Minjoon Rare Trope Bingo 1: Spies and Secret Agents.

You and I Together (It Just Feels So Right.)

“You want me to off an accountant?” Jimin asks Yoongi who sighs and rubs at his temples.

I don't want you to do anything, our client wants you to off this guy," Yoongi says handing Jimin the manila folder back. "Apparently, the guy wants you to get close to him first, though. Don't ask why because I don't know, just do your research and figure something out." Yoongi says shooing Jimin out of his office and leaving no room for argument. Jimin nearly bumps into Jeongguk as they both try to get through Yoongi's door at the same time and Jeongguk avoids eye contact while Jimin smirks.

"Try not to be so loud this time you two, I could hear you all the way down the hall in my office last time," Jimin says with a laugh as he pulls the door closed just in time to miss being hit by a stapler.

When Jimin gets home after his shower, he sits on his couch and starts looking over the manila folder to study his target. As he reads over the file he scoffs catching the attention of his roommate Taehyung and his boyfriend Seokjin.

"What's wrong?" Taehyung asks from Seokjin's lap where the older is running his fingers through his hair.

"This guy is probably the most boring person I've ever had to kill. He goes to the same coffee place every day and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays he gets a Caramel Macchiato and Tuesdays and Thursdays he gets a White Chocolate Mocha." Jimin says mumbling something about the guy being a 'pretentious asshole' under his breath.

"Maybe he just likes those two drinks?" Seokjin offers with a small shrug.

"Yeah, and I like cherry vodka but you don't see me drinking that every day," Jimin says and Taehyung snorts.

"Not everyone is a top secret agent like you Jimin. Maybe the guy likes having a boring life." Taehyung offers sitting up to lean against Seokjin's shoulder and kiss at his jaw.

"My life is boring sometimes too. For instance, instead of getting laid right now, I'm sitting here watching my roommate grope his boyfriend." Jimin says giving the two a pointed glare.

"Let's move this to the bedroom Jin hyung, someone is peeping." Taehyung stage whispers pulling Seokjin up off the couch.

"Have fun with your case," Jin shouts back over his shoulder with a small wave. Jimin rolls his eyes and puts his headphones in to ignore the moans that he knows are going to be coming sooner rather than later. As Jimin reads over the file a little more, he can't help but question his bosses moral standing because this guy literally doesn't do anything. He doesn't even have a jaywalking ticket, so why does someone want to kill him? Jimin sets the folder down when his eyes start to burn from staring at it for so long and tries to think of a plan. Yoongi wants him to get close to the guy which means that this is something personal and Jimin hates missions like this the most. He's had to do this a plethora of times but it never seems to get easier no matter how long he's been in the business. It's not as hard to stomach when the people are actually terrible human beings but this guy seems so harmless. He shakes his head and sighs; he'll just have to ask Yoongi more about it tomorrow morning.

"Jimin, I already told you I don't know why they want this guy dead but they do." Yoongi sighs with his head in his hands. Jimin spots a dark purple hickey on his neck but he decides to leave the teasing for later because he really needs answers right now.

"Come on boss, you have to know something," Jimin says exasperatedly and Yoongi glares at him.

"It is too early in the morning to deal with your shit, Park Jimin. Have you figured out a way to get close to him, yet?" Yoongi asks completely ignoring Jimin's queries and rubbing at his temples.

"Yeah, the guy does the same thing every day like clockwork, it won't be hard at all to get close to him," Jimin says with a small shrug.

“The client wants you to take your time too. They want you to really get to know him first.” Yoongi tells him looking straight in his eyes.

"Alright, fine, but that means I won't be coming to work for a while," Jimin tells Yoongi lifting his feet onto Yoongi's desk. Yoongi glares at him and smacks his feet down with a roll of his eyes.

"Whatever, you were gonna drop off the face of the earth with any case I would have given you so what's new?" Yoongi says straightening the things on his desk again.

"So, now that work talk is out of the way, I'm genuinely curious about how many times have you let Jeongguk fuck you on this desk?" Jimin asks with a wide smile and a raised brow. Yoongi has good aim with a stapler, but it was so totally worth it to see the red tint on his face even though he will have a large bruise on his chest come morning.

