    “Look at me, Bee. Look at me,” Optimus says, his voice thunderous.
    Slowly, Bumblebee does as ordered, expecting a glare of disgust and loathing.
    To his surprise, Optimus’s optics are wide and fretful. “Are you okay?” he chokes out, voice strained as he cups Bumblebee’s bleeding cheek.
    Bumblebee shudders under the bizarrely gentle and comforting touch but cannot stop the bitter laugh that slips free. “What kind of fucking question is that, Boss-Bot?”

     

    When Sentinel finds out Bumblebee’s darkest shame, he extorts the yellow bot for his personal amusement. In response, Bumblebee convinces himself that his actions ruined everything.
    As Bumblebee quickly speeds down the road of self-destructive behavior, Optimus tries to step in and save their broken relationship.
