Scott is over Scar’s house, decorating some Christmas cookies to give out to their friends for the holidays.
Scott stands across from Scar
The elf holds a piping bag of frosting in his hand, carefully decorating a snowflake shaped cookie with blue frosting.
When the frosting is all on, he grabs some small white, round, hard, sprinkles, pushing them into the frosting on the points and in the middle, before dusting the rest of the cookie with white sugar sprinkles.
He looks down at his cookies, smiling at his hard work.
The elf carefully picks up the cookie, putting it onto a drying rack before grabbing another, this one a snowman.
“Scott?”
“Hmm?” Scott hums, turning to look at his boyfriend.
“I made this one for you.” Scar says, smiling at the cyanet.
The half-elf ven hybrid picks up a cookie from the counter and shows it to Scott.
It’s a heart shaped cookie with red frosting spread across it, and in white frosting, “I Luve You.”
“Oh Scar.” Scott says, smiling down at the cookie, "It's misspelling making it just a little more Scar and a little more special, “I love it.” he says, “Can I eat it, or do you want me to wait?”
“You can eat it now if you want.” Scar says, smiling, his vex tail flicking behind himself.
Scott carefully takes the heart cookie into his own hand before bringing it up to his mouth, taking a bite.
It tastes amazing.
The flavors of vanilla, sugar, and butter make it taste just right.
Scott knows Scar puts magic into his cookies, making them taste a little better, and stay fresh longer, but they are also good, even when he does not enchant the dough.
“Mmmmnn.” Scott hums, closing his eyes, enjoying the flavors on his tongue.
When he’s done with that bite, he opens his eyes again, saying, “Scar, this is really good.”
The half-elf’s cheeks turn pink, his emerald green eyes darting away from Scott’s cold blue, winter elf eyes, “Thank you.”
Scott finishes the cookie, swallowing before leaning into Scar, pressing a quick kiss to his pink cheek, “I love it, and I love you.”
“I-I…I love you too.” Scar says, smiling at Scott, cupping his cheek before kissing him softly.