“What are you doing up so early?” Taehyung asks as Jimin walks out of his room yawning.

"Work," Jimin answers plainly scratching at his bare stomach.

“You usually don't wake up for like,” Taehyung looks at his wrist watch “three more hours. What gives?”

"I'm outsourcing today," Jimin says with a small smile. "Remember the target I told you guys about? Well, my mission is to get close to him and then take him out." Jimin says with a shrug.

"I thought you hated doing that?" Taehyung asks raising a worried eyebrow at him.

"I do, but it's my job so I'm gonna do it anyway," Jimin says standing to grab a bowl to get cereal.

It isn't until later when he's sitting at Starbucks waiting for his White Chocolate Mocha that he realizes he doesn't really know what Namjoon Kim even looks like which strikes him as suspicious. Yoongi is the most attentive boss he's ever had and he's never half-assed a case file this way before, so why is he doing it now? Jimin doesn't have time to ponder as a White Chocolate Mocha for Namjoon is called out and he rushes to the counter to grab at it.

"Um, that's actually my drink." A deep voice says and Jimin looks up to see who his next target is. When he looks up he sees dimples first. Very deep, very cute dimples attached to a very cute face.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought I was the only person who ordered these," Jimin says with a small smile. The flush on his face isn't all that staged at the moment.

"I thought the same thing, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one of us named Namjoon." The man says and Jimin feels like he could swim in the man's deep honey-smooth voice.

"Well, you're right about that. I'm Jimin." Jimin introduces just before they call for his identical drink. "You wanna maybe have these drinks together? I could use the company." Jimin offers, biting his lip and his act (it's totally an act ok, he doesn't mean this at all) seems to work as Namjoon nods and tells him to lead the way.

“So, I've never seen you around here before, this your first time?” Namjoon says taking a sip of his drink but focusing fully on Jimin.

"Yeah actually, I just moved here a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been able to get out much so this is the first time I've been able to come here," Jimin says holding his drink between his hands to warm them. It's pretty cool in the cafe and Jimin shivers slightly.

“You cold?” Namjoon asks with a small chuckle.

"Freezing," Jimin admits taking a sip of his drink. As much as he hates to admit it, the drink is fantastic and he mentally apologizes for calling Namjoon a pretentious asshole.

"Not used to Seoul weather, huh?" Namjoon asks grasping his hand boldly. The blush on his cheeks is still one hundred percent fake. It's not real at all. It isn't!

"I guess you could say that," Jimin says with a nod as he takes another sip of his amazingly sweet drink sending Namjoon a smile.

When Jimin makes it back home hours later, Taehyung is laying in his bed with a book open in front of him that he's obviously not paying attention to. He sees Taehyung's phone light up with a notification and he figures that Taehyung is too busy texting Seokjin to pay much attention to his work so he doesn't feel bad for interrupting.

"I'm screwed," Jimin says as he plops down on Taehyung's bed beside him.

"Where have you been?" Taehyung asks looking over at Jimin briefly before going back to texting Seokjin.

“Just out trying to lose my job, apparently.” Jimin sighs dramatically and Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"Since I know you're just dying to tell me, explain what you mean by that." So Jimin does exactly that; he tells him about the (strictly professional business) meeting (it was not a date it was a meeting) he went on with Namjoon and Taehyung listens thoroughly until Jimin finishes his story.

"Would it be bad if I laughed right now?" Taehyung asks completely seriously and Jimin hits him in the face with a pillow.

"Yes! What am I supposed to do, Tae? He asked me out to dinner tomorrow and I can't just say no." Jimin says pouting up at Taehyung.

“Can't say no or don't want to say no?” Taehyung asks but Jimin ignores him.

"I have an idea!" Jimin says sitting up abruptly with a smile. "Shoot me in the foot so I'm forced to say no." He's still smiling but Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"I'm not shooting you in the foot. Just do what you think is right, Chim. Worse case scenario would be that you tell Yoongi to give up the case and someone else comes after him but, on the bright side, you are a spy so you can just protect him until one of you dies or you break up. Problem solved." Taehyung offers cheerily and Jimin smacks him across the face with a pillow again. Jimin's phone vibrates in his pocket and, after he looks to see that the message is from Namjoon, he screams into a pillow. "Is it Namjoon?" Jimin nods and Taehyung grabs his phone from him.

