon he once was. He was so happy to see that his children had the same views he had as a teenager, although they still had a deep hatred for lust demons. Both he and Blitzø tried to convince them that not all lust demons were sexual deviants, but the twins refused to listen. As much as they wanted to keep trying, they knew that the more they did, the more Octavia and Orion would most likely pull away from them. No way where the men going to go through that again.
Anyway, Stolas enjoyed his lunch while stopping Blitzø from stealing the good stuff. Moxxie sent a text saying that the job was done and Orion opened a portal. He immediately tended to Millie who was passed out on the couch.
Three hours later after four more jobs and two mishaps, the day ended with M&M being driven home and the family going home.
Stolas yawned and looked at his phone to look at a text from Pringles, “Oh, we’re having roasted beef for dinner tonight.”
Blitzø almost salivated from that, "Great! Hope he made a lot because I’m starving!”
Loona and the twins rolled their eyes, Blitzø was always hungry.
The van made it back to the palace in one piece for once and parked at the from steps, Stolas did not care if anyone saw. He was proud to show off his boyfriend’s business.
After getting out and walking up the steps, Stolas stopped at the door when he felt a presence course through his body.
“Damn him...” he hissed as he gripped the door handle.
After two weeks of peace and quiet, Belial had to be here now!?
“Stols?” he heard Blitzø’s voice call out to him from behind, “Something wrong?”
The prince sighed and looked at his boyfriend and three children, “Go in through the servant’s quarters... he’s here...”
Everyone groaned, they should have known that it was too good to be true when that king stopped showing up out of nowhere.
“I’ll deal with him on my own,” Stolas said to them reassuringly, “I’ll be fine.”
Blitzø bit his lower lip, but he nodded and turned to lead the three to the side door. He was worried but he trusted Stolas to get that stupid hawk out of their home fast.
Once they were gone, Stolas took in a deep breath and walked in the palace where he saw a nervous Pringles and two annoyed presidents.
“W-w-welcome back your highness!” the butler stuttered out.
Valac and Malphus looked tired, but they still greeted him politely.
“Welcome back Stolas.”
“He’s in your study.”
With another sigh, Stolas took off his fedora and gave to Pringles, “What does he want this time?”
Malphus shrugged his shoulders, “We’ve been serving him for years and we don’t know what goes on in that idiot’s head.”
“Especially after he locked himself in his room after what happened,” Valac mumbled, “He looks like a mess.”
Stolas was walking up the stairs when he heard that, he stopped halfway to look at the presidents.
“He did?”
They both nodded with the blackbird spoke again.
“Don’t expect you to believe us but... Belial was torn up when he left you all those years ago.”
The prince gulped and looked away, “Thank you for saying that but I don’t believe it.”
They nodded and watched the prince they looked after walked up the stairs. Stolas’ talons clacked on the marble floor as he made his way to his study. His heart was pounding and his hands trembled, but he kept going. He did not want to see Belial ever again, but that stupid hawk would not go away. Stolas did appreciate that the king was the reason that he kept his rank, his title, his wealth and his darling children. He didn’t care about the material goods, he only wanted his children, and Belial was the reason Stolas had them.
But he still said those things at the trial. Called him a failure. Taunted him about how his title and rank were more than two ‘runts’. Stolas did not care if he was called every single vile name in the book, he would have gladly taken any form of punishment for the illegal use of the grimoire, but no one insulted his children.
Stopping in front of the double doors, Stolas took in a deep breath and walked in.
There was Belial, standing in the middle of the study with his arms crossed. His hair was a mess and there were bags under his eyes from of sleep. Valac was not kidding about Belial looking like a mess.
“What do you want this time brother?” Stolas asked in annoyance, the word ‘brother’ left a bitter taste in his mouth, “come to tell me that you actually gave a shit about me?”
Belial said nothing and tightened his arms; Stolas could see that the king was holding a book in his arms.
“Now what?”
Still silent, Belial walked up to Stolas and shoved the leather book in his arms.
“Here,” he spoke for the first time, “I’ll be outside.”
With that, he left the owl alone in the grand study.
Stolas was confused and looked at the brown leather book, he frowned. What was his brother scheming this time?
With a sigh, he contemplated whether he should open it but, in the end, he decided to humor his brother for, hopefully, the last time.
He sat at his desk and opened it, what he saw made him gasp.
The first page was the very first letter he wrote to his brother. The childish handwriting and the little doodles on the page were so nostalgic. Stolas traced the letter with a delicate finger, too scared to ruin it but he felt the traces of magic that was used to preserve it. The letter basically said that little Stolas missed him and that he promised to be a good boy for his big brother. The prince huffed, he was so naive when he wrote that and was about to close the book until he saw the letter on the second page. It wasn’t a letter he wrote but he recognized the handwriting.
“What?”
It was a letter from Belial.
Telling him that he missed him too and that he was already a good boy. He even promised that he will do his best to keep in contact even though being a king was a lot of work.
Stolas shook his head, he didn’t want to believe it. He turned the page and found another letter from him and a reply from Belial.
It was like that with other pages.
One page had a letter he wrote the day he made his first friend and how happy he was to finally have one. Belial responded by saying that he happy for him and told him to treat his friend well.
Another letter was about how Stolas was discovering himself sexually and his fear of rejection from those he cared about. The response from Belial was one of support and that he didn’t care what Stolas was as long as he was happy.
Stolas’ beak quivered, these letters sounded sincere, but he shook his head. Belial was lying! He had to be!
He turned the page at the end and saw the very last letter he wrote to his brother. His cry for help. Begging him to stop his marriage because he didn’t want to get married. Stolas frowned, why would Belial keep this?
He was about to close the book and throw it away when a piece of paper fell out. Stolas sighed and picked it up, was it one of the letters he wrote?
With a sigh, he opened it to see which letter it was and looked over it. Soon the annoyance on his face slowly faded as he read the later over and over.
Dear Stolas
If you’re reading this, it means that you read the book and saw my letters. You probably won’t believe it, but I always had a good memory. I remembered every single letter I wrote back and every single gift I sent. On your thirteenth birthday, I sent you a crystal ball that would show you the galaxies on certain solstices.
Stolas gulped, he remembered that crystal ball. Father gave him that ball on his birthday. No one knew about it except for Blitzø and Fizz.
Father was always against the idea of us being close, so I think he did something to my letters. Because of him, I could not stop your wedding because he called for a king’s meeting. I could not get out of it even when I wanted to. Not stopping that wedding was and still is my biggest regret.
Anyway, there was another reason I had to leave.
The day you turned ten, father gave me the ultimatum. Leave and take my place as king or he would take you away and I would never see you again. You were the only brother I cared about and losing you was a thought I didn’t want. I never wanted to leave you, not once.
The prince’s hand trembled, father really said that? Of course he would! Father would do that!
I said what I had to say but let me tell what I need to say. You know I am not good with verbal words so please read this.
I’m sorry I called you a failure.
You’re not a failure, you took every single blow from this blasted family and still stood tall. You dealt with that bitch Stella’s abuse for your kids and yet everyone still tried to bring you down.
I should never have said what I said when you begged me to let you keep your kids, I have no excuse for it. It was never my intention to take them from you.
One last thing and I really hope you believe me but it’s okay if you don’t.
No matter what you have done the years we were apart and no matter what you do now, I will always love you. I loved you from the moment you first smiled at me when you were a baby.
There was more but Stolas’ vision was blurry from the tears that were falling from all four of his eyes. He hugged the letter close to his chest, crying softly and replaying the words in his head over and over.
For such a long time, he had thought that he was abandoned.
Cast aside by the one family who he thought loved him.
But now he knew why.
Stolas grew to hate his father after he was married off and now that hatred grew. He tried to be a good son; he did everything he was told under the guise that he would see his brother soon. Stolas felt like a fool; he should have known that father was lying. The Goetia was built on lies and deceit, Paimon was no exception, but Stolas still believed him.
What a fool he was.
The prince’s silent sobs and small hiccups were the only sounds in the grand study.
X
Nothing changed much, Belial thought to himself as he looked around the gardens he used to play with Stolas at. He sighed deeply and began to wonder if Stolas even read that book, it wouldn’t surprise him if he didn’t.
Just as Belial was about to cut his losses and leave for good, he heard the door open. Turning around, Belial saw Stolas walking out of the door with his arms wrapped around himself.
They both said nothing, but Stolas did approach his brother slowly. They were within arm's length when the prince ran to him, wrapping his arms around him like a child and buried his face in his chest like he used to when he was a boy. Belial stumbled for moment, but he smiled and wrapped his arms around his little brother who he missed desperately.
No words were said between the two, but it was fine.
Stolas felt the small burn in his chest finally cool down and he smiled.
Inside the palace, Valac and Malphus were watching the scene with find smiles. Blitzø was standing by them, he was given the full story about the letters, and he actually believed them. Those two birds were honest and had nothing to hide so when he demanded to know why that stupid king was here and they bluntly told him.
“It’s nice to see them hug again,” Valac mused fondly.
“Those two are hopeless,” Malphus sighed.
Blitzø watched the scene and then his eyes widened when he saw Stolas deliver a solid punch to Belial's gut.
“Uh... they’re fighting again,” he yelled while pointing at the two brothers.
The two cowboys laughed, they remembered how those two boys used to bicker.
“Stolas!” Belial’s outraged voice rang out as he was seen putting Stolas in a headlock while punching his head, “we were having a fucking emotional moment!”
