Summary
The Crucifix: a symbol of unwavering love, of hope, and of the ultimate sacrifice for mankind. The image that adorns the necks of millions of followers, that marks millions of homes of believers. It tells the story of one being, fully God and fully man, taking on the burdens and sins of all his children, and dying so that they may be forgiven by the world, by his Father. This Holy man loved all of humanity—even the ones that sent him to his death—so much that he gave up his life for them.
Remus knows this story all too well.
Or; It's 1973, and Remus's mother is dead. He’s inexplicably shipped off to Holy Name, a Catholic boarding school, by his father. There, all the while still grappling with his grief, Remus is faced with pieces of himself he hadn’t known existed before, while ultimately still trying to be the good Catholic boy he was raised to be.
