Chapter Text

It was some time after Isaac found that mysterious, giant, metal head. He was just a young little boy back then, and now, he was able to create his own robotic's company, which also started revolutionise the city of Detroit. What he didn't expect was to find something or... someone...

It was around night at that time, and Isaac was on break after working for so long that he decided to get some fresh air somewhere outside the city. After stopping in a remoted and gazing at the stars, Isaac then noticed something from the distance. Curious, he immediately went to investigate what he saw, wanting to know what it was.

When he got there, he found himself at the entrance of a huge cave as he slowly entered the cave cautiously and carefully. What he saw next shocked and amazed him. What he found was a strange metal pod, and through the glass of the pod seemed to be a small robotic life, and female too, but not like the ones Isaac usually builds.

He got closer to the pod and accidentally touched the lock screen, making a buzzing sound. Startled, he immediately stepped back as he watched as the pod door opened, steam coming out from the pod as the female robot still layed and soon slowly opened her eyes as she softly groaned. Isaac can only watch as the robot slowly gets out of the pod as she held her head from being in the pod for so long.

When the female robot spotted Isaac, she got scared and immediately went to the corner. Isaac saw this, and despite being a huge robot, she was still like a young child. So, Isaac slowly went towards the small bot and slowly tried to calm her down and earn her trust.

It took some time, but she started trusting him when he saw him reaching his hand for her. Despite the size difference, she slowly reached out and let him hold her index finger. She let Isaac guide him out of the cave and towards his car. He'll figure out a way to get her to Detroit and inside his company.

~Later...~

Once Isaac got the young bot inside his company, he did as best as he could to let her settle into her new home. He asked the young bot if she had a name, which she answered "A name? I...don't remember..." Hearing this, Isaac asked if he wanted him to give her a name as she nodded. As he was thinking of a name for her, he eyed the colours of her body, which was yellow and black, almost like a little bumblebee...

Wait a minute, that's it! Isaac now knew what kind of name that would fit for the young bot.

~Timeskip...~

A lot of time had passed as Isaac adopted the young female robotic, which her name was Bumblebee now, as she was helping Captain Fanzone as he was escorting some criminals in his car, he sighed as he turned to the female robotic "Bumblebee, though I appreciate your help, you gotta need to find yourself to do what ya love, kid." Bumblebee looked away shyly as she pushed her index fingers together "I know, but I don't know what kind of thing that can actually interest me..."

Before Fanzone can speak up, Bumblebee got a call from her adopted father "Oh, hang on. Hello, Bumblebee speaking. Father, what's the matter? A surprise? Okay, I'll be there. Goodbye, father." Bumblebee ended the call as she turned to Fanzone.

"I gotta get going now, Captain Fanzone. Have a good day!" Bumblebee waved him goodbye as she turned into her vehicle mode, which matches Captain Fanzone's car, as she drove off towards Sumdac Systems.

In a bird's view, Bumblebee was seen driving through the city of Detroit until she arrived at Sumdac Tower, which was not just a company but where she and her adopted father lived. Luckily, it was also big enough for her to fit inside as she transformed back in her robotic form. She entered the elevator and it took her to the top of the tower.

By the time the elevator was on the top, she immediately left to look for her father "Father? Are you here? Is everything okay?" Bumblebee called out as she walked around. When she found him, she noticed he was holding something on his arms, her eyes widen in surprise when she saw...

"A baby?" The baby in her father's arms was so small and precious as she sleeped peacefully. Isaac looked at his adopted, robotic daughter with a smile "Bumblebee, you wouldn't mind having a little sister, do you?" Despite not answering, she sat on her knees and held her hands out. Seeing this, Isaac gently placed the baby girl on Bumblebee's servos.

"She's so small..." Bumblebee quietly whispered, that's when the baby stirred made Bumblebee freeze on the spot as the baby girl's eyes met Bumblebee's. Instead of crying as Bumblebee thought she would, she instead laughed in joy as her little hands tried to reach her. Bumblebee let her index finger get close for the little baby to hold. She couldn't help but smile warmly as she gently whispered "Hey there, little one. It's me... your big sister..."

~5 years later...~

Bumblebee and her little sister Sari were in the living room watching some TV since it was cold outside, and there was nothing both the girls could do at the moment, Sari decided to change the channel to watch the idol channel. When Bumblebee saw this, she looked intrigued and quietly watched the show.

Seeing those idols dancing and seeing amazed Bumblebee in many ways as her eyes couldn't help but shine. This didn't get unnoticed by her sister as she looked at her and the TV for a moment until she spoke up "Bumblebee, do you...actually want to be an idol?" Hearing her sister's question made Bumblebee nearly jumped as she stumbled with her words for a bit.

Soon, she finally answered shyly "Uh...yes..." Sari couldn't help but grin as she spoke up "Really?! Then you should really give it a go!" Bumblebee was surprised as she couldn't help but blush in shyness while she looked away and pointed her index fingers together "Me? A robot becoming an idol? I don't know, Sari. It would be so weird to have someone like me to be an idol..."

However, Sari disagreed and kept encouraging her "C'mon Bumbleebee, you'll do great out there! And don't let anyone hurtful words get into your head. All you have to do is be yourself and show the world what you're made of!" "I agree with Sari, Bumblebee." Isaac said, who just finished working and heard the whole conversation.