Stolas wiggled out of the hold and shoved the king’s head in the fountain pool, “This is for leaving me you fucking peabrain of a king!”
Belial struggled and then grabbed Stolas’ head to shove in the pool as well.
“Alright let’s get those two brats!” Valac ran out the palace.
Malphus followed suit, “Stolas is taller now! So, this is more dangerous!”
Blitzø ran after them just when the two brothers stopped moving.
“Stolas!” the imp grabbed the prince and pulled him out of the water, squeezing his stomach to make him spit out the water, “The fuck!?”
The two presidents pulled out Belial and whacked his back to make him spit out any water.
“Sir....” Valac growled and then he whacked Belial on the head, “How old are you again?!”
Belial groaned and rubbed his head with a pout, “He started it...”
Stolas glared at him, “oh no, you are not pinning the blame on me! You started it!”
“Did not!”
“Did too!”
They tried to lunge at each other but were held back.
“Stols? Will you stop acting like an idiot?!” Blitzø used all his might to keep the prince from slashing at the king with his talons.
Stolas huffed and crossed his arms, “I will when he!” he pointed at his brother, “stops acting like a fool!”
Which was never in the prince’s eyes.
“Why you!” Belial tried to attack but he was pulled back by Valac and Malphus.
“We’ll take this idiot home!” the cowbird grunted; he was getting too old for this!
“Please excuse us!” black bird gave a quick bow.
They disappeared in black mist, taking the screaming and struggling king with them. Now that it was quiet, the two men sighed in relief.
“So...” blitzø spoke after some time, "Does this mean you guys are cool now?”
“No,” Stolas answered immediately before he stood up, dusting the dust off his legs, “It just means that everything I thought was a lie was not a lie. And that father is a complete ass who hates the idea of his sons being close.”
Blitzø knew that all too well, he still remembered the piercing gaze of king Paimon burning holes on him when he would hang out at the palace.
“So now what?”
They walked back inside the palace hand in hand.
“Things will be louder and more chaotic,” answered Stolas, he sounded relieved, “and we have to talk to the children, I’m afraid now that the truth is out Belial will be a constant presence in their live as well.... he’s exhausting...”
“No fucking kidding!”
They met up with Loona and the twins who were waiting for them down the hall. Walking to the dining area, they were greeted with a smiling Belial who helped himself to half of the large roast beef.
“Hi!” he greeted them happily.
Stolas’ feathers flared up and Blitzø grinded his teeth.
“Get the fuck out!”
“My beef!”
And before anyone knew it, Stolas and Blitzø chased Belial around the dining room with the king holding the large plate that held the roast beef.
Loona, Octavia and Orion groaned and sat at the table, Pringles served them diligently as he always did.
So much for the quiet life they hoped for after getting away from the Goetia.
Notes:
And there you go!
they haven't fully reconciled but they will get there... eventually...
Belial is someone who can't say the right thing without messing up but he is good at writing them down.
So... I recommend you listen to Nickelback's song 'Far Away' when you get to the letter scene if you reread this. I see it as more than a romantic song. they used that song for an episode of Cold Case called 'The Ghost of my Child'. it's a sweet scene at the end.
if you haven't noticed, Stolas imprinted on Belial by rubbing his face against his chest when he was a baby. Hence why Stolas doesn't remember even doing it. It's fixing itself now that the brothers resolved their misunderstanding but they will but heads.
See you soon!

Chapter Text
When Stolas and his two children were basically exiled for the Goetia family after Satan's trial, he had hoped that finally he could live his life in peace. Just him, his two precious children, his lovely bonus daughter Loona and his wonderful lover Blitzø. Away from the toxic lifestyle that was the Goetia family.
But...
“Why am I receiving invitations to tea?!” he asked loudly as he looked at the letter he had received.
Stolas had taken time off of work at IMP to catch on royal documents he could still do despite not having his magic when Valac gave him a small stack of letters
The letter in question had the seal of prince Sitri and it was word vomit of high praises for exposing crimes of disgraced marquis Andrealphus and his horrid sister Stella. After that was an invite for tea if Stolas was available.
If Stolas had his magic right now, he would have burned this piece of paper!
“He was there at the trial and actively supported Blitzø's execution, how dare he?!"
The letter did not even offer a sliver of an apology for what happened to Blitzø or his children, just that he understood the ‘situation’ Stolas was in and that he was a ‘proper’ prince who stood tall despite everything.
“Just months ago, he stood by and happily watched me being stripped of my powers, why the sudden change in character?”
Valac looked at him and then looked at the snoring figure on the nice couch in the middle of the grand study.
“There’s your answer Stolas,” he said with a gruff.
There sleeping on the couch without a care in hell was king Belial of the Ars Goetia, the unhinged king feared by all and Stolas’ oldest brother. Stolas snarled and threw a solid gold paper weight at him. It landed on the hawk’s head with an audible crack.
“Ow!” Belial shot up and rubbed his head, “What was that for?!”
“Needed to get your attention brother!” answered the annoyed prince, “anyway, how is it that I’m getting sudden invites from the family?!”
He said as he threw the crumbled-up letter at his brother who read it with an amused look.
“Huh, guess the story spread like wildfire after all.”
“What story...?”
“Easy,” Belial answered as he sat up to explain, “because I got involved in this, everyone thinks you allied with me and because they are scared of me, they want to get in your good graces, so I won’t burn down their territories! I mean look at Andrealphus’ territory, I never attacked a marquis’ domain before so the other marquis and princes are freaking out. Even our brothers are trying to get on your good side.”
Stolas snarled and looked at the stack and sighed to calm himself, “Valac? Take these and burn them if they are invites to tea.”
“Yes sir,” was all the blackbird said before he took the stack, grumbling about how spinless the Goetia can be as he left.
After he was gone Stolas glared at his brother who yawned and rubbed his sore head, “Why are you hear exactly? I do not recall saying you can visit anytime you wished.”
“What?” Belial looked at him with shiny eyes, “but we hugged!”
“Yes, but I am still not ready to fully accept you back into my life!”
“But Stoooolaaassss!”
Honestly, how was Belial the older one again? Stolas thought to himself and went back to his desk. He was still getting used to having his brother around again but he was still nervous around him and kept his guard up.
“Still, why are you here?”
The king pouted but he stood up from the couch, “Wanting to spend time you was one of the reasons I’m here but it’s also for this.”
With the wave of his hand, Belial magicly summoned the grimoire from the desk. What was once a grand book was now covered in dust. The very book that caused everything to happen.
“You said you would give this to me, remember?”
Stolas blinked and then realized what his brother meant. He wrote a letter to Belial on the day of the trial begging for help and gave the letter to Octavia and Orion along with the grimoire. Telling them to open a portal to a certain location and give the book to the first demon that greeted them if he did not return home by nightfall. But instead, they went to the trial to save him and Blitzø.
“I even got the letter,” Belial pulled out the letter from his cape and began to read it, “‘Belial, I know it has been years since we last saw each other but I am in desperate need of help. The children before you are Octavia and Orion, my children. They are in danger, and I don’t know who else to turn to. I will explain everything when I possibly can and if you help me, I will pledge absolute loyalty to you. And I will relinquish my grimoire to you until you deem me worthy of having it back. Please brother, I beg of you. Help my children’. Need I say more?”
Stolas sighed, “I did write that, but I did not know that you were there.”
“Well, that trial was supposed to have been your divorce trial, but that stupid little peacock got to Satan about you allowing Blitzø to use your grimoire illegally. So that dumb lizard changed everything without letting anyone know. I was supposed to have been the judge of your divorce trial, I guess everyone was expecting me to stay home. But even if I wasn’t there, those kids would have been taken care of. Anyway, I’m here to take this with me.”
“Good, I don’t need that anymore.”
Belial sighed and put the book in his storage, “Stolas you’re getting your magic back soon, you need it to do your job.”
The prince huffed and sat at his desk to look over documents, “That thing has brought me nothing but trouble since the say I received it.”
“Regardless Stolas, it was something meant for you to use to do your duties,” Belial explained calmly, a rare thing for him, “not for someone like an imp to use for a business. And Octavia and Orion knew better than to teach him that spell to give him access to the living realm.”
Stolas signed a document, “Well it's over and done with, can you go?”
“Awww!” the king whined, “Do I have to?”
“Yes! Now leave!”
“But I don’t wanna!”
The prince growled in frustration, “I’ll throw you out the window!”
Belial pouted and crossed his arms, “You’re not nice Stolas!”
“Oh whatever!”
Stolas went back to his paperwork, listening as Belial opened a portal and left. He sighed and went back to work. he looked at his phone to check the time, it was almost time for Blitzø and company to come home. He then checked the calendar to see how much time he had left until he would get his magic back.
“Four months,” he mumbled.
While Stolas did trust that Belial would return his magic, he worried that Satan would not return his children's magic. The sin was not known for keeping his word, but Belial was confident that he would.
Too confident and it worried the magicless prince.
“Stolas! We’re home!” Blitzø's voice, loud and proud echoed outside the doors, interrupting the troubled thoughts of Stolas.
With a startled hoot, the prince stood up and walked towards the doors, taking a moment to fix himself in front of the mirror on the wall, before he opened the doors. Blitzø immediately grabbed Stolas and brought him down for a searing kiss. The owl squawked in surprise but happily gave in to the kiss, wrapping his arms around the imp and let out a pleasured moan before pulling aware.
