Summary
He heads towards a small booth in the back, sitting down as he glances out of the window, watching the rain fall, the people walk, some with family, others rushing, some with pets. he hums softly as he takes a bite of his muffin.
The world is grey and wet. Yet… The people outside don't seem to notice, children jumping in puddles with their colorful rainboots, teenagers laughing with their friends.
It stirs something he long buried, a longing for something like that, unique to him, that won't judge him, or the way he is as a whole. He sets down his muffin so he can take a sip of his coffee, savoring the bitter wake-up call of caffeine.
This is the story of a man named Azreil.
