   Summary

   Solstice is a slugcat. She has two pups. They're a happy family, simply traveling along an overseer's path... Until something horrible befalls the family at the hands of an Iterator, and Solstice grows to realize that Iterators are dangerous. Certainly they're all this dangerous, right? All of them mean harm?? And all of these foolish slugcats running about, even befriending these Iterators... They have no idea, do they? But what if someone helped convince these slugcats that Iterators are truly dangerous? Convinced them to fight, to kill, to defend themselves...? What then?
