Mike wheeler was always bad at things, he was a crybaby, he cried when his dad hit him, he cried when he cut himself, he cried over his parents fights, he cried when will 'died' hes always been a pussy, when someone yells at mike he becomes a sad puppy, but mike...Is a crybaby, one day after school and getting beaten up by his dad, he goes straight to his drawer, and grabs his favourite blade...he may or may not have gotten carried away and cut his thighs and arms for hours...how is he gonna hide this...fuckkk, mike thought to himself, he thought he was so dumb and cut himself again out of anger, he bandaged himself up, how is he gonna hide this from the party..i mean not that he actually likes the party anymore, he stopped going ever since max did, he started to hate everyone, especially his dad...later at dinner mike just sat in his room, no one would come to check on him, Nancy was too busy talking to Jonathan since the byers came back to lenora, mikes been avoiding will, he doesnt want will to see him at his lowest, actually he doesnt want anyone to see him like...this...but later mike over heard Nancy saying that the byers are gonna be staying over for a while, fuck he doesnt wanna see el, not since theyre break up, he doesnt wanna see anyone FUCK, he wishes everyone would just not bother him for days so he could crawl up in his bed and sleep all day every day, mike puts his fingers around his wrist, seeing how skinny he is, mikes been obsessed with getting skinnier recently, he dosent know why, all he knows is that hes fucked up...and he loves it, he doesnt want anyone to 'make' him better, he'd rather die, well in all situations he would always wanna die, later that night mike wants to go out for a smoke, he doesnt have any cigs, he needs also to get out of the house without his dad seeing him and beating him the fuck up, he decides hes gonna attempt to go through his mom's stash, once he gets a cigarette, he now needs to sneak downstairs, his dad is pasted out on the couch, ted had to many beers...again, Mike successfully gets out of the house, god hes bored 'how about I go to the town square.. that would be ok i guess.
Mike bikes to the town square a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, once he arrives he plans to just walk around until his legs get tired, until he bumps into the byers family, oh fuck fuck fuck mike thought to himself "Mike..?" Will says, god will is so cute "uhhhhhhh no?" Mike says back "micheal wheeler gets that thing out of your fucking mouth now," hopper says grabbing his cigarette "sorry..?" Mike says back "oh mike i haven't seen you in so long!! Its been months and—" Will says hugging mike, mike kinda just...freezes hoping no one will notice his bandages, Joyce also hugs mike but Jonathan and hopper stare me down...anddd fuck el is looking at me too just perfect timing "i-im gonna go" Mike says lighting another cigarette trying to avoid embarrassment, a few days after that mike had an episode, so now hes like covered and bandages and he has to meet with everyone so what does he do? Not go, but later that dsy the party comes to mikes house, "oh hello boys, is everyone ok?" Karen wheeler asks "yes, can we see micheal?? He didnt show up..we are worried" dustin says "course boys come right in,!" Karen says, as everyone goes up to mikes room, mike has his walkman on, his room smells like cigarettes and blood, ew, "wheeler, get your ass out of here" steve says, "yeah cmon wheeler" robin says "fine...jeez" mike says, hes clearly annoyed but gets up and gets changed, lighting a cigarette, "since when did you smoke??" Lucas says, "since i wanted to dumbass" mike replies his arms are covered in bandages but no one says anything, too scared of the truth.."where are we even going?" Mike says, "to the lake, since byers back we thought we would celebrate with a lake party, cmon wheeler its fun!!" Steve says, fuck mike doesnt wanna swim his cuts would hurt that hell and he doesnt want anyone to find out either, once they all biked to the lake mike stayed on shore, everyone was telling him to go in the water but...all mike wanted was to sleep all day, later after everyone gets tired mike sneaks away to go back to his house Mike bedrot's for a few days, all hes doing is cutting himself and smoking, one day the party comes in randomly whiles he bandaging his cuts, they look nasty, red, and brutal "mike...?" El says softly, the others just look in shock, "u-u-uh guys...Get out!!" Steve moves closer to mike, "wheeler..? Did you do this??? Or did a demogorgan attack you..jesus," steve says, mike starts to tear up, he feels so embarrassed and dumb "g-g-GET OUT." Will stares at mike in...shock..he never expected THIS from..anyone especially mike, the party leaves but will refuses to leave mike alone..he sits down on mikes bed as mike cried softly. "Mike..talk to me! Please.." mike doesnt look up at will..he cant face to see will, he cant let will see him like this. "Will...im disgusting...and...el broke up with me and im a total fucking mess i-i" mike