Summary
A young, newly turned vampire named Luz Noceda and her human mother, Camila, must balance this new part of their lives with the fresh grief from the death of Luz’s father, Manny. As the years go by, Luz struggles to fit in and find her place in the world, getting herself into trouble at school. But when a strange little owl runs off with her favorite book just before she goes off to summer camp, she may come to realize that this world isn't the place for her at all.
