Chapter Text
Khybre was walking around another planet, his face and body covered with a scarf and robe to hide his identity. He was walking around with his trusty Anubian Baskurr. He was looking for a new weapon to take down Ben 10 with. After all, only the best can take down his best prey. He was still thinking about the fight he watched with Ben, fighting Doctor Animo. He carefully replayed everything that Ben 10 did, studying his moments as if he were still in that moment. He also paid attention to Ben's partner; he was a factor that had to be taken care of, but that'll be another problem for another day. He'll think of a way to get them separated, but not today; he still has a lot of studying to do to make the perfect plan.
The hunter came to a stop to look at the weapons till he heard screaming and crying. He slowly turned around to see what or who it was. He was quite shocked. What he was looking at was a girl with long pink skin-like hair at the top of her head. There were three blades looking stuck out, and the end of her hair that looked like a bob started to curl with three long, thick strands shaped like tentacles. Her tail looked like a weird fifth hand, almost claw-like, with black markings that ran down her tail, and towards the end of it, it shaped into a star. The girl's skin was a light purple gray like color, with horns poking slightly to the side. The girl quickly went down to pick up her robe with her upper pair of arms as she hugged herself with her lower arms. He crossed his arms as he studied the whole situation. The girl seemed to be trying to tell the others something, but no one was listening to her. He started to wonder if she was trying to hide herself; he wouldn't blame her, not with how she looked. He had never seen anything like her. She looked as if she were mixed with multiple other aliens. It wasn't how she looked that made her look off, but the extra limbs she had looked like they didn't belong to her, and instead to other species of aliens.
The odd-looking girl was going to be pushed by an older girl, but the weird-looking girl moved out of the way and caught the girl with surprising speed. The hunter thought she was going to beat the other girl, but to his surprise, she didnt she just tried to talk to the other girl, but was only pushed away and kicked by the girl who held her. The weird girl let the other girl go, the girl that was let go glared at her releaser. The hunter moved his eyes to look around to see what was going to happen, but it seemed everyone decided to ignore it, not a single stray gaze towards the pair. The girl who looked like every other alien ran away while the odd girl stared in the direction of the girl. The girl seemed hurt, like she was betrayed by a lifelong friend. She looked as if she was about to cry, as if she lost everything she ever had.
She was odd-looking, but she seemed to have some type of potential. He started to come up with a plan. He could use a spy to keep an eye on Tennyson without being caught, but how would he get her on his side after all? Who would dare go against Ben 10, a hero who's saved the world many times? He might have to look for another to be his spy, or he might not even go with that plan and go another route. He turned his back towards her to go back to looking at weapons. As he was leaving, he heard some of the local aliens start whispering. “What a poor girl..” “I know she's a monster, poor thing, she can't even stay friends with her… It's too much for a child to be friends with a girl like her. It was for the best.” The alien woman nodded her head as she crossed her arms. “Indeed, it is sad… though even her own mother left her….. It's such a shame, essentially, when it's the mother's fault for how she ended up looking.” The other lady leaned closer and whispered to the lady beside her, “I bet her mother was a lady of the night, and that's why she looks the way she does. The mother must have been punished for doing such things.” The two ladies nodded as they continued to gossip about their neighbors and other things.
The hunter was listening intently, taking all the information in. “Well, that was helpful,” He whispered to himself. He then looked down at his trusty companion. “Well, tell me, old friend, should we use her for our plan?” He asks his buddy as he pats her head, letting out a chuckle. As they walked down the aisle to look for some weapons. “Old pal, how about you go and keep an eye on her for me and see if she's worth being trained…. I'll be there soon,” The Anubian Baskurr sniffed the air to look for the girl. After a while of running, the alien-looking dog came to a slow stop, looking at the weeping girl who was sitting by a corrosive river. Her tail wrapped around herself, hugging herself tightly. Her tears were as black as tar and just as sticky as it. The Anubian Baskurr moved closer towards her slowly so as not to startle her. The girl's ear twitched, and she quickly turned around, almost falling into the skin-eating river.