"You'll be an amazing robotic idol here in Detroit. Everyone will love you for what you can do to them. Plus, it's about time you need to learn how to be strong and independent by yourself." Isaac said as Bumblebee still looked unsure "You really think I can do this, you guys?" Both her family members smiled as Sari spoke up "We don't think you can do it. We know you can do it, and we'll be with you in every step of the way."

Bumblebee couldn't help but smile as she carefully hugged them as she happily spoke up "How did I get a loving family like you guys?"

~Timeskip...~

Since then, Bumblebee has become the most popular and first robotic idol in all of Detroit. Despite a bit of the rocky start, she was able to skyrocket her idol popularity the longer she goes through.

When she was out on a field trip one day, that's when everything changed Detroit's life and hers forever...

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where the road was seen and a small, yellow with a black stripe car was seen driving through the road until it stopped by a small gas station.

Then, the car was seen transforming into a female robot form as she was walking in front of the gasoline station's store. A man was seen leaning on the counter, looking bored until he spotted the robot when she gently knocked. Apparently, Bumblebee was coming back home in Detroit after her trip in another state to perform. She hoped nothing bad happened while she was away.

~Back in Detroit...~

None of them knew how this all happened. It was just a normal day in Detroit, and then the next, a giant mutant cockroach broke out of Sumdac Power Plants after a failed experiment. Most of the SWAT team and emergency crew were trying to get the mutant cockroach away from the civilians and evacuate everyone out of Sumdac Robot Plants. However, Isaac tried to get back inside, telling the two firefighters that were holding him that his daughter Sari was still inside.

Inside the Plant, it was a huge mess and Sari was seen looking around as she called out for her robotic dog "Sparkplug! Sparkplug!" She kept looking around as she tried to look everywhere despite the mess "Here Sparky! I got a nice tasty security key for you!" Back outside, they were still trying to get the problem with the mutant cockroach under control, but it proved to be difficult as it used it tentacles to sweep the firefighters away and absorbed the two firetrucks.

As the firefighters ran out of the way, Captain Fanzone used the blowhorn as he spoke through it "Bring out the big guns!" SWAT team immediately prepared the small bazooka guns, kneeling down as Captain Fanzone spoke again "On my signal!" Isaac immediately went over to Fanzone's side as he tried to stop him "Captain Fanzone, wait. You don't want to attack this creature!" However, Captain Fanzone didn't want Isaac to interfere "Watch me. Fire!" As soon as SWAT team fired at the giant mutant cockroach, whiched stopped moving for a moment before it exploded as Captain Fanzone laughed at the success "Smart bombs, really pack a punch." He then grunted when one of the flesh pieces of the cockroach landed on his head.

As it rained flesh pieces of the mutant cockroach, everyone cheered, thinking it was a success until the flesh pieces of the cockroach that landed on the ground started moulding itself together, some part of it landed in the water and started swimming towards something underwater.

~Meanwhile...~

Bumblebee was seen drinking some oil as she sat on the ground. That's when a small light started blinking on her arm as she automatically flipped it, which revealed a small screen from her arm as it switched towards the news of what was happening in Detroit. Seeing that it came from her father's Plant, she immediately gulped the rest of the oil down, immediately payed for it, and transformed in her vehicle mode as she quickly started driving towards Detroit as fast as she can.

Back at the deep parts of the water, the small flesh of the mutant cockroach was seen entering the crack of the mysterious ship as the inside of the ship was now seen as the alarms were blaring and the female, robotic voice was heard "Intruder alert. Intruder alert." The pod door started opening, steam coming out, and four, huge robots got out of the pods as they held their heads and grunted from being in there for who knows how long.

The blue-red robot, Optimus Prime, looked around as he spoke "How long have we been in stasis?" The giant green robot, Bulkhead, soon spoke up as well "And what's with the alarm?" The black-gold ninja-like robot, Prowl, looked to see one of the flesh of the mutant cockroach crawling out of the vent as he spoke while trying to grab it "Probably something to do with-" However, he was cut off when the flesh jumped at Prowl, startling him as he tried to shake it off. Luckily, the red-white robot, Ratchet, used his magnets to trap it in a magnetic sphere as he examined it "Whatever it is, it's definitely got circuitry. And... something else." Optimus walked towards the control panels of the ship as he pressed one of the buttons and spoke up "Teletran-1, scan the area, see what's going on out there."

It shows a drone-like machine as it flew up, now above the water's surface as it started scanning "Scanning..." It showed the footage of the giant mutant cockroach, who was able to reform back to it's current body like it hadn't been exploded, as it was still attacking the citizens and emergency team alike. Seeing this, Bulkhead spoke up "Looks like those guys could use some help." As the small group watched the footage, Optimus agreed as he spoke "Even so, we don't want to attract attention in case the Decepticons are still out there watching." He pressed the button as he let out a command "Teletran-1 , scan local life forms. We can take on their appearance and blend in better." While everyone was distracted by the mutant cockroach, the drone went above the earth vehicles to scan, a firetruck, a SWAT van, a police motorbike, and finally an ambulance.

Once the scanning was complete, the main shaft emerged upward as the main shaft's door slid opened, Optimus went in first as the main seal closed and started the transformation, which didn't take too long as the door slide opened once more with Optimus' appearance and looks now completely changed thanks to Teletran-1's scan. Next was Prowl, then Bulkhead and finally Ratchet. Once the transformation was complete, the main shaft slid down as Optimus spoke up "Autobots, transform and roll out!"

