Summary
Falkreath hold was supposed to be where Zyklos disappeared for good: a nameless hunter and Maormer exile at the edge of a graveyard town, answerable to no one. Saving Valion Oronar – ex-Justiciar, yet still painfully Thalmor – ruins that plan.
As the world burns and an ancient Word brands itself into Zyklos's bones, he and Valion are forced to confront the things that made them: empires, faiths, and powers far older than either, and two men who have nowhere left to belong have to decide whether they can build a home in each other instead.
