Who didn't like coffee on a snowy morning?
A warm mug of sweetened coffee sat in between Naruto's hands with a fluffy blanket draped over his shoulders as he watched the children in the neighbourhood roll a gigantic ball of snow. They started bickering and one of the boys threw a snow ball at another boy, who then threw one back—it hit a tall man passing by.
Naruto knew that tall man. It was his boyfriend. He let out a laugh, sipping on his coffee as he watched Sasuke's face tighten in frustration. His lips parted and his mouth moved but Naruto couldn't hear. The next second, another snowball attacked Sasuke and his jaw almost dropped at the disrespect, and he formed his own snowball and threw it at the kid.
It did not end well. Three kids lunged at him with snowballs as he ran towards the house and locked the door, panting heavily with wet clothes.
"Didn't know you were into snowball fights," Naruto laughed, walking over into the kitchen to refill his empty blue mug.
Sasuke's brows furrowed as he patted off the snow in the entryway before stepping inside. "Kids are getting so unbelievably hostile these days." He unzipped his jacket and hung it onto the silver hook beside the shoe cabinet. Sasuke walked towards the couch and slumped down, throwing the blanket on himself.
"You literally threatened to choke me when you were a kid."
"That doesn't sound like me."
"You punched me right after you said that."
A faint smirk grew on Sasuke's lips as Naruto set down a mug of black coffee in front of him. "It was a punch of love."
"Teme! I had to go to the hospital!"
"Because of how much love and tenderness it had?" Sasuke joked, tilting his head as he leaned back onto the couch.
"No. It was because I had a fucking concussion." Naruto rolled his eyes as he sat on the other end of the couch and reached for the manga sitting on the table. He let out an audible yawn, flipping through the pages he had read a thousand times because he was too lazy to go to the bookstore to grab more.
Well, he did make plans with Sasuke to go today, but waking up to see his yard filled with snow as deep as two feet demotivated him by a ton. His poor boyfriend had insisted on driving to see Naruto regardless of the change of plans, so at least he wasn't completely bored and alone even though he already assumed their day would consist of either peace and quiet or endless bickering and taunting—though it wasn't a total bummer because they cuddled after, anyway. They'd been together for only a year but known each other since childhood so it made sense for them to always be over at each other's places. They practically knew each other's whole routine that Naruto didn't even need to ask where he was because Sasuke almost made it a point to tell his boyfriend about the smallest of things.
"Don't you have work to do? Why are you just gawking at me."
Sasuke shrugged, scooting closer towards Naruto leisurely. "Itachi should be handling it. Father's at the office today, too, so I'm not worried."
Naruto threw his head back, threading a hand through his hair. "Have I told you how stupidly cool your fucking profession is? Like you just sit down and argue with people all day and make thousands in a day?"
Sasuke's smirk widened as his side was touching Naruto's now. "Quite a few times, actually." His arm snuggled around Naruto's waist as the blond leaned in just a fraction. "And somehow, it still doesn't feel enough."
"You just get off on hearing me praise you, don't you?" Naruto asked, tilting his head up imperceptibly to catch the satisfied look on Sasuke's face.
"Not true," he said, voice jollier.
"Fuck yeah, it's true. Look—you're doing it again!" Naruto almost gasped, playfully hitting Sasuke's arm as he held in a chuckle. "You're seriously an idiot."
Sasuke shifted Naruto on his lap as he rested his head back onto the couch and stared up at Naruto with a tender look. "And you still love me, so what does that make you? A bigger of an idiot?"
"Take off your pants." The blond grabbed the collar of Sasuke's shirt.
"...What?" Sasuke paused, his eyes widening before he began unbuttoning his shirt. "You should've told me if you were horny. I would've grabbed condoms on my way here."
"Sasuke," Naruto's voice grew whinier as Sasuke anchored his hands on his hips and shifted Naruto closer onto his lap. "I'm not horny. Your pants are just soaking wet. You need to change." The tips of his ears tinted red.
"...Oh. Right. I need to change." He mumbled as Naruto shook his head before climbing out of his lap.
"I washed the pants you forgot here yesterday. They're on top of my dresser." Naruto explained as Sasuke sighed, getting up.
He shook his head. "I'm grabbing your favourite pyjamas."
"The one with bows?"
"Yes." The curves of Sasuke's lips lifted as he disappeared into Naruto's bedroom.
"No..." Naruto muttered in despair, getting off the couch and running to his room. "Teme! I was going to wear them tonight!"
"You sleep in your boxers." Sasuke corrected, unzipping his pants.
Naruto burst in. "No. I wear the matching pair of boxers and pyjamas!"
"These fit just fine."
"Yeah, perfect. You're staying over." Naruto narrowed, his eyes scanning Sasuke's fit figure.
