Summary
Aster made a deal with a demon when he was 12 years old. The demon promised him the strength to protect others. There's no way a deal like that could get manipulated into something bad, right?
12 years later, Aster is the shining Silver Star of the kingdom. It is a hard-won title, carrying well-earned respect. What his companions don't understand is why Aster has been acting strangely as of late, staring at random strangers who later turn up dead. It can't be—why would he side with a demon?

His companions just don't understand. He needs this power, so that he can protect as many people as possible. Is there anyone who can understand? Perhaps not in the mortal realm, but his demonic patron is surprisingly willing to offer his comfort.
