Summary
Heliophobia, a fear of the sun and sunshine.
Superman extends an invitation to Batman to the newly forming Justice League, to which Batman declines. Something seems wrong with the other man, and Supes doesn't want to leave someone in pain alone.
“That’s… That’s okay. I just wanted to let you know, Batman…” The bat did not respond, and only stared at the man. Superman shifted, almost uncomfortably, before he seemed to take notice of something. “Are you alright?” He asked, his brow furrowing in concern. Batman looked at him with a cool gaze, his face betraying none of the emotion he felt.
“I don’t think anyone’s alright.” And with that, the Batman turned away from the savior of Metropolis, fired a grappling hook to a secure part of the roof, then rappelled down to the alleyway below where the car was. Effortlessly, he entered the vehicle and sped off into the night. He had a lot of wounds to attend to.
