Chapter Text

CHAPTER 1.

*The sound of the school bell ringing would be heard*

"Hey Todd wanna go hangout at burger mart? i got nothing else to do after school." Mark said giving todd a bored look.

"Eh let's see, my girlfriend Amber has been bugging me to hang out, since we always hangout together." Todd said and gives him a shrug.

They both begin walking down the hallway and eventually parted ways outside of the school.

Mark eventually walked from school to the front steps of his home and opened the door to be greeted to the sight of his dad and mother sitting around the dinner table.

He would take a huge breath outside before stepping into the house.

"Mark you arrived just in time for dinner!" Debbie grayson looks up at him and says it with a small smile on her face.

"What was those chocolate balls filled with cream called again?...." Nolan grayson doesnt even seem to notice that mark was in the house, Nolan seems to be fixated on his phone scrolling like some old person who just found out what a phone was.

"I guess i did arrive in time..."
He takes a seat and seems like he didn't wanna be here.

"Something wrong mark?"
Debbie says with a hint of concern.

Nolan looks up from his phone after being glued to it like a ipad kid.
"Mark if you got something to say to us, you can say it now, we can understand you."
Nolan facial expression changes to a serious straight face.

Mark suddenly raises his voice.
"Im not a kid anymore, so stop treating me like one."
He grits his teeth together in anger before standing up, Leaving the dinner room and upstairs towards his bed room.

Debbie's facial expression turns to a dissapointed mom who raised a kid for 17 years just for him to turn into a brat.

"Calm down, calm down hes just a teenager and hes still in his phase."

Debbie recites to herself two times.

"Well we have to talk to him one day, this phase has been going on for like 3 years, I mean we gave him 3 years and he's still acting like this?, Hes a superhero too."

Nolan holds debbies hand and looks into her eyes.

"Debbie if we dont talk to him now, ill have a talk with him soon and i promised it wont be a easy talk."

It would seem like debbie and nolan was less harsh on mark in the past, making him a little spoiled, This universe mark wasn't scared to express his opinion.

*Inside of marks room.*

Mark begin to take off his clothes and putting on his costume.

"I really need to fly and cool off"
He said in his mind.

He opened his window after dressing and flew to the sky fast.

The cool wind begin hitting him and the bright moon slightly lights him as hes flying.

Mark lands ontop of a skyscraper and sits on the ledge.

"Now this is relaxing, Hate having to come home everyday, just clean, do homework and basically do jack shit."
His mind begins relaxing.

"Although i wish i has more friends."
Peels off his mask and relaxes his chin on his arm.

**Phone begins to ring from Atom Eve"

Mark relunctly answered it.
"Yes?"

*"Hey we need your help, bunch of low tier villains are trying plant some kind of IED in the bank."*

"Arent the others enough already?"

*I guess but with your help it would be much faster and Robot will appreciate you more.*

Mark sighs and looks up to the sky while holding the phone to his ear.

"Sure, ill be there in a minute."

Atom eve lets out a chuckle.

*"Thanks mark."*

Mark hangs up the phone without even saying your welcome.

"I guess whatever."
Mark sets off flying towards the destination.

He lands on the ground and dust his legs off.

**Mark lands a punch on both of the criminals and they are sent flying into a building, crashing into it.**

"Mark what the hell!?"
Atom eve seems shocked and disappointed

"Your breaking government property and risking lives!"

"The government is gonna pay for it anyways, not like there gonna sue invincible."
Mark says it with almost no concern, He shrugs her off and begins going back into the action for more.

*Destruction would lay in the city in the aftermath of the fight*

Everybody regroups at the base
"Cecil is gonna get pissed when he hears about this" Rex says obnoxiously outloud

"Thanks for reminding us thst were gonna get a yelling fucking dork" Monster girl says with annoyance.

"I determined that even though we have won the fight, we may have been to reckless, Invincible.
*Robot's eyes would turn to mark who had a neutral annoyed expression.*

"Why are you looking at me , We technically saved lifes" Mark rolls his eyes back.

"Yea but dont you think it was a little to much? You threw both of the biggest villians into a goddamn building with people in it."
Duplikate raises her voice.

"Whatever, text me again when you need me."
Mark begins breathing in and out to control hid anger coming up.

