Kit woke to grimy concrete on his right and a warmth along his back. His last memory was of a fucking bitch beating the shit out of him. He jolted upright and immediately regretted it. “Fuuuucck,” the eight year old cursed. His head was pounding.
A gasp from his left startled him. “Kit!”
‘Ohh shit,’ Kit thought. ‘I knew I was forgetting something,’. “Heeeyy Ali, I.. uh..”
“Do you know how scary it was to find you covered in blood!? You can't run off like that again!” the orange haired San Joaquin fox anthropomorph yelled.

Kit could feel the sting of tears behind his eyes as he ran, Ali was so mean!! He said that he and Kit had to move, didn't he know that they had to stay there to protect the small animals!
A sound in the back of an alley that he just ran past made him pause and backtrack. “Is there a kitty in here?” He asked gently.
A dry chuckle from the dark made him pause. “Ooh-hoh, you'll wish I was a cat when I'm done with you,” A growly voice said. The voice sent a shiver down his spine, and not a good shiver.
A huge reptilian anthro stepped out of the shadows with a small female presenting hyena and a spider anthropomorph trailing behind him. As they start to circle him, he notes the first one's traits.
He was large with ridged yellow scales, there was also a mid-sized tail with the same textured yellow scales. While Kit categorized those into a file in his head, the reptilian starts to smirk. ‘He has fangs, so a venomous snake’ Kit thought to himself.
‘Yellow, ridged scales, and venomous,’ He started to think, ‘Most likely a Banded Krait. The spider anthro is hairy, so they're probably a tarantula. The hyena has pointy ears, so she's a striped hyena,’
“Welp,” He said aloud, “I’m fucked,”
“Hah!” The hyena said, “You most certainly are,” Her voice was.. weird during the last sentence, like she was trying to be seductive (Ew, he's EIGHT MA’AM) while still having that horribly raspy quality.
They attacked and it faded to static.
Current Timeline
“Sorry, Ali” Kit apologized sincerely, “I never meant for this to happen,”
“That doesn't matter now,” his emotional brother replied, “You got saved by the nice Satyr lady!”
“The- Ali- Who saved me??” Kit replied with. This is a really fucked up neighborhood, but even if it wasn’t, who in their right mind would save someone from three carnivorous anthros without worrying about their own asses, especially since one was venomous and another was a hyena.
“Hey kiddo,” a voice said from in front of him, “You scared us for a bit there,”
The younger San Joaquin fox anthropomorth looked up to see a Satyr with long muscular black fluffy goat legs, curly ram horns and piercing eyes.