They all immediately transformed into their new alt modes, Optimus' alt mode being a firetruck, Bulkhead being a SWAT van, Prowl being a police motorbike, and Ratchet being an ambulance. The group all liked their new alt modes.

"Not bad, huh?" Said Optimus, as he liked his new alt mode.

"Impressive..." Said Prowl as he tested the wheels on his alt mode.

"Roomy." Said Bulkhead, loving his new alt mode.

"It'll do." Said Ratchet as he tested his newer looks on his alt mode.

Once they were done, the main hatched opened as everyone, but Ratchet started leaving, as Bulkhead noticed and stayed behind for a bit and asked "Aren't you coming?" Ratchet answered as his windscreen showed the cockroach's flesh still within the magnetic sphere "Someone's gotta analyze this thing. Besides, who needs a bot with one servo in the scrap heap?" "Oh, well... good luck with that." And with that, Bulkhead drove off to catch up with the other two.

~Back at the surface...~

The mutant cockroach situation was getting ugly and out of hand as they were still fleeing away as it kept attacking them, Captain Fanzone pulled out his walkie-talkie and ordered "All units fall back! We will engage with unmanned drones only!" As SWAT team and emergency crew immediately retreated, no one noticed 3 vehicles coming out of the water as Optimus spoke up "Greetings, fellow bots. We are here to help." Just when Prowl was about to speak up, the tentacle tried to hit them but they immediately dodged on time as the tentacle was lifted off. Prowl was driving forward and was about to transform but Optimus stopped him "Do not engage that thing yet. Keep your scanners peeled for Decepticons."

The drones started attacking the mutant cockroach as roared, Captain Fanzone immediately noticed them as he mumbled to himself "What do those cowboys think they're doing down there?" He took his walkie-talkie out once more and spoke "You four! What part of 'fall back' do you not understand?" He then took out his binoculars and watched the disguised-vehicled Autobots "Who are those guys? I want their names, I want their badges, I want their..." That's when Captain Fanzone noticed something unsual "Hey where are the drivers? How are they driving themselves?!"

As Bulkhead trying to find anyone to speak on the planet they were in, one of the tentacles immediately grabbed Bulkhead and started squeezing him like a fruit, as he noticed one of the drones coming towards him "Any of you little bots know what this thing is? Or how to get it off me?" Luckily, he was able to drive away strong enough that the tentacle got ripped off immediately "Can anybody talk on this planet?" Just as he asked that question, Sari was seen chasing a robotic dog, presumably Sparklplug, who had Sari's security key on their mouth and was running away from her "Get back here! Sparkplug." Sari was able to catch Sparkplug but the robotic dog wouldn't let go of the security key and held it on tightly "Sparkplug! Let go! Ugh, how does Bumblebee even do it anyway?!" Sari exclaimed as she tried to get her security key back, both of them were in a tug-a-war game.

Bulkhead noticed them and thought Sari was the pet and Sparkplug was the owner. And so he approached them, making Sparklplug letting go of the security key, which Sari stumbled a bit, and soon noticed Bulkhead as he spoke up "Hi, little creature. My name's Bulkhead. Did you lose your owner bot?" Sari stared at Bulkhead for a second and immediately screamed in fear, forgetting the fact that her older sister used to do that too. The scream startled Bulkhead as he backed off a bit, thinking she was scared as Sari immediately ran away, also forgetting the fact that there was a mutant cockroach present as well. Bulkhead drove after her as he tried to calm her down "Don't worry, little creature. I'm not gonna hurt you."

Sari immediately ran into the mutant cockroach's tentacle as it immediately grabbed her, making Sari even scared and more panicked as she struggled and screamed to get freed from its hold. Optimus and Prowl immediately arrived by Bulkhead's side when they saw Sari getting held hostage from the mutant cockroach "What is that thing?" Asked Prowl when he saw a human for the first time. This time, Optimus spoke up "Whatever it is, it needs our help. Autobots, transform!" Without wasting any time, Optimus, Bulkhead and Prowl immediately transformed in their robot modes.

Those who were watching from the sides, stood shunned as their jaws were opened. However, Isaac didn't noticed as was using his binoculars, his focused was on his daughter, who still struggling from the mutant cockroach's hold "Sari! That's my daughter! Captain Fanzone, you must send someone in to rescue my-" When Captain Fanzone shifted Isaac's view to the Autobots, his reaction was the same with the rest as he lowered his binoculars down.

Sari kept screaming and panicking until she noticed the 3 Autobots, as Optimus brought out his battle axe whiched amazed Sari as she whispered to herself "Woah, they're just like Bumblebee...!"

The 3 Autobots, now in robot mode, started charging towards the giant mutant cockroach as Optimus yelled out "Autobots, attack!" He activated his battle mask on, swung his battle axe on the flesh of the mutant cockroach. Prowl jumped up as he also activated his battle mask on and threw his shuriken stars, but it was immediately absorbed within the mutant cockroach. Bulkhead, with his wrecking ball out, started spinning it as he yelled out to the mutant cockroach "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!" He swung his wrecking ball as it landed a hit on the mutant cockroach's face, dropping Sari immediately, as she screamed.