“What was that for?” he asked breathlessly, a wide blush spread over his white face plate.
Blitzø smirked and cupped the prince's face tenderly, "Missed ya.”
“Oh darling.”
The men smiled at each other and decided to be ‘late’ for dinner when Blitzø pushed Stolas back in the study, locking the door with his tail. Stolas was more than happy to yank off his shirt while Blitzø nearly tore off his jacket.
X
“Whatever letter you recive from the family children, burn them,” Stolas said at the dinner table to his two young children.
Tonight's dinner was fried chicken and a side salad. Loona was one her third plate of chicken while Octavia and Orion were enjoying their first plates when Stolas said that.
“Yeah?” Octavia asked, “Is the family trying to kiss up because of your brother?”
“I’m afraid so Via,” Stolas ate a piece of chicken, “they are trying to get into my good graces because the fear Belial will attack them,” he enjoyed the spices on the meat, “I’m saying this because of how they see you and Rion.”
The twins flinched a bit after he said that.
Recently, their dad had told them the full story about why he was married off so young. The Goetia wanted a precautionary addition to the family and Stolas was told about it when he was eleven years old. That was all the family saw thew twins as, precautionary additions, nothing more and nothing less. And it was seen as an unholy miracle when it was discovered that Stella laid two fertile eggs that resulted in twins, a girl and a boy. That was why Stolas kept them away from the family for so long, he did not want them in that environment.
It only made them appreciate their dad more.
Stolas worried about the idea of that family trying to reach out to his children. Especially the ones with sons and daughters their ages, Stolas was never going to let them go through what he did.
Blitzø took a big bite from his chicken, "those royal fucks can fuck a rusty knife for all I care!”
The prince chuckled and finished his plate, “I won’t answer to any of those invites Blitzø. But yes they can fuck a rusty knife for all I care as well.”
“Damn right!” a new voice declared, making the family turn their heads to see Belial enjoying a plate of fried chicken.
Stolas’ eye twitched, “Why are you here?”
“How did he get here without making a noise?” Loona asked herself.
“Enjoying dinner!” the king answered happily.
“Hey dipshit!” Blitzø pointed a claw at the hawk demon, "You still owe me a roasted beef! Hands off my chicken!”
Belial tilted his head at an odd angle, “But it’s so good!”
Stolas stood up and ran to grab his brother, “Out! Out! Out!”
The king responded by dodging his brother and running away with the plate of chicken he stole. Blitzø joined in the chase and grabbed Belial’s feather cape while Stolas grabbed his head.
“Get out!” he yelled.
Belial resisted but he was dragged, making him drop his plate but Blitzø caught it.
“Stoooolaaaaas! I wanna stay!”
“Well, I don’t want you here!” Stolas dragged his brother away kicking and screaming as he was taken out of the dining room.
Blitzø huffed and went back to the dinner table, "Get ready kids because I think this will be our new normal.”
Loona gave a small growl, “great, just great. As if those two cowboys weren’t enough,” then turned to Valac and Malphus who were standing nearby, “No offense, you guys are okay.”
“None taken miss Loona,” Malphus said nonchalantly.
“It’s about time that idiot gets his ass beat,” Valac added while he smoked a cigar.
Stolas came back later to a now quiet table and sat down to enjoy his dinner, it was cold now.
What a shame, the spices were incredible.
At least the deserts, fruit parfaits, were delicious.
X
The clock on his desk chimed, it was now midnight. Stolas sighed, he needed to go to bed soon but he had to finish the paperwork.
When he had his magic, Stolas could easily have had all these documents signed and filed away with the wave of his hand.
“How does Blitzø do this?" he asked himself after he signed another document.
He yawned and contemplated if he should call for a coffee to be brought to him but he didn’t want to bother the night staff who only had small tasks to do. Instead, Stolas patted his face to wake him up and went back to his work.
One more and bed, he would sat himself after looking over one document. But he kept going because he was that stubborn.
After looking at the fifteenth document, Stola decided to take a small break by leaning on his desk resting his head on his folded arms. He yawned again and closed his eyes but not before mumbling.
“He said I get my magic back.. But Satan might keep theirs...”
Soon, Stolas fell asleep at his desk even though he knew that his back was going to kill him in the morning.
Little hoots were heard from his beak, and he shivered from the cold air until a thick blanket was draped over him making the shivers stop. A black hand was then placed on the prince’s head, gently rubbing the feathers that were in disarray.
“Nice to know that you’re still a strong sleeper,” Belial said softly, waving his hand to sort the small mess on the desk.
The papers that were signed were now in a neat pile while the junk documents were thrown in the trash.
Once he was done, Belial looked at his brother with a fond look but then slumped his shoulders, he had heard what Stolas said before he fell asleep.
Being a king of the Ars Goetia, Belial had more interactions with the Sins compared to the Goetia below him who had to arrange appointments. Kings had to have meetings with them and Belial knew that Satan was not one for keeping his word if it did not suit him.
So why was Belial so confident that Satan would give back Octavia and Orion’s magic?
Belial looked at the reader and pulled on the scenery to show why.
But before Belial left, he stopped and turned his head to show the smirk that was on his face.
“Before I forget,” he said in a low voice, “Do give Cleopatra my regards.”
Satan sputtered when he heard that, “What the fuck are you saying?!”
The king chuckled and turned to leave, “Read the fine print.”
The sin did so on the document he signed and sealed fouriosly. At the very bottom of the document, he saw the sentence that made smoke ooze out of his nostrils.
‘I, King Belial of the Ars Goetia, will not inform Lucifer, King of all Hell, of Satan’s sinner brides.’
Belial was just outside the massive palace when he heard the explosive roar of Satan.
He smirked and disappeared in a mist of black feathers.
The scenery was slashed by sharp talons and thrown away.
Belial sighed and looked at his sleeping brother with a smile, he gently rubbed his head before leaning down to give him a kiss on the head like he used to when the prince was a boy.
“The things I do for you Stolas.”
He disappeared before Stolas stirred softly and went back to sleep.
Notes:
And there you go!
I was inspired by the video game 'Dante's Inferno' when I was brainstorming the way for Belial to make sure Satan kept his word. That dragon was so quick to pass judgement and has now issues with lying that there was no way he would keep his word regarding the twins magic. So it makes sense that he even breaks the law that keeps sinners in Pride city. Lucifer in the game and move took Cleopatra, Salome and Helen of Troy as bride and since Luci here I'd shown to be faithful to Lilith , they will go to Satan.
Belial took a great risk in doing that because Lucifer takes that law seriously.
See you soon!

Chapter Text
Stolas let out a pleasant sigh as he stretched his back at his desk after looking at the many financial documents Blitzø had.
“How in hell does he go through so many bullets?” he groaned, he swore that he already went through that month's bill.
“Ya know Blitzø, he’s trigger happy when it comes to a job he loves,” Millie answered with a smile, she leaned forward on her chair to relieve the pressure on her back, she sighed happily, "That feels nice.”
She rubbed her bloated belly; it stretched the large t-shirt she was wearing. Stolas smiled and with permission, rubbed her belly as well he gave a hoot when he felt the little one kick.
“He is so energetic!” the prince cooed, “when are you due again?”
“Two months,” the wrathian woman answered, “the end of August I think.”
Stolas smiled, “That does explain why Via and Rion were talking about wanting to share a birthday.”
Millie giggled, “I told them that it’s up to Benji if he wants to be born on their birthday.”
“I see,” he said with a smile, “Do you have your birth plan ready?”
“Yup! I wanna go natural! Moxxie doesn't like the idea, but my mama did for all of us!”
A hotting giggle escaped from his beak when a portal opened. Blitzø, Moxxie, Loona and the twins walked in the office. They were tired, exhausted and Blitzø was holding a large bag of heads.
“Okay!” he bit out, “New rule: don’t take a job if there’s more target than the team!”
“I did warn you to not take the job darling,” Stolas said with an amused smirk on his face, “Want me to call the client?”
“Please do!” Blitzø threw the heads away and marched off to wash up.
Moxxie was immediately by Millies side, “How are you hun? Sleepy? Do you need a pillow? Are you hungry?”
Loona kicked him in annoyance, “she’s fine fat ass!”
“We get it! It’s your first kid but shut up!” Octavia yelled.
“Millie is this close to biting your head off,” muttered Orion.
Stolas sighed and tried to keep the peace, “Loona, go to your lunch break. Via, Rion, wash up and go to your next job. And Moxxie? Do calm down before Mildred eats you.”
Millie was growling from the constant questions, but she calmed herself, “I’m fine Mox.”
The sharpshooter pouted, “Okay.... are you at least hungry?”
“Starving!”
“Okay! I’ll get you WackDonalds, usual?”
“Yup!”
Moxxie smiled and left while Stolas made a call.
“Hello this is IMP; the job is done.... No, no, thank you for choosing IMP,” he hung up and smiled when he saw payment notification on his phone.
Blitzø came back cleaned and went to his office, Stolas saw a bright light on the speaker that had his name. He smirked and decided to take his break early, he locked the door the moment he walked in the private office.
X
“Welcome back everyone,” Pringles greeted the family politely as they walked in the palace.
After the workday was done, Blitzø dropped off Moxxie and Mille and said that he wanted to enjoy a quiet night at home.
“Hello Pringles,” Stolas took off his fedora to give to a waiting servant. He then noticed the uneasy look on the butler face and sighed, “Who is here this time?”
