   Summary

   I drearily wake up on my thin mattress , cold sweat making my clothes stick to my damp skin. My eyes and limbs feel heavy and my joints ache in the painfully familiar way they always do in the morning. I feel disoriented as though part of me is still stuck in my dreams. I roll onto my back, staring into the ceiling as I try to will myself into getting up. My back cracks as I sit up and run my hand through my hair. “Greasy” I think, but I can’t really bring myself to care like I should. Since the formal I’ve been like this, barely even caring for my necessities even less any form of actual self care.
