Summary
When Sam and Sebastian broke up, that was the end of Goblin Destroyer. He’s built a new life for himself in the city, but Sebastian can’t escape Sam’s voice, haunting him every time he turns on the radio. Sam’s new band is tearing up the charts, but when their keyboardist storms off at the start of the tour it gives him the chance to reconnect with his ex and rekindle old flames.

This was amazing!!! I loooove a Sambastian messy exes AU and this fic struck the perfect balance between angst and pining. The voicemail part “You fucking asshole,” he says, voice choked with tears, “I didn’t wanna do this without you.” hit me SO fucking hard that I came back to edit this bookmark days later because I cannot get those lines out of my head (meant so so positively but arrrghhhhh!!!!!! they make me unwell!!!!!!!)