The smaller imp slumped, “Prince Sitri sir...”
“Oh for the live of fuck!” Blitzø almost threw his gun to the floor in frustration when he heard that, “that’s the third one this week!”
Loona, Octavia and Orion felt that frustration. As of late, they would notice members of the Goetia showing up at the palace with intent on getting on Stolas’ good side. It was annoying and the kids wanted to be left alone.
“Who was here the last time?” Octavia asked, “Naberius?”
Orion shook his head, “it was Marchosias.”
“They’re persistent,” Loona growled.
Stolas grumbled and took his hat back, “I’ll be back everyone… is he at my study?”
“Yes, your highness.”
“Thank you.”
Making the usual walk up the stairs and stopping at the double doors, Stolas took in a deep breath before walking in.
And there he was, Sitri of the Ars Goetia, a prince of hell and one of Stolas’ many older brothers sitting on the couch with a nervous look on his cat like face, he was wearing the same suit he wore at the trial. Valac and Malphus were standing by with bored looks on their faces, it seems that they were used to this.
Stolas took in a deep breath and walked to the couch, “Hello there Sitri.”
The leopard prince stood up to greet him, “H-hello there Stolas!”
He was quick to notice Stolas’ attire, a crimson polyester sweater with a hole on the chest for his chest feathers, brown cotton pants and a gray fedora of unknown material replaced the top hat he once had. A far cry from the luxurious silks he used to wear. Stolas frowned, he could almost hear Sitri’s thoughts on his attire but let it go.
“What brings you here?” he asked as he gave the two president a silent order to leave him and Sitri be.
Valac and Malphus nodded and left, might as well check on Blitzø and kids.
Once they were gone Stolas moved to sit in front of Sitri, “Well?”
Sitri gulped, “Well, you didn’t respond to my invitation to tea. I was concerned since I knew that what had happened was a lot for you.”
Stolas scoffed at the ‘concern’, “Really? I recall watching you stand there while I was trying to defend my boyfriend from the sham of a trial. I also recall how you smirked when I was stripped of my magic.”
The leopard gulped but he sat up straighter, “Yes, I did, and I wish to offer my apologies for that. If I had known about what you were going through with Stella, I would have-”
“Done nothing,” Stolas deadpanned, “when has anyone in the Goetia cared about each other if did not benefit them?”
“W-well...”
“I know why you are here Sitri,” the owl demon leaned down, “You are here because you think Belial will go after you and the others because you think we’re allies.”
Sitri gulped and shook, he never had fond memories of his oldest brother growing up. The way he would glare at him with such hatred and contempt. He still felt that fear at the mention of the king’s name.
“Well rest assure that he will not do such a thing. He is too busy visiting me to waste his time with anyone beneath his level.”
A small meow escaped Sitri’s mouth and looked around frantically, “Is he... Here?”
Stolas shrugged his shoulders, “who knows, he likes to hide his presence when he knows I do not wish to deal with him.”
Unknown to the princes, Belial was there. Sitting next to Stolas slurping on a cup of noodles, he had been there for a while and was enjoying the show. He was so proud of Stolas right now.
Anyway, back to Stolas.
“I am aware of the rumor that I allied with him and that is partially true,” Stolas explained, “I did pledge loyalty to him in exchange for my children’s protection.”
“Oh, I see! Well... um... I did some reflecting for the past few months, and I realized that I hardly know you even though we are brothers. I feel awful for that and-”
“Save it,” the owl demon interrupted holding up his hand, “you are only here because you fear Belial. I have no interest in playing happy family with you or anyone else in the Goetia family. I have cut ties with them already.”
Sitri gulped, “But it is not as if you were banished from the family, you still have duties and responsibilities.”
“I know but I wish to be left alone,” Stolas said sharply and then he had a small smirk on his face, “By the way, it is six o’clock. Belial usually shows up to talk.”
And as soon as he said that, Belial appeared behind the leopard prince. His shadow loomed over Sitri like a predator to its prey.
Sitri yelped and turned to see his eldest brother.
“Oh! Brother!” he stood up in respect of the king, “I-I-I-I was-”
“You were just leaving,” Belial whispered in a deep voice.
“R-R-Right! I mean! Yes! Yes, I was!” Sitri adjusted his jacket and stumbled away with his tail between his legs, “No need to show me out! Have a nice day!”
The doors to the study slammed and Stolas rolled his eyes.
“What did you do to him?”
“Nothing!” Belial answered in his real voice, “I really did nothing, he was always a scaredy cat. Pun intended!”
With a sigh, Stolas looked to see an empty noodle cup on his side, “So you were here.”
“Yup!” the king jumped on the couch with a smile, “I’m so proud of you! I heard you never spoke up for yourself!”
“Whatever,” Stolas the cup at a nearby waste basket, “Why are you here?”
Belial was beaming and he spoke, “Well I was thinking the other day and-”
“You can think?”
“Shut up Stolas! Anyway, I realized that I haven’t taken you to the place you always wanted to go to!” he stood up and sat next to Stolas, “I’m taking you to Freddy’s tomorrow!”
Stolas’ eye twitched when he heard that and shook his head, “Out of the question! I’ve been there plenty of times already!”
“Come on, you begged me to take you before I left so why not make up for lost time?” Belial asked, “We’ll make it a day! Just you, me, Blitzø, Loona and the twins!”
A sense of deja vu radiated within the prince’s body, didn’t he do this to Octavia and Orion when it came to LooLoo land!?
“No!” Stolas shook his head, “it’s fine!”
Belial didn’t listen, he stood up instead and fixed his cape, “It’s settled! I’ll have a car pick you up tomorrow! It's your day off, right?”
“I said I am not-”
The hawk was gone in an instant.
“-going.... oh fuck!” Stolas groaned as he rubbed his temples.
There was a time that the prince wanted to go to that pizza arcade but after a certain incident when he was a teenager, he detested that place. It only got worse when Octavia and Orion revealed that they loved that place and because he was a loving father, he took them every time they asked. And when his moonflower Loona came along, she showed that she loved that place.
“This is not going to go well....”
X
Octavia and Orion burst into laughter and hoots when their dad told them what had happened.
“Children....”
While still trying to control the hooting, Octavia spoke, “Well daddy, you now know how we felt two years ago!”
“At least Via, Loona and I will have fun,” Orion added.
Blitzø grumbled and stirred his stew, "Joy... pure fucking joy...."
“Well... at least you won’t be used as a bodyguard this time darling.”
“Mhm...” the stew was good, the bread tasted good with it, “You gonna do it?”
Stolas huffed, “What choice do I have? Knowing him, he’ll show up and drag me there.”
The men sighed, Stolas was not kidding when he said that Belial was exhausting.
X
True to Belial’s word, a car was waiting for them the next morning and it took them to the pizza arcade. Valac and Malphus stayed behind to look after the palace, lucky bastards.
Loona, Octavia and Orion excitedly ran out of the car when it parked while Stolas stayed behind with Blitzø. He had his arms crossed and forced himself to look out the car to see Belial standing at the entrance of the arcade, he was dressed in a black shirt with the arcade’s mascot on in, brown pants and a bear plushie on his head. He saw Stolas and smiled while gesturing him to come. Stolas groaned and got out with Blitzø who was confused at the sight.
“So... isn’t he supposed to be a scary king everyone's afraid of?” he asked when he noticed that other demons were not fazed at the sight, “Why isn’t anyone freaking out?”
“Easy,” Stolas explained while hiding his face with his fedora, “He’s hiding his presence, only those he trusts can see him.”
Hearing that made Belial beam, “You noticed! You were always so smart Stolas!”
“No, you used to do that when you didn’t want to study. I figured it out when I saw that the servants paid you no mind when you played with me.”
At first Stolas thought that it was because they did not want to disturb him until he asked for juice to brought in and the servant only brought one cup. He also thought it was confusing when the servant claimed that it was only him there while Belial reading nearby. That was when he found out about his brother’s powerful magic.
“So... what are you wanting to do?”
“Easy!” Belial wrapped an arm around Stolas’ shoulders, “We are going to have fun! Brotherly fun! Like how we used to!”
Stolas narrowed his eyes and grumbled, “I’m not five anymore...”
Great, he’s saying the same thing Octavia said when he suggested that stupid trip to LooLoo land.
“Trust me, we’re going to have lots of fun!”
Blitzø held in his laugh as he followed the brothers into the arcade, he grimaced at the loud music and saw Loona, Octavia and Orion talking to another hellhound. He recognized her, it was Onyx, Orion’s girlfriend.
Today must be her day off too.
She was saying something to Orion before she and the girls walked off, Orion walked up to them to tell them that he and the others were going have fun on their own.
Belial smiled, “Do whatever you want kiddo! Was that girl your little girlfriend?”
The boy gulped at the king’s smile; it was little too nice. He remembered Andrealphus smiling kindly at him before he would rub his face against his and it sent chills up his spines.
Belial didn’t notice and reached to pinch his cheek, “Cute- yeouch!”
Before Stolas or Blitzø could react, Orion stomped on Belial’s foot and ran off. Blitzø did notice that the boy reached for something before he ran but didn’t say anything.
“Why is he wearing heeled boots!” the king cried as he hopped and held his foot, “What the hell?!”
Stolas sighed, “Because he likes them and you scared him.”
Understandable since the only uncle his son knew was also his attacker. It was only natural that Orion would get scared at an affectionate uncle.