"Oh no your not leaving until cecil gets here and yells at you!"
Duplikate raises her voice and raises a finger, pointing at mark.

"Calm down Kate, Mark probably didnt mean to and got into the heat of the battle"
Atom eve puts a hand on Kates shoulder.

"We cant have that when we are becoming the new guardians of the globe.."
Kate says with annoyance and eventually calms down.

Cecil suddenly appears out from a portal and he begins fixing his tie.
"well well who do we have here, reckless guardians of the globe yet you guys seem like you cant even keep one building intact."
Cecil says with a serious tone.

"We just got carried away thats all!"
Rex splode says while crossing his arms.

"Getting carried away and accidentally killing civilians? Bullshit."
Cecil tone seems to toughen.

"Next time you do that shit mark and i will tell your parents, they will not be happy.."
Cecil squints and stares at mark grayson who seems to not even bother looking at cecil.

Mark's eyelid begin to start twitching as soon as he heared the word parents.

With a sudden outburst mark yells.
"I dont give a shit what you have to say to my parents, this superhero shit is all fake and bullshit, You think im happy working with people who hate on me all day!?"
Mark says while panting heavily.

"Jesus, Calm down kid"
Cecil gives a slightly noticeably shocked expression as the rest of teen team looks at mark suprised.

"Im done."
Mark flys at super sonic speed and breaks the roof and goes into the sky dramatically.

**The planet of Viltrum, Current time."

**General kregg and thula would watch william from a distance killing a sencient creature.**

"I wonder when his mustache is gonna grow."
Says thula who turns her head towards kregg.

"Dont be so hard on him thula, I got started growing mines at 3."
Kregg says non chalanty.

"What? Already?!."
Thula facial expression turns into a suprised one.

"Hes 18 for fuck sakes Kregg, His mustache should be growing by now.." Thula face contorts to confusion

"Mustache doesn't mean anything." Kregg shrugs it off

"Oh please says the viltrumite with a MUSTACHE."
Theula rolls her eyes.

William begins walking towards to the duo after the easy fight covered in the creatures blood and his poker face would adore Theula.

"I did it."
William says keeping his poker face.

"You may return back to your home now, You did excellent william."
Theula says, with a slight smile

"We expect to you see next week for trials, You have proven to have more capabilitys then the other viltrumite teenagers, The reason why we are here was to see your potential but until then."

William gives them a nod and begins flying back to his home.
"Trials? Huh maybe i can prove myself and i can finally be a big bad viltrumite everyone could fear, even scarier then conquest."
William says in his mind while his light brown hair flys through the air.

**Next week, Present time.**

"Oh look at this sissy, tryna think hes hot shit when he looks so feminine!"
The viltrumite boy would point while laughing at him and the others would chuckle.

William would grind his teeth together in anger but slowly calms down, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

"Shut your mouth boy, this isnt how viltrumites talk."
Thragg says codly to the boy who mocked william.

"Now you two, fight it out in the arena."
He would order the two boys to battle until one of them has the other laying on the floor.

"Oh this is gonna be easy."
The viltrumite boy would say while cracking his knuckles.

William would stare at the boy with his basic poker face.

Kregg flys back on top of a building, sitting next to Theula while watching the fight commence.

"That boy William is fighting isn't gonna stand a chance."

"I know that but i want to see how far William will take it too.

*As the fight clashes, The viltrumite boy would be more confident."

"Ha, you call yourself a viltrumite!"
The boy delivers a blow to williams chest.

*Suddenly in a second William cuts open the boy stomach and his intestines begin to fall out.

*"Aghh!"* The boy would say with blood spilling out of his mouth before ultimately collapsing on the arena.

Kregg and Theyla begin flying down towards the arena.

"Well done William."
Theula says.

"Well your a lucky man, Your in the viltrumite agency now, We thought you could be more like of a good spy or securing a planet if it rebels, We will give you even more training."

William eyes blink at them but nods in agreement.
"Thank you.."
Says William in a soft spoken tone. while keeping his neutral face.

Chapter Text

Nolan would get a signal from the viltrumite empire, It would seem to be very urgent.

"Hey debbie sorry but i might be gone for a while, Hope i dont miss dinner."
Nolan grayson would say, giving debbie a reassuring smile.

