"Mira stared at the screen, her body locked into place. Her heart pounded as she read the words over and over. Mira felt sick.
Serial killers? That can’t be right. It must be some sort of joke, or maybe these people are way too into their role-playing fantasies. But Mira’s intuition told her that this was very real and now she was in a dangerous situation. Somehow her questions had been seen as serial killer asking for guidance, rather than a writer trying to gain understanding. Her eyes drifted to rule number five again.

Mira is trying to write a novel but is struggling to get the words out. Her research takes her to some dark places on the internet and a stranger sends her an invitation to a private server.
