Chapter Text
Touch. You can't keep your hands off Myung-gi, no matter how hard you try. He can't push you off either, no matter how hard he could try to resist. It's the constant linking of arms, the face squishes, pulling on his hair. You push on his abs like they're buttons on a calculator. As long as he exists, you'll touch him. And he loves it.
He's in luck today, because you just thought of another way to get your hands on him.
Myung-gi comes through the front door with a bag in hand. Per usual, you run up to him and jump into his arms, almost making him fall to the floor. "W-woah, okay, someone missed me!" He chokes out, giggling, then pats your back in a loose hug. He returns the favor verbally, whispering in your ear. "Don't worry, I missed you too." You feel his slight stubble; it scuffs you just right. Myung-gi hates it, but you don't mind, as long as it doesn't get too long. His skin is soft, and if it's slight, the stubble complements him quite well. You both release each other so he can put down the bag, and his tired body on the couch, completely giving way to gravity. "Did you go on a little shopping spree or something?" You giggle and sit up straight, taking a break from slouching, and take a peek in the bag, putting it on the floor between your feet; it's a bunch of razors. It's a mix of the classic, reusable silver ones and a couple of the fancy pink ones with built-in gel. In between each product, some "Oohs" precede from your lips. Humming to yourself, you feel around the bag a little more and pull out a bottle of cream. "Ooh, this looks nice." You place it to your side, shuffling through the bag once more. Then, your hands meet another bottle. You pause. It's cold and glassy to the touch. "Is this what I think it is?" You can feel Myung-gi's smile burning into the top of your head before you look up. You pull your head up and raise the bottle next to your cheek, nestling it into your face. You squeal as you tap the glass in front of him. Myung-gi holds his chin between his hands, rocking his head from side to side sweetly. He leans back without breaking his grin, garnishing it with a wink as he goes back to his previous position. It's your favorite aftershave-- well, not yours, but your favorite on him. "Well, anything you have to say?" You stifle another squeal, silently mouthing a jittery "Thank you". You shuffle closer to him and match his position on the couch.
A quietness creeps in, but neither of you minds. Your mind is swirling with thoughts of what Myung-gi would feel like after you got your hands on him. Impulsively, you tilt his head towards you with your fingers, his lips agape. You switch into a neat cross-legged sit. In Myung-gi's inner monologue, he's contemplating going in for a kiss, unsure of what you grabbed his face for. You pause a little bit and transfer your hands from the bottom of his jaw to his cheeks, and just start messing with them, squishing him around. His eyes jolt out of focus after realizing midway through that you're, in fact, not going in for a kiss. "Oh." You pause, unsure of what he meant. Myung-gi's body didn't react averse to it at all; his mouth was just faster than his mind. "Wait, no- I didn't mean that I didn't like it, like it was more of an 'oh!' more than an 'oh...', you kn--" His phrase gets cut out by you pinching both sides of his face. "Baby, what the hell?!" You sink your face into your shirt, attempting to hide from his gaze. He pulls out the pack of razors, using it as a shield from your hands. You raise your head and gasp. "I just like your face. Is that a crime?" As you lean in closer to his ear, you lower your voice, almost to a whisper: "I'm also going to miss your stubble, Myung-gi..."
He drops the pack down, as his expression softens, gazing at you, with his lips slightly parted. A soft smile makes its way to his face. He leans to the side of your face, almost in a perfect recreation: "Okay, I'll let it slide this time, silly." He pulls back, restoring his voice to his original volume. "I'm taking it off tomorrow anyway." You cup his face, tracing each crevice with both thumbs, like you painted him from scratch. Myung-gi just closes his eyes and smiles widely, like a kitten. You press a kiss into his right cheek, and without opening his eyes, he does a fist pump toward his torso, gritting a quiet, "Yes!" through his teeth. You giggle and play with his face some more.
Your touches fade out, and you take a pause. A confused Myung-gi flutters his eyes open. "Hm?"
Before your brain can catch up, your voice outputs a, "Can I help you shave?" Myung-gi doesn't jolt back, and instead softly replies to you. "What?" You prepare a snarky reply. "You know, like I bring a razor to your face and go up and d--" "No, no, not that-- I mean-- oh, God," He stumbles over his words again, but catches himself quickly, and clears his throat. Inside, he's all giddy at the thought of what your hands on his face would feel like. "You've just never asked before." "So, is that a yes, or a no?" He regains his composure and cups his face with his hands again, making his head go further toward you. He bats his eyelids twice at you. "It's always a yes, hot stuff." You push his face away, adding in a fake gag.
His laughter is the last thing you hear before you end up crashing into his chest to sleep. Without disturbing your position, he whispers your name and organizes a strand of your hair behind your ear. As Myung-gi registers that you're no longer awake, he goes silent and rests his chin on top of your head, marking his turn to drift to sleep.
Myung-gi wakes up to his arms cradling nothing, with only the memory of your silhouette to hold between his hands. You, on the other hand, were trying to keep quiet while unboxing the razors. You hear Myung-gi groaning as he stretches from the living room, hearing a tired, "Baby...?".
As you hear his footsteps come toward the bathroom, you grab the shaving cream in one hand and the razors in the other. Myung-gi comes in quicker than expected, and you jolt into a stiff stance. When he comes into your view, you have both of the items in your hands, and stretch your arms out towards him with a slight smile, almost as if you were giving the razor and can to him as an offering. His morning rasp leaks into his laugh as he leans into the door frame, making your smile widen even more. Dropping your arms to your side, you match his lean into the doorframe. "Morning, beautiful." He pouts slightly. "Hey, that's my line..."
