Summary
Just before his twentieth birthday, Heeseung's parents died in a sudden accident. They left him the family house, a crumbling, secluded place buried in the woods. He wanted to sell it and split the money with his siblings.
So he went back. Alone. To clean it out.
The upstairs was harmless enough, just dust, old furniture, and the kind of silence that presses on your ears. Then he found the basement.
The locked door. The hidden key. The stairs that led somewhere much deeper than they should have. Rooms that didn't belong in a house. Boxes labeled The Isolation Project.
Inside the boxes were audio logs, medical files, and transcripts of something that never should've happened. Something conducted while Heeseung lived unknowingly above it for years.
He should've stopped reading. Because what he found was more than a nightmare.
