“You know that it’s our time. No fear, no lies. That’s who we’re born to be!”
Mira and Zoey froze, watching as something gold flashed beneath their feet and over the walls around them. They glanced at each other with wide eyes, looking away from where the demons pretending to be bobby and two kidnappers had disappeared.
“...Was that…?”
They looked back down the hall they’d come from, finding their breathing to be a bit heavier than they would’ve preferred. The girls looked at each other before running the way they’d come, pushing through the people that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

“You know that it’s our time. No fear, no lies. That’s who we’re born to be!”
Jinu froze, his downcast eyes slowly looking up. Beside him, Abby and Baby looked around, frowning.
“...The hell was that…?” Abby said, stepping away and looking around with narrowed eyes.
“Hey…!” Romance lurched backwards, and Jinu could only stare as a flash of gold raced towards them through the floor, his eyes going wide.
‘...They did it…?’

“You know that it’s our time. No fear, no lies. That’s who we’re born to be!”
Rumi breathed heavily as she stood there, arms raised above her head as the crowd around her screamed out. She stared at the honmoon, her chest heaving as gold coloured the sky and fell over the world around.
She smiled, her arms slowly lowering as she looked around, over the crowd highlighted in gold. She laughed softly, her eyes sparkling.
‘...We did it…’
They completed the golden honmoon. Finally.
But…
She looked over her shoulders, her brows furrowing as she searched for Mira and Zoey. She stepped back, trying to peer into the wings offstage, managing to just catch Mira and Zoey running into view.
Rumi smiled, motioning for them to get back on stage.
Zoey gaped slightly, her eyes flicking from Rumi to the golden honmoon for a moment before a smile crossed her face and she stepped forward, grabbing Mira’s wrist to pull her alongside. Mira followed, looking around breathlessly.
She looked at Rumi as she bounced towards them, purple braid dancing behind her, and grabbed their hands, pulling them towards the front of the crowd.
“...You did it…” Mira said, almost whispering.
Rumi beamed, linking her fingers with Mira and Zoey as the crowd got louder. “We did it.”
Zoey laughed softly. “The golden honmoon…”

“Yes! Time for our hiatus and the bathhouse!” Mira grinned, leaning closer to Zoey as they walked back to their dressing room.
“Bathhouse, woo!” Zoey cheered, pumping her hands in the air as she skipped along. “And Rumi’s going with us!”
“Finally!”
Rumi laughed, following them. But…
She hesitated for a moment, glancing down the hallway towards the Saja Boy’s dressing room, pausing in her path for a moment.
“...Hey, I’ll catch up with you,” she said, giving them a small wave as she went down the hallway, pushing down the urge to run towards the dressing room until she was sure she was out of sight.
Finally, the golden honmoon had been sealed, Gwi-ma was gone, and her patterns would be gone.
She would be free.
Jinu would be free.
“Jinu!”
Rumi burst into the dressing room, looking around with a smile. She was panting lightly as her brows furrowed slightly.
“...Jinu?”
Her smile fell slightly as she looked around, swallowing thickly. The room looked… messy? Not in a ‘getting dressed and ready for the show’ kind of way, but in a ‘things were knocked over by accident’ way.
She frowned slightly, stepping further into the room and looking over the mess.
“...Jinu? …Are you there?” She stopped, looking down.
Rumi’s eyes widened a tiny bit as she saw a familiar necklace on the ground. Jinu’s necklace, the chain glinting slightly in the lights around the room.
“...What?”
She leaned down to pick it up, her heart stuttering as a glimmer of gold flickered over the ground in the dressing room, ending where she picked up the cool necklace. “...Jinu…”
But… he was supposed to… He was supposed to be safe on this side… Not…
…She thought it would work… If it didn't… Her eyes widened slightly.
What if none of her plans had worked…?
Her grip on the necklace tightened as she lurched towards one of the mirrors, pulling the neck of her costume’s shirt down to make sure the patterns were actually gone. Rumi let out a breath she hadn’t realised she’d been hiding as she realised the purple patterns weren't there. They were gone.
Gone…
Her patterns were gone.
…All demons were gone…
…Jinu…
She stepped back, looking at herself in the mirror, the necklace loosely held in her hand.
…He was gone…

Mira and Zoey were changing into relaxing clothes when Rumi returned, looking dejectedly at the ground, her feet dragging slightly as the door closed with a gentle click behind her.
“Hey, I was wondering where you… Rumi?” Mira’s smile fell slightly as she turned to face Rumi. “...Are you okay?”
She didn’t respond for a moment, just looking at the chain necklace before slowly looking up. “...Yeah… Everything’s great…” She tried to smile, looking at her best friends. “Everything’s…”
Zoey stepped closer. “Rumi…” She wrapped her arms around her, pulling the purple haired girl closer.
“I… I-I…” Rumi sniffed, slowly raising her hands to wrap around Zoey, tightly closing her eyes. “...I’m sorry…”
“Don’t be,” Mira said, wrapping her arms around both girls. “We get it.”
Rumi buried her face against Mira’s shoulder, clinging onto both of them as tears slowly slid down her cheeks. ‘No you don’t…’ But that was okay. They didn’t have to get it. Rumi just wanted her friends for a little bit.
“...We did it…” she whispered, the chain necklace still in her hand feeling heavy as she caught sight of them through the mirror.