Bulkhead quickly caught her and started taking her away from danger as he introduced himself "Hi, I'm Bulkhead." "I'm Sari." Sari introduced herself as well as they were immediately inside of another building, in a parking lot "Oh don't be. I like my name." Sari tried to correct Bulkhead's mistake "No, I mean my name is-" She stopped herself when she realized that she didn't know what he was, much like her sister as she wanted to know her origins. She soon asked, seeing that this was her chance to know where Bulkhead and her sister was originally was "What are you?" "Uh well, I'm an Autobot, actually..." Answered Bulkhead as they weren't aware they were being watched by Sari's father, Captain Fanzone, and the others.

Captain Fanzone turned to Isaac as he asked "One of yours?" Isaac shook his head as he answered "No, but there could be a slight chance that they're related to Bumblebee..." Hearing this, Captain Fanzone took out his walkie-talkie and gave out his orders "All drone units, try rounding up the green robot. But don't harm both the robot and the girl." Back at the parking lot, the drones started trying to round up Bulkhead, as he shielded Sari from the drones "Oh dear, oh dear!" Meanwhile, Optimus and Prowl were left dealing with the giant mutant cockroach. Optimus tried to use his grappling hook to try to grab some of the organic flesh of the mutant cockroach and tried to pull, but instead as starting to absorbed the grappling hook along with the rope that was connected to Optimus.

Luckily, Optimus was able to hold himself onto the ground but was having a hard time while getting pulled in as Optimus turned to Prowl for help "Prowl! Lend a servo, huh?" He noticed Prowl wasn't there at all "Prowl?" That's when a shuriken star sliced the grappling hook's rope, making Optimus fall into the ground with a grunt, as Optimus spoke up "I said 'lend' a servo, not 'slice' a servo." That's when Prowl landed on the ground as the shuriken star boomeranged back to Prowl's servo "Better that than feeding the rest of you to that thing." "That wasn't your call to make, Prowl. We're a team, remember? And we need to know we can depend on each other." Said Optimus as he got up but Prowl didn't listen as he spoke "Only one bot I'd depend on. Me." Prowl jumped as he was able to slice some of the tentacles that tried to grab him. However, he was underestimated as he was grabbed by the mutant cockroach and slowly absorbed him whole "Prowl!" He can only watch in horror as the mutant cockroach slowly gets bigger while absorbing Prowl.

Back in the parking lot, Bulkhead was still trying to shoo away the drone that tried to round him up while protecting Sari on his servos until he finally spoke up "Listen, I'd love to stick around and chat, but I gotta go!" As he saw Prowl's arm now getting fully absorbed by the mutant cockroach, he gently placed Sari down as he decided to destroy the drones by swatting them away like mosquitos, to which Sari watched as the drones fell down around her. As Bulkhead looked at Sari one last time, he immediately ran back out to help, Optimus immediately comm link Ratchet "Ratchet! We need backup, stat!" Meanwhile, Ratchet was back in the ship as he looked like he was studying something on the screen as he spoke up through the comlink "I'm busy-" He was abruptly cut off when Optimus exclaimed through the comm link "That's an order!" Ratchet shook his head as if he was disappointed on how a child was talking rudely to their elders.

"Typical academy bot. Rather, hear a problem than fix it." Ratchet muttered as he turned his attention to the screen once more. After a moment, he comlinked back to Optimus "If you bother to analyze the nanobots that control the thing you were hitting, you'll that learn their programming causes them to interpret any unfamiliar material as an invading threat." Bulkhead ducked down just in time when one of the tentacles tried to swing at him as he tried to use his wrecking ball to land more hits "Now I can whip up a simple override command, or I can come out and get my curdled whip with the rest of you glitches." Said Ratchet as Optimus and Bulkhead were trying their best when attacking the mutant cockroach as Optimus comm linked Ratchet once more "Right, uh, I'll go with Plan A. But hurry it up, OK Ratchet?" As Ratchet watched Optimus through the other screen on his side, the tip of his index finger bent as it revealed to be a connector, as he plugged it in one of the parts of the maintenance controller and started typing the keys of the maintance with his free servo as he muttered to himself "At my age, this is as 'hurry it up', as it gets."

Meanwhile, Bulkhead was able to punched the tentacle that tried to grab him and hold his ground as he looked at Optimus "Boss-Bot, were you able to pick up Prowl's energy signature in there?" As Optimus sliced another tentacle, which grew back into two more, he spoke up while dodging the swiping tentacle "Yeah, I have. But it's faint." It showed the top of the building as Sari burst out of the entrance of the staircase, panting as she was neared the cemented fence of the parking lot building. Quietly watching as Optimus and Bulkhead were still fighting off the mutant cockroach, awing her even more as she smiled. Back at the underwater ship, a yellow light beam appeared as Ratchet comlinked Optimus "Ratchet to Prime. I'm beaming the override via Teletran-1." As it revealed the yellow light beam was like connected to Teletran-1's drone for a quick moment before it disappeared and started flying over "But these nanobots are so primitive, you're gonna have to upload it manually." It revealed Ratchet again but this time, the huge screen showed about the mutant cockroach and its studies of it "As far as I can tell from the scan, your creature has concentrated all it's higher command functions into a highly protective central processor."