She looked at the alien before her with confusion, but after a while of it not attacking her, she let out a soft chuckle. Giving a small smile. “You don't seem scared of me…. that's nice…..” She held out her hand for the alien to come closer, and it did just that. It walked up to her, nuzzling its head into the girl's hand. “You’re such a good girl….You know, not even the animals from here like to come around me…. they are even scared to come around me….” she told the hunter alien in a hushed tone as tar tears fell down her cheeks. The dog moved closer towards her, nuzzling her cheek. The tears started to stick to the Anubian Bukurr's face as she nuzzled the girl's face. The Anubian Bukurr moved away and started to walk away from the girl. This caused her to quickly stand up and follow the Anubian Bukurr. The dog-like alien started to pick up her pace, and the girl followed after her. The girl was keeping up with the dog's speed with ease. The dog started jumping over holes and dead trees, and other objects that blocked the way. The girl was right on the aliens' heels.
After a while of running, the girl showed no signs of getting tired, and in fact, she was running and laughing. The girl was having the most fun she's ever had. She's never had a friend who wasn't ashamed of being around her in public, others were always friends with her out of pity, never because they actually wanted to or thought she was cool. She didn't mind, she was grateful they even talked to her. She just wanted more. She wanted to be around them while they were with their other friends. She wanted to have fun with them. She wanted to show others how fun she was, how she could do many things like their homework or other things….all so they could be friends….. it never lasted long though. The girl kept her eyes on the creature running with her with a huge smile as tears ran down her face. The girl looked up to see a cliff coming up. She then looked at her running buddy, expecting her to slow down, but instead the Anubian Bukurr picked up her speed. The girl did so as well.
They were getting closer to the edge, but not one of them was showing any signs of slowing down. The Anubian Bukurr then jumped. The Anubian Bukurr looked back for a moment to see if the girl was following or not, and to the alien dog's surprise, the girl jumped with her. As well, the Anubian Bukurr landed on the ground with ease. The girl started to roll to soften the impact. After she came to a stop, the girl let out a laugh. The dog-like creature tilted her head as she looked at the girl. The girl shot up and moved to hug the dog, back on her knees. “THAT WAS SO FUN!!!” The girl yelled out in a giddy manner. “.......the people here are nice to me but…..it gets lonely when they don't try to talk to you,.....ya know?” she asked the dog as she gave her an awkward smile. The girl let go of the Anubian Bukurr when she heard a growl come from behind her. A big beetle-like creature with sharp teeth came out of the trees. The girl looked at the creature, getting into a stance ready to take off at any moment.
The creature started to rush at the two, the dog was about to rush at the beetle creator till she felt two pairs arms wrapped around her stomach the girl pulled them both back, starting to run towards the cliff again she tried to pick up as much speed as possible but with such a short distance and the added weight she wasn't going to make it. She kept running, though, and jumped. Before she started to fall, she threw the dog, which went rolling. The girl closed her eyes, expecting this to be her end. She was fine with her end, at least she made one friend and saved he,r but to her surprise, a hand grabbed her arm. Her eyes snapped open wide with surprise. Who could even help her? She came face to face with a light green face with sharp teeth, red eyes, and holes at his jaws. He pulled her back to land and dropped her. He waited for a scream or for her to run away. But to his surprise, the girl stood up and hugged him.
He looked down at her with a nonexistent brow raised. “Do you know who I am?” he asked the girl with a neutral tone. The girl shook her head as she slowly let go of him. “..... I'm sorry…..I was just so excited ….. To have someone actually save me…. Or even look at me,” She told him with a huge smile as she bounced up and down. He looked down at her with a frown, not at all amused by her, but she seemed to have potential. She seems to want to appeal to whoever gives her a chance. A thought came to his mind. “Do you have a family? Where's your mother or father so I can take you back?” He asked her in a neutral tone, not even trying to put on an act, to see what she'd do, just how desperate was this kid? She looked at him with wide eyes, her pupils now shaped into slits. That seemed to hurt her, and she turned her gaze downward. “I don't have a family…” She said in a hushed tone as she rubbed her right arm, her bottom pair hugging herself.
A smile spread across his jaw as he looked down at her, but before he decides to train her, he has to make sure to see what she can do and how she fights at the moment. “You know I have room for someone…” She looked at him with wide eyes as a smile showed on her face, looking at him with hope. “But I have a dangerous job, so I'll need to know if you can fight.” He put a hand on her shoulder, not really trying to come up with a better lie, but then again, he wasnt telling a lie, what he does is dangerous and could get him killed or jail time. Her eyes seemed to sparkle as her markings started to change from black to a soft pink, and stars seemed to appear around her. That shocked him, but he decided not to show his shock, he instead smiled at her. “All you have to do is fight my companion…” He moved her to look at the Anubian Bukurr. She gave him a worried look. “What if I hurt her?” She asked in a high-pitched voice. He looked at her with a stern expression, “then im so-” He was interrupted by the girl, “NO I'LL DO IT!!” She yelled out, looking at him with a worried expression. “I can do it,” She moved her hand to grip him desperately, her hands shaking. She looked up at him, waiting for him to answer her, her pupils were now slits.