You look up at his face for a hot minute before breaking the heaviness in your gaze and continuing. "So, are you coming in?" He snaps out of his stupor and nods quickly.
You set all your tools down on the counter of the bathroom sink, almost like you're in a lab. Myung-gi just stands behind you, fidgeting with his fingers slightly. You don't even need to look back to tell. You giggle under your breath. "Are you nervous or something?" He pauses, just smiling to give you the green light. "Can you sit up there? Like, on the counter." He mounts the counter, scooting into place. "Is this good?" You stand right in front of him, finding the right position. "Perfect," You pop the top of the shaving cream and put a bit on your finger to boop him on the nose. "Just like you." You add in a comical wink. Myung-gi flicks your head down. "You're so corny..." "I'm also the one with a razor." Myung-gi goes all wide-eyed and puts his hands up.
You hold it up to his face at different angles, not yet using it, but just figuring out where to start.
"Can you open your legs a little? The angle's a bit weird." You pause, realizing how you phrased it. Clearing your throat, you try again. "I mean, so I can stand closer to you. Like in between your legs." Your eyes space out, and your smile drops as you realize that doesn't sound quite right, either. Myung-gi does his best not to exchange his calm smile for hearty laughter. "Okay, if that's how you want it." You start to feel a little warm, chewing on your bottom lip to prevent your own smile.
You grab the shaving cream again, with Myung-gi leaning closer to you without having to be asked. You shake the can and spray two hearts on his face. "Beautiful." Myung-gi smiles at your words as you start to blend the mousse in. You grab the new razor, but the insert gives you a bit of trouble; you've never used one of the reusable metal ones before.
Myung-gi slips it from your fingers, intertwining both of yours for a second. "Hold on, I got it, Myung-gi." He loosens his grip before making an offer: "Let me show you how to work it; I won't take it from you." You prefer to figure things out kinesthetically, rather than seeing it being done, so he always assures you that he'll guide you instead of taking it completely. Myung-gi gracefully takes your wrists and fingers into the right position, being gentle yet effective.
"Just hold that down and click it in." You fidget with it until you secure it. Myung-gi then focuses his attention on your hands, seeing if you need more help. "Yeah, just like that." You let out a little "Yes!" under your breath once you get the razor set up. He releases his hands from yours slowly, then tilts his palm towards you, like a high-five, and tangles your fingers together. He quickly and completely releases his hands after. You try to keep your composure, with mild success. He leans in, cooking up a soft smile. "Are you nervous or something?" You lock eyes with him, joined with a subconscious and slight nod.
You maneuver his jaw from underneath with your fingertips as you match the razor to the contours of his face, turning him ever so slightly every couple of seconds. You work your way to the side of his face, saying, "Can you close your eyes, Myung-gi? I don't want to scrape them." He doesn't register what you said, keeping his eyes on you. He snaps out of his daze with a slight shake and responds, albeit not coherently. "Oh, yeah, of course." His gaze is replaced with a lovesick grin, which you match, even though he can't see it. Myung-gi entrusts his face and neck to you, going limp, knowing you'll take care of him. After some more turns, you put the razor down, and Myung-gi's eyes flutter at the sound, but don't yet open.
After a soft hum, you hear, "Done?" You slide your thumbs across his face twice before dittoing him. "Done!" He slides off the m with his palms, which transfer to your waist. His head finds its way into the crook of your neck, and the side of his cheek locks with yours. He whispers into the side of your face. "Thank you, beautiful." Midway through, you gasp. Though it was sudden, Myung-gi gently but swiftly takes his hands off you.
"Shit, I just forgot something, hold on."
You dash down to where you left the bag, forgetting the aftershave bottle, as you didn't want to wake Myung-gi up. As you jog back, you ask him to hop back on the counter. "I'll be right down, babe. Just get back up for me." He shouts back a reply with his hands cupping his face. "Okay," He lowers his volume to laugh before continuing. "You don't need to run, though. I'm not going anywhere."'
You enter as he finishes his sentence. You put your hand on the counter beside his leg, out of breath, smiling as you slowly raise your head to face him. A breathy giggle escapes your lips as you say, "Maybe I like the chase."
You stand back up, putting some of the aftershave on him, adding in a few unnecessary pats. He pats your face back, except you don't get any aftershave. You both remake your failed hug moment, this time with your hands on his waist, and his cradling your neck.
As he lets go of you by sliding his hands down to and off your waist, you come onto him, squeezing his face, almost making him trip backwards like last night. "Oh my God, Jesus," He chuckles after regaining his balance, letting you know he's good with it. He mimics you, putting his hands on your face, then leaving them still after squishing your cheeks once.
Without letting go of your face, he leaves a chaste kiss on you. "You're so touchy." You catch him off guard once again, going straight for his lips this time. You crash into him, but Myung-gi stabilizes the kiss, making it easy for you to melt into his body. Both of you rock back and forth into each other, finding a rhythm that feels right. It's not an urgent kiss that you treat as if it will never come back again, because you both know what you have is safe. It's not desperate either, in the sense that you would have to fight for this moment. You take your time with him. Myung-gi quickly, yet gently, deepens the kiss, careful not to rush the moment, and takes his time physically showing that your love for him is mutual. You pull away, but keep your hands around his neck as an anchor. His parted lips are added to the list of his now shiny features, perfected by you.
He stands there, breathless. "How's that for touchy, Myung-gi?"
His lovesick expression tells you all you need to know.
