    His sudden roughness was a welcome surprise, as it felt like years had passed since I woke up with him in my room. I felt like this was all a dream.

    That I would wake up the next morning and go into work with my coworker, clueless about anything I claimed happened.

    I wondered if that would be the better reality in the end. This all was some desperate fantasy I came up with on a lonely, restless night.