It showed Optimus once more as he listened through the comlink as Teletran-1's drone was flying towards him, as it looked like it gave him a device, a data spike stick, something as Ratchet continued "Which means, the only way to deliver this fix is from inside that thing." As Optimus grabbed it, the drone flew away as the mutant cockroach grew the parts of its body once more and started grabbing the nearby marine ship "What happens when that thing eats a whole ship?" Asked Bulkhead worriedly as he backed away a bit while Optimus spoke up "Well let's upload this override before we find out. We need someone small and fast." As they tried to look around, they soon spotted one of the small police drones flying towards them, which somewhat survived from Bulkhead's swatting and was still trying to round up Bulkhead, they now found what they were looking for.

Optimus grabbed the drone, attached the data spike stick within the bottom of the drone by using a small but strong steel wire rope to hold, and with Bulkhead's help to change some of the programming to voice command, as Optimus looked at the drone and spoke "Okay, I need you to get into it's mouth and activate it once you get in. Now, head up right now." Once Optimus said it, the drone followed the command and it quickly flew up to get into the mouth. The creature tried to grab the drone as it dodges, Bulkhead noticed it as he spoke up "Think it knows what we're up to?" As Optimus activated his battle axe as he extended his grip hold and started running towards it as if he was one of the players competing in a pole vault event. Once he did, he slammed the end of the pole and tried to attack it, but the mutant cockroach counter-attack as it tried to swat Optimus away as he dodged it and perfectly landed on the ground "It's certainly getting smarter. Smart like Prowl." Optimus' optics widen in realisation.

Before they knew it, the tentacles now grabbed Optimus and Bulkhead. Bulkhead tried to punch it, but it didn't budge while Optimus tried to cut it off, but the tentacles were regenerating faster than before, which was bad news for them "That creature has merged with Prowl's comlink. It's heard everything we're saying." The mutant cockroach was so busy trying to absorb Optimus and Bulkhead. It didn't notice the drone that was still attached with the data spike stick, quickly flying towards the mouth. As it ate the drone, nothing happened for a second until the body started glowing super bright with the sounds of zapping, like electricity shocking the mutant cockroach's whole body from within, as its body turned pale white dust, as it soon started falling down quickly as Sari watched in horror as she shouted Bulkhead's name. Luckily, both Optimus and Bulkhead were fine as they fell into solid ground hard. Despite the hard fall (along with the wrecking ball that got absorbed landed on Bulkhead's chassis as Bulkhead now knew were that went to), the 2 autobots were okay as they saw Prowl on the ground, his chassis covered in dust as Optimus went to him and knelt down to check up.

Prowl deactivated his battle mask, groaning a bit as he saw Optimus and spoke up "Wh-what happened?" Optimus also deactivated his battle mask and answered "Your teammates just saved your circuits, Prowl. Whether you like it or not." Prowl tried to get up, but fell into the ground once more as he groaned in pain "Prowl?" Now concerned, Optimus then noticed something that shocked him. It was revealed, while during the absorption, Prowl's chassis got ripped and revealed a massive hole and damaged it circuits from within, electricity sparking the damage, which was not a good sign. Optimus looked up and spoke in a worried tone "We need to get him back to the ship right away for repairs." He immediately comlinked Ratchet "Prime to Ratchet. Prepare the medi-lab. We got a casualty." He transformed in his vehicle mode as he gave an order to Bulkhead "Bulkhead, load up Prowl. Carefully." Bulkhead did so as he carefully held Prowl in his arms and placed him on Optimus' back.

Meanwhile, Sari was seen running as fast as she could as she heard Optimus' voice "Autobots, transform and roll out!" She was just in time to see Optimus heading to the water with Prowl on his back and stopped Bulkhead, who was in his vehicle mode, on time as she reached him "Bulkhead, is that you?" "Sari?" Bulkhead was surprised to see her again as Sari excitedly rambled "Oh my gosh, it-was-so-amazing, I'm-freaking-out-you-were-so-cool-to-save-everyone-from-the-monster, I can't believe it!" "Sari, please take it easy. My friend was hurt real bad. I have to go." Said Bulkhead as Sari got in and sat in the driver's seat as she tried to plead "But, I want to know more about you. Let me come with you, please, please, please, I wanna help?" Bulkhead, unsure what to do, tried to speak "Um, well..." He got interrupted when Optimus comlinked him "I said roll out, Bulkhead!" "You can trust this face, can't you?" Said Sari as she tried to use the sweetest face she could give him. Bulkhead sighed as he finally agreed "Just keep out of sight until I can explain. And don't touch anything." Sari exclaimed in excitement as she sat still within the driver's seat "Yes!" Quickly realizing her mistake, she slowly lay low as this time whispered softly "I mean, yes." Once making sure the windows are closed and Sari was comfortable, Bulkhead slowly drove onto the water, not knowing what will happen next will change everything...

As Sari sitted still on the driver's seat inside of Bulkheads vehicle mode while he drove onto the water to follow Optimus, Sari was worried when she saw the water in view "Uh, am I gonna be able to breathe down there?" Sari asked worriedly as Bulkhead answered "Oh, sure. What's 'breathe'?" He didn't get his answer since he and Optimus now entered the airlock of their ship.

Inside the ship...