I know it's like lame to text someone so soon but I just wanted to tell you that I had a great time at the cafe today and I'll (hopefully) get to see you tomorrow. – Joon.

“What does it say?” Jimin says peeking up over the pillow. Taehyung shows him the phone and, even though he definitely sees the blush spreading across Jimin's face, he keeps that bit of information to himself in an act of self-preservation. Jimin's trained with every weapon known to man; he could kill Taehyung and Taehyung may not even realize it until days later, that's how good he is!

“What are you gonna do?” Taehyung asks with a raised brow. Jimin gets a look of determination on his face as he texts Namjoon back.

"My job," Jimin says with a determined nod.

Now, a little over 24 hours later, after he's thrown out everything he had in his closet, (“For this to be 'just your job' you sure are trying hard to impress the guy.” “I don't know what you're talking about.” “You're wearing your leather 'fuck me' pants, the hell you don't know what I'm talking about.”) he's standing outside an upscale restaurant with Namjoon smiling down at him as he leads him into the restaurant.

"This place seems like it's fancy but it's really not as intimidating as it seems," Namjoon tells him holding open the door for him like a gentleman. Jimin really has to disagree with that statement when he walks into what seems to be a black tie affair and he raises his eyebrows at Namjoon. "Too fancy?" Namjoon asks biting down on his lip.

“A little. I feel under-dressed.” Jimin says motioning to his outfit. “How about we get out of here and go somewhere more casual?” Jimin asks grasping Namjoon's hand (and he doesn't blush when Namjoon intertwines their fingers either. He doesn't!) “Mind if I drive?” Jimin asks when they make it to Namjoon's car and Namjoon tosses him the keys.

"Be my guest." Jimin drives them to a familiar area and when he parks at a very familiar club, he turns to Namjoon with a smile. "What are we doing here?" Namjoon asks him with a small smile.

"We're clubbing and eating street food that's definitely not good for us but tastes really good when you're drunk. Don't tell me I'm on a date with a nerd who doesn't go clubbing." Jimin challenges with a raised brow and Namjoon scoffs.

"I am anything but a nerd," Namjoon says with his chest puffed out at the challenge.

"Prove it," Jimin says getting out of the car and waiting for Namjoon to catch up to him. The club is, as he expected, filled to the brim with sweaty men and women grinding on each other but the bass pumping through the building and running through his system is enough to make him relax as he leads Namjoon to the bar.

“What can I get you guys?” The bartender asks when Jimin waves them over.

“Two of the strongest drinks you have.” The bartender smiles and nods as he goes off to make their drinks. Jimin turns to Namjoon looking at the dance floor apprehensively and he gives him a concerned look. “You ok?” Jimin shouts over the music and Namjoon shrugs.

"Just not really a great dancer is all," Namjoon says and Jimin smiles and brings him down so he can hear him talk better.

"Then you're in luck because I am a great dancer," Jimin tells him just as the bartender brings over their drinks. "Bottoms up," Jimin says clinking his cup with Namjoon's and downing it in one gulp. The drink stings his throat in the best way and he starts feeling the effects of it within minutes. "Let me teach you how to dance, yeah?" Jimin says leading Namjoon to the center of the dance floor. Jimin will be the first to admit that his dancing isn't very...well, innocent when he gets a feel for the rhythm and he can tell that he's affecting Namjoon with his sensual movements. Namjoon is holding his hips with his large hands and Jimin is grinding on him something fierce and, if you were to ask Jimin he would tell you that it was a total accident when he leaned up to kiss Namjoon deeply. Jimin isn't sure when they finally pull away from each other but he does know that the song changed at least once during the course of their mini make out session.

"Wow," Namjoon says when he and Jimin finally pull away for air.

"Hot," Jimin says causing Namjoon to smirk.

"You're pretty hot yourself," Namjoon tells him and Jimin rolls his eyes and smacks him lightly on his (oh so broad) chest.

After they catch their breath, they spend the rest of the night dancing to any and every song that comes on (if you can call excessive grinding and making out dancing) until Jimin finally decides that they should leave. Jimin pulls him out of the club and breathes in the fresh air when they finally walk through the doors.