Belial shook the pain off and grabbed Stolas’ hand who grabbed Blitzø hand as he was dragged away, “Oh well! Come on Stolas! Let’s check out the games! I already bought a game card”
At first Stolas and Blitzø thought that maybe Belial would go for the games aimed at teenagers and young adults since those were interesting. But instead, Belial picked the mediocre kiddy games that the arcade made to appease the smaller children. He used to take Stolas to places like these in the living realm when he was little.
“Look Stolas!” he pointed at small claw machine, “Play it and you get a plushie!”
The plushies in question were plushies of the arcade’s mascot Freddy and there was a sign that said, ‘play until you win!’ taped on the glass wall. Belial used the card to start the game and pushed Stolas to it.
“You can do it Stolas! Go on!”
Stolas looked at him, was he being serious right now?
When he saw the happy look at the hawk’s face, the owl demon sighed and made a halfhearted attempt at the machine.
“A little to the left... almost.... almost....” Belial instructed while Stolas and Blitzø just stood there.
“There! Now press the button!”
Stolas did and the metal claw grabbed the plush, picked it up and drop it in the hole. Belial let out a laugh and grabbed the toy.
“You did it Stolas!”
He grabbed Stolas, took out his phone and took a selfie, “This is so fun!”
The picture showed a happy hawk king and a scowling owl prince with Blitzø standing in the background with an uninterested look on his face.
Meanwhile Octavia and Orion were racing to beat the high score on the rhythm game the loved. The grand prize was a limited-edition Freddy plush; it would only be given to the highest score at the end of a two-hour period. It was almost at the end of the two-hour mark, and the high score was six hundred thousand. The twins worked fast since they decided to go for a fast-paced song and by the song ended, they were flexing their fingers.
Loona who was recording them saw the high score, “Damnit... you guys were so close!”
The twins looked at the screen and saw that they were a hundred points behind.
They both groaned in frustration.
“Fuck!” Octavia growled, “And I promised daddy I would be on a limit with my credit card!”
“When have you ever listened to dad?” Orion asked, frustrated that they failed to beat the high score.
“When he lost his mind after I went on that blind box binge...”
How was Octavia supposed to know that buying five hundred blind boxes to get a limited-edition taxidermy chimera would result in a three-thousand-dollar credit card bill? Stolas almost turned white as a sheet when he saw the bill. He almost took away the card but Octavia, ever the daddy’s girl, promised to go on a limit with her card.
“Well don’t worry Via, I have this!” Orion pulled out a card that neither she, Loona or Onyx saw before.
Onyx tilted her head, “What’s that?”
The boy smirked, “I stole this when I stomped that hawk’s foot.”
Loona snickered, “You’re so bad Rion.”
The younger hellhound sighed, her boyfriend was crazy... but she loved it.
Orion swiped the card and started the game again. Octavia flexed her fingers and tried again with her brother.
“Wonder how Stolas and dad are doing,” Loona asked as she hit record on her phone again.
“I didn’t see the guy, but he sounds weird from what you told me,” Onyx added, “I hope they’re okay.”
“They’ll be fine,” Octavia said without looking away from the screen, “Daddy’s always liked childish games and Blitzø knows when to behave. You worry too much Loona!”
If Stolas was a teenager again, he would have groaned in pure frustration. Now he knew how Octavia and Orion felt when he dragged them to that amusement park. It was bad enough that he was forced to play that idiotic claw machine, but he was also forced to play that ‘whack-a-bear' game, a game that Blitzø broke intentionally. Belial then wanted Stolas to go on that stupid bicycle helicopter ride but that was shut down.
Did Belial forget that Stolas not a little boy anymore?
Stolas was asking himself that as he watched Belial looking at the bear plushie the prince got from that dumb machine.
“Come on! There's still a lot to do! Let’s get a snack!”
Soon Stolas and Blitzø found themselves in a little cafe corner of the arcade that sold ice creams and sundaes.
“When did this place get here?” Blitzø asked as he looked around the area.
It was a pink room with lots of cute posters of the mascot and his little friends and there were pictures of the deserts being served here. Currently, the men were seated at a small table in the corner.
“I think Lady Beelzebub just added this to appeal to young couples,” Stolas answered, he noticed Orion buying a large milkshake before ran off, he must have bought that to share with Onyx.
Belial looked at the menu and ordered a sundae, “Remember how you used to pout when I wouldn’t give you a desert before dinner?”
The prince blushed, “I was a child...”
Blitzø snickered, he could see the growing cloud of frustration over his boyfriend.
“Here you go!” the waitress said with a smile, “Enjoy!”
The assassin was confused that she was so calm around Belial and looked at Stolas, “Let me guess, magic?”
“He has the ability to make people forget they saw him the moment they turn away,” Stolas answered, “he used to prank me with thar ability to see if I could draw tallies on myself.”
Belial was beaming, “Well, enjoy!”
Stolas looked at the sundae and grimaced, the ice cream was a mixture of pink and blue with whipped cream with bananas and gummy bears on it.
“Cotton candy flavored ice cream, your favorite!”
“When I was a child...” Stolas growled.
Blitzø laughed, “Oh yeah! You ate this shit like crack!”
“Shut up!”
Belial happily ate his strawberry parfait as the men bickered, completely oblivious.
“After this, there's a show playing later!”
Stolas and Blitzø looked at him in confusion, a show? The only thing this arcade had in a how was that stupid stage play of animatronic versions of the Freddy’s mascots.
“Brother... that is for children...”
“You can’t serious!”
“I am! I heard those shows are fun!”
Stolas’ eye twitched, was he really going to drag him to that show?! It was already humiliating enough that he was forced to play that childish game but now he was going to be forced to watch that stupid show of singing bears?!
“Afterwards, we can take some pictures with the mascots! Oh! And maybe-”
Two hands slammed on the table and Stolas stood up, Blitzø almost jumped, the sundae he was eating nearly tipped over and Belial stopped speaking. Stolas’ beaked quivered and he shook.
“I am out of here!” he yelled out before he ran out of the cafe.
“Stolas wait!” Belial called as he stood up to run after him until he heard Blitzø snicker, “What?”
“Nothing,” the imp answered with a smirk, “Just thinking that he blew up faster than the kids when he took them to LooLoo land.”
“Eh?”
“Nothing,” Blitzø looked at the king and took another bite of the melting sundae, "Look, I'm still iffy about you but you seem to care about him enough, so I’ll tell you this. I’ve known Stolas since we were kids and whenever he wants to be alone, he goes somewhere quiet. There a karaoke place around the arcade with private booths, he’s probably there since they’re soundproof.”
Belial nodded and ran out to look around the arcade for that karaoke place. It was easy to find it since there was a sign that said, ‘Karaoke Bar!’ on the wall around the corner. Walking in, Belial decided to open every door to find his brother.
“Stolas?” he found a hellhound and an imp and slammed the door, “Nope!”
He opened another door, “Stolas?”
A succubus was trying to rap a song, Belial slammed the door, “Nope!”
He opened the door and slammed it shut, “Gross! Go to Lust if you want to hook up!”
Belial sighed and picked another door and there he found Stolas sitting on the leather couch playing the guitar that was offered for the room. He was in his own world, so he didn’t notice Belial walking until he felt the dip on the couch.
“I didn’t know you could play the guitar,” Belial said softly.
Stolas huffed and kept strumming the instrument, “There’s a lot you don’t know about me.”
The king flinched and then he remembered what happened, he took the bear plushie off his head, “... I guess I over did it...”
“That’s the understatement of the century,” the prince muttered, “you treated me like a child.”
Belial gulped, “I-I’m sorry Stolas, I just… wanted to relive the days when you were a kid…”
He set the guitar aside and looked at him, “well I am not brother. I am not that ten-year old boy who used to run to you with open arms anymore. I am almost thirty-seven, I have children, and I have a lover. I have my own life.”
“I know that” Belial said with a sad look on his face and then looked away, “I just want to be a part of it...”
“That’s rich coming from you,” Stolas bit out before he could stop himself, “.... why didn’t you come back?”
He wrapped his arms around himself, “You became king after you left, why didn’t you bother to come back and visit? There were times I needed you and you were never there, you said you would always be there if I did,” he looked at his brother, trying to hold back the tears, “So why did you never come back?”
Belial bit his lower beak and tried to talk, “Stolas... being a king... is hard. We have more responsibilities than those below us... and... well... just stuff happens... and... it was just... so ...,” he ran his hand through his hair, “Sorry... I’m not good at words...”
Stolas remembered being in this same situation with Octavia and Orion two years ago and now he was the one having the emotional moment with the brother who raised him.
“Was it really the reason why you could not spare a visit?”
The hawk king gulped before muttering, “You wouldn’t understand...”
“What was that?”
“Nothing,” Belial shook his head, “Please listen Stolas, leaving you behind like that was always my biggest regrets and I wish I visited you, but I didn’t. I don’t have any excuses, and I know you won’t forgive me... but can we at least pick up where we left off?”
Stolas narrowed his eyes, “We can’t go back to way things used to be. I’m not a child anymore, I hate this place. I only go because my children love it, I would never come here for a good time, and I hate overly sweet ice creams!”
He wiped away the tears began to fall off, “And what’s the point of everything right now? Are you going to leave again? Leave me behind and never come back?”
Arms wrapped around him, and he was pulled against a warm chest.
“I’m never doing that again Stolas,” Belial declared, “I'm not leaving you behind again. Never.”
