Summary
When Dumbledore takes notice of Delilah Chen’s soul research, she’s immediately offered a position at Hogwarts in September 1985 as the new Defense professor. Delilah is all too glad to leave America, which has turned from her beloved childhood home into a painful reminder of the past.
Meanwhile, Potions Master Severus Snape finds himself disliking the teacher of his coveted position, as usual. Much to his chagrin, the two of them are recruited to collaborate on Dumbledore's newest project: horcrux-hunting.