"Would've stayed longer but I'm starving," Jimin says grasping Namjoon's hand. The only reason he's holding Namjoon's hand at all is to make sure he doesn't lose him in the crowd. It really is. Really!

"You weren't kidding when you said you were a good dancer," Namjoon says rubbing his thumb against Jimin's knuckles softly. "You had to have gone to school for that," Namjoon says as they stop at a street vendor.

"I did actually, years ago, but that's a boring story. You never told me what you do yesterday." Jimin says changing the subject. He's never really liked to talk about why his dancing career failed so he chooses not to talk about dancing at all.

"As lame as it is, I'm an accountant," Namjoon says rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. Of course, Jimin already knew this but he still wanted to hear Namjoon say it so he didn't seem like a creep.

“What could make someone choose that career path?” Jimin asks genuinely curious.

“My mom actually told me I should do something with handling money. She said I was really good at handling it and that I would be good at it. Sure it's not the highest paying job out there and it gets stressful dealing with big companies but it's something I'm good at.” Namjoon says around a dumpling with a nod. Jimin takes a thoughtful bite of his tteokbokki before rounding on Namjoon and stopping him in his tracks.

“Is that what you wanted to do though or is it just something you were good at?” Jimin asks and Namjoon chuckles softly.

"You're good at reading people you know?" Jimin hums in agreement and urges Namjoon to answer his question. "You're right, though, it wasn't something I wanted to do. I wanted to be a producer for a music company." Namjoon says looking up at the stars.

“What stopped you?” Jimin asks and Namjoon chuckles a little humorlessly.

"Reality. It was so hard to get my foot in the door that I just stopped trying." Namjoon says with a shrug. Jimin squeezes his hand a little and Namjoon chuckles. "But, I'm content where I am. It's a little boring but it pays well enough. What do you do?" Namjoon asks and Jimin nearly panics.

"Just little odd jobs here and there. Nothing career worthy or very interesting." Jimin covers looking away trying to be as nonchalant as he can. Namjoon leads them back to the car in comfortable silence and he smiles at Jimin.

“Can I take you somewhere?” Namjoon asks and Jimin looks at him wearily.

"As long as it isn't to your basement to dismember me, sure," Jimin says with a shrug and Namjoon rolls his eyes. The place that he takes them is actually a less populated spot in Hongdae with nearly no cars or any of the bright lights surrounding them.

"Come on," Namjoon says with a smile as he walks to the trunk of his car and pulls out a blanket. Namjoon finds a nice grassy area for them to lay on and lays the blanket down before plopping onto it and pulling Jimin down with him. Jimin falls in his lap and they fall on the blanket in a heap of limbs and Jimin hates how his life seems like a drama right now. He does! "I love coming up here sometimes to just clear my head and look at the stars." Jimin lays back beside Namjoon and gazes up at the stars a little awed.

"It's beautiful," Jimin says turning to look at Namjoon who's already looking at him. Jimin ignores his blushing cheeks and meets Namjoon's stare head on. "What?" Jimin asks grasping at Namjoon's hand.

"Nothing, you just look really beautiful is all," Namjoon says pulling Jimin closer to him. Jimin's breath hitches at the look of adoration in Namjoon's eyes just before Namjoon leans down and pulls him into a kiss. Before Jimin can register what's happening, Namjoon is over him and stroking down his sides as he deepens the kiss. Jimin moans at the feeling of Namjoon caressing him so sensually and whines when Namjoon pulls away.

"Let's get out of here," Namjoon suggests and Jimin doesn't think he's ever moved so fast in his life.

The next morning when he wakes up wrapped in Namjoon's strong arms and sated it takes him a moment to realize what he's done. When he does he has a mini panic attack and he may curse under his breath a couple hundred times or so. His panic attack must have woken Namjoon up because he feels the taller press a kiss to his neck and he shivers at the feeling. How does Namjoon even know his spot?

“Morning.” Namjoon's morning voice sounds like sex and drips down Jimin's spine like honey and Jimin finds himself relaxing in his touch.

"Good morning," Jimin says smiling a little at Namjoon's half closed eyes.

