Boq scanned the cafeteria, looking for Elphaba. When he finally found the emerald-skinned woman, his eyes lit up as he went to go sit next to his friend. "Elphaba," he called out to her before sitting down.
"Boq," Elphaba greeted the beta back.
"How has your day been?" He questioned, hoping the omega was doing okay. She looked okay but he knew Elphaba wasn't the type to show what was wrong with her unless she was exhausted, and right now, the girl looked well-rested.
Of course, Boq could chalk it up to Galinda getting Elphaba to rest more.
At least—
He assumed it was due to Galinda.
The blonde-haired alpha was the only alpha who can intrude on Elphaba's personal space, and not get growled at.
Instead, she usually scowls, and sometimes hisses.
Boq knew Galinda wasn't phased by the girl's hissing.
"Princess!" Galinda said from behind Elphaba, causing the omega to hiss in fright. "Sorry, sweetheart," Galinda immediately apologized, seeing she had frightened Elphaba. "I didn't mean to scare you," Galinda let out a small chuff, causing wide eyes to relax as she went back to scowling.
"Whatever. It's fine. Don't do it again," Elphaba crossed her arms, her food forgotten about for the time being as she tried to calm down her racing heart.
Boq continued to watch Galinda move in Elphaba's line of sight. She knows how to keep her calm. Of course, Boq knew that they were something.
But he also knew they were taking it slow.
Well—
They were taking it as slow as they could with Elphaba already carrying a bitemark from Galinda.
"Are you two still in the courting stage? Or other?" Boq couldn't ignore the new bitemark that was on Elphaba's neck when the girl started to play with the collar of her (Galinda's jacket).
"I don't know what you're talking about," Elphaba quickly responded.
"Of course, you don't," Boq immediately dropped it, feeling Galinda's gaze on him as the beta shivered. "I don't want your omega," he swore. Galinda must have realized the intensity of her stare because she cleared her throat and immediately calmed down.
"Of course, Elphie's mine," she simply said.
And that was true.
Elphaba was Galinda's omega, and no one couldn't say otherwise.

Boq knew that the girl was claimed the next day he had sat with her at lunch. Before he could even ask her about her day, Elphaba spoke.
"I can't feel my legs. That's how my day is going," she was honest with him.
"Aw but you weren't complaining last night, Princess," Galinda chuckled. Elphaba rolled her eyes. "You enjoyed my big—!" Elphaba shoved her elbow into Galinda's side.
"Not at the table," she hissed.
"Oh please, do not mind me, I haven't been listening anyway," Boq was honest as he hadn't been focused on the couple ever since Elphaba said she couldn't feel her legs. He knew it would be improper to ask for details, especially when Galinda was right there. Usually, Elphaba would have told him something more but Galinda had already been with Elphaba when lunch started.
Maybe Elphaba will give him the details at teatime.
At least Boq was right about one thing.
It was thanks to Galinda that Elphaba was sleeping more.
