Gem and Pearl live in the same apartment together, they've met in Highschool and been best friends ever since. They dated in university—and have ought to love each other as long as they can live.
Pearl was feeling quite bored at midnight, she looked at the window to see beautiful stars beside the night sky, she looked at Gem and decided to ask her something, she moved closer to her “Gemmmm…” she said bored.
“Yesss??” Gem replied back, slightly confused—Pearl put her hand into Gem's chest and asked her: “Can we go star-gazing?” Gem looked surprised but happy to hear that. “I thought you would never ask!”
Pearl clinged to Gem as she was standing up, Gem grabbed some cup noodles and heated them up to bring them up to the rooftop. Pearl kisses Gem on the cheek and leaned on her. Gem pours the boiling, hot water in the cup noodles and lays down on the couch.
“You're cute.” She looked Pearl and cuddles with her for about 3 minutes. Gem gently moved away from Pearl and moved to the counter, she stirred it and took a sip, it surprisingly wasn't that hot. “Let's go to the rooftop!” Pearl immediately shot up and ran besides Gem.
they walked on the stairs leading towards the rooftop, as they walked close to the cliff, Gem realised they needed a table “Pearl? Can you grab the like, foldable table?” Pearl smiles “Yeah sure!” she walks downstairs, Gem sits down on the floor waiting for pearl, imagining some things she can do—she places down the mattress.
Pearl comes back with the table, “Thank you!” Gem gives Pearl a peck on the cheek, Pearl blushes intensely and just lays down on the mattress, Gem places the table down and puts the cup noodles on it.
Pearl pulls Gem down with her “Pearll!” Gem says—annoyed but not mad, Pearl snuggles into Gem's chest, They gaze upon the night, the stars being beautiful as always. “You are as pretty as the moon Pearl.” Gem compliments her, combing her hair with her fingers.
Pearl cheeks become rosy, Pearl holds Gem’s hands and cuddles her, the time passes fast—most of the building's lights turn off, Gem gazes into Pearl's eyes, Gem closes their faces together, Pearl puts her hand on Gem's back. They pull back after 25 minutes, losing breath. “I Love you.’