"Last night was amazing," Namjoon says and Jimin hates to say that yeah, it really was.

“It was, wasn't it?” Jimin asks leaning over to kiss Namjoon slowly.

“I don't know about you but I'm starving. Let's order out.” Namjoon says already grabbing at his phone.

"We are not ordering out, I can cook, I'll make us something to eat," Jimin says grabbing Namjoon's phone and putting it back down on his bedside table.

"So bossy," Namjoon says with a chuckle.

"You bet your sweet ass I am," Jimin says standing up and pulling Namjoon out of the bed. Jimin orders Namjoon around in the kitchen wearing nothing but Namjoon's too long t-shirt and he startles when Namjoon's front door opens.

“Honey, I'm home!” The newcomer shouts through the house and Jimin freezes when the man turns to look at him. “Who are you?” The man asks and Jimin scoffs.

"Who are you?!" Jimin asks already boiling with anger because 'Honey'? Seriously?

"Hoseok, you have to stop doing that. I know I gave you a key but that doesn't mean you can abuse that privilege, you know?" Namjoon says as he walks out of the bathroom. Jimin turns with a glare and a raised eyebrow as if expecting an explanation.

"I'm not his boyfriend, but apparently, you're something to him," Hoseok explains in his stead giving Jimin's marked up neck and bare legs a once-over. "Wait, is this the Jimin guy you told me about the other day?” Hoseok asks walking around the counter to clap Namjoon on the back.

"Yes and stop staring, you're creeping him out," Namjoon says pushing Hoseok away from them. "So, why are you here?" Namjoon asks to which Hoseok sighs bordering on sadly.

"Because Taehyung and Seokjin are fucking again and I don't have the balls to tell them that I want to join them," Hoseok explains and Namjoon scoffs.

“I don't see why not, Taehyung and Seokjin are both pretty kinky, I'm sure they'd let you join.” Jimin is brought back to reality when he hears Taehyung's name and he looks at Hoseok quizzically.

“You know Taehyung and Seokjin?” Jimin asks him to which he nods.

“Yeah, Seokjin is my roommate. You know them?” Hoseok asks and Jimin nods.

“Taehyung is my roommate.” Jimin says and Hoseok nods.

“Small world.” He says before going to lay on Namjoon's couch. Not small enough Jimin thinks as he flips the pancakes in his skillet.

When Jimin finally does look at his phone, he's at his front door with kiss swollen lips watching Namjoon walk away and he sees that he has a myriad of text messages from Taehyung, Yoongi, Jeongguk, and Seokjin. He's so busy reading over the messages when he opens the door that he almost doesn't duck away from the throwing star fast enough and he grunts when it nicks his shoulder. He looks up to be met with three men all wearing black and he dives over towards his bookshelf as the men start throwing everything they have at him. He very narrowly dodges out of the way of a dagger and he sighs as he watches his phone crash to the floor and crack. He grabs his favorite gun as he takes cover behind his chair and he leans up to start shooting at the men in the room.

"Hey, Jimin you forgot –, " Namjoon says as he walks into the door and Jimin's eyes widen as one of the men directs his attention at Namjoon and starts shooting.

"Get down!" Jimin says reaching over to pull Namjoon down towards him and he leans up to shoot the guy square in the head. The other two double their efforts to injure them and Jimin shoots until he's out of bullets. He grabs his throwing stars and throws one right at the second guys neck effectively knocking him down and he mourns the loss of their brand new carpet and when he hears the third guys gun click he stands and takes one of the knives out of the wall. He kicks the guy in his leg bringing him to his knees before straddling him with the knife pressed to his throat. "Who do you work for?" Jimin demands but the guy sends him a bloody smile at him and spits in his face. Jimin grimaces and elbows the guy in the face effectively knocking him out. He grabs a pair of handcuffs and handcuffs the man to a table before rushing over to check on Namjoon. Namjoon looks at him with wide terrified eyes but Jimin throws the knife down and walks up to him slowly with his hands in the air. “I'm not going to hurt you, I promise, but I have to make sure you aren't hurt. Can I do that?” Jimin asks carefully and Namjoon nods apprehensively.

