    Lucifer couldn't avoid it.

    He couldn't stop seeing pictures of himself as he'd been at the battle, plastered all over Hell's trashiest rags and replayed on news broadcasts when they had nothing more exciting to report on.

    One would think Hell's population would have moved on – but no, there were still articles with asinine titles like 'Let's Look at Lucifer!'

    He wished they'd just stop. He didn't need the constant reminder of how much of a monster he was.

    Lucifer is not having a good day. Week. Month. He's been moping more than usual, and Alastor has had enough of it. If he can't distract Lucifer from his bad mood using their regular biting barbs, then he has a few other tricks up his sleeve by now.
