Work Text:
Tango and Jimmy have just come inside after doing all the animal chores for the day in the biting cold of the december day.
When they got in, Tango easily warmed back up, having been in a jacket that helped trap his high, blaze hybrid body heat.
Jimmy is currently shivering as he strips off his winter jacket, pulling a hoodie on before moving towards the fire to warm up.
Tango runs after him, chasing his avian husband.
Jimmy stands by the fire, warming his hands up, eyes closed.
Tango takes Jimmy’s hands between his own, warming them up.
“Tango.” Jimmy mumbles, his eyes fluttering open, “You're so warm.”
Tango smiles, “Want me to help warm you up?”
“Mmhmmn.” Jimmy hums.
The avian picks his partner up with ease, carrying him over to one of the chairs by the fireplace.
Jimmy sits back in the chair, Tango held in his lap, closing his eyes, soaking up the warmth radiating off the blaze hybrid.
Tango starts to purr softly, enjoying his cuddling time with his husbands.
Jimmy smiles, eyes still closed, leaning his head back.
Tango presses warm kisses to Jimmy’s neck where his hoodie does not cover.
The blaze hybrid slowly kisses Jimmy’s neck, moving gently to his jaw bone.
Tango softly nibbles on the skin over Jimmy’s jaw bone before pressing a warm kiss there.
After a bit, his lips move to Jimmy’s gently pressing them together in a slow warm kiss.
“I love you.” Tango softly mumbles against Jimmy’s lips, eyes closed, purring deep in his chest, acting as a personal heater, warming his husband up.
“I love you, too.” Jimmy mutters back, hands holding his husbands, not ever wanting to let him go.