He nodded his head and moved out of the way. He went to the side as his Anubian Bukurr started to circle the girl. She got in a fighting stance, but it looked more for defence. It was full of weak points that any enemy could use to their advantage. He crossed his arms as he watched from afar. He let out a whistle, and his Anubian Bukurr attacked. The huntsmen thought he would have to do more or even put on a better act, but when she hugged him, he knew he didn't have to do a thing. She seems desperate for any type of bond. He wondered if he could use her insecurity more and have her actually carry out his plan. A smile appeared on his face as he started to think about how useful it would be to have a spy.
He watched as the girl kept dodging his old friend, so he decided to up the stakes. He let out a whistle, and the Anubian Bukurr transformed into a Terroranchula. The girl's eyes went wide, but she quickly adapted. To his surprise, she was still able to dodge but was now having some issues. But she was doing well if only she were more on the attack and not on the defensive side, but that can be fixed with some time. But if she takes too long, he'll just leave her. If not, he has big plans for her. He started to wonder if she was book smart or street smart, which of the two was she better at. After all, he'll need her in the plumber academy to be his spy. So many variables and all of them would take time to find out, he’ll just have to take a chance on her if his backup plan is to work.
He started to pay attention to the fight again, and the girl now seemed to slow down. But she was doing well against his Anubian Bukurr. He was about to let out a whistle to change his dog, but before he did, his dog, now a spider-like creature, hit the girl with one of her limbs, the spider's claw making a long slice across the girl's chest. It wasn't deep, but it must have stung. He looked down at the girl who lay on the floor, she didn't pass what a shame. He walked towards her. The girl was lying on her side. She seemed to be unconscious, so he flipped her on her back with one of his feet. Seeing the damage of the cut, but to his surprise, the girl's blood was a disgusting mix of black and purple with hits of blue that almost matched the purple. But that wasn't the only shocking thing, her wound was already healing. Some aliens did have healing factors, but not this fast, her wound was almost done. It only took around a minute for her wound to fully heal.
He crossed his arms as he looked down at the girl, contemplating whether he should take her in and train her. His old companion went to his side laying down to rest for a moment. Still in her spider form, after a moment of thinking about it, he decided he'd just have to take a risk and knelt to pick the kid up. He threw her over his shoulder, when he had her on his shoulder. He pulled up his hoodie and scarf to hide himself. He started to walk back to his ship. He may not find a new weapon, but why buy one when you can make one? He hoped this girl wasn't a waste of his time for her sake because he would not have a liability around him. His loyal companion was closely behind him, making sure no one was trailing them.
At plumbers head quarters
Ben was sitting in his chair, thinking about the fight with Dr. Animo. How does that alien dog change forms just like him? He grabbed his smoothie to take a sip. Rook walked with a bag of chile cheese fries, which was obvious because of the smell. He looked up and gave Rook a wide smile. “Thanks, man.” He took the fries and started to eat them. Rook let out a sigh as he shook his head and crossed his arms. “Ben, I don't know why you like such an unhealthy snack.” Ben gave him a did you really just say that look. “It's one of the best things in this universe," He said matter-of-factly as he grabbed a napkin and cleaned his hands off. Ben stood up from his chair as he put his remaining fries on the huge computer that stood in the middle of the giant office. “So what's the plan for today?” Ben asked Rook. Ben started to stretch his arms and back, waiting for the Revonnahgander to tell him. “I was thinking we should train a bit,” Rook answered Bens as he looked down at the human boy.
“Ok, dude, but be prepared to lose,” Ben said in a chuckle as he looked up at Rook. “Without the omnitrix” Rook finished his sentence as he crossed his arm, giving the boy a serious look. “What, why not?” Ben asked Rook as he frowned at the other boy. “It's because I noticed how you lack fighting skills in your human form. It'd be better if you train a little more in your HUMAN form.” Rook told Ben in a matter-of-fact tone, still giving him a serious look. “Oh, please, and why would I need to do such a thing? When I have this ace,” he asked him as he crossed his arms, a grin on the human boy's face. “That's because you can't always depend on your weapons,” Rook shared with the boy in front of him. Ben was about to open his mouth to say something to Rook, but was interrupted by his grandpa, Max. Magister Max walked towards the two with a smile. “Hello, boys,” Ben smiled at his grandpa until he noticed two containers with food in them. It looked like some alien dish. Ben looked at the containers with worry, unlike Rook, who looked happy to see the food. “Hello magister Tennyson,” He smiled at Mr Tennyson. “Hey, grandpa,” Ben said with a small smile as he looked at the food with worry. “What brings you here, magister Tennyson?”