Stolas wanted to push him away but a small part of him wanted to believe his brother’s words, so he hugged back slowly rubbing his face against his chest. He may not be a child anymore, but he still yearned for the warmth of his big brother who cared about him.
“So... now what?” Belial asked while still holding Stolas.
As he said that, the door was kicked open to reveal Blitzø, “We get the fuck out of here and get drunk! That's what!”
Stolas sighed and wiggled out of his brother’s grasp, “Hello darling, if we do leave, will the children be okay?”
Blitzø sat on the other couch with a plop and propped his feet on the table, "Yup! Saw them around one of the claw machines, they were using that card Rion stole from big and tall over there.”
He pointed at Belial who had a look of horror, “Wait what?!”
“Yeah, when he stomped on your foot, I saw him grab something before he ran off,” Blitzø explained nonchalantly, not paying attention to Belial frantically pulling out his wallet, “I taught him how to pickpocket when he and Via just starting at IMP. It helps with the job.”
“He took my black card!” Belial cawed out in distress.
Both Stolas and Blitzø looked at him in surprise, Belial had the coveted black card? The one Mammon creates only for those he deems worthy?!
“You little bastards!” Belial ran out of the booth, “Where are you?!”
Seeing his brother act like that made Stolas burst into fit of laughter, it had been so long since he had a good belly laugh.
“Ohohohoho dear!” he hooted, “I needed that!”
He stood up and offered his hand to Blitzø, "Let us look for him before he destroys the children’s favorite place.”
“Oh yeah, if he does, Loona will kill me!” Blitzø laughed.
They got out and heard Belial’s screams even in the noisy arcade. They looked around the large area and saw Loona, Onyx and twins running away from Belial who was chasing them. They ran into a dark room that had the words ‘Lunar Golf’ above the doors, and that made Belial stop in his tracks.
“You still get nauseous walking in those places?” Stolas asked as he approached the king who was now green.
“Shut up Stolas...! Your runt stole my black card! Mammon won’t give me a new one!”
Stolas chuckled and crossed his arms, “Don’t worry brother, they will give it back when they want to leave.”
“Which will take for-fucking-ever!” Blitzø added with a laugh, “they love this place and would live here if they wanted!”
“But my card!” Belial pointed at the golf room.
Stolas grabbed the king by the back of his shirt, “come along brother, there's a BBQ place around the corner I actually enjoy. Let’s go there while the children have fun.”
As he and Blitzø walked out of the arcade, their moment of peace was interrupted by Belial’s tantrum over his stolen card.
“Calm down you big baby,” Stolas muttered, he was glad that Belial hid his presence.
“Hey Stols, there's a new item on the menu I wanna try,” Blitzø said, ignoring the tantrum, "What do you say?"
The prince smiled and agreed, “Of course.”
“Are you really ignoring me?!” Belial screeched, he tried to get away, but Stolas’ grip was firm, “How are you so strong?!”
“I raised three children,” Stolas answered, “One of them is a hellhound, you know how hellhounds are known for their tempers.”
While Loona was a little more well behaved around Stolas, she still had her moments with her temper. Stolas could still remember the bites she would give him.
So, dealing with his brother’s tantrum was nothing to him.
They went to the restaurant and were seated in a large booth where Stola and Blitzø enjoyed large mugs of beer.
“Fuck! I need this!” Blitzø exclaimed with a big smile.
“Indeed!” Stolas smiled and he looked at his pouting brother who didn’t drink, “Come on brother, enjoy yourself.”
“But my-”
“Mention that card one more time, I will punch you.”
The king pouted and took a swig from his cup, the effects of the alcohol relaxed him instantly, “You know, I really wish I can connect with those kids. It sucks that the only family they knew was that stupid peacock!”
“That would be my fault brother, I kept them away from the family because I didn’t want them to be exposed to them. I wanted to protect them from any marriage talks.”
“Don’t blame you Stolas, who wants to get married?!” Belial yelled, he looked tipsy, “Fathers been trying to marry me off for years, but I refused! No one is tying me down!”
Blitzø slid the breadbasket to the king, "Here, I think you're a worse drunk than Stolas.”
Stolas huffed and gently flicked his boyfriend’s forehead.
“Thanks,” Belial swallowed the bread, he liked the warm buttery taste, “So.... what can I do to connect with them?”
Stolas looked at the menu he given, he was eyeing the prime rib that was featured, “Well you start by not following them, it freaks them out. And let them come to you, Octavia and Orion are very curious and will want to know who you are. And since you’re impatient, I’ll give you a cheat card: they love anime too so maybe mention an anime you like.”
“Huh...” was all Belial said as he looked over the menu, he saw that they had a double bacon cheeseburger, “You think they’ll come around?”
Stolas shrugged, “Loona is stubborn, so she won’t easily be swayed.... unless you take her out to eat and pay the bill... Via and Rion are still very guarded so refrain from being overly affectionate.”
“Right...”
Blitzø ordered a nice steak with fries, “Fair warning, all three know how to hide a body.”
Belial gave a narrow glare but shrugged his shoulders, “Whatever you say.”
Meanwhile Stolas sent a text to one of his children where he and the others were. Ten minutes later, they including Onyx showed up with large bags of plushies with Loona holding a large box.
“So....” Stolas asked as they were settling on the table, “You stole Belial’s black card Rion?”
The boy froze and spoke, “I panicked, and I saw it sticking out of his wallet...”
“Mhm...” the prince held out his hand, “Give it here young man, you know better.”
Orion rolled his eyes and pulled put the card from his pocket. It was a card of pure titanium with the face of Mammon on it. Stolas was briefly surprised by the weight of it before he gave it back to his brother.
Belial snatched it and stuffed it back in his wallet, “What did you use it on?!”
Octavia pointed at the large bag of plushies on the floor, “the claw machines and Loona saw that one of them had a Berserk figure.”
Loona showed the box that showed a picture of the main character Guts in his signature armor. Belial let out a hawk’s gasp and looked at his phone to see his credit card statement.
“s... s.... six thousand?!” he croaked.
Stolas almost spat out his drink and looked at the statement, “Children!”
“It’s fine Stolas,” Belial said weakly, waving off the distress, “I was careless, and I
can afford it...”
“Even so! Loona, Octavia, Orion, you both know better than to steal someone else’s money!” Stolas scolded his three children, “And you even put Onyx in that position!”
“I said it’s fine...”
Stolas wanted to protest but Blitzø placed a claw over his beak, “Come on Stols, you did worse when you were a teen. Remember when you stole your old man’s credit card to go on a shopping spree?”
“This is not about me!” Stolas yelped.
Blitzø smirked at him, "Babe, those kids are tame compared to what you used to do!”
Belial perked up when he heard and looked at the imo with great curiosity, “Do tell! I wanna know what Stolas did as a teenager!”
“Oh you are going to have to buy me a shit ton of drinks for that later!”
“Deal!”
The prince huffed and decided to at least pay for dinner; he was still going to punish the twins for the stunt while Orion might get a harsher punishment since he was the one who stole the card. But he knew that Blitzø will gladly remind him of his own little crimes.
Belial did ask about the Berserk statue and, to his surprise, Octavia and Orion happily told him how they were fans of the manga ever since they were allowed to read it. They kept talking until they realized that they were talking to their uncle and stopped.
Belial gave a pout, but he accepted it. At least there was some progress.
They ordered their meals and the teenagers started to talk to each other while Loona texted her friends. Belial ordered a big beer for Blitzø in order to hear stories about Stolas during teenage years while Stolas tried to keep Blitzø's mouth shut about that.
“I even got a picture!” Blitzø took out his phone and opened a folder that had pictures he had of himself, Stolas and Fizz when they were teenagers.
The first picture was of him, Stolas and Fizz standing together with Blitzø flipping off someone off camera. Stolas had his hands on the imp’s shoulder’s while Blitzø had an arm around him, the owl had a weird hairstyle, and he looked a little too cozy next the Blitzø. Standing beside him with an arm around his waist was Fizz being Fizz while holding a cigarette.
“I didn’t know you knew Fizzarolli!” Belial grabbed the phone to look again, “How come you’re so short?”
“We were friends and now it's complicated!” Stolas took the phone back, blushing from how he used to style his hair.
Blitzø laughed and took his phone back, "and to answer your question, Fizz and I were standing on boxes! We took this on Stolas’ sixteenth birthday! We went crazy!”
“Shut up Blitzø!”
Thankfully for Stolas, the food came, and it calmed down the small scuffle between the men. Loona grabbed her plate of ribs and ate them in wild hunger along with Onyx who ordered the same thing. Octavia and Orion ordered their favorite grilled rats and pulled pork sandwiches which were eagerly eaten. Belial happily ate his double cheeseburger with extra bacon while Stolas ate his prime rib, both brothers’ feathers puffed in delight. Blitzø snorted at the sight and ate his tomahawk steak with a smile.
Today may have been hectic but it did seem that things would finally settle down. Stolas and Belial still needed to work on things but today did prove that they wanted to be brothers again.
And that was most important.
As the family ate their food, they did not notice the small group at a table near the corner glaring at them.
They were sinners who had the rare privilege of leaving Pride city anytime they wanted. It was very convenient when extermination day happened. To have such a privilege, the sinner had to have pledge eternal allegiance to the Goetia.
The sinners in the restaurant were wearing hoodies that hid the glowing seals of Andrealphus on their foreheads.
