All of us together again
It was most certainly a time for celebration, feelings shared freely, tear filled eyes, hugs shared, all of the bottled emotions popping up to the surface.
As this reunion was more than anyone could have ever hoped for!
As the group, family now, having gathered together on Pabu. Rex and his crew having flown in for the special occasion, that of the homecoming celebration.
Not only because of Omega and Crosshair’s return, but having found so many more lost souls in the process of the rescue mission.
Hiding in the shadowy torture chambers of Mount Tantiss, were not just the most recently captured clones, but also several other ones having thought long since missing and dead.
Mayday of course on the list of the most recent casualties, something of a surprise for Crosshair. A most pleasant one at that. His new best reg friend coming back from the supposed dead.
Tech, having been captured by Hemlock’s crew and despite his lies to the contrary, Tech was very much alive. True, with artificial parts now too, but alive and himself.
But guess what had hit them mostly though, was the return of one particular trooper. The one having blown the whistle on the whole chip conspiracy.
ARC Trooper Fives.
Rex and Echo both among several others of their brothers having been dumbstruck and giddy at the same time when they had pulled open the one particular cell having held Fives.
The tears never shed flowing freely as the two, Echo and Fives were reunited.
And so now, after the dust having settled, the search for several more troopers still continuing with new intel found on Tantiss. Yet it still was time to fill the glasses and raise them high up in the air.
The family together again, and ever growing as it turned out.
“For Fives!”
“For Tech!”
“For Mayday!”
“For Us!!!”
They all cheered, hugged and sang songs of bravery until early morning hours.
Granted, the work was still going on for saving all the clones as Rex had put it. But, this, was just the beginning. For a very happy ending for them all.
