Summary
"What if John Dory was Branch's father?"
Sam had spent her entire life searching for other trolls. She was too stubborn to accept her own reality, let alone give up after years of searching. She was guided solely by the hope that maybe, just maybe, she could find a place to call home.
John Dory felt as if he were carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Without his parents to pretend to support him, he felt lost. His duty was to prevent the only thing he knew from falling apart, clinging to something he wasn’t even sure existed. What he did for them was in honor of his parents’ memory, but part of him knew it was for himself.
They met under unpleasant circumstances, unaware that their fates were intertwined from that moment on.
Only time would tell what that meant, and whether they were truly willing to see beyond their own roles.
And perhaps the hatching of a blue egg could be the beginning of something greater that neither of them was prepared to understand.
