    The Empire has been described as many things. A savior. An oppressor. A peacekeeping force. A decree. Inescapable. Immovable. Crushing. Powerful.
    But what the Empire truly is, at the end of the day, is what all authoritarian governments become: a disease. The disease begins by infecting one person. Then, that person passes the disease to another. While at first able to be ignored, over time the disease spreads from planet to planet until it has infected the entire galaxy. And it is not a disease that kills; but rather, a disease that kills the spirit, but keeps the body living.
    What do you do with saviors? With oppressors? With an army to keep the peace, with governments of all forms? The answers are rather complicated.
    But with an infectious disease, there is only one answer:
    Total and complete eradication.