“Ok.” Namjoon gives him his consent and Jimin is immediately on him checking for any bruises or wounds he may have. He sighs thankfully when Namjoon isn't hurt and he puts his head down.

“You probably don't want to hear an explanation, do you?” Jimin asks backing slowly away from Namjoon.

“Actually, I think I'm owed an explanation, don't you?” Namjoon says sounding a lot more calm than he seems.

Jimin calls in a clean-up team after he leads Namjoon to his bedroom and shuts the door with a promise to be back.

“What do you mean they attacked you?” Yoongi asks on the other line.

“Exactly what I said hyung. Just send a clean up crew with a couple tranqs. There's one that's still alive so I figured you guys could interrogate him and get some information but he's going to fight back.” Jimin tells him before hanging up. He walks back into his room to see Namjoon pacing back and forth across the room and he approaches him cautiously. “You ok?” He asks though he instantly regrets it when Namjoon looks at him with wide unbelieving eyes.

"Am I ok? You just killed three men right in front of me and you ask if I'm ok?!" Namjoon asks incredulously.

"It was only two," Jimin says in a small voice and Namjoon scoffs.

“Only huh? Only?! What were those guys doing here anyway? And why are you so good with guns and knives and throwing stars? What is going on?!” Namjoon asks sitting down on his bed with his head in his hands.

"Well, to answer your questions, I think those guys were here to kill me, I'm good with weapons because being a secret agent kind of forces you to train with them, and what's going on is you walked into something you should never have seen," Jimin says patting Namjoon's shoulder lightly.

“Secret agent? I thought you said you did odd jobs here and there? Last I checked, 'secret agent' isn't really doing odd jobs, is it?” Namjoon asks still looking shocked.

"Technically, though, I didn't really lie to you about that because I really do have odd jobs here and there, they just pertain to me being a secret agent," Jimin says but Namjoon's glare keeps him from continuing.

"Is your name even Park Jimin or did you lie about that, too?" Namjoon's words are like a slap in the face and Jimin looks at him trying to hide the hurt.

“No, I didn't lie to you about that. The only thing I lied to you about was my job and you don't have to believe that, but it's true.” Jimin says looking away from the older man.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that," Namjoon says with a sigh scooting closer to Jimin to pull him into his arms. "I just don't know what to feel right now," Namjoon says leaning his head on Jimin's shoulder.

"I can understand that," Jimin says biting his lip. "Is this the last time I'm going to see you?" Jimin can't help but ask but before Namjoon can answer, Yoongi bursts through his door to see the two cuddled up together. Jimin expects him to scream or curse of maybe even throw a punch or two. What he doesn't expect, however, is for Yoongi to smile.

“Yoongi? What are you doing here?” Namjoon asks quizzically.

“You know him?” Jimin asks and Namjoon nods.

“We were roommates in college. How do you know him?” Namjoon asks and Jimin glares up at Yoongi as the pieces finally fall into place.

“This was never a real mission was it?” Jimin demands.

“Not particularly, no. I tried to get you two to meet under different circumstances, but you'd never meet up with him so I figured I'd give you a fake assignment and see how it all worked out from there.” Yoongi says with a shrug and Namjoon looks back and forth between the two confused.

“Yoongi, what if I would have actually killed him?! Did you ever think about that?” Jimin asks absolutely fuming at his boss.

"But you didn't so does it really matter?" Yoongi asks looking bored.

“Yes!” Namjoon and Jimin exclaim and Yoongi rolls his eyes.

“Whatever, get over your little couples spat and I'm going to take this guy down to the office to get him to talk. See you at work tomorrow.” Yoongi says giving the two a mock salute and walking out of the room. Jimin and Namjoon look at each other for a second before dissolving in a fit of laughter. When they finally calm down enough to talk, Jimin grasps Namjoon's hand in his own.

"If it makes you feel any better I was seriously having trouble deciding if I should kill you or not," Jimin says trying to lighten the mood a little with a soft smile. Namjoon shakes his head and laughs a little.

"Surprisingly enough, it does make me feel better," Namjoon says leaning in to kiss Jimin.

“Park Jimin, this was a new fucking rug dammit!” Jimin hears Taehyung scream from the living room but he ignores him in favor of kissing Namjoon some more.