Ratchet was able to reattach Optimus' grappling hook where it belongs. He did a quick test to confirm it as all their attention was now to the injured Prowl, who was lying in the med bed, as Ratchet looked to see the condition "Wish I could say the same for Prowl." "Just-just do what you can, Ratchet." Said a worried Optimus as Bulkhead came in, still in his vehicle mode, as he asked in a worried tone "Is he gonna...go offline?" "Well, he's not quite ready to join the Well of All Sparks, if you know what I mean." Meanwhile, from the inside of Bulkhead's vehicle mode, Sari was trying to take a look at what was happening as she quietly held onto the steering wheel as she quietly whispered "What's happening? I can't see." Bulkhead controlled the sit from where Sari was standing, making her fall down as she lay onto the flattened car seat "Will you keep down?" Whispered Bulkhead as he strapped Sari with the seatbelt. Both Optimus and Ratchet looked at him, as if they heard him say something but not too clearly while Bulkhead tried to keep it low profile "Will you keep down...loading information? You know, to help fix Prowl." "Has that nanobot creature scramble your circuits, Bulkhead?" Asked Optimus as Sari was trying to get out of the seatbelt, making her kick the driver's door as Bulkhead immediately answered too quickly "No!" Both Ratchet and Optimus were now getting concerned when they saw the driver's door opened on it's own as Bulkhead immediately closed it and spoke in a calmer tone "No. My circuits didn't get scrambled. But thanks for asking." That's when try to whisper to Sari who was still inside of Bulkhead's vehicle mode "Shh, q-quiet." As he started moving back and fort.

"Is everything alright, Bulkhead?" Asked Ratchet, while from the inside, Sari was moving back and fort until she was out of the seatbelt but accidentally bumped into Bulkhead's stirring wheel, making a very loud honking sound, so loud it can be heard outside of the Autobot's ship. It had the 2 Autobots covering their audio receptors while Bulkhead exclaimed "Sari! Uh, sorry I-I must've had some bad motor oil." "Bulkhead, will you put a muffle on it and transform to robot mode?" Asked Optimus as Bulkhead had a nervous look despite being in vehicle mode "Right...robot mode." He immediately drove off and had to drop Sari through one of the vents, as he now transformed in his robot mode "I feel much better now." Meanwhile, Sari slid down the vent and landed hard. As she got up, she looked up to see something glowing bright blue in front of her, her reaction being in shock and awe. Which turns out the vent that Bulkhead dropped her into was connected to where the AllSpark was in. While she was standing there in frozen state, she didn't notice that the AllSpark scanned her whole figure. As the visions of all the visions of Autobots, Decepticons, even the secrets of Transformers from the AllSpark, while the visions on Sari's side revealed humanity, histories of civilizations, and the secrets of life itself.

Finally, the AllSpark finally stopped glowing, making Sari weirded out but concerned "OK, that was weird. Did we just have a conversation?" When she said that, a beam of light that came from the AllSpark immediately shot towards Sari's security deposit card, which was hanging around her neck, as it now changed into a silver key. Sari glared at the AllSpark as she whispered to it "If you mess this up, you owe me my security deposit." She didn't notice that a giant hand behind her until she was firmly yet gently grabbed from the back of her neck, as the hand revealed to be Optimus, as he lifted Sari off the ground have a good look at her "How did you get aboard this ship?" Asked Optimus as Bulkhead was seen revealing himself to Optimus' side "It followed me home. Can I keep it?" Asked Bulkhead as Sari grumpily corrected the green Autobot "Hey, I'm not an 'it', I'm a 'she'!" Optimus turned his gaze at Bulkhead as he spoke up "So I suppose you have an explanation?" "Yeah, actually, I'm narrowing it down to my top 5." Said Bulkhead, who looked a bit embarrassed until they heard Ratchet spoke up from their comlink's "Prime! You better get up here now!"

Back with Ratchet, who was trying to keep Prowl alive as he immediately brought out the pliers that act like tweezers for doctors that were connected to him while the window part of him shows the vital signs that were connected to life signs as he immediately placed them on Prowl's broken chassis. Both Optimus, Bulkhead, and even Sari arrived as Ratchet explained "Circuit damage is too extensive, I can't keep 'em stable!" Suddenly, the key around Sari's neck started glowing as it levitated towards Prowl, making Sari get dragged with it as well. Luckily, Bulkhead grabbed the back of her neck and placed her next to the unconscious Prowl, as she looked back to see Bulkhead's encouraging smile, she smiled at him back and slowly but quickly neared herself on Prowl's broken chassis. As she neared the key on Prowl's chassis, the key transformed on the exact same key hole that matches Prowl's chassis hole, which made Sari in awe, and finally inserting it on the hole. Which suddenly glowed a beam of light from the chassis, next covering the whole broken chassis, until it finally stopped with the chassis now fully repaired like brand new, thus saving Prowl's life as he finally regained consciousness. It shocked Ratchet that it looked like his jaw dropped as Prowl slowly sat up and spoke "That is...quite the cure."

Ratchet and Prowl weren't the only ones, as even Optimus and Bulkhead were shocked to see the key's healing power as Bulkhead finally spoke up "Can all 'she's' do that?" Even Sari looked shocked and concerned "I don't even know how I did that." Optimus, on the other hand, shook his helm as he spoke out loud "At this point, nothing surprises me. I've seen more action in this one solar cycle than my entire Cybertron service career." "Solar cycle's not over yet." Said Ratchet as they looked over to the screen, which shows the police drones shining light around the area as if looking for someone. For Sari, she knew who they were looking for "I think my dad's looking for me." Back at the surface, as the drone kept flashing the light around the area in the dark of the night, all the Autobots drove out from the water, the same entrance where they helped take down the giant mutant cockroach, as Ratchet's vehicle mode skidded over to the side as the side door opened to let Sari out, closed the door and finally transformed in robot mode.