Max gave the two boys a chuckle as he looked at the containers of food. “I had some leftovers, so I thought, why not give you two some?” Rook sported a wide smile as he reached out to take the two things of food. While Ben glared at the food but turned his gaze to his grandpa. “Is that all?” Ben asked his grandpa, hoping there was more than just getting alien food. Mr Tennyson put a hand to his chin in a thinking manner as he looked at the boys. “Ya, that's it, unless you want to go on patrol.” Mr Tennyson let out a laugh as he left the two boys. Ben let out a groan as he dragged his hands down his face. He waited till he couldn't see his grandpa to tell Rook, “You can have mine as well, I don't want it.” Ben put his hands into his pockets as he walked to Rook's truck. Rook smiled at Ben as he followed. “Thanks, dude.” Ben looked at him, "You're getting better.” This caused Rook's smile to widen, proud of himself that the hero he looked up to noticed his attempt at getting better at using Earth slang. He opened his car door and got into his seat. The two drove out of the academy to go on patrol.
In the Huntsmen's ship
Khyber was sitting down on his chair in his ship as she sharpened his favorite knife. Zed sat at his feet, resting from her actions from before, tired but wanting to stay by her owner. After Khyber was finally satisfied with his work, he put his knife back into its cover. The girl has been sleeping for a few hours now. He was starting to wonder if the girl was dead. If she were, it would be a pain, but he'd just throw her body somewhere it wasn't as if anyone would mourn her, so that makes it easy. He keeps thinking about what to do if she's dead or how to train her if she wakes up. He has to convince her to fight alongside him against Ben 10. That just might be hard after all, she just might look up to the boy and see him as a hero. This will be a pain. He let out a sigh as he rubbed between his sockets. Zed noticed her master's distress and started to rub her head against his leg.
Khyber gave his loyal companion a small smile as he patted Zed's head. Khyber was about to say something till he heard a loud bang as if someone had fallen to the ground. He had a good idea of who that might be, so he slowly stood up, his loyal Anubian Baskurr following his lead. But he didn't get too far when he saw someone running into the room. She immediately noticed him. Her frown was now a huge smile as she looked at him. He was about to open his mouth to say something when she ran to him. He was about to grab his knife, waiting for her to try something. But she never did; she simply hugged him. He looked down at the girl, no longer surprised at her odd actions; she seemed to desperately want approval from someone. “Well, you seem well….” He says in a calm tone. The girl let out a giggle, “Am I worthy enough to stay with you?” She asked him in a loud voice. She looked up at him with huge pupils eyes filled with hope. He'd say she was desperate for him to say yes. He smiled at her as he put a hand on her shoulder. “You have great potential..” He tells her in a neutral tone, still sporting a small smile. Her pupils were now almost covering her whole eye as she smiled at him, showing off her sharp teeth.
He gently separated her from him as Zed came to stand in front of him. “You are, but you need many improvements-” He was going to finish his sentence and say they could start tomorrow, but she yelled out, “I CAN START TO IMPROVE NOW ANYTHING YOU WANT ME TO CHANGE I WILL!!” She yelled out desperately, her hand came up to grab his arm, almost as if she's scared he'd leave her. Zed let out a growl, which stopped the girl from touching his arm. Khyber pat Zed's head to calm her down, and he then smiled at the girl. “Well then, we can start in an hour with hand-to-hand combat, but first we'll go hunting for your food.” The girl gave him a huge smile. Khyber started to walk towards his weapons on his table. He grabbed a knife he hadn't used in a long time and unsheathed it to look at its condition. It was fine, not the best, but fine. He'll just teach her how to take care of weapons next.