Notes:
And there you go!
Belial would treat Stolas like a kid since the last time he saw him was when he was a little boy. We can plainly see where Stolas gets it from lol
Stolas does have an interesting story when it came to his teenage life, I might write that someday who knows.
I'll see ya'll soon!
Chapter 10

Chapter Text
A silver brush flew across the blue room; it crashed against the tall mirror making it shatter into small piece.
Andrealphus snarled at his shattered reflection, it did nothing to hide his hideous features. His once beautiful flawless face was now marred with scars from where that unhinged king has clawed him. His hair, once immaculate, was now dull and grimy.
“That damn king...” he growled in frustration and sat on the chaise that was by his bed.
The marquis looked around his surroundings and frowned. All of his luxurious furnishings, gone. His grand chambers of silks and velvets were now replaced with just a simple bed of cheap cotton and the chaise he was sitting on.
How did this happen?! Andrealphus was a grand marquis of hell! He was influential in the Goetia! He had everything! Wealth, influence and his magic! Now he had nothing but his title. His wealth was confiscated, he was a pariah to the family, and he was stripped of his magical powers!
Why did that damn king Belial have to ruin everything?!
Andrealphus ran a hand through his hair before he gripped it.
“No… it was Stolas and those brats…!”
Stolas was always a disgrace to the family. If he had just stayed quiet and kept his head down, then none of this would have happened.
Octavia and Orion were at fault as well. They should have accepted Andrealphus’ imprint like good children but instead they acted like he did something bad to them! Those damn brats! They may have been Stella’s children, but they acted more like Stolas!
Speaking of Stella, she had been quiet since the day they were locked in this fortress where Andrealphus’ grand mansion once stood. Not a word, even when the siblings would eat in the plain dining area. Had she given up?! After the years they had been planning to take Stolas’ power?!
As he thought of that, the doors opened to reveal two imp servants pushing a small cart.
“Here’s your breakfast,” the middle-aged woman said with contempt.
The marquis sneered at the attitude. How dare a mere imp talk to him like that?! He could see what was in the bowl, plain porridge with a glass of water on the side. Not even a piece of fruit to make the bland food taste good.
“Whatever,” he barked as he pointed at the mess, “clean this up.”
The servants stood there and looked at the shattered mirror before they left. Andrealphus squawked when they did that, did they just ignore an order? From him?! These plebeians were given to him from Belial, they should know their place!
“Hold it right there imps!” he yelled, getting up from his chaise, “Did you not here me?!”
The younger maid stopped and turned to him, “We did, and we won’t clean up your mess.”
“We only take orders from our true master, king Belial. Not a lowly marquis who did not know his place!” the older maid snapped, “now go eat your breakfast!”
With that, they left the peacock standing there by his door.
“I’m glad we get to go home after delivering food.”
“King Belial is too nice, I'd let them starve!”
Andrealphus squawked, those servants didn’t even bother to lower their voices! He slammed the door and sank against it, tears of frustration formed in his eyes, and he gritted his beak.
He missed his old life, the life of luxury and comfort, where servants waited on him hand foot, where his belly was full of rich foods and fine wine.
So what he was trying to usurp Stolas’ power, he deserved it more than that deviant piece of shit! Stolas was tainting the name of the Goetia! Andrealphus was trying to preserve it!
It was not fair!
In his moment of self-pity, he almost didn’t notice the small bit of paper next to him until he looked to his side. Curious, he took the paper and read the writing on it.
A wide smirk soon formed, and he let out a crow laugh.
“Oh king Belial, you underestimated the servants of your palace!”
Outside the door, a young maid nervously bit her thumb claw and wrapped her tail around herself. She feared the repercussions of her actions, but her mother’s health was very important. She ran off the opposite way when she heard footsteps approaching the door.
Andrealphus hid the note in the gray sweater he was wearing and ran out of his room to find Stella. He found her in her room glaring at the dry toast and oatmeal.
She looked pitiful in those cotton clothes she was wearing, and her hair was a mess. The servants who would come and go always cut it, a form of punishment they claimed since Stella was known for her long and beautiful hair. It was her pride and joy so to have it so short was damaging.
“Stella my dear, look at yourself,” he sneered, “You used to be father’s precious little princess and now look at you.”
Stella looked at her brother, rage was evident in her eyes, and she gritted her teeth. She wanted to scream but she couldn’t.
“Those plebians are gone so why won't you speak?” Andrealphus demanded.
He dodged the bowl of oatmeal that was thrown at him and Stella’s beak moved wildly but no sound came.
“What is going on with you?!”
The woman pointed at her throat and made a cut motion, trying to show that she could not speak even if she wanted to.
“... you can’t speak?”
Stella looked like she was growling, she was denied access to a pen and paper so she could not tell her brother that Belial took her voice. Taking it because her screams were giving him a headache. So now she was mute and angry.
Andrealphus narrowed his eyes but brushed it aside, “No matter, I just received something that will solve our situation.”
The women looked at him and tilted her head, what was he talking about?
The disgraced peacock handed her the note and waited for her to read it.
Stella took a look and gave a small frown.
‘Hang in there master, help is coming soon. The one who gave you this note has agreed to help us deliver messages to you and will make sure that you and your sister are given the things you need. As always, your devoted followers.’
The woman instinctively tried to speak but could not, so she tried to make gestures with her hand, asking if the legions were involved.
“I know that handwriting,” Andrealphus answered, he knew his sister well, “this is from one of the leaders of my cult, he has always been loyal to me so I know he will help us.
Stella frowned and made a gesture to the letter and pointed at herself.
“Oh as if I’ll leave you behind Stella,” the peacock placed both hands on Stella’s shoulders, “I’ll make sure that you get you voice back and your revenge on those good nothings who put you here.”
The woman blinked and then smirked, for a while the servants would show her pictures of Stolas and that imp walking through Imp city with stupid smiles on their faces. How dare that scrawny tig of a man act so happy and carefree while she rotted in this prison?! And then there were those brats. Octavia was seen with two imps at an arcade, one of whom Stella recognized from the trial and another on who was obviously trans. How disgusting, Stella would never associate with such vile things! And then there was Orion, he was seen holding hands with a mongrel! He was too much like his pathetic father!
She nodded fast and wanted to ask who gave him the letter but since she could not talk, she pointed at the piece of paper.
Andrealphus seemed to understand, “We need to wait for that dear sister.”
He pulled her into a hug with a smirk, “Soon, we’ll make sure Stolas pays for making you suffer like this.”
His sister hugged him back; he was always her biggest ever since childhood.
“When that imp who sent the note reveals themselves, I will have them look for that cowboy you hired,” Andrealphus added, “I am sure he will help us since he was granted immunity.”
Stella smirked back, oh she was going to make sure Stolas suffered. She was going to have that imp killed in front of him! And she was going to kill Stolas in front of those brats to teach them a lesson for disrespecting their mother!
It was cruel but they will understand that it was for their own good.
One day they will thank her after she molds them to be proper Goetia.
Notes:
And there you go!
I loved typing down their suffering. It's not much but I hoped you enjoyed it!
See you later!

Chapter Text
The rustling of sheets.
The soft panting between two men.
The sound of skin slapping feathers.
It was simple night of pure passion, where Stolas and Blitzø who have been holding back for some time were now in a tangled embrace in bed. The candles in the room were the only sources of light and it added to romantic setting.
Stolas clawed at his bed sheets as Blitzø's thrusts became urgent and aggressive. The imp gritted his teeth when he felt the owl get tighter.
“Fuck...!” he gritted out, how was Stolas still so tight?
“Oh Blitzø!" Stolas moaned out ever so quietly.
The way he looked at him with such sultry eyes, which were more expressive with his glowing white pupils, Blitzø almost lost control but he gripped Stolas’ hips tighter.
“Stols... you better come soon! Fuck!”
Stolas held in his loud moans and brought the man close to his chest, “Blitzø... so good... I c-can't!”
He trembled as the pleasure he held in spilled out, he saw only white as he fell limp on the bed. Blitzø thrusted harder a few more times until he finally came, his tail snapped on the bed, and he fell on the soft plumage of Stolas’ chest. They laid there for a while to catch their breaths, their heartbeats were still frantic, and the smell of sex was still strong.
“The moment you get your magic back stols, make everything soundproof again,” Blitzø mumbled against the feathers.
“Believe me, I hate the quiet act too,” the prince said as he gently rubbed the skin between the spikes.
They laid there in silence until Blitzø pulled out of Stolas and moved up to give him a sweet kiss before he began to lay next to him. They had to make do with the fact that they could not be loud like they used to in bed since Loona, Octavia and Orion could easily hear them. It sucked and the two men were not the vanilla couple type who would make sweet and tender love every night. They wanted to go crazy like they used to, for Blitzø to tie down Stolas and go all out, for Stolas to whip Blitzø until he screamed and to just say every derogatory thing to each other until they cracked.
After several minutes of silence, Blitzø spoke.
“Hey... let’s go somewhere this weekend,” he muttered, “just the two of us.”
“Hm?” Stolas turned to his side to look at him.
“I know a place in Lust where we can go all out again like we used to.”
A weekend trip? With just him and Blitzø? With all that had happened the last few months, the thought of leaving for a small get away was the last thing on his mind. It was tempting but what about the children? Loona was old enough to take care of herself, but she had a social life and even though the twins were almost eighteen, Stolas was still not ready to leave them alone yet. He still feared of the thought of losing them to the Goetia. Sure, Belial promised that they were safe from them, but he was not a father, he did not know the fear of losing someone he raised. Raising a brother did not count because he left Stolas when he was ten.