Sari looked up to him as she whispered "Don't worry, humans don't usually blow up things with those symbols on the side." "Really? And here I thought they made me an easier target." Said Ratchet and as soon as he said that, police sirens were heard as a lot of police cars arrived as their lights shine towards the 4 Autobots and Sari "Stay where you are and don't move!" Said Captain Fanzone through the blowhorn. Bulkhead kneeled down to Sari's level as he whispered "Why do they want us to do that?" Sari shrugged as she answered "I don't know. I think it makes you look less scary or something..." She then muttered to herself "Or maybe...they knew when they saw you..." Luckily, the 4 Autobots didn't hear what she said. She soon turned to the crowd of police as she spoke up loud "It's OK, they're friendly! Well, except for the red and white one, he's kinda grumpy! But other than that!" Isaac immediately ran towards his daughter and hugged her tightly "Sari! Thank goodness you are okay. If your sister was here, she would have scolded you for hours." Seeing this, Captain Fanzone turned towards his crew and spoke up "Stand down and take it easy on them!" Sari turned to the group with a smile and soon to her father, who let go of the hug, as she asked with a smile "So...can we keep 'em?"

The next day...

A flash was seen as it revealed a drone with a camera that was flashing and many more cameras, which was actually taking pictures of the 4 Autobots, as they were confused with one of their servos raised up like they were taking an oath or waving, as they stood on the stage with Isaac standing on the podium stand beside them as he spoke out his speech "I want to thank the Autobots and extend a hand of friendship from the entire human race to Optimus Prime, the leader of this brave band of hero!" Optimus walked towards Isaac as he knelt down and used his 2 digits to somewhat shake Isaac's hand. As soon as they were done, Optimus stood up and turned to his team members "And to think Ultra Magnus told me not to be a hero. And to think Ultra Magnus told me not to be a hero. Is this what it was like in your day?" Asked Optimus as Ratchet answered "The Decepticons didn't leave us very much to cheer about."

Meanwhile, up within the stars of space...

The stars were shown until it revealed a huge, broken ship flying in space, and within the ship was someone sitting on a throne, a seeker Decepticon which revealed to be Starscream, the 2nd-in-command of the Decepticons "50 solar cycles of searching. But the AllSpark is out there, I can feel it! And once I find it, the Decepticons will have no choice but to follow my leadership." Soon, something caught the seeker's attention, which reveals a screen that was blinking as if it detected something, or more like someone...

"An energy signal?" A holo-display image then appeared and showed Starscream the map of the entire galaxy, next was the solar system and finally on the planet Earth "An awfully remote sector. Still, it looks promising. Extremely promising." Muttered Starscream as an evil smirk was seen on his faceplate. The Autobots would not expect what would happen next...

Meanwhile...

In the middle of the desert, like in nowhere, it shows a resting stop for tourists as the sun is rising up and seen in the distance. On the cliffside, Bumblebee was seen sitting on the edge, watching the latest news on Detroit through the small screen on her arm. She was watching the news about the new heroes, which revealed the 4 Autobots. It soon showed her full reaction, which was awe and excitement.

"So there are more like me out there...! This is great news, I just hope I'm not too late to meet them!" She then automatically flipped the small screen to close, carefully stood up and not accidentally fall onto the edge. With a deep breathe in and out, as she did a back flip which she transformed into her vehicle mode and immediately started driving through the road where she was heading back home to Detroit to see her family and hopefully, the Autobots as well.

Everything was normal on the daily life in Detroit. Well, define normal if you count 4 giant Autobots who are now living among the city of Detroit now. Though time was short with the Autobots to get to know their new surroundings, they adjusted very quickly, though it will take some time for them to get used to the organic human since they were smaller than them. What the 4 Autobots didn't understand on why they were used to seeing someone bigger than them. They wanted to ask some questions but decided to put them on hold for the time being.

Each of the Autobots were on their own to get to know the city better while Sari was with Bulkhead for company and guidance, or mostly likely getting food at Burger Bot in that moment. Prowl was in the park , which some of the civilians noticed him. Ratchet was trying to take a stasis nap, which he unknowingly parked at the no parking zone, making him annoyed and had no choice but to move somewhere else to take his stasis nap. Finally, Optimus was standing near the playground where the children could play while their parents watched over them "We Autobots are programmed to respect the source of life and protect it at all cost. For us, that means one thing: the AllSpark." Said Optimus, which he was explaining the whole story to Sari as she sat on his shoulder pad "Yet you organics are life, which means we must protect you as well. But how is it you're able to make this new, smaller organics?" Asked Optimus as he pointed towards the couple's baby laying on the stroller. Sari went to his audio receptor and whispered what seemed to be an answer to his question, which somewhat made Optimus either shocked or flabbergasted.

Later that night...