He walked towards her she held out her hand towards him. He dropped the knife into her hand and started to walk to the exit of his ship. He noticed her markings now glowing brightly. She moved quickly to keep up with him; she seemed to be studying everything about him, his face, his movement, and his breathing. This girl just might be a good lackey, she seems to already know how to pay attention to the small details. Too bad he doesn't know any shift shapers to put her to the test. Well, that'll be for another time today he'll be teaching her how to hunt. Before they got too far into the forest, he asked her, “What is your name?” This question seemed to make the girls' smiles widen if that was even possible. “My name is Stella," She answered him in a hushed manner. Another good thing, she knew to be quiet on hunts, she was notably quieter now; she just might be a fast learner after all. He waited a moment to see if she'd ask his name, but after a while he decided to ask, "Aren't you going to ask for mine?” He asked in a neutral tone, not giving away too much emotion. She shook her head, “If you don't wish me to know your name, then I won't ask.” She again speaks in a quiet voice as they walk into the forest. Even though she said that she seemed sad that he hadn't given her their names, he came up with a game he knew she wouldn't win. “If you catch 20 creatures, I'll tell you both our names, but you'll have to do it without my help, I’ll simply be watching." He didn't even have to wait a second for her to answer, she quickly nodded her head and rushed off. That could either be the biggest mistake or a good start he’ll just have to see from afar.
He and Zed follow her at a distance to make sure they both don't scare off her prey, but at a good enough distance to watch. She was hiding behind a huge rock, He was up in a tree, while Zed waited down keeping watch. The animal was a huge bat-like creature walking around in the moonlight, listening to everything. This would be hard prey to kill. He highly douts shell get 20 before the sun comes up. He moved his gaze back to Stella, who didn't even try to take her weapon out. He shook his head, a major mistake. The monster has great hearing, so if it truly wanted to, it could fly up and get her, she'd be done. These creatures are powerful and fast, or faster than the average alien. She looked around but tried not to move. She slowly picked up a rock. He paid close attention to her, but that wasn't the only thing that caught his attention. He noticed her marking was faintly glowing.
He decided to keep that in the back of his mind for later training, he’ll just have to find the cause for her glowing and have her control it. She then throws the rock to the side, and the bat-like creature rushes at the sound to attack it. The girl uses her two sets of arms to quickly climb the rock. When she reached the top, she jumped off the rock and onto the bat-like creature. The bat alien started to thrash around, letting out shrieks that only Zed could hear. Zhyber looked down at his loyal friend, knowing her ears were hurting, but she stood still, not moving a single inch. He'll make sure to reward her for that. He turned his gaze back to the girl. She used her tail, which was another hand, to keep the beast's mouth shut. She then used her lower set of arms to strangle it while her upper ones ripped its throat open.
Zhyber was starting to like how brutal this girl was. It was indeed time-consuming and a mess to clean, but she's in the right direction. After a few minutes, the beast falls face-first to the ground as its blood spills to the ground, staining the plants on this planet. Stella jumps off and quickly finds him. She smiled at him, hoping he approved of her actions. He gave her a nod, her markings again started to glow, this time bright enough to light up 3 feet from her. He gave her a frown, and her glowing markings immediately turned off. She looked at him with worry, about to say something, when Zhyber brought up his hand and wrist to tap on it. Her pupils immediately shrank, and she was off, not waiting for him to say anything else. He and Zed went to follow her. This time, she decided to stick with smaller prey, a smart choice. There was a herd of deer-like creatures all having seven pairs of legs and two sets of see-through horns. All having a white coat snots long to reach the fruit of the tree. Some started to branch off. That's when she started to creep towards the ones a good distance away from the herd.
She moved swiftly and quietly and made sure not to make too much noise as she moved. It took her longer, not including how long it took to have the deer turn its back on her. But when she saw an opening, she took it. She lunged at the creature, knocking it to the ground. She put it on its back using one set of arms to keep its mouth shut; she then used her tail arm to rip its chest open after a moment of thrashing around it took its last breath. That was a risky move, they both knew that, but that didn't stop the girl from continuing. This time, she started to become impatient and lunged at the deer like an alien while it was a few feet away from the herd. She held it down while biting into the neck of the alien creature, her sharp teeth ripping a huge chunk of skin out of it. The creature started to kick, alerting the others. They all started to run away. The deer started thrashing around, causing the girl to let go with a chunk of its meat in her mouth.