“Do you think it wise to leave?”
“Stols, just ask Valac and Malphus and they will love to stay to look after those two. They were your nannies, right?”
Stolas hummed a bit before he nodded.
“I trust them fully in making sure Via and Rion are safe…. Alright, let’s go!”
Blitzø sat up with smirk, “Great! Let's go tomorrow!”
“But what about work?”
“It can wait! Millie is about to pop any day now and Mox is scrambling to make sure the baby room is ready so why not?”
Stolas chuckled and sat up, his boyfriend always had to have an excuse to skip work, “Alright, do I need to pack some clothes?”
The smirk grew wider, “Just that sexy red robe and your preening oils. Clothes are overrated where we’re going!”
The prince chuckled and kissed his beloved assassin ever so sweetly, they fell back on the bed for yet another round. The candles long burned out by the time they fell asleep in each other's arms.
X
“Sure we’ll stay the weekend Stolas,” Valac said after taking a drink of his coffee.
He and Malphus were in the kitchen enjoying a small breakfast when Stolas told them his plans and asked if they could stay at the palace to look after Octavia and Orion. While the presidents were very much aware that the twins were going to be eighteen in a month, they understood Stolas’ worry.
“Thank you so much,” Stolas said with a smile, “I’m sorry to drop this last minute but Blitzø and I-"
“Need alone time, we get it,” Malphus cut in, “Go have fun and we’ll make sure the kids are safe.”
The prince smiled again and ran off to grab the small bag he had ready.
“When was the last time we saw him this giddy?” Malphus asked his old friend as they watched Stolas run downstairs.
“Don’t know,” Valac shrugged, “But it’s nice to see him this happy in a relationship.”
The president nodded and decided to make some breakfast. Octavia and Orion will wake up soon and will probably be hungry.
He made oatmeal with fruit when both twins walked in, dressed up and ready for another day at IMP. Imagine their surprise when they saw Valac and Malphus at the kitchen but their parents.
“Your fathers took a weekend trip so you’re with us,” Valac poured two cups of coffee.
Octavia and Orion rolled their eyes as they took the drinks.
“I knew it,” the girl muttered, “probably wanted to go crazy.”
“It took them long enough to go,” yawned the boy.
Malphus placed the bowls in front of them, he made a bowl for Loona in hope she wasn’t too hungover since he assumed she went out again.
“I guessin’ those two gave you kids a hard time,” he chuckled.
“You have no fucking idea,” Loona’s voice, heavy with fatigue, grumbled at the doorway.
She walked to the nook and wolfed down her share of oatmeal.
“So we’re here to stay with you for the weekend,” Valac explained, “Don’t worry, do as you please as long as you come home before midnight. Personally, I would want you to be home when the sun goes down.”
The twins chuckled, Valac was cool and they could tell that he meant well.
“Don’t worry, we’re not like the others in this family,” Octavia waved off casually, “Parties aren’t really my thing.”
“My girlfriend has the weekend off, so I’ll go to Gluttony for a while,” Orion added and gave the oatmeal a stir before eating it.
Loona yawned and slumped on the table; she was too tired to say anything. Chances are that she would stay home to sleep off her hangover.
“Alright then,” Malphus took back the empty bowls, “Have fun kids, don’t do anything stupid.”
The twins nodded and moved to leave, Loona was still asleep, so Valac decided to stay with her until she woke up.
X
“He’s letting you guys stay the weekend?!” Belial asked with a tone of pure disbelief.
He was in his special room enjoying private time when he received a phone call from Valac. Telling him that he was going to be at Stolas’ palace for the weekend on Stolas’ request.
“Yes sir,” Valac answered, “He’s on a weekend trip with Blitzø and was worried about his kids. Loona is okay since she’s a grown woman and even though Via and Rion are almost adults, Stolas wanted us here to keep an eye on them. So, Mal and I are staying here.”
The king pouted, why didn’t Stolas ask him to stay the weekend? They were talking again! Granted they were only texting each other but Belial always said that if he needed help, he would help no questions asked!
“I know what you’re thinkin’ sir and to answer your silent question, Stolas is more comfortable with us when it comes to his kids,” Valac’s voice interrupted his sad thoughts, “We were his nannies after all.”
“Unofficial nannies!” Belial whined, “You only took the job when I was too busy studying!”
“And by studying, you mean slacking off and giving your tutors a hard time?”
“Shut up!”
He heard a sigh and Valac spoke again, “Anyway, we’ll be back the night after tomorrow.”
With that, he hung up while Belial pouted.
“No fair...”
Belial wanted to be the cool uncle who would let his nieces and nephew do whatever they wanted. But because of Andrealphus, Octavia and Orion were too spooked to deal with family since he was the only uncle they knew which was understandable.
Loona only had Stolas and Blitzø so she was not interested in wanting a relationship with another family member. Not that they would be interested in Stolas’ ‘pet’, Belial made a personal vow to punch anyone who called her that.
“Damnit Andrealphus!” the king sat on his couch and kicked his legs in frustration, “you poisoned them against me without even knowing!”
If it weren’t for the fact that the other kings ordered him to leave him and that bitch sister alone after sending them to their house arrest, Belial would have stormed into that fortress and beat that peacock within an inch of his life!
Since when have you ever stayed in your place?
“Oh shut up!” Belial glared at the narrator, “I’m trying to take things slow!”
So you’re perfectly comfortable leaving them alone? When they are the most vulnerable?
“Hey! Valac and Malphus can take protect them just fine!”
True, they can but what’s stopping a certain cowboy from lying in wait? Waiting for the chance to finish what he started that day when he kidnapped them and their father???
Belial squeaked and ran out of his secret room, knocking over his Ayako Kawai body pillow in the process.
And I thought my husband was a weirdo.
Anyway, back to the story.
X
“Are you sure it’s okay for me to be here?” Onyx asked as she settled on Orion’s bed.
It was decided that a stay-at-home date was today’s plan so Orion decided that they should hang out at his room for a change.
“Don’t worry, as long as I keep the door open, it’s fine.”
Octavia poked her head out the doorway from her room to watch the couple, “It’s kind of weird though since Rion is a good boy.”
“Shut up Via!”
Loona then spoke from Octavia’s room, “Oh yeah! He didn’t see his first tits until he was sixteen!”
“Loona!” Orion blushed; he grabbed a pillow and threw it.
It flew out of his room, and it hit Octavia in the face.
“Rion!” she yelled as she ran out of her room.
She tackled her brother off his bed while Onyx decided to fight Loona who ran in. The twins tumbled out of the room punching and clawing each other while the two hellhounds were biting each other.
Belial, who had just arrived by portal, was standing there in the hallway wearing casual clothes while holding bags of snacks, anime, games and take out he just bought. He watched the scene and gulped. He had experience in looking after kids but teenagers and a temperamental young adult?
“Oh boy...”
He was nervous but he was still determined.
Belial was going to bond with his nieces and nephew before Stolas and Blitzø come home!
X
Stolas shook the shackles on his wrists, they were above his head, and his legs were spread wide open by the silk ropes that were on the large bed.
Blitzø took him to a love hotel in Lust that offered weekend stays with all the toys they had. Perfect for kink deprived men who wanted to go crazy.
So that was where they were, Stolas was naked, tied and aroused. Normally he would have had a ball gag on, but Blitzø wanted to hear him scream.
Said imp was sitting at the foot of the bed, naked, with a smirk and a vibrator in his hand while he rubbed his hard cock with the other. He wanted to use the riding crop, but it had been so long since he used it, so he decided to go easy for now.
“Don’t look at me like that!” Stolas cried out as he struggled against the restraints.
“Hm?”
The prince moaned in frustration and Blitzø pressed the toy against his cloaca teasingly before he turned it on. The surprise scream came out before Stolas could stop it, it felt so good!
“Don’t worry Stols,” Blitzø purred, “the rooms are soundproof.”
Hearing that made the prince wetter than usual, which was perfect for Blitzø as he pushed the vibrator inside.
“Ah!” he moaned as he rocked against the toy, he had forgotten how good it was.
Blitzø smirked and took the toy out and decided to tease his boyfriend.
“Blitzø....” Stolas grunted in frustration and thrashed against the bindings.
“Ya know,” the shorter man teased, pressing the head of his cock against the soft, hot lower lips. Just barley going inside, which he knew Stolas hated more than anything, “I didn’t mind the ‘imp’ comments you used to make, why don’t you say something?”
Stolas moaned as he felt Blitzø's cock pressed against him, why was he being such a bully?!
“Blitzø!"
“Hm?”
The prince thrashed again before he growled, “Take me.... now imp boy!”
Blitzø responded by grabbing the owl’s hips and slammed inside, he let out a loud growl in pleasure, “Good boy!”
He pulled out and slammed back in, relishing the sounds of his boyfriend’s screams and feel of his tight heat.
“Just so you know,” he grunted with each thrust, “This is only the beginning Stols! We. Have. All. Weekend. Long!”
Stolas could not say anything, he was too busy screaming out his pleasure.
He'll let Blitzø have his fun now but once he was out of these binds, he was going to do what he been wanting to do to him for some time!
Notes:
And there you go!
Let's go that Belial will finally bond with the kids!see ya later!
