   Summary

   Following the destruction of Vecna (and the effects of the Gate merging with Hawkins), the town is left not only scarred by fissures but by a creeping illness.

   Nancy, now an intern at the Indianapolis Star, doesn't believe the official story of "contaminated water" or "earthquake fallout."