The deer ran over her to get away. The girl's body was now covered in red marks; her eye seemed to have been kicked as well. This didn't stop her, however, to Khyber's surprises the girl shot right back up and started to run after her prey. She used her tail to grasp its hind legs. It tried to kick, but she quickly evaded its attacks. She jumped onto its back and latched onto it. Her arms at its neck. Her claws started to grow to sharpen she then sank her claws into its neck and tore it open. Blood started to spill from it. She held it for a moment till the creature fell to the ground. She let go of its legs as she stood up. She was breathing heavily, sweat dripping down. She finally spat out the chunk of meat in her mouth. She slowly turned her head to look at Khyber with a worried expression. He jumped down and walked towards her, Zed following close by. “That was very sloppy and caused more trouble than was needed,” He told her in a stern voice. His hands were behind his back. She looked like she wanted to cry, but she held back her tears.
She kept her gaze down, not saying a word, far too scared to speak because she knew she'd sound pathetic. “You’ll need a lot of improvement, but it'll do,” He decided to use this perfect opportunity to show how “caring” he was. Stella finally moved her gaze up to his face, looking him straight in the eyes, her once wide pupils now shaped into slits. “You did well for a kid that doesn't have practice with hunting,” He put a hand on her head. This caused the girl's expression to change dramatically, her frown now a shaky smile, her eyes half open. She threw herself at him, hugging him tightly with both sets of arms. Hiding her face into his waist as black tar tears fell down her cheeks. He looked down at her as a smile crept onto his jaw. This girl just might be perfect for his plan.
She has some experience in fighting and tries to appease him in any way. It was almost too good to be true. He'll just have to keep an eye on her, just in case it was. He kept one arm on her shoulder. He then took his arm off of her, a frown coming onto her lips. But she quickly followed him just as Zed did. Khyber bent down and picked up the lifeless creature's body. Stella quickly went over to grab the other one. She looked at him with big eyes, hoping to have fixed the mistake she had made. Her tar like tears were still sticking to her cheeks. They then went to her first prey. He took that as well, even though Stella insisted she could take it. All three of them walked back to Khyber's ship when they got there, and he put the animals down in the skinning room he'd take care of later. “Am I able to complete my task….later?” Stella asked in a hushed voice as she looked up at him with dread and pitiful eyes.
“No, you won't finish the task I gave you. You did enough to show me what you are capable of,” he told her in a serious tone as he crossed his arms, looking down at her. Her tail fell to the ground, and her ears as well. Her pupils went back to slits as she looked down at the ground. She looked scared. He put a hand on her back, and took her down the hallway. Stella again choked back tears she couldn't bring herself to look up. She knew he was going to kick her out if she wasn't good enough, she never would be. She wanted to let tears fall, but she couldn't, not like this. She opened her mouth to beg him to give her another chance. But it was already too late. He had stopped in front of a door, so she decided to accept her fate. After all, it was bound to happen one day or another, better to save herself the heartache when he does leave her alone. He moved away from her, taking his hand off her back, and put his other hand on the door.
The doors slid open, revealing a room with a bed in the middle of it. She moved her head up expecting wildlife, but instead she came face to face with a room. She then looked at Khyber with confusion. “This is your room. From now on, I'll have Zed come get you after you rest, and we’ll then all eat together." He tells her in a soft tone, as soft as he could, there wasn't much of a difference, but Stella immediately noticed it. Her worried expression morphed into a joyful one as she again lunged herself at him, hugging him tightly again, a warm feeling started to pool inside her chest. It was a wonderful feeling. She's never felt this happy before. “Thank you, Mr……” She knew she was pushing her luck, but she really wanted to know the name of her father… well, he may not be her birth father or even chosen father, at least not known to him. But from this day forward, Stella will see him as her father, as her teacher, as her everything. Everything she's ever wanted was right in front of her, a father or just someone to be proud of her to be happy to say she was theirs… she'll make sure to make him proud. After a moment of him not saying anything, she decided to drop it, not wanting to annoy him.
A wide smile was on her lips as she moved away from him to look at her room and explore it. She let out a happy squeal as she ran around the room. He looked at her with a small smile on his face. He slowly closed her door, but before he did, he said, “We’ll decorate your room later… and you may call me Khybre and my loyal friend Zed.” He closed the door and left for the skinning room, but he heard the loud, high-pitched squeal that left the girl. A sinister smile made its way to his jaw as he walked down the hall. He truly was in the right place at the right time to get a girl who was oh so desperate to make someone proud of her. But not only that, she may have other abilities, he must take some of her DNA and search for whatever she is or is mixed with to train her better. He walked back into the main room of his ship, where Zed sat waiting for him. He put a hand on his companion's head, patting it, and then went to the skinning room to prepare the prey Stella had gotten.
