It’s been around two weeks since Kaidou confessed his feelings to Saiki and they’ve officially became boyfriend and boyfriend.
Of course, Saiki had known about Kaidou’s crush on him long before that, but Saiki took no action on it. At first, he didn’t know how to feel. But after a couple of weeks of Kaidou admiring Saiki from afar, Saiki actually developed feelings for him too.
Like, actual feelings. He liked Kaidou back.
Kaidou had brought Saiki to a quiet hang out spot after school one day, with the intention to confess to Saiki. Saiki had been nervous (yes, Saiki, nervous, shocking,) the entire day. Kaidou was too, honestly. When is he not?
They’d officially became boyfriend and boyfriend. They were dating. And Saiki felt amazing.
A couple days into their relationship, Saiki had thought it was the right time to tell Kaidou about his powers. He trusted Kaidou to keep the secret safe.
And so Saiki told him, and demonstrated them. Kaidou was amazed, and slightly jealous, but that’s okay. Of course, Kaidou insisted that Saiki carried him and they could fly in the air. Saiki couldn’t say no to him.
But, there was something Saiki and Kaidou both wanted very badly, that both of them have took no action on.
They wanted to kiss each other.
So that’s why they’re in Saiki’s bedroom, after school on a Friday. They planned a sleepover. Kaidou had asked Saiki about kissing during the school day, and Saiki invited him over so they could do have their first kiss more privately.
A movie—Saiki wasn’t sure what, he just tossed the remote to Kaidou and prayed he wouldn’t put on a movie about bugs—was playing on Saiki’s TV. The two sat opposite of each other on the ground. Kaidou stared at Saiki with wide eyes, practically shimmering and glistening with excitement. Saiki stared at Kaidou, eyes soft and face slightly more pink than usual.
“So, are we ready?” Kaidou asked, his hands propped on Saiki’s knees. Saiki nodded at him.
“Okay. You would be my first ever kiss, you know! Like, ever.” Kaidou added, as he slightly leaned in more closer to Saiki’s lips, looking down at them, then with Saiki’s eyes.
“Mmhm. Mine too.” Saiki responded, face flushing more as Kaidou got closer, eyebrows furrowing.
Kaidou nodded, and then they both closed their eyes, the two of them leaning in. Kaidou puckered up his lips, leaning in—
And then Saiki disappeared.
Kaidou’s hands, originally propped on Saiki’s thighs, fell to the ground in an instant, startling Kaidou. He opened his eyes, searching for Saiki—just to see him standing on the opposite side of the room, hands covering his face.
“W-what happened?! Kusuo!?” Kaidou stammered, standing up and running to the corner Saiki had teleported to. “Are you not ready yet? We don’t have to do this, I don’t want you to feel like you’re forced—“
“No, I do want to do this.” Saiki let Kaidou grab his hands and interlock their fingers. “It’s just…”
Kaidou cocked his head in confusion, taking in Saiki’s face. His eyes suddenly brightened up, and realization coming to his face. “Oh, Kusuo.. are you just nervous?”
Saiki nodded in slight embarrassment, Kaidou laughing at him. “Aha, I didn’t know you could get nervous. Big bad psychic, nervous over a kiss!”
“Be quiet, Shun.“ Saiki had to stifle a small smile, enjoying the look of happiness on Kaidou’s eyes. “Let’s kiss before my limit for teleportation is up and I accidentally teleport away again.”
“Okay. Don’t get nervous and use any psychic powers.” Kaidou joked, squeezing Saiki’s hands, and leaning in again to Saiki’s face.
Saiki followed when Kaidou closed his eyes and leaned in. They were about to make contact, this time for real, and then—
“Ah! Why did your hands get so cold all of a sudden!” Kaidou jerked back, letting go of Saiki’s hands and stepping back. Saiki stared at his hands and seemed to be focused on getting them back to normal temperature.
“Kusuo, stop being so nervous! It’s just a little kiss.” Kaidou smiled stepping back towards the embarrassed Saiki, grabbing his hands once again. “Okay, this time, no teleporting, no accidentally making your hands cold. You got this.”
Once again, the two leaned in slowly, lips puckered, and then—
What just happened? It feels like they just changed places.
Oh. Because they did.
“Kusuo, why are we on the Eiffel Tower?” Kaidou looked around, observing his surroundings.
Saiki sighed through his nose, squeezing Kaidou’s hands. Kaidou giggled softly.
“You’re so cute, you keep getting so nervous.” Kaidou teased, cupping one of Saiki’s cheeks.
“Stop bullying me.”
“I’m not!”
“Yes you—“ Saiki was cut off by Kaidou quickly pecking his lips. When Kaidou looked back to Saiki, he looked as if he stopped functioning. He was paused.
“Hey, you didn’t—“ Kaidou started, before feeling his feet suddenly come off the ground. He looked down, just to see the two floating, just a couple feet off the ground.
“Kusuo, we’re in public!” With that, Saiki seemed to have snapped back into himself, immediately letting themself drop back to their original positions.
Kaidou once again laughed at him, before Saiki teleported them back home.
“Okay, I want a real kiss now.” Kaidou leaned in quickly, and let their lips connect, kissing Saiki. Saiki tensed up ever so slightly, but after about five seconds, he pulled Kaidou in closer to him.
The objects in Saiki’s room were floating. Mangas, a chair, a lamp, the TV, and everything small.
They spun around a little bit, before pulling away. They looked at each other in amazement, as the objects stopped floating and went back to their original positions.
“That was awesome.” Kaidou muttered. Saiki nodded in agreement, and then they both pulled back in for another kiss.
In the end, they kissed around 30 times in forty-five minutes before falling asleep in each other’s arms.
