For the tainted sorrow,
Today too snow falls on it,
For the tainted sorrow,
Today too wind blows on it.

The small ginger curled into a ball furthee, trying to hide himself in the corner of the cell. "What are you doing Chuuya-San?" An identical voice asked skeptically, almoat mockingly. "A-258...Professor N tried to inject something in me but it was too painful, so he slapped me and yelled at me to stay still, a-and I started crying, so he said we'll do this again tomorrow..." He explained with tears in his eyes.
The other just sighed and pinched the bridge of hia nose, then replied, "firstly, don't call me that. I prefer Nakahara-San. So what? It's just a small needle. There's nothing to be scared of."
"But A- I mean Nakahara-San, you don't understand...!" He replied, which boiled his irritation to anger. "Yeah, of course I don't understand because your the 'only' person who suffers through it?!" He snapped, staring at him coldly. Of course he didn't understand. The more he was with Chuuya, the more he remembers that he's not real.
A-258 was designed perfectly; synthetic ginger hair, ocean blue eyes, pink-ish skin tone and rosy red cheeks–but he lacked one and only one thing: a soul. Professor N said something about how he's made from 2,383 lines of codes. That how he was perfect. That how his only flaw was having no soul.
It was repeated specifically around him so many times, it felt like the world was trying to mock him.He sighed and wrapped his hand around the small dagger hidden under his gown. He found it earlier on the floor, so he took it.
Maybe...
Maybe if he used this dagger to harm, or even kill Chuuya, he would stop remembering that he was not a copy. Not a clone. Maybe he would be the only, real Chuuya.
Just maybe...
"Nakahara-San...?" Chuuya said quietly, avoiding eye-contact. It snapped him out of his intrusive thoughts. "What." He replied cooly. "Sorry about earlier." The other ginger replied begrudgingly. "I was feeling, y'know..."
The clone exhaled and nodded, although he knew Chuuya didn't saw his nod. "It's fine. I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier too." He replied with fake politeness the other ginger fell for. "Yeah..."
Silence dragged on in the small cell. They stayed in their same positions for a while, then the clone spoke up abruptly, breaking the intense silence. "I'm hungry! Should we ask for food from Professor N?"
Chuuya looked up at him with surprise when he had decided to speak again, then smiled warmly, glad that they have resolved from their small fight.
"Yeah sure."
He just had to stay here with him for a bit longer until his plan can start working out.