says as he cries more, "no no no no..mike..its okay just..," Will says as he moves over to mike hugging him softly, "shh, it will all be okay.." Will says, he even kisses mikes cheek while doing this, mike blushes softly, still upset but...better with wills kiss. The next morning rolls around mike feels like shit waking up, god his body is sore, he wakes up and sees will sleeping on the floor, "Will..." mike says softly "huh, mike?" Will says sleepily, later will drags mike to the party to hang out, mike feels embarrassed being there but will holds mikes hand, everyone knows the truth now but...will is here...it makes him way better during a momment where it's quiet, steve speaks up "wheeler. What is up with you...why—" steve gets cut off by will "shut up steve hes obviously embarrassed." Will says defensively "Jesus will, calm down" Steve says, "Im just worried about little wheeler here, you know walking in on someone..." Steve cant even bring himself to say the word cutting himself, "Someone doing that yk..its hard to forget.." Steve says, "Be glad Nancy isnt here, or saw that she...well you know her" Steve says, "Yeah yeah I get it steve." Mike replies defensively, (A FEW DAYS LATER, will has been sleeping in mikes room for the past couple days) *Mikes alarm clock goes off* but he cant bring himself to get up, there's no reason to anymore. Mike proved that to himself, "Ughhh I dont wanna go to school," Mike says sleepily. "I know i know Mike, but cmon, we have school," Will says, hes alredy dressed, Mike honestly forgot that Will was here..it makes his heart flutter slightly that Will cares so much about mike..but Mike pushes that thought aside, "Yeah..just five more minutesss" Mike groans, "Fine, but five. Minutes. Only." Will says, *At school,* mikes been avoiding everyone but will recently, Mike feels ashamed but still..hes a wimp. Just like his dad says so, Will notices mike zooning out instead of eating, he noticed mike has been doing this alot recently, it worries Will, I mean..Especially finding out about mikes...depression..? Jeez, it hurts Will to even say the word, "Mike? Earth to micheal!" Will says giggling slightly, mike snaps out of his day dream, "Sooo, whats going on in your head of yours instead of talking to me huh?" Will says, half jokingly, "N-nothing..dont mind it," Mike says sheepishly, "How am I supposed to 'not mind it' when its happening alot micheal.." Will says, mike gets a tiny bit pissed off at the use of his full name, "Stop.." Mike says, "Sorry. Just making a point." Will says sarcastically, "Im gonna go check on dustin. Just..do whatever." Will says coldly, hes a bit pissed off with mike, mike takes this chance to go sneak off to the bathroom to throw up, anyway its not like he even likes the cafeteria food, its shitty. Mike vomits all the food out, its not that he likes vomiting or that stuff, he just likes the feeling of that empty stomach burn. Its like he accomplished something, more like getting closer to starving to death. Mike knew that if will saw mike like this, he would be done for, so luckily mikes perfect pushing everyone away person helped get will upset with mike, *MEANWHILE,* back at the cafeteria will is panicking, he cant find mike, he runs into the boys bathroom to be hit with the smell of vomit and weed from the other guys,
"UH? Mike????? You okay are you in here..? Hello??" Will says nervously, (AUTHOR HERE BTW, UUH I KNOW THIS IS A SHITTY FANFIC I CANNOT WRITE VERY GOOD..GIVE ME IDEAS IF I SHOULD MAKE MIKE LIKE GET POSSESED BY VECNA OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT) "Mike! There you are jesus, are you okay??" Will says, finding Mike in a stall and hugging him, "Yeah..I'm ok." Mike says in a tone will doesnt understand, or know.."Hey mike, maybe you could sleepover, yk in our new house since we moved," Will says, trying to distract them from what's happening, "but..el...I don't wanna see her..its...embarrassing after our breakup," Mike says softly "Hey hey, don't worry, it'll be just us, popcorn and some movies, what do you say?" Will says, mike thinks how this could sound like a date to other people, but not to mike..will would never love him..right..? "Fine, tonight I'll bike to your place.." mike says witch makes will happy, At the byers new house, Mike hasn't been here yet, witch is weird beacuse mike used to go to there house everyday.. "Hi Joyce.." mike says, feeling hoppers eyes on him "Hey sweetie! El's in the kitchen," she says "OH im not here for el..im here for will..actually.." he says, hopper relax's for a bit, "Ah okay sweetie, wills in his room" Joyce sais Mike suddenly feels embarrassed..he doesn't even know where wills room is..so he just goes into the first door he sees, "Will?—oh..el.." mike says Fuck this is el's ROOM!? "Mike? Why are you here i said to stay away..i need space" She says, "Im not here for you..im here for will.." he says quietly "Well then go to his room!" El says, closing the door with her powers Mike walks down the hall until he finds wills room, he smiles