"Thats fine dear, Take your time i know how superheros are."
Debbie kisses nolan on the cheek right before Nolan flys away into space.

Meanwhile mark is hanging after school with todd at a park.

"You need to find a girlfriend dude, seriously they are so worth it."

"I dont care todd, there just a waste of time."
Mark says annoyed.

"Are you gay or something? how could you not like woman."
Todd replies.

Mark thinks about that question, Was he homosexual? He was considering it when he had zero love interest for woman, Even in his early teenage years he found some boys attractive.

"No im not a faggot."
Mark rolls his eyes , trying to hide his flushed face.

"Whatever man, if you do tell me your exprience!"
Todd gives mark a light jab to his chest.

*Suddenly Marks phone goes off and it rings, the contact number is his mom..*

"Im gonna take this call real quick."
Mark gets up from the bench and walks away to a different direction.

**Hey mark, Dad is gonna be gone for a bit, just letting you know that he said to take his place, he said he will be gone for a month or less.**

"Mom you know that i dont like taking dad's place, i gotta hangout with people i dont even like, they are all boring and weak."
Mark says with frustration.

"Im gonna smack that mouth young man, Dont call them weak, they are YOUR friends too they help YOU too, got that?"
Debbie's tone suddenly changes.

Mark sighs and huffs in anger.
"Fine whatever."
He quickly hangs up the phone and goes to sit back on the bench.

"What was that all about?"
Todd says while sipping a beer.

"Just parent problems, nothing to worry about."
Mark sits back down and raises a eyebrow at todd.

"Really a beer? in the middle of the night and in a random park.."
Mark gives him a look of saying "Really dude?"

"Dont hate on a man, just tryna have fun."
Todd quickly gulps the rest and crushes the can with his hand."

**Meanwhile on the planet of viltrum, Viltrumite city present time.**

Nolan hovers and flys down before kneeling to King Argall.

"Yes your majesty?"
Nolan says.

"I will be assigning you and Thragg to completely eradicate the unopen species,society and everything."

"I know that your mission was to infiltrate earth but these aliens have been a pain to our empire, a annoying splinter, so thats why im assigning YOU to help Thragg out." Argall says.

"Sir but i have to watch over my son, He might slip up and reveal our plans for earth, I cant even trust him around my pet."
Nolan says pleading to the old emperor.

"Dont worry my humble servant, We already assigned someone to go and watch over your son, Kregg assigned a certain individual who could do the task." Argall signals Kregg who walks infront of Nolan and it appears that a boy is standing next to them.

"I can always count on you your majesty."
Nolan breathes a sigh of relief and flys off to the rendezvous destination with Thragg.

"William? is that your name."
Argall says curiously.

"Y-Yes sir it is, Its a pleasure talking to the emperor of viltrum."
William speaks in a shaking tone.

"Dont be afraid child, We will assign you to a mission, Kregg can brief you.."
Kregg steps foward and takes William to a walk.

"Ahem so your job is to watch over a boy named Mark grayson, Hes a viltrumite warrior like you, but half human. Hes the same age as you and you should be able to spot him from a distance, His fake name is invincible."
Kregg pats william on the shoulders

"We will drop you off nearby the milky way and you will make your way to mark grayson, Dont tell him everything, Another note is that he has anger issues so if you guys fight, Fight like your life depends on it."
Kregg leads William onto the viltrumite ship.

*Back on earth, Present time*

Mark would wake up, Checking his phone and realizing its a saturday.
"Finally got some rest"
*Yawns*
Mark gets up from his bed and opens his curtains.

"HOLY SHIT?!"
Mark would stumble on his ass and fall backwards.

*William would be standing infront of the window, glaring at mark.*
"finally you woke up." william would say.

"Who the fuck are you?!"
Mark gets frustrated because some random person was floating by his window.

"I was sent here to watch over you since your father is not on earth for now."
William stares into mark's eyes.

"Oh great another viltrumite i have to deal with.."
Mark eyes roll.

"Well listen here buddy i dont need you watching over me like unsupervised child, We literally look the same age" Mark blurts out.

"Doesn't matter and your window was open."
William keeps his poker face.

"Are you gonna just stalk me?"
Mark frowns.

"I will be observing you from a distance."
William responds

"That's literally stalking but okay.."
Mark quickly says.