The scene then shows a very old and abandoned building with the street lights on for the night in case vehicles decide to drive through the somewhat empty streets "You guys need a home base. And a ship at the bottom of Lake Erie is way too far away. Then I remembered this place. My dad got in a merger. He gave it to my older sister after she got into her full-time job career. Plus, there's plenty of space for just 1 person. So, what do you think?" Said Sari as she went up to the stairs of the rollastep, which was near the light switch, and switched the light on, as the whole room lit up that there was some furniture placed in the room already, and surprisingly big enough for Autobot size "Anywhere I can power down for a few mega-cycles is OK by me." Bulkhead said happily as he sat on the couch as Optimus turned to Sari "Are you sure your sister won't mind if we let us stay in her place? And is she even here on this city?" "Don't worry, she doesn't mind having new roommates. And as for your second question, she left Detroit for a while for a schedule on her job, but from what I know during our video call last night, she confirmed she was coming back home soon. So, it'll be a great chance for you guys to meet her!" Said Sari, who was smiling excitedly.

"By the way, I noticed how the furniture looked exactly...bigger than the others I've seen. Not to be rude, but isn't it too big for someone like your sister to be comfortable with?" Asked Optimus as Sari was scratching the back of her head, as if she knew the reason "Well, you see-" However, she was cut off when siren alarms were heard from the distance as Optimus spoke up "Sounds like someone needs help. Autobots-!" "I know...transform and roll out." Sighed Bulkhead as he got up from the couch as the whole crew went into their vehicle form, as well as turned on the emergency sirens, and followed the emergency sirens. Firetrucks, along with the firefighters, were trying to put out the huge fire from the building. Optimus arrived on time, and thanks to his new earth vehicle mode being a firetruck, he shot out water from one of his forearms to help take out the fire while Ratchet came and used his magnets to stop the falling rubble.

Up in the air, the drones were recording everything from above as a voice from one of the drones spoke "We're live on the scene downtown, where the Autobots once again are earning their title as Detroit's newest superheroes." As the civilians ran out of the burning building, they all looked back and cheered for the crew of Autobots. What nobody knew was that someone was spying on them through the holo-display screen "Enjoy it while you can, heroes. You're about to take a fall." Muttered Starscream, as he evilly smiled.

The next day...

"We at Sumdac Systems continue our commitment to moving Detroit forward with this Fully Automated Rapid Transit System, capable of speed over 300 miles per hour." This shows that Isaac Sumdac was announcing for the inauguration ceremony as the Autobots, mayor of Detroit, Mr. Sumdac, Sari, and Captain Fanzone stood what looks like a train behind them. The crowd cheered while the drones recorded live with their cameras as Isaac continued "I want to thank the Mayor, Police Captain Fanzone, and especially our city's cybernetic superheroes, for attending this magnificent grand opening ceremony." The crowd cheered once more as Optimus whispered to Ratchet "I don't feel like a hero any more than I did reparing Space Bridges on Cybertron." Optimus looked lost and unsure as Ratchet whispered back to him "In my experience, heroes usually end up on the repair table of the scrap heap. And I'm not ready to join the Well of All Sparks, just yet."

What no one would expect was while the crowd continued watching, 5 jets were flying through the sky as one of the pilots spoke up "Unidentified aircraft entering U.S. airspace over Michigan. Identify yourself, or you'll be treated as a hostile!" However, this didn't intimidate the 'unidentified aircraft' hidden in the clouds as they shot lasers and hit one of the jets, then revealing themselves to be none other than Starscream as he spoke up "You haven't seen 'hostile' yet!" He shot and successfully hit two out of three of the jets again as the pilot of the final jet tried calling help "Mayday! Mayday!" The pilot immediately went behind Starscream and tried to shoot him down but it did little of no damage "This is very annoying." Muttered the Decepticon Seeker as he quickly flew behind the jet, making the pilot shooked that his breath nearly caught off guard. What happened next was that Starscream started scanning the jet, much like how the Spacebridge Repair Crew did when try to scan their earth alt modes "Best to continue my search, incognito." Starscream muttered as he evilly grinned.

Back with the Autobots, the crowd was still watching as Isaac announced once more "If you would kindly direct your attentions overhead, please enjoy the aerial acrobatics of the Crimson Angels!" 6 crimson jets flew over to Sumdac Tower and started shooting fireworks, making the crowd cheered in awe and amazement. While everyone was distracted with the fireworks, a jet that looked like nothing from the other crimson jets casually flew behind the 3 crimson jets and followed their lead "For once, something that flies that's not a Decepticon." Said Bulkhead but Isaac immediately noticed something strange about the jets "Odd, I thought I only paid for six jets." That's when the extra jet started heading towards the Autobots, Sumdacs, Captain Fanzone and the mayor!

"Is that thing nuts? He's headed straight for us!" Exclaimed Bulkhead but as the jet got closer, Ratchet seemed like he immediately recognized that jet "It couldn't be!" Muttered Ratchet in shock as the jet immediately transformed, which was actually Starscream in his new earth alt mode. He shot his lasers towards the Autobots as the crowd immediately ran away from the danger. The shot immediately hit them hard against the metalic train behind them and soon fell to the ground hard. Starscream smirked as he immediately landed in front of the 4 Autobots. They stood up to see the Decepticon's 2nd in Command right in front of them "Greetings, Autobots! Mind if I crash the party?" Greeted the Seeker Decepticon.

Unknowingly to them, a new face to the Cybertronians and an old face to Detroit City, is coming back sooner than later...!
