Summary
Leorio never could’ve imagined it, but his long-awaited wedding weekend getaway has arrived. In a scenic hotel bordered by towering pines to the south, his and his fiancé’s nearest and dearest have congregated to celebrate this blessed union and the blissful future that promises to follow.
The sight of Kurapika — teetering in his impeccably tailored suit of powder blue beneath a bower of purple hyacinths — knocks the breath from Leorio’s chest. Kurapika is, from their storm-stricken first encounter to the sun-kissed present moment, without question the most beautiful person Leorio has ever witnessed.
Leorio is finally about to bind himself, in sickness and in health, to the one who’s kept his days bright and his bed warm for the past seven or so years. Today of all days, Leorio should be happy.
But he’s not. Because it’s not Kurapika whom Leorio is marrying.