*Marks mind: Wow he's cute but why am i thinking about that now? This guy literally showed up to my window watching me sleep for how long again?*

*Williams thoughts:This mark boy is really oddly handsome.. expected him to look way different but why am i getting these feelings?*

Awkward silence and its just them staring at eachother..

*Marks cheeks turn red*

"So uhm your name...?"
Mark says to break the silence while blushing.

" So eager.. and Why should i?"
William responds back

"Its fine if you have to keep it private, just wondering!"
Mark scratches the back of his head nervously while blushing.

*Williams thoughts:He has puppy eyes.. Why is this making me act so strang-*
His mind suddenly gets cut off and flinches a bit.

"Are you there?..."
Mark says curiously, staring directly into williams eyes.

"Fuck he's cute."
Marks mind scramble.

William quickly thinks of a excuse
"Ah yes i was just... what do humans call it? oh zoned out.."
Keeping his poker face and sits on marks window ledge, staring into the rising sunset.

"Well my name is William.."
Says while staring off into the sky.

"Thats a c-cut- i mean nice name you got!"
Mark quickly corrects himself and lets out a nervous chuckle, His face turning red.

*Marks mind:Talk about butterflys in my stomach.*

*Williams thoughts:Has he infected me with something? what is this feeling.."

*Quick dialogue *

*Location:The pentagon*

"Who the hell is THAT!?"
Cecil says in confusion and anger

"Its another viltrumite but we suddenly lost track of his location..." Donald quickly says

"Well hurry Donald, We dont know if hes gonna be a threat to mark."

*Afternoon, At Marks room*

"Didnt expect you to enter the movie theatre and literally watch me, I mean everyone was staring at us..* Mark says with a small chuckle.

"I have to observe and look after you mark, thats my job after all."
William continues staring at him blankly.

"Even in my sleep?.."
Maek says wide eyed.

William gives him a firm nod and looks at him with his glistening gray eyes.

"Soooo... "
Mark says blushing a bit.

"I have to undress soon.. does that mean youre gonna be watching me?.."
Mark says with red cheeks and looks away.

The tension seems thick and William squints his eyes at mark, carefully studying him after he said that but doesnt give a response.

"Was that too much?.."
Mark says nervously

Mark begins undressing himself just to his boxers and a noticeable bulge appears.

*Williams thoughts: "Is it normal for humans to do this? i am so confused... but his body isnt bad for a half viltrumite, It looks hard i guess."*

Mark puts a shirt back on.
"Sorry that you had to see that William"

William just looks into the sky and begins to fly away from the ledge of the window.

"Wait!"
Mark blurts out, causing william stop and look back at mark.

"Yes..?"
William says looking behind him

"Can you stay for a bit? Please.."
Mark looks at william directly in the eyes.

Mark exhales and begins to talk again to stir the conversation up
"Sorry that i have been acting like this, Never really had any friends."
Mark says embarrassingly and he looks down at the floor.

William steps inside of marks room.
"Is your 2nd guardian here?"
He says.

"My mom? oh shes going to visit some real estate friend named Paul.."
Mark says back.

"Oh uhm a real estate agent is a person who sells or rents a house i think?.."
Mark is unsure of himself.

"Must be exhausting then."
William responds back fast.

"So your just home alone?"

"Yea."
Mark says and sits on the edge of his bed

"Never really had any friends either.. everyone thought i was weak until i proved them wrong, Even then i was a outcast to the other viltrumite young adults."
William say's admitting but never changing his expression.

William suddenly notices mark is slowly inching his way closer and mark begins to carefully touch williams hand on the bed, causing William to squint at mark.

"What are you trying to do human?."
Continues staring at mark.

Mark slowly inches his face closer to William and begins to feel that he's kind of into him, staring at Williams soft lips.

Suddenly he kisses William on the lips, causing william to flinch away quickly with a confused blushing look.

"What was the point of that?"
William says now looking confused and slightly irritated.

"Shit sorry i dont know why i did that either."
Mark covers his whole face with his hands, trying to hide from William.

Mark doesnt notice but William begins licking his own his lips and tasting it but stops a second after.

"I'll just go then."
William says as he begins lifting marks window and begins to fly in the cold air to somewhere...
